"Wally, we need to talk." Kuki opened the door to the room, only to find it empty. "Wally?" She asked. The bed was perfectly made and the room was neat in an organized manner. She looked around slowly before she noticed a small blonde boy in the corner, he was shaking like a frightened mouse. Her eyes widened and being herself she was naturally worried. She walked over and crouched down. "E-Excuse, can I help you?" She asked. "Are you okay?" She asked. She felt something warm and wet pool around her feet and looked down to see a yellow substance...she made a look of utter disgust before noticing the boy was looking at her with a wild look of terror in his eyes. Did he PEE because he was...scared? What the hell? Kuki tried to shake off the feeling of disgust and instead chose to attempt and comfort the boy. "Wh-What's your name?" She asked. "Are you hurt? Can you talk?" She began to speak faster, louder, bolder. She was curious and anxious to find out.

"P-p-p-p-p-p-please don't h-h-h-h-hurt me." The boy squeaked out, spinning around and backing even more into the corner, where a darkness seemed to be growing. Kuki's eyes widened again. Why would she hurt him? She didn't even KNOW him, but now her worry grew.

"I won't. I promise." She added with a small smile.

"I-I want my mum." The boy said, keeping his voice soft and Kuki noticed a faint...accent. And slowly she recognized the boy, but she could quite place the face with a name. That was if she even knew him...he just looked awful familiar.

"Who's your mom? What's her name? Does she work in this building?" Kuki asked, she must've been speaking too loud, for the boy screamed and backed away. He inched more into the dark void known as the corner. "Wait, don't go in there!" Kuki reached out for him, ignoring the splash of urine underneath her.

"Stay away from me." The boy murmured.

"I just want to help." Kuki said, her panic rising to extremes. He would disappear into the corner if she didn't grab him.

"Stay away from me." He spoke louder now. Kuki frowned.

"Get back here!" She called loudly. It must have set him off, he began to scream at the top of his lungs.

"Stay away from me!" He called. "STAY AWAY FROM ME! STAY AWAY FROM ME! STAY AWAY FROM ME!" He shouted.

"I don't want to hurt you!" Kuki called, following him into the corner. She was pulled into the darkness and she couldn't see anything. She turned around in panic, she couldn't see anything! Did the light turn off? Was the window covered? The boy's screams bounced around in her head. They got louder and louder and it never ended. Where was she? Was she even in the room anymore?! "STOP!" She shrieked.

Silence.

"P-Please..." A whimper. Kuki looked around and noticed a soft blue glow in the near distance.

"Huh?" She wondered. She slowly crawled towards it and found the boy, curled up in a fetal position. He was shaking and sobbing. "Kid." She said, moving to put her arms around him, what was UP with this child anyway. He looked around the age of 7...he looked so innocent. She made mental notes that he was wearing pajamas. Why? "What's wrong?" She murmured into his small blonde hairs. He didn't respond and Kuki only heard his sobs get louder as they racked his body. She moved back.

"I'm a...monster." The boy said. He looked up at Kuki, but didn't allow her to let go. "I'm a monster." He repeated. "I'm going to die." He whispered. Kuki's eyes bulged. What had he just said? Why was a youth of his age saying such things? That was wrong! What was going through his head? What had influenced him to the point that he thought he was destined to die? Who were his parents? Kuki looked at his face. Bright green eyes looked back at her, clear blue-ish streams of tears ran down his pink cheeks. His little nose sniffled and Kuki bit her lip to keep from crying. "I'm going to die." He said. "And it's going to be soon. Very soon. You can't stop it from happening, I'm sorry." He whispered.

"Wh-Why are you going to die?" Kuki choked out, almost hating herself from daring to ask.

"Because I'm a monster." He said. "And I'm going to die." He curled back up, letting go of Kuki's arms.

"You're not a monster." She said softly, then she noticed...the crying had stopped. She looked at the blonde, curled up and hiding his face. She furrowed her eyebrows. Now what was he up to? She leaned closer to get a view. "You're not a monster." She said again. "You aren't going to die." She tried her best to reassure the obviously traumatized boy.

