Yay promo writing, the thing the WWE can't seem to do properly. This should be fun, had to look up some Undertaker promos to get a sense of what I am doing.

Raw after Rumble

The Monday night crowd was hot after such a good show the previous night. Many wanted to see the rumble winner Stone Cold Steve Austin face off against Finn Hofferson, the current champ. Others wanted to see Undertaker face down Rosie.

A segment involving Kane had just ended leaving the ring empty. Then all of a sudden:

Gong

The crowd went wild as the lights dimmed in the arena.

Gong

Hiccup made his way down the entrance ramp at his own pace. Once inside the ring, he walked around taking in the sights of the crowd before asking for a mic. Once the ringside official gave him the mic, he began to speak.

"Last night at the Royal Rumble, an unknown wrestler attacked me and eliminated me. I demand that she stand before me and answer for her crimes. Or else she will face the wrath of the ministry."

Rosie's music hit and she made her way down to the ring with a mic in hand. Once she got into the ring she stood face to face with Hiccup.

"You had the audacity to throw me out of rumble. Who are you?"

"I'm Rosie Hofferson, from Berk."

"Well Rosie Hofferson of Berk, you've just made yourself an enemy."

Hiccup dropped the mic and grabbed Rosie by the neck before giving her a chokeslam. Hiccup stared at the fallen Rosie before taking a glance at the WrestleMania sign. Hiccup then looked at Rosie again before grabbing one of the mics off the ground.

"At WrestleMania, not only will your body be a mangled mess after I am done with you. You will rest in peace."

Hiccup rolled his eyes back into his head as his music hit once more. He got out of the ring leaving Rosie struggling to get back up onto her feet.

Raw the following week…

Rosie was in the ring with Tuffnut as they had a match. Tuffnut attempted to give her a rock bottom but she countered and delivered a twist of fate to her opponent. Seeing the opportunity, Rosie ran over to the turnbuckle and climbed to the top before looking at the crowd. She stood all the way and was about to jump when…

Gong!

The lights went out and the crowd went wild.

Gong!

The lights came back on revealing a knocked out Rosie. Tuffnut crawled over to the downed Rosie and pinned her

The referee called for the bell, ending the match.

Raw, the next week

Rosie once again found herself in a match with Tuffnut. This was an extreme rules match and she was determined to win. Grabbing a kendo stick, Rosie waited for Tuffnut to stand a face her when…

Gong!

The lights went out and the crowd went wild.

Gong!

The lights came back on and in the ring replacing Tuffnut was Hiccup. Rosie was shocked but quickly shook herself out of said state and went to go hit him with the kendo stick. As she brought the weapon down Hiccup kicked her in the gut causing her to reel back in pain. Hiccup then ran at her and gave her a clothesline.

Hiccup stood above the fallen Rosie and looked at the crowd before grabbing her by the neck and hoisted her up so that she was eye level with him. He was about to lift her up even higher to give her a chokeslam but she fought out of his grasp before kicking him the stomach. Rosie delivered a huge forearm to Hiccup's head and hit a few punches in his gut. Then she went for a European uppercut and connected. Hiccup stumbled back but wasn't deterred. Their fighting was quickly stopped as referees and backstage officials separated them.

No chance

Vince's theme hit and made his way out to the entrance and began speaking into a mic.

"Since you two won't stop fighting, the both of you will be suspended until WrestleMania."

This of course was met with a loud chorus of boos from the crowd.

"Shut up all of you, you didn't let me finish. I am changing the rules of your match at Mania. You two will now be fighting in an extreme rule match. And if you don't adhere to your suspension, both of you will be fired!"

The two wrestlers stared at each other with pure hatred as Vince made his way to the back

Wrestlemania XIV

The day had come, Wrestlemania was upon them and everyone was excited. At this point in time, there were only two matches left to go on the card, the main event of Stone cold v. Finn Hofferson and Hiccup v. Rosie. Hiccup was in the back making sure his hat was on correctly while Rosie was up in guerilla waiting to go out.

Rosie was staring down at the ground when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned around to see Hunter smiling at her,

"Good luck out there Rosie."

"Thanks, Hunter."

Rosie's music hit and made her way down to the ring. The crowd was excited for the match because it was extreme rules, who didn't love a little bloodshed.

