The group falls from the ground and hit concrete. Pepper sits up and sees a city in view.
"So, where are we this time?" Pepper asked.
Kay ignored her and punched the ground in anger. Kyla shook her head, "Techno... coordinates for the planet Shuggazoom..." she says to Pepper.
"Planet what?" Taylor asked.
"Techno, to Shuggazoom!"
Taylor knocks Kyla in the head. "That should do it."
Kyla rubbed her head, "Pepper, my head hurts as if a bus hit me."
"Aw, you poor thing." Pepper said as she hugged Kyla.
Kyla looks over to Kay, "What's wrong with her?" she asked Pepper.
"Not sure." Pepper shrugged.
"May I help you, travelers?" a voice asks. The trio looks up.
A teen with short black hair, black glasses, a black turtle neck sweater and a black mini skirt looked at them in curiosity. She held a cane and patted it on Taylor's head.
"Well, you are here." she said with a dead voice.
Taylor growled and swatted the cane away from her.
"A feisty one." she said monotonely, "My name is Kashira, what are yours?"
Kay's eye snap open. She hops in front of Kashira, "You're K.C. and Yami's youngest daughter!
Kashira just nodded, "Hello Aunt Kay. It's been a while."
"She's one of K.C's daughters?!" Taylor exclaimed.
Kay nodded. Kyla went up to her and waved her hand in Kashira's face. She doesn't blink, not move. "What's wrong?" Kashira asked, "Can't you tell? I cannot see."
"So you're blind?" Pepper asked.
Kashira nodded. "Come. We need to go to Ikebukuro. That's the city over there." She lifts her cane and points to the city. She puts it down and starts walking. The others follow.
"So... can you explain to us where we are?" Taylor asked.
"You are in Ikebukuro, Japan. A city close to Tokyo."
"Where are we going?" Kyla asked.
Kashira's glasses flash, "To my home."
"Where's your home?" Pepper asked curiously.
"In an apartment." after a few minutes, they make it to a large building. They go up an elevator and make it to a room with no room number.
But they followed Kashira anyways.
They enter the room. Kashira turned on the lights and the group find a man sleeping on the couch. He had messy blond hair, blue sunglasses, and bartender clothing.
"Who's that?" Pepper asked.
"That's Shizuo." Kashira said dully, "I guess he fought Izaya again." Kashira said as she tapped an empty glass milk bottle.
"Izaya?" Taylor asked.
"A guy he just hates." Kashira said. She touches Shizuo's shoulder and shakes him lightly, "Shizuo-san, time to get up."
An arm grabs her wrist and it seems as it threaten to break it. Shizuo sits up and glares at Kashira in pure hatred and anger. "Izaya you-" he stops and realizes its Kashira. He let's go. "Sorry..." he mumbled. "It's Ok." Kashira said, emotionless.
"Hi!" Pepper said cheerfully as she waved at him.
He glared at her, "Who are all these freaking girls?"
"The one with the eye patch is my Aunt Kay, the one with a white sweater is Kyla, the one with white hair is Taylor and the one in the tank top is Pepper." The Taylor, Kyla and Pepper's jaws dropped to the ground.
"How do you know our names?" Pepper asked.
Kashira's glasses flash, "None of your business." she said without emotion, but anger still filled her voice.
"So, why are you guys acting so serious? You both act like you don't want us to be here or something." Taylor said.
"Well... Shizuo doesn't like people popping out of nowhere in his home without his say so. And I'm serious because my mother was when she was my age."
"Oh, so that means you'll be more cheerful next year?" Pepper asked with a stupid smile on her face.
Kashira says and does nothing.
Pepper just looks at Kashira in confusion and then she threw her hands up. "Then at least say you want a pony!" Pepper exclaimed, and then Taylor grabbed Pepper's braid and dragged her away to get her to shut up.
Kashira takes hold of one of Shizuo's cloth tails on his suit. "We are leaving. Come." she led four follow downstairs and outside. The group walks until they stop at a park.
"Why are we here?" Taylor asked, who was still holding onto Pepper's hair.
"Meeting the Dollars Gang." Kashira said, "They are the biggest gang in Ikebukuro and there color is... camouflage. Other gangs, like the yellow scarves, are idiotically colored."
"Okay, well it sounds like there're a lot of gangs." Taylor said.
