"A whole week?" Aria responded distraught. "Yeah, you know a normal week, seven days." Ezra answered annoyed.

After Aria had taken Emma back to Ezra's, he asked her to talk while Emma took a bath. Aria quickly found out, this conversation was not going to go her way at all.

"This is a little sudden, I mean you gave me like zero heads up." Aria objected. Instantly, she could see that probably was not the best argument. "Yeah, sorry about that, I would have included my child in my family gatherings, but I didn't realize I had one." Ezra answered in a low tone. It was obvious that he was trying to keep himself calm.

"I know, I'm sorry. It just scares me to think of her off with strangers." Aria tried to explain. "They are her family, they shouldn't be strangers" Ezra retorted. Aria paused, she knew Ezra was right, Emma deserved to know her family. "Can we compromise here?" Aria asked softly.

"What's to compromise?" Ezra asked confused. "I want Emma to meet her family, and I know she would want to go with you" Aria admitted. "But I'm not entirely comfortable sending her off with crap load of Fitzgerald's. I mean I have only meet three of you, but you all lied and schemed." Aria reminded him.

"Emma, is a Fitzgerald" Ezra quickly shot back. "I know that… but if she's going to be in that world, I need to be with her." She said firm.

Ezra sat in silence for a moment. "You want to come with us?" he asked suspiciously. "Yes" Aria defended. "I want to make sure she's okay, I don't know these people."

"You think, I want to just throw her to the wolves?" Ezra asked, aggravated. "No, I don't mean it like that. I'm just saying this situation… it's a lot to take in, and no matter what you feel, she's the outsider. I want to be there…. Just in case she needs me to be." Aria pleaded.

Ezra hated it, but Aria had a point. While he knew his family was already excited to greet Emma with open arms, they were still strangers. He once again filled with anger towards Aria. Not only had she not had a father, but she missed growing up with her cousins, and getting know some of the amazing people in her family.

Still Emma came first, and she might need her mother. "Fine" was all he could manage to say. Aria breathed in. She knew she should be happy with her little victory, but all she felt at this point was sadness. Ezra hated to be around her, and that didn't feel like victory at all.

Standing up to grab her purse and leave, she stopped and turned back toward him. "I know right now, you feel like I'm the worst person in your life. But we both played our parts in ending up here. You can hold onto all that hate, if you choose. But speaking as someone who made a lot of decisions out of anger and betrayal, it only hurt me worse, and Emma."

"I'll pick you up tomorrow at 11:00am" was his only response.

Waking up the next morning Aria was a mixture between excited and nervous. Part of her was looking forward to the three of them spending time together. She knew after sometime Ezra's anger would start to subside, and even if they never got back together, they could still be a family.

Still most of her was very nervous, she knew how this sudden child situation would look to Ezra's family. She was sure they all assumed she was some terrible person. If anyone was going to be thrown to the wolves, it would definitely be her.

She called her boss and explained that she some time off. She thought that he would be upset, but he told her she had more than enough vacation time stacking up, and he thought some time off would be good for her. "It's Memorial weekend, have a good time with your family" he sweetly told her.

Gathering what clothes she had brought with her, she made her way downstairs juggling the three bags she had stuffed completely full. "Here, I made you some coffee" Ella smiled to her daughter as she made her way in to the kitchen. "You're a life saver" Aria smiled at her.

"So what time is Ezra picking you up?" Ella asked cheerfully. "He said 11:00am, so that really means around 10:45 she laughed. "Where exactly are y'all going?" Ella asked. "Umm.. I don't exactly know, all Ezra ever told me about the Fitzgerald's was that side of the family was from down south. I know he bought plane tickets so we won't be driving for hours. Thank God!"

"Well I know you're an adult, and have already made a child with this man, but I'm still going to remind you to behave." Ella smirked. "Please, that's the least of your concerns." Aria said sarcastically. "Ezra is repulsed by me" she almost whined.

"Ezra might be a lot of things towards you, but repulsed if hardly one of them" Ella teased. "You're unbelievable, and don't think for one second that I don't know that you really want me with him" Aria smiled knowingly. "Well see" was Ella's only response.

Just as expected Ezra came pulling up right at 11:45. Emma bounced up the walk way, while Ezra made room in the trunk. "Morning Grandma!" Emma cheered as she entered the house. "Morning love!" Ella called back. "Here come have some toast, while your mother helps your dad load the bags."

Taking her mother's not so subtle que, Aria made her way out the front door and towards Ezra's car. Seeing her struggle, he shook his head, and walked over to take the bags from her. "I guess I should have told you that my family has a beach house down in Georgia, they mostly just wear bathing suits." Ezra said while walking towards the trunk with her bags.

"Oh" Aria said, "Well I packed a few bikini's just in case." She smiled at him, and for almost a split second, he smiled back. "Ezra!" Ella called out. "Come in here and get some food before you leave." "Yes Ma'am" Ezra called back, leaving Aria to enjoy her almost moment alone.

"Be positive Aria, positive things can happen" she reminded herself as she went back into the house with her family.