"The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Making her way to the ring, from Berk, weighing in at one hundred thirty-five pounds, Rosie Hofferson!"

Rosie entered the ring as sixty thousand plus people cheered her on. She smiled and took off her jacket before looking at the entrance ramp to see her opponent.

Gong!

The crowd popped as the lets dimmed as smoke began to fill the arena.

Gong!

Hiccup's music began and the lights came back on but with a purple glow to them. Then emerging from the fog came Hiccup and the crowd cheered loudly. He stopped at the top of the ramp and looked out to the ring, staring at Rosie with the same intensity he did back at the rumble. Then fountains of fire started to shoot up to his left and right causing to the crowd to scream in shock. Hiccup took a few steps forward with the slow methodical pace he has used for the past 7 years.

"And her opponent, from Death Valley, weighing in at two hundred and ninety-nine pounds, The Phenom, The Deadman, The Undertaker!"

Hiccup approached the ring and made a left turn over to the steel steps in which he climbed before stopping at the ring post. He looked inside the ring and lifted his arms slowly above his head. The lights followed his motion, slowly turning on and changing back to its normal color when his arms were outstretched above his head.

Hiccup walked along the ring apron before holding down his hat on his head and going underneath the third rope. He stood back up and stared at Rosie who backed into the corner of the ring as Hiccup glanced around the arena. Then he looked back at Rosie before bowing his head down and grabbing the hem of his hat. He lifted the hat off his head and brought it down in front of his face, revealing his eyes rolled back into his head and lighting was heard throughout the arena. Hiccup gave the hat to an official on the outside and took off his trench coat and gave it to the same official.

The referee stood in between the two wrestlers as they stepped towards each other, trying to keep them apart. After a brief moment, the two of them walked back to their respective corners. The ref took a glance at the two of them before calling for the bell to start the match.

The bell rung and the match began with the two of them grappling each other in the middle of the ring. Hiccup managed to flip Rosie and locked her into a rest hold. Rosie stood up and grabbed his head before giving him a stunner. Rosie stood back up and started to punch him in the gut doing as much damage as she could.

Hiccup was backed up to the ropes so she continued laying shots into him. Hiccup and his arms up trying to deflect as many of the punches as he could. Rosie then gave him a knife edge chop to the chest. The sound of her hand slapping against his chest was heard throughout the arena. This forced Hiccup to lose his blocking stance allowing Rosie to punish him even more. Rosie drove her forearm into his skull trying to get him to fall to the mat. She gave him another forearm but he still stood. Rosie took a step back before attempting a spinning roundhouse kick but Hiccup ducked underneath the attack then turned around to kick her in the gut.

The move sent Rosie to her knee which gave Hiccup an opening. Hiccup gave her a double ax handle to the back causing her to fall to the mat. Hiccup walked over to where her head was and grabbed. He then drove his knee into her skull, getting a loud reaction from the crowd. Hiccup picked her limp body off the mat and brought her to the nearby corner where he proceeded to unleash a fury of punches to her gut. After giving her about 20 punches, Hiccup gave her a knife edge chop to the chest. He then grabbed her head and started to run with her in tow before giving her a running bulldog.

Hiccup watched as she tried to get then he ran over to the ropes and bounced off of them before attempting to hit her with a running knee. Rosie ducked under the move and turned around and jumped into the air before giving Hiccup a dropkick. The move had sent Hiccup stumbling but didn't make him fall to the ground. Frustrated, Rosie started to kick him in his sides. After about 3 or 4 kicks to each side Rosie attempted to give another spinning roundhouse kick to the head but once again Hiccup ducked. This time he grabbed her by the throat and attempted to give her a chokeslam but Rosie fought out of hit and landed behind him. As soon as Hiccup turned around to face her she gave him a superkick.

Hiccup stumbled a bit but remained on his feet. Rosie marched over to where he was but got an elbow in the gut. Hiccup ran to the ropes and bounced off them before attempting to give Rosie a big boot but she ducked under his leg and bounced off the ropes herself. She attempted to give him a shoulder tackle when they met each other in the center of the ring but once the move connected Hiccup still stood tall. Hiccup tried to punch her in the head but she ducked under his arm and got behind him. Hiccup turned around but was met with a kick to the gut. Rosie grabbed his head and tried to give a twist of fate but Hiccup pushed her away from him. Rosie used the momentum and jumped onto the second rope before jumping again, attempting to give Hiccup a moon sault.

