"So you three are friends from IRL?" Athanatos asked the obvious having picked up some of the slang from her much younger wife who nodded.
"Greenie there has been my best friend since we were in diapers, she picked the name Eldora after her mother figure back out there." Mia said not needing to specify that by out there she meant out in the real world. Everyone knew what she meant without her having to explain.
"Pinkie joined us a few years later, we were like five years old, and she picked the name Morgana after her mom." Mia said nodding to the pink haired dragon tamer who shrugged her shoulders slightly as she curled into the older woman holding her while her dragon whined a bit when it sensed her less than happy emotions.
"It's the only thing dad can remember about mom. It's strange. He doesn't remember anything else about her, not her birthday or hair color or anything. It's like his memories of her were erased or something." Morgana said looking upset, her two friends and now her wife were the only ones who knew how much she wanted to at least know what her mother looked like. Morgana's dragon began whining louder and purring as it nuzzles her, making her smile and gently stroke its scales.
Mia frowned at this as she shared glances with her two wives, the description sounded like either amnesia or magic. And Mia knew that Klaus did not have amnesia.
"Well now I know what me and the others in the… group are going to be doing when we get out of here." Mia said her eyes narrowing and making Morgana look surprised as she looked up at Mia who looked serious as she thought about something. No one knew she was trying to figure out a way to send a message to the outside world to her friends to try and get the rest of their Army on the case.
Out in the real world
"Tecna organize the others in your squad and look up all data on this Morgana woman immediately. When Bloom gets out of there all she needs to worry about is getting used to being in the real world again, not helping uncover what happened to her sisters mother. Stella be ready to send in your squad if they need backup artillery." Flora immediately ordered the others, the group still spending every free moment they have with their leader and the two still trapped teachers which had been updated to four when they had grabbed the Cloud Tower twins to put them with the others that were trapped.
Of course that had meant that Griffin was coming over more often than before and so were some of her students, most of the ones coming over being part of the Army.
"Yes ma'am!" The rest of the Winx saluted their second in command before those listed left to follow their orders while the teachers sweat dropped a little bit. They would never get used to seeing their students acting like soldiers despite how much they had done so recently. It wasn't a lot of the students really, none of the freshmen or sophomores it seemed outside of the main five, but at least a dozen Juniors and half of the Seniors were in on this and apparently so were quite a few witches and heroes and students from other schools like Black Ocean and Beta.
"I am never going to get used to this." Palladium said eyeing Flora a bit warily and instead just earning one of her normal sweet smiles back in return from the flower fairy.
"Give it a year and you won't even notice it anymore." Faragonda said being the only one of the Alfea teachers not bothered by her rather militaristic acting students. Honestly she had been in more than a few wars when she was younger, she had participated in her first one just after her tenth birthday through no fault of her own. It had been why she was so clumsy and slow during her school time for quite a while, she had been trying to get used to being a civilian again and struggling to cope and hide her soldier side as a few people labeled it.
"After a few months in easy times, hours in war times if you're lucky, then young soldiers or even child soldiers won't bother you at all." Faragonda said wisely earning a grimace and nod from Wizgiz. Out of all of them that were still out in the real world, he was the only other one at Alfea to have faced in a war where child soldiers were common. Grizelda had been shielding the schools, but most of the fighting took place in the trees and forest where Faragonda showed her Guerilla Warfare expertise from her childhood.
Oh Griselda had to fight and even kill some of the enemies child soldiers sure, but nowhere near as many as Faragonda or Wizgiz had. Even the old leprechaun wasn't quite completely used to his students acting like soldiers around him and he was cursing himself for never noticing that something was off with most of the students beforehand.
Faragonda had noticed the rather military like behavior however and was discreetly trying to figure out what was going on but the students were surprisingly loyal to the five leaders. She had been wary about possible use of forced slavery or binding magic but learning the main leader is the charismatic red head? Things made a lot more sense. She was still a bit surprised by how fiercely loyal all of the students in the army were to the red head, and the other Winx Members by default, however.
Griffin had just thought the whole thing hilarious naturally, although even she was a bit surprised at how loyal her students were to a freshman fairy. She was surprised until she saw a few videos that her students had to prove just why they followed Bloom, after seeing those she was hard pressed to deny that she wouldn't follow the red head as well.
"Just like back when the two of us and Saladin were kids huh Fara?" Griffin asked bumping the smaller woman with a small grin on her face and earning a roll of the eyes.
"When we were kids we were in a war that had us using the trees and terrain to our advantage. We didn't really work for just one side and have other comrades." Faragonda said dryly and earning a small hum of acknowledgement from Griffin.
"Oh?" Flora asked looking over at Faragonda and Griffin curiously at this.
"We worked for whichever side paid us the most or was safer for us to be with at the time. Mercenaries pretty much." Griffin explained earning a small hum from Flora who looked at Musa.
"Make a note that I need to speak with Commander Bloom about this information as soon as she's well enough to resume her duties." Flora said earning a nod from Musa who wrote the note down on a loose piece of paper before folding it into an airplane and sending it through the halls with magic.
"Sent the message to Tecna. You know she's better at the secretary thing than I am." Musa said smirking as she turned back to Flora who rolled her eyes but her lips twitched upwards again.
"You do know that they aren't mercenaries anymore right?" Palladium questioned looking warily at the Nature Fairy who merely snorted a bit at that, while Musa broke out in snickers that bordered on cackles. Griffin had no such restraint and just cackled while Faragonda sighed as she looked at Palladium.
The poor elf nearly fainted at his employers words.
"You don't just stop being a mercenary. Once a Merc, always a merc."