"Yes. There are. But, the Dollars and the Yellow scarves are the last gangs because the cops arrested the other gangs. But the Dollars help people. No harm them like the Yellow scarves." Shizuo rolls his eyes and takes out a cigarette from his pocket. He lights it and takes a huge drag from it.
"You know you could die from smoking." Pepper said.
Shizuo glared at her, "So what." he growled.
"... Uh... Nothing..." Pepper said.
The group goes into the park, but a knife is thrown at Kashira. Shizuo catches it in between his teeth and breaks the knife with his jaws. He growls.
"Wow! You have to teach me how to do that!" Pepper exclaimed. Another knife is thrown at them and Taylor catches it with her fingers and easily snaps it like a twig.
"... And that." Pepper said.
"Not now Pepper!" Taylor growled at her.
A knife charges at Kyla. Kay catches it between her pinky and ring finger, snapping the blade in contact.
"Well, Shizuo-chan, Kashira-ku, I never knew you have such beautiful friends."
"Who's that?" Pepper asked.
"Don't know, don't care, probably some creeper." Taylor grumbled.
Kashira's glasses glint, "Izaya."
A man with black hair, black shirt and jeans, and a fluff rimmed coat. He smiles, "Why hello, beautiful." he looks over at Kyla and the others, "Who are these lovely ladies?"
Shizuo glares at him and takes hold of a street sign. He squeezes it and it dents and brakes like a toothpick. "You stay away from them." he hisses.
Izaya rolls his eyes, "Or what? Throw a trash can at me? Your strength is useless."
Taylor growled at him silently. She was blushing from his comment earlier, but she was glaring at him and ready to break his arm. Pepper, however, was blushing like there was no tomorrow and she was just staring at him in shock.
"Idiot." Taylor mumbled at Pepper.
Izaya took knives from his coat and threw them at Kashira and Shizuo. They both dodge and Shizuo throws the sign at Izaya. Kashira takes a pistol from her sweater and starts fire at Izaya. He dodges those at ease. But she was so close! She was blind, and she almost hit him! Izaya disappears. Kashira puts her pistol away.
Pepper and Kyla marvel at this, "WOW!"
"Where's Kay?" Taylor asked. The group looks around. The general was nowhere in sight.
"Oh god, why does she keep magically disappearing like that?" Taylor groaned.
Kashira gasps, "She's in danger."
With Kay, she is being carried into a building. She put down on a bed and puts chains on her ankles and wrists. The blind fold is removed and Izaya smirks.
"You're a pretty unusual girl. Your voice is too serious."
He presses his hand on her mouth. She couldn't make a sound. Her eyes widen. Izaya chuckles, "You look cute when you're scared." He takes a knife and points it to her throat, "I like that."
Tears form in her eye and the knife goes into her throat. Silent screams fill the room.
Back with the others, they are desperately searching for the General.
"Kay?! Kay?!" Taylor shouted. She was straining her human ears to try and hear her. She may not have her normal ears, but she still had her "super" hearing.
"Kay?!" She called out again. She did hear something, but it was very faint and far away. She growled and spun around as if she was trying to find the location of the sound.
Kay was thrown to a street corner. She hurt so much. Her throat mostly. He took that knife... and cut out her vocal cords. She heard Taylor from a distance, she tries calling out to her. No sound. Hot tears stream her face. She tries to get up, but her legs hurted like hell.
Taylor ran around the corner and went past Kay, but she backed up and looked back at Kay. Blood.
"KAY!" Taylor exclaimed as she dashed over to her and gathered her in her arms for a hug. "What the hell did he do?!" Taylor exclaimed when she saw Kay's throat.
When Kay didn't say anything, Taylor felt like crying since she wasn't able to save her voice in time. Then she balled her fists in anger at what Izaya did. "He's gonna pay... I'm gonna give him hell..." Taylor growled. "Can you walk?" Taylor asked as she calmed down a little. Kay didn't respond again and Taylor just helped her anyways.
Pepper and the others run over. Kyla gasped, "What happened?!" she notices blood and Kay's throat cut opened.
Shizuo balled up his fists and his cigarette broke between his teeth. "Izaya."
Kashira took his hand, "Calm down, we'll get him."
