"It's a…micro-disk." Kevin stood, shrugging as if it was no big deal.

'News flash asshole. Its a big fucken deal!'

He tossed me a look, probably hearing my growls. "A…a computer virus. Sergey wanted to use it on defense systems. Which would be very bad, especially since I'm kind of the only one that could deactivate it."

"Kind of?" McGee scoffed.

"It's a prototype. A few more months of testing wouldn't have hurt. But that's not a problem now, guys." I could see the wheel turning in both Gibbs and McGee's heads. This kid was a moron. "My uncles body should be home soon. And no one could get to it, but me. As long as no one plugs in that micro-disk, there is no danger."

McGee jumped to his feet, looking so close to punching the kid. "No danger? What, are you delusional? Think about who you've been working with the last few years."

"They will get the body." Gibbs said.

"And abby will get the micro-disk." McGee growled. "Still think there is no danger?" Kevin at least showed some guilt. "You best pray Abby doesn't get ahold of that disk."

Gibbs walked away from them and towards me with out a word. He simply kneeled beside me, gave me water in his cupped hands and proceeded to take care of my paw. Once he washed the blood and dirt off, he wrapped it with a piece of cloth. Giving me a small pat on the head and a smile, he turned back to the others. "We need to move, get to higher grounds in order to get a signal." Turning towards the tree's he sighed. "Put some distance between us and them."

I followed closely behind, stopping every few moments to sniff around. I couldn't catch any scent, of that out of the ordinary for the woods. But then again the wind was blowing away from us. Catching up to them once more, I winced as I stepped yet again on another rock. I was really starting to hate these woods. McGee was up in front trying to get a signal with the sat phone. Gibbs glanced at me, giving me a gesture towards the trees. With a growl, I trotted off searching, sniffing for any sight or scent of out Russian friends. Getting nothing, I kept moving along the sides, still watching Gibbs and the others. After a few moments, I ran to across them and to the other side, doing the same thing. I repeated the same process until I heard McGee.

"Oh boss, I got a signal." McGee quickly began dialing, desperate to get ahold of anyone.

"Luna." Gibbs called. "Watch." Standing beside him, focused on scanning the trees. My eyes flicking at every little noise, twig snap or leaf crunch I heard.

*Whoever it is, not now!* Tony snapped through the phone.

"Tony, wait, its me." McGee yelped.

*McGee. Is Gibbs with you?*

"Yeah. It's, uh, myself, Gibbs, Luna and Kevin. Our two pilots and crewman are dead." McGee mumbled.

I couldn't help, but bare my teeth at Kevin. The memory of that female pilot dying scared kept replaying in my head. I know it was wrong, but I blamed it all on him. Had he been straight with Gibbs, they could have still been alive. Not alone in a crash site, in the middle of no where, with wolves looking to feed. Gibbs voice snapped me out of my dark mind.

"DiNozzo, if anyone there finds a computer disk do not open it. Repeat, do not access the disk." Gibbs said.

I could hear the tight silence. 'Oh Abby.'

*Ah. Well, we would need a time machine, boss. Unfortunately its computer Armageddon around here.*

*Does Kevin know any quick fixes?* Vance jumped in.

Kevin shook his head. "Not quick that's for sure.i could trying working something out."

"Do it." Gibbs ordered. "Stand by on that, Leon."

*sitrep. Are you in danger?*

McGee sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Affirmative, sir. Shot down and being pursued. We're heading towards Finland."

*Do you know your coordinates?* Ziva asked.

"Just where we went down." McGee replied, handing the phone to Gibbs, he read out the coordinates.

As I turned to my left, I caught a reflection of some sorts. Running towards McGee, I slammed my head into the back of his knees. McGee went down, taking Gibbs and Kevin with him, just as a bullet hit the tree trunk in front of them. Crawling on my stomach, I laid between Gibbs and Kevin, who apparently got the ritoshade of the bullet.

"Thanks Luna." Gibbs gasped, tossing McGee a rag. "Stop the bleeding." Gibbs rolled onto his stomach, positioning his rifle and steadied his breathing. "Get ready to run." After a few seconds, he fired his shot and ordered us to run. I stayed put, until the three of them were in front of me, before moving.

We ran until the sun went down, leaving us running in the dark. I could easily navigate through the darkness, but I was the only the wolf in the group. Therefore I knew we needed to stop. Running ahead, I found the perfect spot to take up camp. Running back to Gibbs, I grabbed ahold of his sleeve and guided him to the spot.

"Good girl. McGee get a fire stared, I am going to build up a shelter." Gibbs ran off to gather wood and tree branches.

I jogged around the area, picking up tree branches and sticks. Taking them to McGee for the fire. By the time Gibbs was down with the shelter, McGee was still trying to get the fire going. I laid with my back to them, keeping my eyes on the trees. I tuned out the whining from Kevin, due to us stopping and getting the fire going. I couldn't help, but laugh as Gibbs handed McGee a lighter. Something about a Boy Scout Moto, 'always carry a lighter.' Not realizing I had doze off, I jumped to my feet growling at a loud scream. Scanning the three, I spotted Gibbs had burned Kevins leg to stop the bleeding. Giving them a growl, I fell back on my side, only to have Gibbs pull me by the collar.

'Oh come on! Can't I get a damn break!'

"Shh, quiet." Gibbs snapped.