"I'm a monster." He stood up, facing away from her. "And you're a liar." When he turned around, Kuki's stomach lurched. Dry blood under his fingertips, streams of tears had turned to thick blood pouring from his eyeless sockets, a pair of safety scissors in his right hand and a stuffed kangaroo in the other. Kuki's heart beat wildly and she backed away slowly and fumbled for a non existent object behind her. The boy opened his mouth and blood began to poor out. Kuki tried to scream, but couldn't. Her voice was gone, there was no sound. He raised his safety scissors. "I'm a monster." He said, swinging his arm towards her face, swinging the scissors to her eye. "And I'm going to die."

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

Kuki stared at her ceiling, her heart was racing too fast for it to be healthy. Her right hand held over one of her eyes, in fear that it had been stabbed was soaked with sweat and her hands were twitching, extremely clammy. She would swallow, but her heart was in her throat and her mouth was as dry as the desert. Her eyes watered, but she couldn't blink. If she closed her eyes she would see his face and quite frankly...she didn't want to see his face.

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

"Kuki, wake up sweetie." Her mother called. Kuki wanted to frown, but she didn't have the energy. In fact she was too scared to go to work. She worked for the CPT and she didn't even know it. She worked for the people who took Wally in and refused to give him the treatment he actually needed. Kuki rolled over and slammed her hand on her alarm clock. It was getting quite annoying to be honest. She sluggishly got dressed and didn't bother to grab her cell phone, not like she would need it anyway. She was working the late shift, remember? Which of her friends would be up as late as to text her at those hours. She swallowed and opened her door. The hallway seemed to stretch out and get longer, she felt dizzy. She needed answers. She needed them now. "Here's your bagel, dear." Her mother handed Kuki the small bread. Kuki shook her head, she wasn't hungry. In fact her mouth tasted of blood. She grimaced and got into the passenger's side of the vehicle. Her mom started up the car and they began the 30 minute ride to the Asylum. It had been almost 20 minutes before either of them spoke. "You're quiet today." Her mom stated. Kuki swallowed and felt bile in her throat. She didn't respond and so her mother's grip on the steering wheel tightened. She inwardly sighed.

"I'm tired. I'm always tired." She said.

"Can you handle you job?" Her mother asked. "I heard you changed wards and...it had been immediately after patient 3879 had been transferred." She left room for Kuki to respond, but her daughter didn't let out a squeak. "Care to explain?" She pushed on. "I told you to stay away from him, and so did she. By stepping up to he you put both your job AND my job on the line." Her mother snapped. "I do not approve of your recent behavior Kuki, so stay away from that patient I feel as if you're being rebellious." She said. Kuki rolled her eyes and ignored her mother. The asylum came into view. "Don't ignore me, Kuki!" Her mother yelled.

"I'm not, I'm trying to focus on my job." Kuki snapped unintentionally. She froze, her mother's eyes narrowed.

"You're grounded." Her mother hissed.

"Nice to know." Kuki hissed back, letting her anger out. "Sometimes I wish that I was patient 3879 and that I had killed you!" Kuki shouted, slamming the door and storming into the building. The receptionist raised an eyebrow at the look of anger displayed on the young girl's face. Kuki shoved open the door to the stairwell, feeling as if RUNNING up the staircase would help her blow off steam. She knew there would be consequences for her actions, but now was not the time to worry about those. She had a good few hours before she would face the wrath of her wicked mother. She scowled at the thought and shoved a door open. She marched down the hallway to the nurse's station and shoved the door open.

Jessica raised one of her delicate little eyebrows and watched as Kuki stormed to the other side of the nurse's station. Kuki angrily yanked the drawer open and ripped the files from their safe haven. She tossed them on the counter and began to go through them in a quick manner.

"Sorry to interrupt your little search, but Wallabee was moved to a new station and SO were his files." Jessica said calmly, but Kuki could hear the slight anger and irritation in her tone." Kuki ignored the girl and riffled through the files still. "Hey, MISS I'M TOO GOOD TO LISTEN TO JESSICA! THIS ISN'T YOUR STATION ANYMORE! BECAUSE APPARENTLY I'M A BETCH AND YOU DON'T WANT TO BE MY ASSISTANT ANYMORE!" Jessica yelled. Kuki bit her lip. Jessica was mad because she had switched stations? She...missed her? Jessica panted and Kuki found the right file, looking over the information quickly. She nimbly put the files back in order and put them in the cabinet. She shut it and turned to the door. She was still irritated, but also confused.

"I-I didn't make the switch because of you." She whispered. Jessica could only glare. "I did it for him." She stepped into the hallway.

