~ I was going to make this an extra long chapter since I haven't updated in a month, but I decided to leave all the good parts for the next chapter (:
~ This is part of the chapters based from TVD season 5 Episode 5 Monster's Ball.

~ The title of the chapter is inspired by the song Second Chance (By: Shinedown). One of my favorites from that band.

Dark G0ddess: I think Stefan was more drunk that Dani, but it is kind of fair to think that they were both drunk. If you remembered, I wanted them to sort of have a hook-up before the historical ball (because of something else I've said). I think in the last chapter Silas didn't know that Dani's memories were wiped, but after she slapped him... he started to look out to find out what happened. By the beginning of this chapter (because of the scene I want to have with him and Damon), Silas will have learned that Dani's memories were wiped by Tessa. I think that there will be times that Silas will try to get Dani back without her memories (at least for a little while) before she starts to learn more about her past. Not to mention Silas is the only one that is able to teach Dani how to use her psychic powers. In order to re-learn those, Dani will have to learn about her past... mainly the stuff with Silas.

unknown (guest): More than likely if I do make Dani ho to The Originals, it won't be until there is a sequel, unless there is a reason to go there during this story.

O.M.G Girl (Guest): I think Silas was more surprised than mad. He was surprised that she thought he was Stefan, but he tried to take advantage of the opportunity that he had with her. Silas didn't know at the time that she had her memories wiped, but by the time this chapter starts he found that out.

rosa (Guest): I've been through this before and I don't want to again, but if I have to, I have to...but I'm NOT going to mention it again because I'm sick of saying it. I will make the chapters as long as I want them to fit what I want to happen and they will take as long as they need. Saying 'Fast & Longer chapters' does not help when it comes to writing future chapters. I would like it if you could leave more constructive reviews without telling me that you would like to see faster and longer chapters. And please only review on the newest chapters... not all the past chapters in a row...

~ I'm uploading a couple of new chapters for different stories today because it's my birthday and I thought it would be a good way to celebrate with everyone.

GENERAL POV

Damon sat at the bar as he drank from his glass. His mind was on Stefan and Dani. He kept trying to think of ways to get their memories back. The first thing he had to do before getting their memories back was to get rid of Silas.
"So, why did you call me?" Silas asked as he stepped up next to Damon.
"Same reason you answered." Damon said without looking towards Silas. "You need help, and I'm gonna help you."
"What makes you think that I need help?" Silas asked, wondering if Damon was lying about helping him or not.
"Well, for starters, you're still here, as in, why do you suck so badly at killing yourself?" Damon asked and Silas let out a sigh.
"Well, for starters, I only wanted to kill myself to be with Dani on the other side." Damon looked at Silas with confusion. "Now that I know she's alive, I don't need to kill myself."
"She doesn't remember you." Damon said as he took a sip from his glass.
"I know and that's a problem." Silas looked at Damon. "I need you to help me find a way to get Dani's memories back."
"And why would I help you?"
"Because you want me gone." Silas said and Damon stayed quiet. "After Dani's memories are back I'll take her and we'll be out of town."
"What makes you think that she'd go anywhere with you?" Silas chuckled.
"There's a lot about Dani you don't know Damon. Do you really think she told you everything about her past?" Damon couldn't help but think about Silas's words. 'Were they really together?' He asked himself, remembering what Silas said the other day.
"Why would you need my help?" Damon asked.
"Qetsiyah, or Tessa, or whatever the hell she's calling herself these days...is the one that wiped Dani's memories, which means she's the only one that will be able to return them. Fortunately for me, she will be at the Whitmore Historical Ball this evening."
"Really?" Silas just nodded his head at Damon. "I thought you lost all of your psychic powers."
"Oh, I did, but I still have my incredible powers of observation, and I observed her buying a Cleopatra costume earlier this morning." Damon sat in silence as he thought about Silas's word. "When Dani has her memories back and I have my powers, we'll get Tessa to bring back your dead witch friend." Silas quietly watched Damon as he took a sip from his drink. "Do we have a deal?"
"Sure, why not?" Silas couldn't help but give Damon a smirk. He started to walk away, but then remembered something.
"Oh, and one more thing." Silas turned around and looked at Damon. "I need you to kill your brother."

