SONG RECOMMENDATION: Hair by Little Mix

"Music (that is) heard so deeply that it is not heard at all, but you are the music. While the music lasts."

-T. S. Elliot

Ally's POV:

"Hair?"

"Check," I say.

"Eyeliner?"

"Check," I repeat.

"Lipstick?" Alanna questions again.

"I think we were ready the seven thousand times you asked," Trish shouts at Alanna.

Alanna scoffs with her hands on her hips. "I'm just trying to get you two clowns prepared, Trish." Alanna retorts flopping onto her bed in exhaustion.

She's wearing a pair of gray sweatpants and white crop top. She's going to be staying here while we go to the symphony since I maybe spending the night.

Trish is dressed in a black gown with lace at the top creating beautiful pattern and a slit. Her curly hair is straightened and she's wearing black pumps.

My black dress for the symphony is just a simple black strapless gown. Though it does have a tie at the back that Alanna folded into a perfect bow.

My hair is trimmed to be just past my shoulder and wavy. My lips are a bold rose matte lipstick.

Trish and I are going to the symphony, and will be meeting the boys later on.

Rydel is also at Alanna's house, she's not spending the night but I invited her over. We never really talked much before but since I'm 'dating' her brother and since we're risking our necks for each other I might as well get to know her.

Rydel is wearing black leggings, a white VA hoodie, and a pair of red roshes.

"Well I appreciate you," I smile and falling back on Alanna's chair swing hanging from the ceiling.

Her room is lit. Christmas lights everywhere, fake vines, and flowers are streaming from corners. A fuzzy black carpet, a galaxy print canopy over her Queen size bed, light gray accent walls, and a movie projector.

"I would help but I'm not into the girly girl thing," Rydel says leaning against the door frame.

"It's all good we can always still use your help, plus it's not like those two divas would let me help them." Alanna sasses.

We laugh.

"I bet you'd prefer Rocky's help," Trish teases.

Alanna growls, Rydel and I burst out laughing. "ROCKY!" I laugh, making pouty faces at Alanna.

Alanna nearly kills us. "COME HERE DE LA ROSA AND DAWSON... HEY DON'T YOU DARE LAUGH MOON!' Alanna fumes grabbing her many stuffed animals in the corner and throwing them at us.

We three defenseless girls are trying to dodge Alanna's attempts to smoother us with stuffed animals.

I hide behind Trish, using her as a shield.

"Bitch please!" Trish exclaims and quickly switches places so I am in front. Rydel runs over into the corner with us, trying to avoid a pissed Alanna.

We scream and let her slam the pillow against us a couple of times then we flop down around the room.

I reach under me and grab some weird zebra/unicorn/idk what the hell this is.

"What the even heck is this thing?" I exclaim, holding up her strange stuffed animal.

They laugh. "It looks like a zebra and a pony got a little too friendly and made that," Rydel replies.

"I bet Austin would like it," Alanna giggles, rolling on her stomach making kissy faces at me.

"Haha lame. Not funny," I roll my eyes.

"Whatever, that kiss thooooooo!" Alanna screams falling back on her bed.

"WHAT KISS!" Trish and Rydel yell. My face instantly goes red.

"Oh yeah, when I ran off with Rocky..." Alanna begins.

"ROCKY AND YOU!" Trish and I dramatically scream in interruption, probably waking up Alanna's whole house.

"So are you guys a thing now?" I tease, wiggling my eyebrows.

"That's complicated, I don't even know how friendship stands," Alanna answers nervously.

"But Austin and Ally were heatedly kissing," Alanna switches from nervous to fangirl.

"It was not that heated," I cross my arms.

Alanna scoffs, "Gurl bye, you guys were practically devouring each others mouth." This time I don't object, going red.

"Everyone has a man but me," Trish whines, pouting playfully.

"There's Dez?" Alanna giggles. My jaw drops and I expect Trish to look the same, but she seems to be contemplating.

"You guys and your boyfriends," Rydel jokes still laughing on the floor

"AUSTIN IS NOT MY BOYFRIEND!" I scream.

"ROCKY IS NOT MY BOYFRIEND!" Alanna screams.

"DEZ IS SURE AS HELL IS NOT MY BOYFRIEND!" Trish screams in unison with us.

Rydel rolls her eyes and laughs. While the girls continue to tease each other, I decide it's about time to text my 'actual' boyfriend whom I've been ignoring.

From Ally: Hey

From Elliot: Hey babe wyd

From Ally: I'm hanging out with my girls. HBU?

From Elliot: Nun just chilln home... wanna hang out later?

From Ally: I would really like to, but I'm going to be busy.