"Why are you so infatuated with him!?" Jessica yelled. "He's crazy don't you get it? You think you're making a break through, well I'm sorry to tell you that you aren't. He's a sick and twisted weirdo who killed his parents at age 7, Kuki. It'd be best if you gave up before you lose your own sanity." Jessica snapped. Kuki bit her lip.

"You wouldn't understand." She whispered, letting the door shut behind her.

"Why hello Miss Kuki. What have I done to be blessed with your presence?"

"Look Adam, I don't have time for you-!"

"You seem mad." The 11-year-old assumed.

"Stop messing with my freaking mi-!"

"I'm not messing with your mind, I assure you that." Adam corrected her. Kuki growled. She slammed her fist on the desk against the wall and Adam eyed her with interest. His face completely innocent. Kuki growled. She remembered when she had met this kid.

"Hey, kiddo." Kuki said, still cautiously keeping her distance. "What's your name?" She asked. The boy looked up at her and grinned a lopsided grin.

"Adam." He smiled. "Adam Johnson." He added.

"Cool," Kuki sat down on the floor-rooted chair and eyed the boy. "I'm Kuki, Kuki Sanban, I'm 16. How old are you?" She asked. Adam thought about it.

"11." He said.

"Wow, you're not that much younger than myse-."

"You think I'm crazy, right?" Adam cut her off. Kuki's eyes widened as she looked to him. What had he just said? His face held a look of pure innocence, as if he hadn't ever asked the weird question in the first place. Kuki's jaw dropped, while she racked her brain for an answer. "You don't have to lie." Adam continued. "I'm 11, not stupid." He stated. "But everyone thinks I'm dangerous, that's why I'm here...right?" He asked curiously.

"Well I don't wanna off-."

"You won't offend me." He said. Kuki's eyes twitched.

"Are you rea-?"

"No, I'm not reading you're mind. But that'd be cool. That's like a super power or something. Super powers don't exist. Heroes don't exist. Cause if they did I wouldn't be here." Adam said, his face serious.

"Dude, how are you-!"

"I'm just guessing. You're actions and you're personality reflect it all, I can just assume correctly what you're going to say next...just from what you've been showing me." He said.

She had been so foolish back then, but now she needed answers and if anyone could get them for her it was this kid. She frowned, she obviously wasn't in the mood to be nice and cheerful. She would have to be blunt and straight forward.

"Tell me, patient 3854." She said. "You're in this ward and not the psychological one. THIS ward is ONLY for the dangerous patients." As Kuki said this, Adam's pupils grew smaller and a small frown found it's way onto his face. Kuki knew at once that she had hit a tight string, she had went on the topic that Adam never thought she would figure out. "This is a DANGEROUS ward." Kuki hissed out.

"Warning: Highly Unstable Homicidal Patients...Maximum Security." Kuki read aloud. Her eyes widened...unstable? No, cut that, HIGHLY unstable? Kuki snorted, there was no way in HELL that she was going through that door.

"Why is an 11 year old child like you in this ward?" She asked. Adam stared at her, carefully planning his next few words. Then he did the unthinkable...he shrugged.

"I have no-."

"Idea?" Kuki's eyes narrowed. Adam smiled again.

"I have no clue." He corrected her, he could practically see Kuki's vein bulging in her forehead and he literally see the steam escaping from her ears.

"Well obviously something happened in the psychological department, because according to your file...you were transferred from there...to here." Kuki said in a calm voice...Adam didn't like the calm voice.

"I have no idea what you're talking about." Adam said. "Especially with this medication they have us patients on, how are we supposed to remember anything?" He asked, still keeping up his innocent facade. Kuki tried to not get aggravated so easily. She opened her mouth to respond, but... "Besides, I'm not supposed to tell anyone what happened in that place...the things they did." He whispered, a small shudder running through his body. And bingo, Kuki found her ticket in.

"What did they do?" She leaned closer.

"Are you deaf? I cannot tell you." Adam frowned.

"Why not?"

"She told me I can't."

"She?"

"My...My therapist." Adam said softly. Therapist? Could it be the same therapist that Wally had?

"Well, you can tell ME." Kuki said, trying to slip in a bit of friendliness. "I'm a nurse, I need to know information to help you." She said honestly.

"No, your job is to give me medication and actually you aren't my nurse, you were moved to a new ward."

"H-How did you-?"

"She told me so." Adam narrowed his eyes and glared a Kuki.

"Who is SHE?" Kuki asked. Adam ignored her.

