Naruto held onto Hinata, aware that she had passed out though he kept on drinking her blood. It was as if he felt himself coming back to life in a sense. At least, if you could call his way of living a real life. As he drank Hinata's life's blood, he could see the memories that had ever gone through her mind. The times when she was a child, when she was happy with her mother, the day her little sister was born… The days when Hinata would sing with her mother to the times when she would wake up in tears from nightmares and rush to her parent's room for some kind of protection.

The memories that got to him the most though, were the ones of when Hinata's mother passed away. He could feel her pain, her heart ache. Naruto knew that she was in a great amount of pain from the time her mother passed away though he had a feeling that it was just the kind of pain that would never go away no matter how much you want it to…

Naruto held onto Hinata little more as if he was afraid to let her go, thinking that if he let go of her, that she was fade from his arms. From his life… Naruto didn't know how much more he could keep seeing Hinata's memories, but he felt that he wanted to see more, to see and learn everything he could about Hinata. To know, if she was truly happy with him in her life.

Soon, her memories had gone to the time when they had first met. Naruto had no idea just how scary he had been to her. Sure, he knew that she was scared when they first met but, to see himself like that? It was enough to make his own skin crawl at the very thought of it.

The memories flashed to when Hinata would go on stage, to how she would seem so scared to be up there, to how the songs that she would sing would reflect some memory in her life, or would hold some kind of deep meaning for her. The blonde vampire didn't know what he should do, what he should feel when he would see himself in her memories, like when she first saw him in his human disguise and was rather confused when he saw her.

In a way, he almost chuckled at the memory, of her confusion and shock. The memories flashed to how scared she had been when she had about to be raped. So much fear had entered her heart that he felt like he, himself, had been scared for his very life. In fact, Naruto never remembered a time when he had been that scared… The more he saw her memories, the more Naruto wanted to stop drinking her blood but he couldn't stop… he had to see more, he had to see more of her memories.

The time when she woke up after her almost-rape-attack, Naruto noticed that she wasn't scared waking up in a new place. Rather, she was calm, and… happy to see him there. Naruto never felt so… wanted before. Not even by his old lover, she would only spend a small amount of time with him then she would take off. But Hinata… she tried to spend as much time with him as she could.

Tightly shutting his eyes, Naruto allowed more of her memories to pour into him… Soon, he saw the times of her date with that bastard, how disgusted she felt when he was implying to go to and have 'fun' so to speak. Oh how Naruto wanted to bite his head off and drain him dry but knew, that wasn't the real man himself but someone pretending to be him.

Taking a deep breath, Naruto soon saw the memories of when Hinata took him to the museum to find more about his past. Of how concerned she had been for him, how she wondered how he would react to when he would learn of his past. Thinking that maybe he had a bad past, if he had a good past and how badly he had wanted to remember. And then, the memory shifted to when she had gone to see if he was okay after the visit… Naruto felt a new emotion finding its way to his chest, it was warm, comforting… something he hadn't felt for so long and yet, it was so much stronger…

Coming out of Hinata's memories, Naruto pulled back from her and licked the bites closed as he stared at her sleeping face. Her breathing was a little slow though she was sound asleep. Could he risk that for her? No, he… he had… to… wake her...

Before he knew it, darkness started to edge his vision and Naruto slowly started to black out, the last thing he felt was the cold floor on his neck and holding Hinata in his arms.

Naruto stood in the middle of a field with his parents fighting another enemy a bit further away. He knew that this was how it was to go down. Danzo, a man that had once been a trusted ally, had betrayed the village so he could gain an unstoppable power and now that he had part of his plan down, Naruto knew that he had to deal with this himself. As leader of his village, it was his duty to take this ass down.

Narrowing his blue eyes, Naruto growled for a moment as he got ready to call upon the powers that he held deep within himself. Taking a deep breath, Naruto knew that this was risky, but at the moment he didn't have a choice, it was the only choice that he had.

Taking a deep breath, the young leader grabbed a kunai from his pouch that was wrapped around his orange clad thigh held it up as he prepared himself to fight and kick some serious ass. "Get your ass out here Danzo! I know you're out there! You have to face your trial and jury at my hands this time after killing those innocent villagers!" shouted Naruto, his spiky blonde locks waving gently in the breeze, as did his long orange and black jacket.