Hiccup caught her mid-air and ran over to the ring corner before giving her snake eyes. As Rosie stumbled around, Hiccup ran to the ropes, bounced off them, and gave her a big boot. Rosie fell to the ground immediately and Hiccup once again bounced off the nearby ropes before giving her a leg drop. Hiccup stood up and looked around the arena before giving his signature taunt. Rosie tried to get to her feet but was picked up by Hiccup and put into the tombstone position. However, by some miracle, Rosie was able to counter him and give him her own tombstone before collapsing onto the mat next to him.

Rosie rolled underneath the bottom rope and sat on the ring apron. She looked behind her to see the downed Hiccup and smiled, she accomplished her task. Rosie got off the ring apron before looking underneath the ring trying to find a weapon. Rosie found what she wanted and stood back up with a kendo stick in hand. She got back into the ring and raised the weapon above her head. Rosie brought it down hard on the gut of Hiccup and of course, he sat up in pain. Rosie struck him again with the weapon, this time in the head. Hiccup rolled over trying to get away from her but she still hit him again on his left leg. Rosie increased the speed at which she hit him with the kendo stick, giving him a bunch of wounds on his back, head, and legs. After her fury subsided, Rosie raised the weapon above her head one more time and brought it down on his back. Once the weapon made contact with him, it shattered into a million pieces, wood flying everywhere.

Rosie tossed the broken kendo stick aside and went for the pin on Hiccup.

Hiccup lifted his shoulders up stopping the pin. Rosie sighed and picked up Hiccup off the ground. She punched him the gut and then went for his head but Hiccup countered and started to punch her back. He forced her to back up to the ropes where he lifted her up and draped across the top rope before kicking her in the head. This caused her to fall off the top rope and onto the cold hard floor below.

Hiccup stepped underneath the third rope and then to the floor where Rosie's limp body laid. Hiccup picked her up by her head and brought her over to announcers table and slammed her head on the table. As Rosie stumbled, Hiccup grabbed her by the throat and chokeslammed her onto the table. The table didn't break so Rosie laid on top of it. Seeing this Hiccup got back inside the ring and climbed the turnbuckles closest to the announce desk. Once on top, he looked at Rosie for a brief second before leaping into the air and giving Rosie an elbow drop that sent them both through the announce table.

'This is awesome' the crowd chanted.

After about five seconds Hiccup slowly got back to his feet and grabbed Rosie off the ground. He threw her into the ring and grabbed himself a steel chair from underneath the ring. He then grabbed a second chair, then a third, then a fourth. Hiccup set them up close to the nearby ring post. Once all four chairs were up, Hiccup got back into the ring was Rosie was struggling to get back onto her feet.

Hiccup grabbed Rosie off the ground and gave her an Irish whip into the ring corner where he planned to through her into the chairs. Hiccup lifted Rosie up to the top turnbuckle and he followed her by standing to the top turnbuckle. He tried to give her a suplex to the outside but she fought out of his grasp and got down from the turnbuckles. Hiccup turned around to face Rosie and was surprised by a dropkick which made him lose his balance causing Hiccup to fall back first onto the chairs he had just set up.

Rosie tried to catch her breath as Hiccup laid on the outside of the ring but then she had an idea. Walking over to the turnbuckle they just fought on, she climbed to the top and looked at the downed Hiccup. She looked to the sky and sent a prayer to Odin before jumping and giving Hiccup a Swanton Bomb.

Once Rosie stood up she grabbed Hiccup and threw him underneath the bottom rope and into the ring. Rosie followed suit by rolling underneath the bottom rope. She stood up and faced Hiccup who was trying to stand up himself. Rosie kicked him in the gut and gave him a twist of fate. The move connected and Rosie crawled on top of him for the pin.

Hiccup kicked out once again, Rosie thought she had him. She sat up exhausted and looked at the ref pleading that he miscounted. Behind her without realizing, Hiccup sat up staring intensely at her. Feeling his breath on the back of her neck she slowly turned around and faced him. The two of them stood up and faced each other, the crowd cheering them on.

Rosie wasted no time in trying to strike down Hiccup. She gave him a European uppercut which caused him to stumble a bit. Rosie tried to take advantage of this and gave him a dropkick but she still stood on his two feet. She ran over to the ropes, bounced off the ropes and attempted to give Hiccup a clothesline but was met a stiff spear. Hiccup crawled over to her and draped his arm over her chest.

