Elphaba stumbled as she entered the room she had first kept Glinda in, she had come back to herself just a few steps ago.

"Glinda!" she cried out as she unlocked the door. She wasn't thinking about anything other than the fact that she had to find her. She growled in frustration as she left the room trying to remember anything she had done as the Witch.

"Where did you put her you vile creature?" she hisses before calling out for Glinda again as she thoroughly checked every room down the halls.

"Glinda where did she put you?!"

Glinda was slumped against the wall, not bothering to support herself, hanging loosely from the chains. It hurt her arms, but she didn't care. Nothing mattered. She was just going to be tortured against the next time the Witch showed up, and Elphaba seemed to be dead and gone. At least it had sounded like it from what the Witch had said. She was never getting out. So what was the point of caring?

She had stopped crying a while back, becoming resigned to her fate. Everything hurt, the Witch had hit everything she could reach. She was cold, but she knew she wouldn't freeze to death. No, that wouldn't be allowed, the Witch had to have her fun. She didn't hear Elphaba calling from the halls, the walls to the room extremely thick. It didn't take a genius to figure out why.

She dreaded their next encounter. The Witch had seemed rather keen to violate her, and there was only so many times she could hit her before she got bored.

Elphaba opened every door as she ran down the halls.

"Glinda! Please where are you?!" She cried as she searched the rooms.

She turned down a hall and froze, Glinda was here, she could feel it.

"Glinda!" she cried doubling her efforts to find her.

Elphaba opened one door that she had to pull rather hard to open and almost screamed at the sight.

"Glinda!" she quickly ran over to her friend, going to make sure she was alive.

When the Witch came rushing towards her Glinda regained her footing and screamed. She may be resigned to the fact she was going to be tortured, but it didn't mean she was just going to be silent about it.

"NO!" She screamed, flattening herself against the wall.

"Stay away. Please don't hurt me Miss Witch. Please, its too soon!"

Elphaba paused then searched the room for they key. Well at least she's alive but most likely not feeling too well.

Elphaba grinned as she found the key and turned back to the blonde, approaching slowly.

"I'm not going to hurt you Glinda," She reached up and started to undo the chains preparing to catch the blonde if she fell. "I'm me now, I'm not going to harm you I'm going to bring you back up to my room so you can rest." She carefully undid the binds and released Glinda from the wall.

Glinda panicked at that grin, she decided the Witch looked positively demented. She pressed herself back into the wall as she approached, screaming with fears at the lies she spun. She wasn't going to hurt her, she had said that before, she had told her to calm down, and she had whipped her.

Take her to her bed! She wasn't that stupid. She was going to try and rape her wasn't she. She was just putting on an act, to get her to follow her, to come with her. Elphaba was dead, she had as good as told her so herself. This was all an act, this wasn't her Elphie.

She found her footing quickly and gave the Witch a hard shove, stumbling to get away. But she fell immediately to the ground, unable to support herself, being weak from pain. She cried out as she hit the floor, pain radiating through her body,k bouncing from bruise to bruise. Desperately she began to crawl weakly towards the door, though she knew it would do her no good.

Elphaba was shocked at the shove but knew she shouldn't have been.

"Glinda!" She called as the blonde fell to the floor. Elphaba knew touching would be out of the question so she sat on the floor next to her, her gut twisting in pain as she saw her try to crawl away.

"I'm not going to hurt you, it's me Elphaba. And you're going to tire soon enough and then you'll have no choice but to let me carry you, I'd rather do that knowing you're not going to panic." Elphaba sighed. "Glinda, please, I will not hurt you, and I swear I wont-" she paused, the very thought making her angry but she had to do it.

"I wont read the book anymore, you were right, I'm sorry."

No. No this was all a lie. The Witch said she wasn't going to let Elphaba back. This was all a trick.

She continued to try to crawl away, knowing the Witch was teasing her. Soon she'd start counting again with that awful song.

"One severed head" She whispered to herself, imagining it with fear.

"Your lying" She squeaked, becoming rapidly weaker, her panic growing.

"Don't pretend to be her, please. I know she's dead" She cried, collapsing to the floor with a sob, unable to pull herself any further. The Witch was going to hurt her in the worst way possible, and she couldn't do anything about it.

"Just get on with it" She screamed, rolling over with the last of her strength, so she could stare upwards.

"But don't be her when you do it. Give me that mercy."

Elphaba looked to her shocked at the words.

"One severed head?" she asked shocked at hearing the words come from the blonde.

"Glinda what on earth are you talking about?" Elphaba shifted to sit closer to her head leaning over slightly to give a worried and questioning stare.

"What did she do to you?" she whispered under her breath.

Glinda let out a cry of fear when the Witch began to count. It was coming, it was going to happen. And she couldn't stop it. She saw her move closer and tears began to fall from her eyes, her body shaking in fear. She wished she wouldn't count, why didn't she just do it already?

"Please Miss Witch, don't do it" She cried, knowing it was useless. She closed her eyes as her head moved over her.

"Two burned bodies" She whispered to herself, knowing what was coming next. Just do it! She wanted to scream. She was getting more fearful with every second. Why did she have to drag this out?