A tall slender man with bandages wrapped around his forehead and covered the right side of his face appeared out of the trees. His brown hair was spiked at the top and his chin had an X shaped scar that gave Naruto the idea that he had been a ninja, though not a sloppy one in his day. His clothes were that of a white shirt with a dark robe that started from his feet and making its way up his body to cover his right arm and shoulder.

"Now Naruto, don't you see? I'm only trying to gain power to protect the village." Said the old man with a small smile. A smile, that made Naruto want to vomit though instead it only fuelled his rage for this man. For the first time in his whole life, Naruto had never wanted to kill this man as much as he had wanted at this very moment.

Growling, Naruto felt his power start to unlock itself as red energy started to form around him in what seemed like a cloud of red. Though for now, he still had some kind of control over himself. "Did that also have to involve killing women and children!? Huh!? You could have gained power in other ways Danzo but instead you had to kill innocent lives to get what you wanted!" shouted Naruto before he charged at the old man with his kunai.

Though, Danzo just merely stepped away from the attack, only to hiss when Naruto twisted his body around and slashed the kunai to hit his face. Danzo staggered back a bit and just turned his head to stare at the blonde leader before he smirked. "I can see why you were chosen to be Hokage Naruto… not just because you were Minato's son, but because of your skill."

"Yeah, and I'll use this skill to kill you! Believe it!" shouted Naruto

Danzo just smirked for a moment; it was as if he had something planned. Something that Naruto didn't want to see or deal with though he knew that he had to hurry up and finish this before Danzo could call out for his plan. Whatever that may be, he was going to kill this son of a bitch before he could hurt anyone else. Pulling out another kunai, Naruto rushed forward once more as he swung the weapons at the old man, and of course he would throw in some kicks in the hopes to killing this bastard.

The red energy that was forming around him started to grow in power, forming the outline of a long eared fox with nine tails swishing behind him. Danzo on the other hand, just smiled at the sight that was before him. Naruto growled all the more as his once blue eyes started to seep and turn red with black slits. This was going to be the end of this monster.

Rushing forward, dropping the kunai the young man held out his hand behind him as copy of himself appeared in a puff of smoke and started to move his hands around in some kind of half circles over the original's open palm. With the motion, a ball of swirling blue light started to form. Its power was incredible, and it was just what the young man needed to beat this man. "Rasengan!" shouted Naruto as he rushed forward and slammed the swirling sphere into the man's chest. A big grin was on his face at the thought of winning this fight, only for him to stare in shock…

The man had disappeared in a puff of smoke causing Naruto to stand where the old man once stood. Looking around the area, he tried to find the old man with a skill that only he knew. It was rare for anyone to have this talent but Naruto figured it was because he was a special case. Closing his eyes, he tried to find the negative emotions that the man would carry; thinking that he once again, had this old man beat.

Growling a little more, Naruto tried to think on where the old man could have gone, but he couldn't detect him. How was that even possible? Opening his now blue eyes, he tried to sense him using the other methods. There was no way that he could hide everything from him…

Suddenly, Naruto felt pain in his side, eyes wide and for a brief moment, Naruto felt like his mind had gone blank. Howling in pain he fell over onto his side and hissed softly as he looked up through his eyes of pain. This can't be happening, he had to keep fighting… he had to keep fighting this guy so he could kill Danzo and bring justice to those who had died an unjust death. "How does it feel Naruto? To have lost a fight for the first time?" said Danzo as he appeared next to an unknown man.

Breathing heavily, Naruto gritted his teeth as he tried to get the pain to stop, even with his fast healing abilities, he couldn't help but feel the rage burning in his body. No, this battle wasn't done yet. He still had a chance to kick some serious ass right now.

Jumping up onto his feet, his hand tightly gripping his side as he tried to get the bleeding to stop until it had healed. Looking up at the two men, Naruto turned his gaze onto the man next to Danzo. He was tall, taller than Danzo, his hair was a bit shaggy and of course it was dark as the night, maybe black as coal. His clothes were of course black tights with grey padding on his shoulders, chest, back, and of course his thighs. It was the natural outfit for the top ranking ninja group in the village the Anbu.