"Can we get him NOW? I swear I'm gonna kill him for hurting Kay!" Taylor snarled as her eyes flashed red.
Kay's eyes filled with fear and tried to tell her 'Please no!' but to no avail.
Pepper noticed the look in Kay's eyes and she looked at her in confusion. "But Taylor, maybe we should-" Pepper started, but Taylor sent her a glare that could kill.
Kay was trying to get to her feet and run, but it just hurt too much. She toppled to the ground and fell to her knees. She clutches her abdomen in pain. She stares at Taylor with fear and tears.
Taylor saw that and her eyes went back to their normal cyan color. She looked at her hands as if she killed someone and she gave an apologetic look to Kay. 'Crap, I didn't mean to scare her, I didn't mean for my anger to get out of hand. She probably thinks I'm a monster now.' Taylor thought as she turned around and ran away so she could be alone.
Kay reached out for her, but disappears around the corner. 'Did I... do something wrong?' she tries and ignores the pain and runs after Taylor.
Kyla and Pepper stood there, dumbfounded. Kashira and Shizuo's backs were against the duo. But, they both feel rags over their mouths and chloroform filled their mouths and noses, knocking them out instantly. They get dragged away, undetected.
Taylor slowed down after five minutes of running, and she found a tall tree. She climbed up towards the top and she leaned against the trunk. The wind blew in her face and Taylor sighed, finally feeling free again. She just sat there with her eyes closed while she listened to the leaves on the trees shaking and the birds chirping.
Kay stops under the tree where Taylor is, not noticing her up in it. Her legs shake and she falls to the ground. Her felt like someone bent an iron pipe around her head and started squeezing with it. Her insides were on fire and her legs were lead filled with needles. Her throat has formed into a white scar on her neck very quickly. Her eye starts bleeding from all the pain.
Taylor looked down and when she saw Kay, she nearly fell out of the tree once again. "Kay?" She murmured as she jumped down and landed lightly beside her. "What the hell? Are you okay?" Taylor asked frantically.
Kay wrapped her arms around Taylor and buried her head in Taylor's chest.
Taylor hugged her back gently and Kay calmed down.
'I don't wanna be alone right now...' Kay said in her mind. The duo hears Kyla and Pepper's screams.
Taylor gasped and she stood up with Kay. "Izaya!" Taylor exclaimed. "He has Kyla and Pepper!"
Kay eyes widened. But, they hear gunshots. A car comes flying towards them.
Taylor held Kay tightly and jumped out of the way of the car with her, which missed them by an inch. Taylor hit the ground first to break Kay's fall and the car skidded to a halt ten feet away from them.
Shizuo came with a VERY pissed off expression. Kashira walks up next to him, pistol in hand. Izaya appears behind Taylor and Kay. He has Kyla in his grasp. Pepper was nowhere to be seen.
"Shizuo-chan, Kashira-ku, how about you both calm down and I'll leave little Kyla and Pepper alone."
"I'm not little you jackass!" Kyla snapped.
"Shut up." he hissed at her, "Or you will never see your little friend again."
"You b****, what have you done with Pepper?!" Taylor growled, her eyes flashing red again.
"I'm not going to tell you." Kay hides behind Taylor in fear. 'I haven't seen Kay this scared for years!' Taylor thinks, 'This guy really messed her up!'
Kyla squirms and wriggles, "I will save Shuggazoom from your claws, Skeleton King! The Hyper Force will stop you!" Izaya and everyone stared at Kyla in confusion.
"Huh?" Taylor asked in confusion.
"The Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force GO!" Kyla exclaimed.
"How old IS this girl?" Kashira asked Taylor.
"Fourteen?"
Taylor shrugged and then looked back at Izaya. "What will it take for you to release Kyla and Pepper?" she asked with a threatening growl.
Izaya smirks, "How about giving me that general back. It's very cute and amusing seeing her so scared."
Shizuo hits Izaya with a sign. "OVER MY DEAD BODY FLEA!"
Kyla flies out of Izaya's arm and into the air. "I CAN FLYYYYYYYYYYYYY!" She yells in excitement.
Shizuo catches her and puts her down, "Look, Techno, I'm FREEEEEEEEEEEE~ FREE FALLING~"
"Flying?! What the hell?!" Taylor exclaimed.
