Saying goodbye

I can never truly tell people this but I feel I had a good friend in Loki. I mean yeah he did try to take over my planet and kill my dad but he did all of it because he was misunderstood and so am I. Kenna knows this better than anyone, it seems that I nearly killed her once but that's a story for another time. I mean all he ever done while I was i9n his company was protect me form harm even if it meant he got hurt. I will forever miss Loki Laufeyson.

As the world was in wonder of the battle that was fought by the Avengers a lot of questions were raised but the main one "Where are they now?" And well I can tell you, we were currently sending Thor, Loki and the Tesseract back to where it belonged on Asgard. Agents of Shield were holding back the civilians while we gathered in a group around the two gods one of which was muzzled. Knowing that I was needed to attend the council meeting I quickly nodded to Kenna knowing that she would understand that this was good bye and moved in front of Loki where I removed his Muzzle "You may be the God of lies but you do not deserve this." I told him before stepping back smiling at everyone and shooting off into the sky.

I arrived in the meeting chamber just in time to hear Fury inform the council that he was not currently tracking the Avengers. "I'd say they've earned a leave of absence." I said entering the room and taking my place by fury. "And the Tesseract?" they questioned. "The Tesseract is where it belongs." I stated knowing that Fury was expecting me to no longer be weak in their eyes. "Out of our reach." Fury explained putting his arm around my shoulder in a proud gesture to the councils shock. "That's not your call." One of them muttered. "I didn't make it. I just didn't argue with the god that did." Fury replied with a smirk as he crossed his arms over his chest. "So you let him take it and the war criminal Loki who should be answering for his crimes?" the councillor questioned in disbelief. "Oh I think he will be." I said looking up at the council with a glare.

"I don't think that you understand what you've started, letting the avengers loose on this world. They're dangerous." The female spoke in a commanding voice. "Yes we are and the whole world knows it." I stated looking at them in defiance as I felt fury put a hand on my shoulder. "Every world knows it." He backed.
"Was that the point of all this? A statement!" the man questioned not quite understanding what fury and I meant. "A promise." Fury and I replied at the same time knowing that it would subdue the council.

Leaving the room fury pulled me into a hug. "When you're ready kid you are going to lead this organisation." He muttered into my ear, causing me to blush. Pulling away from the embrace of my second father we walked back to the bridge where we were greeted with Maria who promptly rushed to give me a hug and mutter her thanks for not dying. "Sir how does it work now? They've gone their separate ways, some extremely far. We get into a situation like this again, what happens then?" She questioned as we moved toward the window. "They come back." Fury replied as we arrived before the window. "You sure about that?" she asked not understanding what I already knew. "I am." He replied "Why?" "Because we will need them to." I told her turning around and giving her a smile.
