Hey guys yet again, so here's another chapter of Never Existed as I promised ;) And just a week since the last chapter was uploaded, how well's that? :D So anyways, have you guys got a good idea of what's going on yet? If so, you could review or PM me your answer…if you'd like that is... ^^; Personally, I love how the story's going so far and hope for it to get better and better as it deepens in time :)
So I'd better get on with the chapter before I start blabbering on about random junk XD

"But, I don't understand. How come you don't know Zecora? It's like you never even….met….her…" Twilight replied as her voice started to fade out in realization.
"That's true, I haven't met her. Is she a pony friend of yours?" Rarity asked with a hoof hanging up slightly.
Twilight just stood there in shock and sudden realization, it had finally hit her, although it was only early afternoon and not even a day yet that she had been stuck in this kind of world that was the same but somehow looked and felt different to her, much different. As she circled around to look at all her surroundings, it had finally been confirmed. She had realized why everyone was acting strange and why none of the Princesses other than herself were around.
"You…don't know how I am, don't you?" The young alicorn asked in a worried and quieter voice.
There was a brief moment of silence, and then Rarity had finally answered with a small exhale.
"I'm sorry; I just can't seem to figure out who you are. You just look like an alicorn, much like the others that had betrayed us." She explained in a dark voice as she glared to the side, thinking about the four other alicorns that she had known for some time.
Twilight nodded slowly, but then as she ran those words through her head, she spotted something. "Wait, betrayal? What do you mean? And where are these other alicorns?"
Rarity looked stunned from all these questions being asked to her, she backed away a few steps with a confused by surprised facial expression. "Well, all that I know is that the alicorns had all betrayed us. One went missing, two are ruling over all of Equestria and the other I haven't seen in some time."
"What are their names?" Twilight asked as if she were giving an interview to her best friend who seemingly didn't remember her.
"Well, I'm not sure about the one that has been missing. I think the evil alicorns name is Nightmare…Moon..? Oh, and the last alicorn is Princess Celestia who betrayed us when we needed her the most!"
"What about the other alicorn you mentioned..?" Twilight asked with a slight clear idea of who that last alicorn was.
Rarity faced downwards and closed her eyes slowly with regret. "I don't want to mention her name." Tears began to roll down her cheeks as she finished her sentence.
Twilight looked down with her eyes half closed. "I think I know who you mean..."
"How?" The white unicorn asked with sudden astonishment and opening her eyes to reveal shrunk pupils and dazzling blue eyes.
"It's a long story…"
Afterwards, Rarity walked Twilight to her boutique which had really crumbled since the disaster had happened. There were cobwebs everywhere and old wooden planks to seal up the cracks in the walls and windows. Luckily her door managed to stay up as well as the walls and stairs of the building, rarity took Twilight upstairs to her bedroom where there were torn up designs and dust as well as cobwebs on her mannequins. The materials looked as if they hadn't been used in ages; there was a layer of dust on every piece of fabric that was found. Twilight was stunned and amazed at how the place had crumbled, she still didn't have a very clear view of what was going on just yet. But she was about to learn the truth of what had happened.
After Twilight had told all that she knew of what had happened before the massive change, Rarity was astonished to hear how the world once was. She felt sympathetic for how Twilight had been feeling since the big change, even though she has no memory of Twilight at all.
"Twilight…I am so sorry for what you are dealing with, I wish I could help somehow..."
Twilight gasped with realization "Maybe you can, with the elements of harmony!" She told Rarity with hope and pride.
"Excuse me? What are these elements of harmony?" The white unicorn asked with much confusion.
Twilight almost felt the confusion rush through her head again, but she managed to block it with her realization of what was going on around her. So she took a deep breath inwards and gently closed her eyes.
"The elements of harmony have untold power that can only be activated by the spirits of each element: Honesty, Kindness, Laughter, Generosity, Loyalty and Magic. These elements can't work individually, they must be united together to work. Once before the sixth element was created, there were only five elements, magic wasn't part of it until I created it with the spark that was created within me. That moment I realized that I was the spirit of magic."
Rarity had no words for what Twilight had explained carefully to her, but she did say to continue carrying on the explanation.
"These elements were once used to banish Nightmare Moon into the moon, but they said in legends that she would someday return: after a thousand years."
"Wait, Nightmare moon?" Rarity sounded very familiar and stuttered as soon as she heard that name.
"Well…yes."
Rarity then explained almost everything Twilight had been waiting to know for what seemed eternity but was only a few long and tiring hours as well as a long and blistering cold night. She was stunned to learn of how her friends are now acted and how so much had changed over such little time. But she still felt as lost as ever, she had no clue where to start. There was just so much that had to be undone, and every little thing was just as important as the other so this made her confused but not in the same way as before.
"Thank you so much for telling me, but now I don't know where to start…"
"Start what, exactly..? You technically didn't exist in this world so does that mean that you'd have to…exist..? I'm sorry; I'm not as good with ideas as I used to be."
"Don't worry Rarity; I'll get down to the bottom of this. We just need to get things back to normal."
And then, it clicked in her head. She knew exactly what she needed to do fist thing, to have her friends return back to the way they were before and recruit the elements of harmony. And defeat a familiar foe that they had all defeated once before but only Twilight had known of defeat, it was the first time Twilight had discovered friendship and it'll the first time that all her friends discover what friendship really was and what it still can be. But will she able to change the way her friends were now? She had found one, and presumably returned her to normal, or so she thought. So, how about the rest? Where were they? How do they act: worse…or better..?
Okay, is it me or does FanFiction make my chapters look too small? *sigh* I'm pretty sure it's me, even with all the effort I put in they still look a ton short than some stories I've read XC Oh, and I was meant to upload this last weekend but then I got sick and I seriously could NOT get up! DX and now school is really pressuring me so that's why I cut this one a little shorter than usual. But I'll still try my best to bust out two more chapters by the end of the month. ;)