Kashira goes up to Kyla and knocks her with her cane. "Owe! What was that for?!" Kyla snapped. Kashira knocks her again, "You are becoming delusional. You need to fix that."
"Delusional? But, Techno, I'm perfectly fine." Kashira hits her on the head again. "Who the hell is Techno?" Kashira starts to lose patients. "The Robotic Monkey of the Hyper Force!" Kashira hits her head, AGAIN.
"Kyla! Do you know where Pepper is? Is she okay?" Taylor asked as she walked over to Kyla and started shaking her.
"...Pepper? Um... Izaya's condo?" Shizuo growls, "It's pretty obvious."
"THEN WHAT THE HELL ARE WE WAITING FOR?! LET'S GO!" Taylor shouted as she dashed off.
Kashira followed her, "Shizuo, keep an eye on those two."
"But-" Kashira glares at him. He shuts up.
Kashira takes a cell phone out and dials a random number. She does this while running, "Celty, we need some back up on Izaya."
Taylor made it to the condo and she kicked the door off of its hinges. She jumped through the doorway with her guard up and prepared for anything. She strained her ears and walked around cautiously as if she expected there to be some kind of trap somewhere.
"Pepper?" She called out.
"What do you think you're doing?" a lady's voice asked. Taylor turned and found a woman with long black hair and a lab coat.
"Who are you?' Taylor growled.
"I am Dr. Namie Yagiri. What are you doing in Mr. Orihara's home? Did he do something," she sighs, "Yet again?"
"Mr. Orihara? Don't you mean Izaya?" Taylor asked.
"Um... Yes?" she said, "You are in his home, after all."
Taylor growled at her, her red eyes flashing. "Good. Then maybe you can tell me where he's hiding my friend."
"Your friend? What do you mean?"
Taylor took her by the throat, "Don't play dumb with me." she hissed.
Namie gulps, then smirks, "We were going to do a test with her's and Kyla's heads. Like this one."
A curtain rises and Pepper and (somehow in hell) Kyla are on examination tables. But their clothes were switched. Kay and Shizuo are knocked out in a corner.
"What the..." Taylor murmured as she stared. Then she tightened her grip on Namie's throat and Taylor's eyes glow red. "What. Did. You. Do?" She slowly said.
Namie smiles, "Go in and see. They're alive, I'll tell you that." Taylor throws her to the ground and goes in the concealed room. She goes up to Kyla, who is wearing Pepper's clothes. "Kyla?" she shakes her.
She wakes up slowly, "Ugh... Taylor? My head hurts..." Taylor steps back. It's Kyla, with Pepper's voice?!
"P-pepper?" Taylor asked. Just then, Taylor knew what happened and she turned back to face Namie. "You switched their brains, didn't you?" She hissed.
Namie shook her head, "No, their whole heads."
Pepper rubs her head and looks down. She seemed a little shorter and her hair was darker in brown. It wasn't a braid. She looked over were Kyla was and her jaw dropped to the floor. Her head was on Kyla's body! She zoomed over to a mirror and looked at her reflection. "AIIIIII!"
"Change them back or I'll bring all of hell down on you!" Taylor shouted as her hair shaded to black.
When Taylor turned around, Namie was gone. Kyla stirred, "Ugh... What happened...? Pepper... Can you hand me some Sunny-D?" She turns towards Pepper and her eyes widened. "AIYYYAAAAAAAA!"
Taylor balled her fists and breathed deeply to try and calm herself. Then she ran over to the wall and punched her fist right through it, which caused that whole side of the room to come down. Her hair turned slightly normal and her eyes stopped glowing, but they kept their red color. It would take time for her to calm down, or she had to take her anger out on something.
Kay regains consciousness and goes up to Taylor. She pats her shoulder, and then hugs her from behind.
Kyla and Pepper are pointing at each other's heads in the background saying, "How the hell did this happen!?"
"I didn't even know it was possible!"
Kay held on to her so she didn't fall to the ground. Shizuo finally wakes up and looks at Kyla and Pepper in confusion. The duo explains everything.
"... So that's what happened." Pepper finished as Kyla and her finished explaining.
Shizuo blinked, then realized, "Where's Kashira?"
"You tell me." Pepper shrugged.
Shizuo panics, "We can't leave her alone! Izaya might get to her!" Shizuo runs out of the room. Pepper runs after him. Kyla helps Kay with Taylor.