But what bothered him, was the man's appearance… or, more accurately his face. The man's skin was ghostly white; his eyes were a deep crimson around normal black pupils. Tilting his head to the side, Naruto didn't know how this man could have such pale skin or even red eyes without having demonic abilities but at the moment he didn't care about that.

"Ah, Naruto, have you met my latest test subject Kuro? I had heard of the kind of power humans could get if they were… changed into creatures that haven't been seen for hundreds of years. After so many failed test subjects I have found it… the key to keeping this village safe… I have brought back vampires!" shouted Danzo with a dark laugh.

"You're insane! Vampires aren't real Danzo!" shouted Naruto as his wound had finally healed. This couldn't be possible, there was no way anyone could have created vampires, it just didn't seem possible. Narrowing his eyes, Naruto rushed forward while creating clones of himself, he had to beat these guys before they started to cause any kind of trouble.

"Kuro, finish Naruto and… turn him." Danzo said cruelly. Hearing that it made Naruto's skin crawl at what he had said. Whatever that meant, he wasn't going to let it happen. He was going to kill this man before anything else. Pulling out a scroll, Naruto made a sword appear, allowing his chakra to form around it to make it sharper and of course stronger.

Holding the swords hilt tightly in his hand, Naruto swung his arm downward, hoping to bring down this monster that Danzo had created. Though it seemed that Kuro was stronger than he appeared. For the black haired man grabbed the chakra blade in his hand and snapped the blade in half. Naruto stared in shock before he backed away. It seemed that chakra didn't work on him, whatever he is. Oh wait, Danzo called him a vampire.

Narrowing his eyes, the young blonde haired Hokage rushed forward once more, his Rasengan formed once more in his hand, though it didn't stay small. Rather, it grew to the size of Naruto's height. "Prepare to die!" shouted Naruto as he threw it at the vampire hoping that it would shred his body. Though now that Naruto thought about it, he saw that Kuro was in the sunlight. Don't vampires burn up in the sunlight?

As soon as the Rasengan hit its mark, the vampire just dusted himself off when the dust had started to clear. Smirking, Kuro walked toward Naruto, causing the young man to back up in shock. Chakra didn't work on him!? But how?! Chakra worked on anything that was alive and-wait… vampires aren't alive, they're the walking dead.

"Give up Naruto… you cannot beat me." Said Kuro with a smirk before he suddenly zipped and appeared in front of Naruto and held him by his throat and pinned him to the tree. Smirking, Kuro laughed as he said "who would have thought that I would get to not only drink the blood of the Hokage, but to turn him as well…"

Naruto grabbed at Kuro's wrist, hoping to break free. Though it seemed that no matter what he tried, he couldn't loosen the vampires grip from his throat. "Wh… Why are you doing this Danzo?" said Naruto, trying to break free of this iron grip.

"Simple Naruto… you, yourself are a powerful ninja and even became the leader of the village. Though, I think you could become even more powerful and since vampires tend to listen to those who created them, you'll end up listening to Kuro, who'll take orders from me." Smirked Danzo before he turned to Kuro. "Now, turn him!" shouted the old man.

"But first… I have to do this…" said Kuro before he threw a sword at Danzo, stabbing him right in the head. Naruto stared at him with wide eyes, unable to comprehend what had just happened. Kuro killed his own master, but… no, this can't be happening! This can't be happening! "Now… I will be the one to rule over Konoha. You will do as I say no matter what Naruto…" said Kuro before he started to laugh like a mad man.

"No! I would never take orders from you!" shouted Naruto as he kept struggling to break free. The more he struggled, the tighter the vampires grip became. The young Hokage tried to punch Kuro, but the vampire stopped Naruto's fist with ease. Then, he grabbed Naruto's other wrist with the same hand before he grabbed at Naruto's locks tilting his head to the side. "Stop it! Let go of me!" shouted Naruto before Kuro just smirked at him. At that time, Naruto knew that Kuro was going to do what he wanted and Naruto was too panicked to stop him. In fact, it seemed that he couldn't call forth any of his chakra at all… was it because Kuro was dead and he knew that chakra wouldn't work on him or was it something else?