Rosie kicked out at the last possible second. Frustrated, Hiccup grabbed her arm and locked in Helheim's gate. Rosie screamed in agony as Hiccup applied more pressure on the hold. With what little strength she had left, Rosie rolled Hiccup up and got his shoulders on the mat.

One

Hiccup let go of the hold so he could avoid being pinned. Once he stood up Hiccup grabbed Rosie's arm and twisted around and walked over to one of the ring corners. He climbed up to the top turnbuckle and walked the ropes with her arm in his grasp until he jumped off the ropes to give her old school. Hiccup walked to the ropes and got out of the ring then he started looking underneath it for a new weapon. He found what he was looking for, grabbing the wooden table and throwing it into the ring. Hiccup rolled into the ring and was about to stand up but was kicked to the head by Rosie. She quickly grabbed the table and set it up, then grabbed Hiccup and placed him on the table. Rosie made her way over to the nearby ring corner and climbed the turnbuckles. From where she sat on top the third turnbuckle she could see everyone cheering her on. Rosie stood up and attempted to give Hiccup a Swanton bomb but he had rolled off the table in the nick of time causing her to go through the table by herself.

Hiccup stood back up and grabbed the downed Rosie who was writhing in pain. He got her into tombstone position and connected the move sending her head straight down on the mat, her back soon after. Hiccup grabbed both her arms and crossed them on her chest. He then stuck out his tongue for his signature pin.

Rosie managed to kick out just as the referee's hand hit the mat. Hiccup thought he had one so he started arguing with the ref.

"That was three, her shoulders were down."

"She kicked out taker."

Rosie used the distraction to her advantage by rolling Hiccup up so his shoulders were on the mat.

Hiccup kicked out and immediately stood up to face Rosie but she was much faster and kicked him in the head. Rosie grabbed his head and brought it to his side so she could give him a tornado DDT. The move connected and Hiccup was on the ground. Rosie tried to go for a pin.

One

Two

Hiccup kicked out, Rosie looked around ringside to see if she could find a weapon. She got out of the ring and started searching for a bit. Rosie saw the chairs from earlier and grabbed one of them. When she turned back to the ring she saw Hiccup standing once again with a kendo stick in hand. Rosie cautiously stood climbed back in the ring and faced Hiccup. Then surprising everyone Hiccup dropped the kendo stick to the ground, choosing his fits over the weapon. Rosie began to laugh and started to call him out on his stupidity.

"You're stupid Undertaker So, so stupid."

Rosie went to go bash him on the head with the chair but Hiccup dodged by running underneath the shot. He then faced her and started to punch her in the gut before running to the ropes and jumping off the second rope. Rosie saw this and hit his exposed belly with the chair. Hiccup fell to the ground with a loud thud and rolled around on the ground in pain. Rosie hit him again with the chair this time on the head. She once again lifted the chair above her head and brought it down on his head once again.

Rosie unfolded the chair and placed it in the middle of the ring. She watched as Hiccup stood up, stumbling with each step. Rosie looked at his head and saw blood coming out of his forehead. She shook her head and kicked him in the gut. Rosie picked him uplifting him over his head but he kneed her in the head forcing Rosie to bring Hiccup back to the ground. Hiccup turned the two of them around and lifted Rosie above his head and brought her down back first onto the chair.

Rosie screamed in pain, the force of her hitting the chair broke it. She tried to stand, using the ropes to help her. Rosie was then clotheslined out of the ring by Hiccup. Hiccup stood there watching her for a brief second before running over to the opposite side of the ring, bouncing off the ropes, and ran towards the ropes where he had just clotheslined Rosie over. He jumped over the third rope and landed on Rosie who didn't have time to catch him. The two of them hit the ground hard.

Hiccup got up after about thirty seconds on the ground. His left leg hurt like hell, he needed to tell Rosie somehow. He picked Rosie off the ground and gave her a suplex. Hiccup didn't bother getting up, he rolled over so that way his mouth was next to her left ear.

"Rose... my leg… something's wrong" he whispered.

"Which one?"

"Left."

"How long do you think it could hold up?"

"Don't know, work it."

"Got it."