"Kashira?!" Everyone except Taylor and Kay called.
Pepper and Shizuo run down the street, but they hear a motorcycle coming towards them. The motorcycle appears. It stops in front of Pepper and Shizuo. A woman with a helmet that has cat ears and she wore a black bikers suit.
She takes out a cell phone and texts something on it. She shows it to the two, "Hello, Pepper. My name is Celty." she texts some more and shows it, "Are you and Shizuo searching for Kashira?"
"Um... Yes." Pepper said.
Celty texts up something else and shows it to Pepper, "I have no head. So I can't speak." it said on the screen.
"Then... How can you see and hear and think and eat and smell?" Pepper asked.
Celty texts, "I don't eat. I don't know how I can see or hear. I really can't smell either."
"Then how are you alive-" Pepper started, but Shizuo cut her off. "Do you know where Kashira is?!" He exclaimed.
Celty texted, "No... She called me, but it got cut off."
"That's not a good sign." Pepper said. "We need to find her... NOW!"
Celty texts and shows Pepper, "Hop on." a shadow appears and wraps around Pepper's head, turning into a helmet. She hops on and Celty swerves the bike sharply. Shizuo follows by running.
"Where would they be? Back at the condo?" Pepper asked.
Celty texts with her thumb and shows it to Pepper, "No. Your friends are still there and Izaya is going to a high school in search of Masaomi Kida and Mikado Ryugamine."
"Well... Then let's catch up to Izaya!" Pepper cheered. "Step on it!"
Celty revved the motorcycle and sped up faster with Shizuo in the dust.
"WAIT FOR ME!" He shouted as he ran faster.
Pepper giggled. Then Celty stopped abruptly. "Why'd you stop?" Pepper asked. Celty pointed to the road. In front of them was a bloodied body with knives surrounding her.
Her cane was tossed aside and her glasses were broken. Shizuo catches up with Celty and Pepper and freezes in his steps. His eyes widened.
Kashira.
"Oh. My. God..." Pepper whispered as Shizuo ran over to her and fell to his knees beside her. Pepper jumped off the motorcycle and caught up to him. "Is... Is she..." Pepper trailed off.
Shizuo felt for a pulse. None. Tears formed in his eyes. He held Kashira's dead body close and buried his face in her hair.
Pepper gasped and sat down beside him. "It'll be okay..." she said as she put a hand on his shoulder. "Everything will be fine..." She said, but hot tears stung her eyes as well.
Celty bowed her head. Shizuo gently puts Kashira down and gets to his feet. His eyes are shadowed out by his sunglasses and he starts walking forward.
A few tears fell from Pepper's eyes and she wiped them away. "I'm sorry we were too late..." Pepper whispered to Kashira before she stood up.
Celty patted Kashira's head and "kissed" the kid's forehead. 'It was nice knowing you kid...'
Then Pepper started wailing like a baby. She didn't like goodbyes, and this was one of the many things that made her snap.
Celty puts a hand on Pepper's shoulder.
"Wh-what do we do n-n-now?" Pepper sobbed.
Shizuo's glasses gleam, "Kill that f***ing flea."
Pepper nodded and wiped her eyes again. "We should probably go check on the others first though." She said.
Celty hops on her bike and rides back to the lab. When she does, she finds the trio and texts "I'm a friend. Kay, we have a big problem."
She plopped the knocked out Taylor on her bike and made a double seat out of thin air. They ride back and Kay finds Kashira, dead. Her eyes widened, but no tears fell, 'Oh man, K.C. is going to KILL me.'
Pepper went over to Taylor and she tried to wake her up. Taylor groaned and she opened her eyes. "Why do I smell blood?" She asked. Then she saw Kashira and her jaw dropped. "Shit." She mumbled. "The heck happened here?"
"Izaya did this..." Pepper explained.
Taylor narrowed her eyes and looked over to where Kashira was laying. "Then... We have to get him back!" Taylor exclaimed.
The group search for Izaya, but they never notice a glasses man picking up Kashira's body.
"I can't find him..." Taylor growled.
"We have to keep looking." Shizuo growls.
Kyla sighs, "We'll never find him in a city this big!"
"Well we have to! Come on everyone, split up into groups of two, brings someone that can fight. Pepper, you're with me." Taylor said.