"Don't worry Naruto… you won't have to worry about anything again. Once you're a vampire, you don't have to use chakra anymore, and the demon sealed within you won't be a problem either. With your power… I will rule this world." He laughed like a mad man before sinking his fangs into Naruto's neck.

Naruto's scream soon went quite as his head just limped against Kuro's grip. He could feel his life drain from his body, was this what was to happen to him? He was killed off by a creature that was said to have been a myth, that was said to have been killed off hundreds of years ago and now, here he was being killed off by it.

He felt so cold, like his body was finally going to go to sleep at long last. Would anyone in the village miss him? Or would they even care? Sure, his parents would miss him deeply but at the moment it almost seemed like he wouldn't care… had his mind finally started to shut down on him?

Soon, he started to feel something drip down his throat. Naruto didn't know what it was, though what he did know was that it was warm… and caused him to groan in pain. The pain had started small, going through his body like a warm tingling, then that warmth started to grow hotter and hotter with each passing second. Whatever was causing this it was painful and the young man just wanted this all to hurry up and end already!

Tossing his head a few times, gritting his teeth and tightly shutting his eyes, Naruto tried to get this pain to stop. He wanted it all to end where nothing could hurt him anymore. Whatever or whoever caused this held onto him tightly as more of that warm substance poured through his throat and his system just seemed to absorb it like a sponge.

What felt like hours, took only minutes for the pain to finally course through his entire being. Naruto felt his heart stop, he felt his teeth grow into sharp fangs, and he felt his skin start to grow cold. Was this how vampires had to go through while transforming?! How could they deal with this and not already die from this mind numbing pain.

Soon, Naruto slowly started to open his eyes; the pain had finally faded from his system and looked around. He saw that he was still in the forest, but he felt… odd. Shaking his head Naruto shakily started to push himself up and… wait, how long had he been lying on the ground for? Hadn't he been standing when Kuro held onto him? Shakily, he rubbed his forehead, hitting the forehead protector that was still wrapped around his head as he tried to think on what had happened…

Looking around some more, Naruto saw that it was night, so he guessed that he had been asleep for a couple hours. If that was the case, why hadn't his parents come looking for him?

"Naruto, kill the first people that come in your sight." Said a voice from above.

"No!" shouted Naruto, but his body felt strange, like it soon started to get a mind of its own. Gritting his teeth, he tried to stop whatever was happening to him. Though his body soon started to relax, so maybe his control didn't work on him anymore? That could be something at least… "I guess you can't control me!" shouted Naruto with a smirk.

"Naruto!" shouted two new voices. Eyes widening, Naruto's sharper hearing picked up two heart beats. The sound of their blood pumping through their veins caused his stomach to growl and grumble from hunger, but not for food. His body shaking, his fangs growing… Naruto tried to say something, tried to warn them to get away from him. "Naruto are you okay?" asked the two voices, right away he knew who they were.

"G… Get away!" shouted Naruto before he turned around. Baring his fangs in a growl as he looked like he was about to kill. Seeing the fear in his parents eyes wanted Naruto to cry, wanted him to tell them that he wasn't doing this, that he was being controlled to do this. Soon… Naruto had blacked out once again…

Moaning, Naruto slowly started to open his eyes as he looked around, his vision still blurred but he didn't feel sore… Frowning, Naruto shakily pushed himself up and called out for his parents. Hoping that whatever happened had been nothing but a nightmare. His hands gripped at the… grass that was below him? Huh? Blinking a few times, Naruto looked around, his night vision starting to take effect and what he saw made tears start to roll down his cheeks.

For, Naruto was lying in the pool of his parents blood, most of it must have been in him for he didn't feel hungry anymore. Pushing himself away and scooting on the grass to get away, Naruto said "what have I done!?" More tears started to flow down his cheeks as he tried to get the image to leave him, but it was in front of his very vision. Looking around, Naruto saw that Kuro was gone… for now.

Though he had a feeling that he would be back, when that was he wasn't sure. Gasping softly, Naruto grabbed at his head and tugged at his hair as if hoping the pain from that would wake him up from this terrible nightmare.