Elphaba sat frozen and just stared at the blonde. 'one severed head? Two burned bodies!' what did the Witch do to her?!

"I'm not going to hurt you." She said softly. "I'm going to sit here until you listen to me, I'm Elphaba and I am not going to harm you."

No. Lies they were lies. But it just made it worse, it would make it worse thinking it was Elphaba that would touch her. That was why the Witch was doing it. To make it hurt emotionally as well as physically. She didn't want to imagine that it was Elphaba doing it, she didn't ever want to think of her that way. She would rather it was the Witch.

She hadn't noticed the Witch wasn't counting and murmured the next count herself. Flinching in fear as she thought it was the witch doing it, not realising that she was the one speaking the words.

"Three torn faces" She said, eyes clenching shut more tightly.

Elphaba gently spoke to Glinda.

"I'm not going to hurt you, stop saying those things you're scaring yourself. Please Glinda you have to open you eyes and see it is me. I'm not going to harm you. I'm Elphaba."

"Four buried lies, five lovers die, six murders look" She said in rapid succession and then let out a whimper of fear as in her mind the Witch sped up the count.

"No no no no" She cried, her whole body shaking.

Elphaba stared in shock at the words she couldn't figure out what they could possibly be for.

"Glinda please what are you doing?" She didn't reach out to touch her, knowing that would only confirm whatever fears the blonde had. "I'm not going to harm you, please, I'm so sorry,"

She flinched at the lies.

"Stop being Elphaba. Stop Stop!" She weeped. She didn't want Elphaba to hurt her, she didn't want it to happen at all. But she never wanted to think of Elphaba hurting her.

"Seven deadly books" She cried, breathing rapidly.

Elphaba knew she had to do something but didn't know what to do. She decided, knowing it may not be the best choice, that she had to get Glinda out of the room and off the cold floor.

"I'm going to pick you up," She gently picked her up off the floor carrying her bridal style as started to move up to her room.

"NO!" She screamed, trying to move, but being so weak she could barely lift her arms. Her eyes flew open. She hadn't finished the count, why was she doing it now! Where were they going? She didn't want it to happen, no no no!

She shook violently in her arms, unable to do much else but cry.

"Please I beg you. Don't do it. Beat me instead. Don't do it Miss Witch. Don't do it!" She cried pathetically.

"Shhh, Glinda it's okay, it's going be alright." Elphaba whispered gently as she carried her up to the room. Once in the room she gently laid Glinda on the bed before moving over to her dresser to pull out a night gown.

Those comforting words, twisted meanings. How could she use them when she was about to hurt her. She let out a little scream as she was laid down on the bed, anticipating an immediate assault. She was surprised when the Witch moved away, but didn't lift her head to see what she was doing. She decided she didn't want to know what horrors were in store for her, how she planned to hurt her in that way.

Elphaba moved back to the blonde when she had another nightgown. She gently pulled it over her head and helped her pull her arms into the sleeves, before pulling it down all the way. She then covered her with the thick covers trying to get her warmed up. She didn't say anything further as she moved to sit in the chair next to the window, waiting for when the blonde would calm down and believe her.

She whimpered and shook harshly as the Witch took hold of her. She tensed up, knowing this was it. So when all she did was dress her she was shocked. And when she pulled the covers up her mouth dropped open slightly in surprise. She didn't understand what was going on.

She let her eyes follow her as she moved to the chair. What was she doing? Letting her get stronger again so she would struggle? She did seem to enjoy her responses, maybe she was too weak to be any fun right now. Well, she didn't want to wait. She'd rather not have the pain intensify by her raping her when she was slightly stronger.

"Why are you waiting for? Just do it you bitch!" She screamed, suddenly filling with anger along with the fear, it giving her a temporary boost in energy.

Elphaba didn't look from the window as the tears started to fall down her face; she quickly brushed it away with her sleeve so it wouldn't burn.

"Just fucking rape me already. Get it over with" She shouted, breaking down into tears of her own and she curled up onto her side, facing away from Elphaba. She didn't see the tears falling down the green woman's face.

She just wanted it over with, though deep down she knew it wouldn't be the end of the torture.

Elphaba looked to the blonde as she cried.

"I'm not going to hurt you, Glinda." Elphaba looked back out the window. "You are going to rest, and when you wake we will try to get you back to Oz."

"I am not going to fall asleep. I want to see you look in my eyes when you slit my throat" She hissed, though her resolve was failing.

This didn't sound like the Witch at all, but Elphaba was dead, she was sure of it.

"Yes, when I 'wake' I will be back in Oz. Cut open as you planned and dumped on the steps of the Emerald Palace." She said, though she was rapidly becoming unsure.

What if this was Elphaba? She must be hurting her friend so much. But how could she know. Her mind was full of scorpions.

Elphaba didn't reply, she just swept more burning tears off her face as she looked to the clouds pass by.

If she couldn't convince Glinda that she wasn't going to harm her then she would just have to sit and make sure she didn't go anywhere near that damned book.

This time she saw it. The tears.

Oh no.

The Witch wouldn't cry.

What had she done. Saying all those cruel thing to Elphaba. Her chest tightened.

"Elphie." She whispered in horror, finally believing this to be her friend.
