Phobia Arc; Thanatophobia.
John woke up, still in the chair by Sherlock's hospital bed. He rolled his neck, trying and failing to crack the kink out of it. He stretched out his arms as he sat up and turned to look at the Detective who, despite the drugs in his system, was already starting to stir.
The blogger sat stock still, grinning as he saw Sherlock's eyes flickering under his eyelids.
"C'mon, c'mon Sherlock, you can do it, wake up," John whispered gleefully.
As he waited, John thought about everything he had learned about his friend in his Mind Palace.
Now that was certainly interesting. Sherlock had a safe room in his Mind Palace, and that room was a replica of 221B. Furthermore, he felt truly secure when around John, and he admitted it. Who would've ever guessed that the walls of the "high-functioning sociopath" could be nearly demolished by a simple ex-army doctor?
John felt honored to see the real Sherlock Holmes and he bet even Mycroft hadn't seen that side of him before.
A moan came from the bed and John looked over again. Sherlock was thrashing his head around slightly, his face pinched in slight discomfort.
His eyes flickered open and landed on John, who grinned. "Hey Sherlock."
'It's all over,' he thought, relieved.
But it was all just beginning.
A/N Hey! My first 221B! Yay!
So, this is the last of the Thanatophobia arc to be posted on here (finally!). I do, however, have some plans for a separate continuation. I think it's going to be called Blind Trust. Thoughts? Did you like this arc? Do you like the idea of a continuation or have any suggestions for it? Yay or nay for the linked Mind Palaces?
Reviews are very much appreciated! I am very sorry for the recently slow updates.