"Naruto…" said a new voice, causing Naruto to turn away from the bodies of his parents and to stare at a tiny fox with nine tails. He didn't know who that was, but he had a feeling that he did… oddly enough. "Naruto, it's me, Kurama…" Eyes widening in shock, Naruto had been about to ask what he was doing outside his body, but nothing came to mind… It was still rather odd that Kurama was outside of his body.

"How are you…?" asked Naruto, unsure of how to really ask the now small fox.

"When Kuro had turned you into a vampire, you pretty much died and therefore, I was separated from your body. Now, since we are, in a sense still connected I sensed your turmoil and saw… what happened." Kurama looked toward the bodies of Naruto's parents, and saw that there were bite marks all over their bodies so no one would know what really killed them. Sighing softly, Kurama turned back to the blonde vampire as he said "you attacked Kuro after you killed your parents and he took off seeing that his control broke its hold on you…"

Looking up, Naruto wrapped his arms around his body as he tried to get this to stop, the pain… the torment. Why was this happening to him? Hadn't he suffered enough from becoming a jailer for a demon?

Kurama walked over toward Naruto and patted his foot with his paw. Turning to the small demon, Kurama calmly said "I can erase your memories Naruto. You won't remember anything but your name… Though, you will remember if you bite a certain bloodline…" Naruto nodded before he got up and walked further in the forest. If he was going to lose his memories, he would want to be as far away from his parents as possible. "Naruto… is this what you want though?" asked Kurama as he followed the blonde vampire.

"It is… I don't want to remember this day at all… I don't care which bloodline you choose to hide my memories in so long as I don't drink from them."

"Alright Naruto…"

"Also Kurama, don't come to find me unless I'm in a terrible state… I want… I'd want you to watch over me." Naruto whispered softly.

"Of course Naruto…" With that said, Naruto fell to the ground when he felt light headed. At that point in time, was when Naruto knew he'd wake up as a new man, with no memories of what he had done to his parents… and that was when he knew that his time as Hokage would end.

Groaning, Naruto slowly started to open his eyes… he looked around and saw that he was still in Hinata's home. Though he didn't dare to move… now he knew why he felt so cold when he saw that painting of him and those two people. Because he killed them in a rage of bloodlust and someone's control. Shaking his head, the blonde vampire just lied there on the floor, not really wanting to move…

He couldn't believe that he killed his own parents, even if it was under someone else's control he still couldn't believe it. Taking a deep breath, Naruto looked down only for his eyes to widen in shock when he didn't see Hinata. Pushing himself up he said "Hinata where are you?!" He didn't know where she could have gone off too though he was still panicked.

Walking out of the bathroom, Naruto saw that it was night… so that explained why he didn't feel anything burning him… That was a plus at least. Looking up, Naruto sighed softly when he saw Hinata in the kitchen and he of course sank down onto the floor, he felt so tired even though he had so much energy.

"Naruto!? Are you okay!?" shouted Hinata as she rushed toward Naruto and helped him up onto his feet and brought him to sit down on the couch. Naruto looked up at Hinata, not sure if he had a right to stare at her. Soon, his gaze drifted off to her neck and his eyes widened in shock.

"Hinata!? I bit you?!" He shouted in shock. Hell, Naruto didn't even remember biting her at all and feared that he had done it without her consent. Hinata blinked innocently at him for a moment before she looked at her neck and gave him a soft smile. Even though the wound was healed, most likely from him licking it, he knew that it had to have been painful for her and he did take quite a bit.

"It's okay Naruto, I let you bite me, and you were hurt and burned… I had to do something for you." Said Hinata with a soft smile before she cupped his cheek in her hand. It wasn't what a lover would do but as a way to help him calm down.

Looking down, Naruto knew that he had been drinking blood though; he guessed on some level that it had been hers yet had hoped it was the blood of an animal. Closing his eyes for a moment, Naruto took a deep breath as he recalled the memories that had gone through his head, yeah those were Hinata's memories. Taking a deep breath, the young man opened his eyes and looked up at Hinata as he said "why did you do that?"