"You think I'm a good fighter?" Pepper asked, touched.
"No, because you need me. I'm a good fighter." Taylor said, which crushed Pepper's spirits. "Screw you." Pepper groaned.
Kyla sighs, "Me and Kay will be with Shizuo. And Taylor, bring Celty with you." Kyla said while sweat dropping, "I have a feeling you'll be fighting and Pepper would be unsupervised."
"Hey!" Pepper shouted.
"It's the truth." Kyla said, "Plus, you have MY head!"
*elsewhere*
A man with black hair and glasses sets Kashira's body in a cylinder of water. Heart monitors and radars are checking up on her. The man jots down some notes, "If I get this right, I can reverse any death!"
"Alright, Celty, come with us." Taylor said as the three walked away.
The trio trudge on in search for Izaya. The other three go the other direction. "Oddly, I'm missing Kay's commanding voice." Kyla mumbled.
Taylor strained her ears again and was listening very carefully until... "HEY, IZAYA, COME OUT AND FIGHT LIKE A MAN!" Pepper shouted, her voice ringing in Taylor's ears. "OW! Shut up!" Taylor shouted as she smacked her across the face.
Celty texted, "Stop fighting! We're going to go nowhere if you keep this up!"
Pepper and Taylor both mumbled their apologies to each other and they kept searching.
Celty texts, *sigh* to herself. Back with Kyla, Kay and Shizuo...
"Now... If I was some sick, evil dude, where would I be...?" Kyla asked.
Kay shrugged. A shadow moves. Shizuo readies himself.
"What IS that?" Kyla whispered.
Kay started shaking in fear. Izaya emerged from the shadows.
"Well hello again." Izaya smirked.
Shizuo gave him a death glare and grabbed a phone booth, "You killed Kashira!"
Izaya smirked, "It was quite entertaining. She had quite a scream."
Taylor seemed to pick up the shouting with her hearing and she turned to face Pepper and Celty. "The others found Izaya, I can hear Shizuo shouting from all the way across the city!" Taylor exclaimed.
"No way, you can't hear that far away!" Celty texted.
Taylor just smirked. "You'd be surprised." She said before they ran off.
Shizuo threw the phone booth at him. Izaya dodges it and throws knives at Kay and Kyla. Their eyes widen in fear.
Then Taylor, Celty and Pepper ran in and Taylor grabbed the knives out of the air and held them like she would use them as a weapon. "Izaya, you tortured and killed our friends, now you will have to pay the price for that." Taylor snarled.
Izaya laughed, "Ha! And what can a human girl do to m-" a gunshot is heard and Izaya is shot in the shoulder. He is shot yet again, but in the leg. In the shadows, someone with a pistol and cane hid.
Pepper squinted to see into the shadows and she gasped. "Shizuo, you might want to take a look at this..." Pepper said as she pointed to the shadows.
Kashira.
His eyes widened, "Kashira?" Kashira points the pistol at him and shoots him in the arm. He just looks at the wound. No pain. She shoots Kyla, Pepper, Taylor and Kay in arms or legs.
"Kashira?! What was that for?!" Taylor exclaimed. "Shoot at Izaya!" She said as she pointed at him with one of the knives.
She shoots Taylor in the arm.
Taylor winced slightly and then growled at her. "You call this a gun wound? This is a mere scratch. But if you want to make an enemy out of me then shoot me agai-" Taylor started, but Pepper stopped her.
Kyla held on to her leg in pain, "K-Kashira... Why?" Shizuo tries to walk up to her, but she fires a few more rounds into his chest. He continues walking towards her. She shoots his some more.
"Shizuo, you're going to get yourself killed, you idiot!" Taylor shouted at him.
"Taylor, seriously, calm down." Pepper said to her.
Kashira grinds her teeth together and shoots him more. He is about a foot away from her.
"What is he doing?" Taylor growled as she kept an eye on him.
Kashira points the pistol into his chest and was about to pull the trigger, but Shizuo wraps his arms around her. Her eyes widen in shock.
They stayed like that for a while before Izaya threw another knife at them.
It stabbed Shizuo in the back. He grimaces, pain finally flows through him. Kashira growls and shot Shizuo.