"You shouldn't be talking to me. I can hurt you Kuki." Adam spoke faster and raised his voice. "You said it yourself." He stood up and stepped forwards. "I'm dangerous."

"I'm a monster."

Kuki shrieked suddenly. She felt a weird wave of unusual panic flood through her system and turned around pounding on the door. She slammed her fists over and over again, jiggling the knob. She could hear Adam as he walked closer to her. She spun around and motioned at the camera. "JESSICA! HELP ME!" She shrieked. "GET AWAY!" She kicked at Adam and turned to the door. She pounded harder and harder, kicking the door. "GET ME OUT OF HERE!" She yelled. "HELP!" She felt Adam grab her shoulder. "NO!"

"Kuki, what the hell?" Jessica stared in a mixture of fear and disgust at the girl. 2 security guards were in the room.

"G-Get me away from him." Kuki grabbed Jessica's leg and stared at Adam...who was sitting on the bed...a look of pure innocence on his face.

"Kuki, what's wrong with you?" Jessica asked, a bit of worry sneaking in. Kuki ignored her.

"He's...He's dangerous."

"Why were you in here?" Jessica wondered aloud. The security guards continued to eye the 11-year-old on the bit. His legs were crossed and his eyes were blank. "We're good." Jessica motioned for them to leave.

"Miss Jessica?" The girl turned to look at the boy, she didn't speak. "Is Miss Kuki going to be okay?" He asked. Jessica didn't respond, only looking at the boy further before helping Kuki from the room. The door slammed behind them and Adam stared at the door. "I guess that means no." He said to himself.

"Wakey wakey, sleepy head." Kuki groaned and looked over at Jessie. Her partner smiled brightly and Kuki could only groan. "You fell asleep." She said.

"Wh-Where am I?" Kuki wondered. Jessie raised an eyebrow.

"At work?" She said. "You had some freak out earlier, around 3 hours ago? Ring a bell? Anyway you passed out and they put in the infirmary, our current setting, and I got here like 5 minutes ago. I was worried, ya know. It's not every day a nurse passes out for no reason." Kuki's brain was slow and took a good 5 minutes to process the information.

"Ugh..." She groaned. "What time is it?"

"7 o'clock." Jessie looked at her watch. Kuki groaned. It was Friday so she only had an hour left. She attempted to sit up and felt blood rush to her head. "Woah there, slow down. The Big B said it was okay if you rest for the rest of your shift. By the way you left something open on the computer yesterday." She said. Kuki winced at the thought. "Luckily I don't dig into other's things and I closed it down for you, making sure to clear the history. Kuki smiled thankfully.

"Thanks." She smiled.

"But just so you know," Kuki blood ran cold through her body. "You can't access those files. We nurses can't get into those files. Security guards can't even get into those files, only the secretary downstairs can...oh and our manager of course, but if you want to read those files, you're going to need to need one of those computers. Though our manager most likely wouldn't let you get into her computer, God knows what she has on that thing. Though I don't understand the secretary too much because I'm not too close with her. So you'll have to see if she'll give you access to those files." Jessie stood up and stretched, enjoying the sound of multiple cracks in her back. She loved that sound, though Kuki was a bit disgusted. "Well there is a THIRD option." Jessie remembered. "Security guards can't get you into the CPT files, but they CAN get you into the Cleveland Psychology Team headquarters."

"Headquarters?" Kuki asked.

"CPT central?" Jessie said. "Ring a bell? You were researching it yesterday." She said.

"Oh." Kuki said. "They can get me in?"

"Well technically only THEY can get in, but they might be able to...I dunno." Jessie shrugged. "Just thought I'd shed some light on you." She said with a small smile. "I like helping people." Jessie said softly. "It's what I do best." Kuki smiled at her friend and nodded. Jessie went back up to the nurse's station and continued to work on her shift, but Kuki laid back into the soft cushions and decided to spend her last hour resting...she needed it.

"You're not understanding." Wally whispered.

"What?" Kuki asked.

"You can't understand what you're trying to get into." Wally shook his head. "It's bad, Kuki."

"What are you talking about?" Kuki asked, stepping closer to the blonde boy. "Wally, I'm trying to help you!" She called out. "I want you safe, I-I...I love you." She whispered.

"You can't love me." He whispered.

"But-...I do." She said, her cheeks a soft pink.

"You can't love me...You can't love a monster."
