The retro van finally came out of the lushes green forest and came into a prairie. Double Dee looked at his side mirror and sighed in relief.

"Eddy you can slow down now, we lost them"

"Are you sure Double Dee?" asked Ed.

"Yes Ed I'm absolutely sure we lost them" replied Double Dee.

"Yeah Ed, We lost those slow poke's with this van" said Eddy.

"I wonder who was that man driving that truck though" wondered Double Dee.

"Who care's about that person. All that matters is, we reach Chicago before those losers catch us" said Eddy.

Eddy then pushed the automatic driver button. Eddy put his hands behind his back and leaned back in his seat while the van drove itself.

"Eddy, what are you doing?" asked double Dee.

"I'm going to catch a few z's. Don't wake me up unless something big happens" replied Eddy.

"Okay Eddy" said Double Dee.

Eddy soon drifted to sleep and snored loudly.

"Why is Eddy making those growling noises, Double Dee?" asked Ed.

"Oh dear Ed, Eddy is not growling. He is just snoring" replied Double Dee.

"Do I snore Double Dee?" asked Ed.

"Yes Ed you do snore quit loudly" answered Double Dee.

"Cool that means I am snore man!" screamed Ed.

Eddy's shoe then hit Ed in the face.

"Quite bone head. I'm trying to sleep!" yelled Eddy.

"Eddy careful where you throw stuff. You nearly hit Ed's scar's" said Double Dee.

"Well excuse me doctor, I just wanted get some sleep" argued Eddy.

Eddy rolled to the side pointing his back to Double Dee. Double Dee sighed and turned to Ed.

"Ed, I think it's wise if we keep our voice's down" said Double Dee.

"Okay Double Dee" replied Ed. Ed then grabbed his lips and zipped them shut.

"That's good Ed" said Double Dee.

Double Dee then got a book out of his pocket and started to read it.

Outside the van moved onward through the land.

"Eddy, wake up"

"Huh, what's going on?" Said Eddy as Double woke him up.

"Eddy, I got new's" said Double Dee in excitement.

"What's the new's?" asked Eddy.

"Where on a road" replied Double Dee.

"Where on a what?" asked Eddy.

"Where on a road Eddy. Where car's and big shinny truck drive on" answered Ed.

"So what, it's just a stupid road" said Eddy.

"Eddy, don't you see according to this map. This road leads straight towards Chicago" replied Double Dee.

"No fooling" said Eddy.

"Yes Eddy and according to the map. It will take us about ten hours to get there" said Double Dee.

"YES! Where going to make it" said an excited Eddy.

Unknown to the Eds though. The van had past a warning sign that said.

"Warning weak road. Will collapse into ground if a car/van is on it"

Inside the van Eddy had turned on the radio in excitement and turned it to the Beatles "A hard days night song."

"I didn't know you liked the Beatles Eddy" said a surprise Double Dee.

"Yeah, I love the Beatles Double Dee, They rock" said Eddy.

"Hey guys look the road collapsing " said Ed as he saw the road collapse in front of them.

Eddy and Double Dee screamed and attempted to stop the van. But it was to late the van fell into the collapse hole and went into a free fall. Finally the van crashed into a cave floor hard which knocked the Ed's out cold.