"Um…" she blushed softly before she looked away. Naruto feared for her answer, sure he had some feelings for her, and knew that she had some kind of feelings for her as well but… could he handle it again? With another human? No, he had to know if Hinata would accept him if he told her the truth.

"Answer me this Hinata… then I want to test what you say." Said Naruto with a soft sigh.

Hinata looked up at Naruto for a moment. He wasn't sure what she was going to say, but what he did know was that if she did say what he had wanted to hear then he had to tell her what happened all those years ago. About the last time he had been with a human and what may happen. It was the only thing that he knew that would test Hinata's feelings for him. No matter if it was as a friend of stronger than that…

"I love you…" Hinata whispered at last.

Eyes widening, Naruto looked away. He knew that she was going to say that yet at the same time he feared that maybe she only liked the thrill of being with him. Most humans found it interesting when they were with a vampire that wouldn't bite them, that it was some kind of thrill. Either way, it scared him so much that she would run away from him when he told her the risks of being with him.

"Hinata… before we do confirm any kind of relationship, I should tell you something… the risks of… what may happen." He whispered softly before he sank a little bit in his seat. Naruto knew, just knew that Hinata would run away from him screaming at the top of her lungs just so she could get away from him.

"What is it Naruto?" asked Hinata.

"I got my memories back, from before I was turned and right after." Hinata just stared at him for a moment, as if trying to figure out what he was going to say next. He couldn't blame her for that anyway, though what he could do was keep going with the story. So he did… "I woke up and I was so… hungry. Even though I wasn't in control myself, the vampire that turned me ordered me to kill the first people that I saw… which just so happened to have been my parents." Tightly shutting his eyes, Naruto felt himself wanting to cry… "I killed and drank their blood; I had never felt such horror before in my entire life."

Hinata didn't move, she just stared at him for a moment as if she was trying to process everything that had been said. "Kurama erased my memories so I wouldn't live with guilt consuming me each and every day. So, after they were erased, I guess… I just stayed in the forest and would only drink a little of human blood each and every time someone would come into the forest."

Turning to look at her, Naruto had been amazed that Hinata stayed there listening to him. Most humans would have ran off by now though he figured she stayed to listen to the whole thing before she made her judgement toward him. "One day, a woman came in. You kind of remind me of her but I know you're not her. I fell in love with her and did what I could to make her happy but I guess she didn't feel the same even if she acted she loved me."

"What happened after that?" asked Hinata with confusion in her expression.

"I asked her if I could turn her into a vampire, so we could be together forever. She of course never gave me the answer I wanted, or any answer. After a while, I went to meet with her and that was when he appeared again. Kuro, the vampire that turned me ordered me to kill her." Hinata covered her mouth in shock, though she wasn't moving otherwise, at least besides breathing. Naruto knew that she wanted to keep watching, in case there was something more that he wanted to say.

"I killed her after I blacked out. When I woke up, I saw my blood staining my hands and my clothes. Kuro told me that no matter what, I couldn't love anyone without killing them. Now… I fear that the love I have for you, would kill you next."

"You love me?" Hinata said in shock, which made Naruto want to curse. He hadn't wanted to tell her like this! Damn it… Oh well, it wasn't like he could lie to her anyway, no matter what he did he just couldn't lie to her, he loved Hinata…

"I do… Hinata, do you still love me, after everything I told you?" asked Naruto when he turned to stare at her, wondering if Hinata would still feel the same, the only thing he could think of was her saying that she hated him, that she never wanted to see him ever again. Hell, in a way he wanted that to happen but at the same time he didn't want that to happen.

"I still love you… nothing will change that." Hinata said with a smile.

Staring at her with wide eyes, Naruto couldn't believe what she had just said to him. Looking at her eyes, the blonde vampire tried to see if Hinata was lying to him, if something else was preventing Hinata from thinking clearly for her own life and safety. But, no matter how much he searched in her eyes, Naruto couldn't find a single lie within her beautiful lavender coloured orbs. Hinata was telling the truth to him, and that made him smile a bit for the first time in who knows how long.

Naruto did the unthinkable next… He grabbed Hinata and pulled her close before pressing his lips against hers. For the first time ever, Naruto found someone that loved him, as much as he loved her. But how long could this joy last for the two of them?