Taylor shoved Pepper off of her and her eyes flashed red. She couldn't take this any longer. She threw the knife at Kashira and it hits her gun perfectly, which destroyed it, and then she threw the second knife at Izaya, which hit his chest.
Izaya hits the ground and smirks. "I can't die." he disappears into thin air. Shizuo wouldn't let go of Kashira.
Pepper was just staring at the ground where Izaya once was and she just pointed. "You guys saw that, right? I'm not going crazy?" She asked.
Taylor rolled her eyes and walked past her. "You're already crazy." She mumbled as she went over to Kashira and Shizuo. "Are you okay?" Taylor asked as she eyed the knife stuck in Shizuo's back and the bullet holes all over his body.
Shizuo didn't say anything. Kyla went over and shook him a little, "Um... You ok?" Shizuo goes limp and falls to the ground. Kashira steps back and runs away, leaving her cane behind. Kyla gasped and Taylor checked his pulse, "He's still alive."
"Someone needs to go after Kashira!" Taylor said as she took the knife out of Shizuo's back.
Kay nods and runs after her. "Kay, wait!" Kyla calls out. Kay ignores her.
"Kyla and Pepper, go after her." Taylor said as she removed some of the bullets from Shizuo's wounds easily. "Celty, could you give me a hand?"
Celty nods and starts pulling bullets out. Kay is chasing after Kashira and tackles her to the ground. They throw off punches at each other. Kay pins her to the ground.
Pepper and Kyla finally got to them and helped her hold down Kashira.
A man with glasses comes running. He stops in front of them, "I'm *pant* so sorry! My *gasp* experiment ran away."
"Experiment? The heck?" Pepper asked. But when Kashira saw him, she started thrashing around more to try and get free.
"Kashira is my 'rise of the dead' experiment. She is Celty's friend, so I brought her back to life. And, I can fix you twos heads."
"Really?" Pepper asked.
He nodded, "I am a doctor after all." Kashira thrashes around even more, "Heh. I guess I made her anger levels too high."
"I guess so-" Kyla said before Kashira managed to hit her in the head.
Kyla staggers back and Kay holds Kashira down tighter. Kashira kicks her in the gut, gets up and runs.
"Wait!" Pepper called after her, but she was long gone.
The man face palms, "Great. More running. By the way, my name is Shinra. Let's go!"
"Um... Okay." Pepper said as the four of them ran after Kashira.
They run after the blind girl. But, it seems that she has fallen to the ground. Shinra sighs, "Damn it. She lost power."
"Power? Like a battery?" Pepper asked.
Shinra nodded, "Yep. I replaced her heart with a battery."
"... That's wrong on so many levels." Pepper said.
Shinra rolled his eyes, "You want her to STAY dead? She's fourteen!"
"Wait a second, Shizuo is older, is he? Like, sixteen?" Kyla said.
"No. Twenty four. Why?"
"Yeah, why?" Pepper asked.
"Um... it's kinda obvious Shizuo has a crush on her."
Pepper blinked in confusion before a smile spread across her face and she started fan girling. "Aww, no wonder he's been acting so nice around her!"
Kyla stuck her tongue out in disgust, "Let's hope he's not a pedophile. He's TEN YEARS older than her!"
"Nothing stands in the way of true love!" Pepper squealed, totally fan girling. Kay walked up to her and slapped her across the face, which caused Pepper to turn more serious. "Thanks." She said to Kay, who nodded.
Shinra nodded, "I will have to agree. Celty is hundreds of years older than me. But I still love her with all my heart~"
"See?" Pepper said as she pointed to Shinra. "Age can't come between love."
Kyla and Kay face palm.
"So you said something about fixing our heads?" Pepper asked Shinra.
Shinra nodded, "Yep. Fixing your heads will be a piece of cake,"
"Awesome, could you fix it now?" Pepper asked. "I kind of want my own head back."
Shinra shrugged, "I don't see why not." he turns to Kay, "Miss Kay, may you carry Kashira to my lab, please?" Kay nods slightly, and then realized, 'How did he know my name?'
The others didn't seem to notice, but they followed him to his lab anyways.
When they get to his lab, he hooks Kyla and Pepper up to a machine. He presses a button and their world goes black. A few minutes later, for the duo, they awaken.
"Ow... my head hurts... did it work?" Pepper asked.