Dani's POV

I slowly opened my eyes and saw Stefan laying next to me. He was still asleep, or at least pretending to be. 'Why do I like him?' I asked myself. 'Did I know him before?' I slowly brought my hand to his face and cupped it. His eyes started to open, but I didn't move my hand.
"Good morning." I said in a whisper.
"Good morning." He said with a small smile. 'So beautiful' I heard him say, even though his mouth didn't move. I just gave him a small smile.
"How is it that I hate Silas, but I'm attracted to you?" I asked after a few minutes as I looked in his eyes. "You both look and sound the same... but it feels different with you." He pulled me on top of him and I let out a laugh.
"Your laugh is almost as beautiful as you." I couldn't help but smile at Stefan as I kissed him. "I hope this never ends." I whispered as he flashed on top of me. He smiled down on my before he started to kiss my neck.

After what seemed like hours, Stefan and I finally got out of his bed. I wanted to spend all day with him, but Damon made me go shopping with Caroline. I didn't really know her, but from the very little time I spent with her... she seemed like a nice person.
"So, you like Stefan?" She asked as we walked into a store.
"Yeah." I said with a small smile. "Did he and I know each other before?" I asked because it was obvious she knew him before.
"No." She said. "You only came to town a few days ago and Stefan's never mentioned you before." A part of me was sad and confused. 'If he didn't know me, than why do I feel so close to him?' I let out a sigh as I looked at the clothing rack in front of us.
"This would look great on you." Caroline said after taking a dress from the rack. She held in in front of me and pictured me in it. "You would totally rock this Aphrodite dress." I couldn't help but smile as I took the dress from Caroline and stood in front of a mirror.
"It does look good." I said out loud with a smile.
"I told you." Caroline said with a smile as she stood next to me. "Go try it on." Caroline practically pushed me towards the dressing room.
"Okay, okay...no need to push me." I said with a smile before stepping into the dressing room.

General POV

Outside the store, Silas stood and looked in from a distance. He looked at Dani as she stepped out of the dressing room. 'She looks beautiful' He thought as he saw the dress on her. It reminded him of how she looked before they became immortal. He couldn't help but smile when he saw her smile and twirl around. The care-free Dani is the one he fell in love with and he knew was still there. 'I'll get your memory back' He thought as he watched her talk with Caroline. 'We will be together again'.

~ There will be more drama in the next chapter (since Silas and Tessa will be in it and have scenes with Dani). It will also be longer because of everything I want in it.

~ I'd like to hear your ideas on how you'd like to see happen. Right now I'm trying to focus on the Silas/Dani/Stefan triangle while keeping Silas in the story (even though his death moment of the show is coming up soon). I'm also trying to keep the story having events with season 5 events while keeping the story the way I've been writing it.
~ Because this is obviously different than my other stories and TVD season 5, I want to keep Katherine alive (even though the cure will be sucked out of her and somehow get into Amara, because I still want to bring Bonnie back). Some things will stay the same, while obvious changes will happen.

~ I have an idea on how I can create a sequel that will end up being a crossover with The Originals... but it will only happen if I get constructive reviews on this story on things you want to see and what you think of each chapters. If it does happen, Silas and Katherine will still be in the story with Dani.

~ After watching the 100th TVD episode, I had an amazing idea (at least amazing to me)... I could continue the story along TVD season 5 if I had Katherine jump into Dani instead of Elena... it would be a twist and in my mind very interesting to write. If I don't do that, I'm changing the 100th episode ending so I'd be able to bring Dani, Silas, and Katherine into the sequel which would go along the second half of The Originals season 1.