Following him across the road we crouched down into the trees. Waiting for who knows what, but we waited. It wasn't long before a truck showed up. Four men jumped out of the car. All, but one headed towards our camp. Gunshots soon followed, my guess was the decoys worked. Gibbs sneaked up to the truck, rolling a grenade under the truck. I jumped slightly as the bond went off, Gibbs simply ordering us to keep moving. Gibbs and McGee moving as fast as they could, while holding Kevin up. I would run stop a few feet behind them, wait a bit and then catch up. I could hear them running towards us and they were not slowing down. We reached a the main dirt road, just as Sergey's voice came from the radio.

*You think we've been stopped? We never stop. And you will never leave.*

"What is this guy, the terminator?" Kevin groaned.

I scoffed. 'No just a very bad man. One you managed to piss off.'

"Turn it off, Tim." Gibbs ordered softly.

Kevin frowned, looking between the two of them. "Wait, why are we stopping?"

Gibbs glanced at McGee, gesturing towards Kevin. "Take him, Tim, keep going."

I glanced up at him, pretty sure I was gaping like a fish. 'Is he for real?!'

"No, boss…boss, we're not leaving you." Tim snapped.

"I'm with Tim. We've come this far." Kevin added.

'Geek is right. We are just one or two miles away from our destination.;

"We're not gonna get any father unless someone slows 'em down." Gibbs whispered. His voice was soft, almost as if coaxing children.

McGee shook his head, taking a step closer. "I'll stay."

Gibbs smiled softly. I could hear the way his heart sped up at that moment. Gibbs would rather die, than allow Tim to do that. "McGee…"

"Boss."

"I'll be right behind you." Gibbs smiled. McGee didn't by it, but it was a waste of time to argue with him. That didn't mean he had to like it or accept it. "Go on. Get out of here. Keep going." Tim grabbed Kevin, tossing Gibbs one more look before walking off. I stayed beside Gibbs, watching the two walk away. "You to."

I turned towards him, whimpering softly. 'I am not going anywhere.'

Kneeling in front of me, he grabbed my neck with both hands. "Go on, they need you more than me at the moment." Shaking my head, I growled. "Luna…go." Standing my ground, I was suddenly knocked to the side. Gibbs hand given me a kick on the side. Not hard enough to cause damage, just to get his point across. "Leave now!"

Slowly getting to my feet, I shook the dirt off, wincing slightly. Looking at him, I couldn't stop the growl from slipping out. A mate was never to cause their mate any harm, not on purpose. What he did hurt more emotionally, than it did physically. With a snarl, I took off running after McGee and Kevin. Catching up the two, I slowed down following closely behind. We all jumped at the sound of the first shot fired. Followed shortly by another. I stopped, glancing behind me, hoping to see him running towards us. Instead we had headlights coming towards us. Crouching, I stood before the two giving the truck a warning growl. It stopped a few feet away, doors opened and out came a few men. Suddenly a shot was fired, a few inches from my paws.

"Stop! She is with us!" Tim shouted.

"McGee?" Tony appeared from behind the truck.

"Tony!"

Tony ran to him, checking the younger agent over. "Hey, you hurt?"

McGee shook his head. "No, I am fine. Kevin has a through and through on the leg. Luna has a few cuts."

"And Gibbs?" Tony asked, looking around for the man. "Where is Gibbs Tim?"

"He stayed behind. Slow down the others." Tim whispered.

"Alright, alright." Grabbing Kevin and dragging him to the truck, he loaded both of them up. "Come on, lets go find him." I stayed put, before running back to where I left Gibbs. "Luna!" Tony shouted. "Where the hell is that damn wolf going?"

Tim laughed. "Where do you think?"

"Follow the animal." Tony ordered the driver.

I ran through the trees, following the scent I had on Gibbs. There was no blood, therefore I knew he wasn't hurt. Reaching the source, I broke out from the tree line and noticed I was behind Sergey. Gibbs was a few feet in front of him. Seeing the truck approach behind Gibbs, I pushed on my hind legs, aiming for Sergey. Landing on his back, just as Sergey raised his gun and Gibbs fired two shots. Tearing into the back of his vest and shirt, I could feel the warmness of his blood sweeping into my mouth. His screams fueling me even more, to tear into him.

"Luna!" Gibbs shouted, making his way to me. Only Tony pulled him towards the truck.

"Boss we have to go. We are 100 yards from the Russian border." Tony said.

"We are not leaving her." Gibbs growled.

Tony groaned, grabbing his gun he fired it into the air twice. "Luna!"

I was startled from my frenzy. Seeing what I was doing, I quickly pulled away, glancing at Gibbs and Tony, I ran past them and into the truck. They quickly jumped in, Gibbs tossing me a look. One between worry and confusion. When his hand stretched out to touch me, a growl slipped, causing him to pull back. I was still fueled by the kick he had given me and the kill I had just done. My adrenaline was out the roof and my emotions were haywire. As we arrived at the helicopter, I suppressed my fears. Jumping on, I found a spot under the seats. Not once looking out or opening my eyes. Not once getting near Gibbs or the others. Gibbs refused to go back to NCIS after we landed. Instead he opened the door of his car for me and drove us home. Still anytime he tried to touch me, I would either snap or growl, instead of lashing out, he would simply sigh. I wasn't sure what was exactly wrong with me, but I guess I was just hurt is all. Him doing something like that, was just not something I ever thought he would do. It was going to take some time to get it over with. In the mean time, I just needed some space.