Kyla picks up a mirror and sees herself, but there was a huge white scar surrounding her neck, "Yeah, it worked."
"YAY!" Pepper exclaimed as she jumped to her feet and started skipping around in circles.
Shinra smiles, "I'm glad that you two are happy. Anyway, I have fixed Kashira and she's up and running. Wanna see her?"
"Yeah." Pepper said.
He leads the duo to a different room. Kashira is sitting on a bed. Her glasses were gone and her discolored eyes were shone. Her right eye was orchid purple and her left was sharp blue.
"Kashira?" Pepper cautiously asked. "How are you feeling?"
2h ago She stares at the floor blankly. "Um... I gave her eyesight back. She needs to try and adjust to it."
"Wasn't she born blind?" Kyla asked.
Shinra shook his head, "No. She lost her eyesight in an accident."
"What kind of accident?" Pepper asked curiously.
Shinra adjusts his glasses, "She was attacked by a gang. She was hit in the back of the head with a baseball bat, a metal one, and it got her nerves in her eyes disconnected. She fell into the river and almost drowned. Celty saved her."
"Wow..." Pepper said. "Poor girl."
Shirna nodded, "Yeah. She says she used to live in a place called Domino City, but there isn't one on the map."
"Well that's strange..." Pepper said.
Kyla nudged Pepper. Kashira looks over to the duo, "...Where am I?"
"Somewhere safe, don't worry." Pepper said calmly.
Kashira blinked, "Where's Shizuo..."
"He's with Celty and Taylor." Pepper said.
Kashira gets to her feet and tumbles back down.
"Are you okay?" Kyla asked as she and Kay helped her up.
"I... I feel... I feel sick..." Kashira pants.
"Shinra, what's wrong with her?" Pepper asked.
"Well, he body has to adapt to her new eyesight and heart. So she might feel nauseous." Kashira pukes. "And might vomit."
"So she has to take it easy for a while, right?" Kyla asked.
"Yep." Kashira pukes again. Now Kyla feels like she's gonna puke.
Pepper also felt like she was going to puke and she got goose bumps.
"Um... Kashira? How do you know that Shizuo isn't here?" Kyla asks while covering her mouth. "His... voice..." Kashira runs into the bathroom. Kyla and Pepper run out side. Kay face palms. 'Why does those two have weak stomachs?'
"Do you think we should bring Shizuo here?" Pepper asked.
"Nah." Kyla pukes behind a bush, "At least it's not blood."
"Yeah, that's good. Since I don't think throwing up all that blood is healthy." Pepper said. Leave it to her to point out the obvious.
Kyla nods, "It hurts like hell too."
"Aww, I'm sorry." Pepper said. "Hopefully it will go away though..."
"If Kashira stops puking!" the duo hears a motorcycle coming close.
Sure enough, it was Celty's motorcycle, and Kashira looked over at it curiously, but she stopped puking.
Celty stops in front of the puking duo. She texts "Taylor is coming and she's carrying Shizuo on her back somehow."
A few minutes later, Taylor was easily carrying Shizuo piggy-pack style. "This guy is just like a little kid." Taylor laughed as she approached them.
Kashira notices Shizuo on Taylor's back and asked, "Who's that?"
"Shizuo, don't you remember him?" Taylor asked. Then, she suddenly realized something and she raised her eyebrow. "Wait, how can you see him?" She asked.
"Well, she kind of got her sight back." Kyla said.
Kashira stared at Shizuo, "So... he looks like that?"
"Yeah." Taylor said as she put him down gently. He was still unconscious, but all of his wounds were taken care of and he should be fine.
Kashira blinks, "...Not what I pictured him. But... he looks... um... cute..." she blushes.
A huge smile shot across Pepper's face and her eyes sparkled. "Aww, young love~" She said, smiling.
Kashira blushes harder, "..."
Taylor walked over to Pepper and smacked her upside the head. "OW!" Pepper exclaimed.
Kashira staggers back. "It's kinda weird seeing her show emotion." Kyla said to Kay. Kay nodded.
Just then, Shizuo seemed to be waking up and he opened his eyes and saw Kashira. They widened, "Kashira?" Kashira blinked. He ran over to her and gave her an embrace. She blushes like crazy.
Kyla and Pepper high five, until... HOLE! "NOT AGAAAAAAIIN!"