From Elliot: No, I want to be w/ you tonite

From Ally: I said I'm busy and I'm suppose to be mad at you, remember?

From Elliot: What happened at school was pointless, I'm sorry for gettn inna fight

From Ally: I'm still mad at you.

From Elliot: See me tonite and I swear I'll make it up to you

From Ally: I don't think you understand the concept of being busy.

I send the message but I get no reply. Is he really just going to assume that I drop everything I have planned to hang out with him?

I'm still mad at him. Elliot and his friends caused this mess, and while the gang and I are doing community service they aren't in trouble.

I haven't seen him in a while though, and he is my real boyfriend. I adore him, we're Elliot and Ally, we belong together. The whole school pushed us together, it's how things are suppose to be.

I think...

But Elliot does have a sweet side. He tells me his problems and worries even though he may seem like a concrete wall, and I love him for that. The connection we have is amazing, I'm the only one he can come to.

I love him, or at least that's how everyone wants me to feel.

Dez's POV:

"Rydel just texted," Austin announces, reading a text, "They'll be here any minute!"

I nod, the sooner we make a fool of those people the better. I always hated Austin's parents, and I've told him that. I usually don't feel strongly about things but I have a strong disgust for those people, even with Ally's parents.

At the thoughts of Austin's dad my eyes shift down to his arm.

"Would you quit Dez? I'm fine!" Austin yells, looking from his arm to me. I give him a face and roll my eyes.

I turn around and fasten my cuff links, to avoid him.

"I'm sorry bud, I just don't want you to draw attention to it. Especially around... certain people," Austin says in shame.

I shake my head, "Listen Austin, that isn't an it, your goddamn dad freaking h...!"

"It's not like you would understand!" Austin interrupts me. His voice doesn't stop me, the vulnerability in his eyes does. And I know Austin hates feeling vulnerable.

"Your parents are perfect, your home is perfect, the only thing bad about your life is you're a freak!" Austin eyes go wide, and he covers his mouth, but it's too late, he said what he said.

I frown, "I just want happy Austin back." I want to say more but do I really need to, all of the pain is already written across his face.

He looks sorry. "Just don't tell the girls, okay." Austin says, not giving a response to my statement.

He holds out his hand and we fist pump like brother because that's what we are.

Trish's pink car pulls up beside us. Austin playfully nudges me as we walk to the car.

Alanna and Rydel are in the front seat chatting away as we help Ally and Trish in the back.

With my first look at Trish I'm stunned. I take Trish's hand in mine as I help her onto the curb.

"You look dazzling," I stumble over my words, still gawking.

Her face goes red, and I wonder why? Is she sick? Is it hot out here? I hope she's not catching something!

"You ready to jump on the love boat with your exclusive Captain Dez," I ramble because I'm nervous. Austin and Ally laugh, Trish scoffs and yanks her arm back.

"Ever say that again and your love boat's next destination will be off a cliff," Trish threatens.

I cringe and she laughs which, in the end, makes me happy.

"STOP FLIRTING, YOU'RE DISGUSTING!" Alanna screams in the car.

"Evening gorgeous," Austin teases playfully at Alanna, wrapping an arm around Ally's tiny waist. Alanna gives him two air kisses and starts giggling.

Honestly, I used to question their 'friendship' but in the end Alanna is Dallas' girlfriend (well ex-girlfriend) and Austin wouldn't.

"Your friends and you are just alike Moon... fuckboys," Alanna jokes and all of the girls laugh.

I wonder if I should tell her that her new attraction, Rocky, is also a fuckboy...

"What are you guys gonna do once we go?" I ask, grabbing Trish's hand out of need.

"Rocky just might, maybe, probably come over a little later," Alanna answers, trying to bite back her smile.

"AWWWWWW!" Ally and Trish make eye contact and coo.

"So you and my younger brother, huh?" Austin teases, raising his eyebrows at Alanna.

"Your 'younger brother' is older than me," She rebounds. Austin crosses his arms and laughs.

"I don't want any comments out of your mouth, Dawson!" She shouts right before she speeds off.

"YOU BETTER BE DAMN CAREFUL WITH MY CAR!" Trish screams.

"Guys are you ready? Our parents are here," Austin tells us.

We look at each other, ready or not I guess. I link with Trish and start toward the auditorium with Austin and Ally trailing.

People are scattered, in satin and silks, sparkling like the stars they are. My hands are sweaty and I hope Trish doesn't notice.

She looks over to me and smiles, my heart thumps so loudly in my chest that I swear she can hear it. She looks stunning.

"The Blue Danube Waltz" by Johan Strauss II softly plays in the background as we make our way into the building.

Do any of you guys watch The Flash... no reason, just asking.