Hiccup stood up again and grabbed Rosie off the ground. He threw her into the nearby barricades. Hiccup took a few steps back and started to run towards her, attempting to give her a running knee with his left leg but Rosie ducked before the move could connect. His knee hit the barricade hard, Rosie used this to her advantage and kicked the back of his left leg. Rosie grabbed his head and slammed it against the ring post. Before he could fall to the ground, Rosie grabbed him and threw him into the ring. She grabbed his left leg and brought in near the ring post and slammed it against the metal post. Rosie looked to her right and saw the chairs from earlier, she smiled and grabbed one before facing Hiccup's leg. She raised the chair above her head and brought it down on his leg. She hit his leg, again and again, not letting up until the chair was broken beyond use.

Hiccup rolled farther into the ring as Rosie entered the ring herself. She waited for Hiccup to stand up and gave a running knee to the wounded Undertaker. She picked him up off the ground and gave him a twist a fate but she didn't go for the pin. Rosie stumbled over to the nearby ring corner and climbed the turnbuckles. In her mind, one last Swanton bomb could do it. She jumped forward, her back hitting his exposed gut. Rosie grabbed his leg and lifted it in the air for the pin.

Hiccup kicked out once again leaving Rosie shocked. She thought for sure she had him. Rosie got up and picked Hiccup up with her. She ran over to the ring corner she was near and climbed to the top rope before jumping off it, attempting a moon sault but Hiccup caught her mid-air. He struggled to get her in position for a tombstone but he got her there. Hiccup fell to his knees driving her head into the mat with force. Once her back hit the mat he grabbed her hands and crossed them over her chest and made his pin.

Three

The referee called for the bell and Hiccup's music began to play. As soon as the ref made the three count, Hiccup had collapsed next to Rosie.

"The winner of this match, The Undertaker!"

Hiccup stood up facing the crowd who cheered his victory. The ref grabbed his bloodied fist and held it in the air. Using his free right hand, Hiccup wiped some his blood off his forehead. Hiccup looked down at Rosie and helped her up to her feet. The two of them stood facing each other until Hiccup asked for a mic.

"Not many can say they have the respect of the Undertaker." Hiccup looked at Rosie who was clutching her sides and had some blood running down the side of her head. "You are one of them."

Hiccup fell to his knee and gave his signature victory pose to Rosie. After a brief second, Hiccup got up and limped over to Rosie and hugged her. The two of them left each other embrace after a minute and rolled out of the ring, walking up the ramp together.

Undertaker

Let's go, Rosie

Undertaker

Let's go, Rosie

The two stood shoulder to shoulder on the stage as Hiccup looked back at the ring. He rolled his eyes back into his head and raised his arm in the air. Thunder was heard throughout the arena as he had remained raised. Hiccup put his arm down and the two of them walked further into the fog-filled stage.

Rosie and Hiccup made their way backstage and Vince looked happy.

"What a match. The both of you have off this week, you'll need your rest for what I have planned" Vince said.

"And that would be?"

"Tag team run. You guys are gonna team up against DX you'll go up against them at Summerslam."

Rosie nodded and Hiccup just stared at Vince.

"You want us to tag, after everything we just went through?"

"You said it yourself, she earned Undertaker's respect. The ministry has bad blood with DX and it's always nice to gain a new ally. The storyline will be as follows, Rosie will be giving a promo about the match, DX comes out and asks her to join them, you'll refuse and DX will attack you. After a bit of a beat down, the ministry will come to save you. That's where we begin the team."

"I understand Vince."

"Good now the both of you get your heads stitched up and enjoy the week off, you've earned."

"Yeah, yeah" muttered Hiccup.

Rosie and Hiccup walked away from Vince who was telling Austin and Finn to get ready.

"You should have told him about the leg."

"I'll be fine, just need some rest."

"If you say so" Rosie replied with concern laced in her voice.

The two of them entered the medical ward and the doctors got to work immediately on them.

So what did you think? This was the first One on One match since the first Rosie v Hiccup. If any of you noticed, a lot of these spots I had Rosie and Hiccup do were inspired by NXT Takeover Philadelphia's Aleister Black vs Adam Cole. One of the best matches I have seen in quite some time. I know, kinda cheap having them becoming suspended but I didn't have much story planned for the lead-up. Trust me this tag team is just a small part in a much larger story. -Dilloncoll
