" this will be my greatest yet." Spoke a man.

In an empty tower centered in wonderland the clockmaker worked diligently. His desk was scattered in gears and pins and hands, enough for 3 if not 4 clocks. The man wheezed and coughed tightening the screws into the clock.

" yes, I will have it done before they know." He spoke...

With know method of telling how long the man worked on the clock he could only rely on the untrusting time changes that changed and dragged on as they please. This man whoever he was, had no distinguishing features no visual aspects of any kind, but he had clocks all around piles of them but he didn't care, the two gold clock reflecting in the light no matter what had his all and when he took a break though they were small he would write, what he was writing was kept secret but when he was finished he laid the papers next to the clock he so carefully worked on until he was finally done.

"There she is complete." He said with what seemed like the last thing he ever said.

The clock started to glow...

"What about my clock?" Alessia asked.

Julius sat back in his seat hands in his lap. Of course she was going to ask that after what he asked, but still why couldn't she just say it. She held her hand up as white light started to circle and spiral in her palm in a small flash a stack of papers appeared. They seem tattered torn and age covered in stand and wet marks. Julius didn't recognize them in the slightest, but that was because the papers had nothing to do with him.

"You are actually younger than me in age but in roles you are older so these wouldn't have anything to do with you but if you want them you can have them." She said.

Handing Julius the papers his lips frowned but his eyes stared in confusion, shuffling through the pages carefully not to rip them more. He lowered his hands down and stared.

"It's all coded." He said disgruntled.

Even from Alessia's distance she could see the strange coded writing and even pictures sketched onto the papers. The papers had been with her for so long but she never bothered decoding them, it was a waste of time and not only that, when she came into Wonderland as a role holder she immediately went to work. He went to hand the papers back to her but she rejected them holding her hand up to him.

"Those have the answer you want I can't read them because I'm not familiar with it,but I can tell you that it was the clockmaker before you wrote those before he died, so maybe you can find something in your tower to help." Alessia said

" I myself don't know much about my own clock so I'm curious too, Julius if you find anything out, I would appreciate it if you tell me."

Julius looked at the papers once more it was something of a unbelievable situation, in his hands were something the clockmaker made before him, before he died? Right Alessia said he died, but no one dies naturally in Wonderland, that wasn't part of the game, but he didn't want to risk losing something that could give him answer by angering Alessia. He stood up and with a polite bow left. As he left he stopped seeing Ace waiting patiently outside. He smiled a Julius.

"Am I good to go in?" Ace asked

" I don't care but you have to work sometime." Julius responded.

He left Ace who turned and entered the tent. Alessia sighed laying her head down on the armoire seeing Ace enter, it seemed privacy wasn't an option today playing and rekindling with her flute wasn't an option either. Ace sat down in the same seat Julius was just in stretching out the best he could.

"You know I have to get dressed right?" Alessia pointed out.

Ace smiled and covered his eyes with his hands like a kid. He wasn't expecting her to undress with him there or do it naturally so when saw the light between the cracks of his fingers diminished he lowered his hands. He stared at Alessia now wearing a solid white double strap off the shoulder halter dress with a drape finish, staring back at him in the mirrors reflection she chuckled.

"You know to be honest I assumed you and the clockmaker had a thing, since you're never at the castle." Alessia commented

" would it mean that we have a thing since I listen as well as hang around you? He asked

Alessia smiled and reached for her brush, she started brushing her hair. She wanted to reply with a comment but it seemed Ace won that round of pointless squabbling. Though for the record she didn't consider what he was doing as spending time as much as wasting time she sat her brush down shortly after and turned to look at him hanging on the back of the chair hair hair draped over her arms and the back of the chair.

" I think you listen to me better than Vivaldi now that I think about it."

He shrugged his shoulder and then rubbed his head before letting out a small chuckle. He wouldn't deny the idea that he listened to Alessia/Luisa more but they weren't as demanding as Vivaldi was regarding him and his work which he didn't liked but he still took pride in what he did, standing from his chair he stretched one arm over the other, like he was doing stretches.

"That's because you're not her, she whiny and bossy, clingy around Alice and doesn't see what's real in this sad little place call wonderland. That's why I hate her."

His answer was honest and true with no hint of wavering, but was definitely intriguing and admirable for someone with a role of the knight to speak ill of the Queen, Alessia turned back to the mirror she started to once again brush her hair in the mirror. Her black eyes lidded in somewhat of a empathetic manner, hated was something she felt she had been use to but couldn't explain it. She lowered her head setting her brush down, smiling into her lap.

"Tell me what girl isn't, but does that me you hate me as well? That would explain a lot actually." Alessia commented

Ace stared coldly at Alessia with an even colder smile, with a light nod of his head he approached her. He reached back behind and stopped leaning over her he pulled out a silver dagger, a first for him, as much as a fan he was of his precious sword, in close quarter it was messy and if Alessia used vines or anything it would be more of a struggle with a sword than a dagger. He pressed the small blade to her neck gliding it up to her chin and back down. Alessia could see the trouble staring into his chaotic red eyes, he wasn't mad by her comment, it actually made him curious as to why she cared if he hated her. She closed her eyes.

"What if I said I didn't?" He said lowly

She opened her eyes almost instantly and risking getting cut she turned her head to look at him, it was at this point they both appeared to be in a sense of mental disruption. She figured calling him out on the events that had taken place since her release.

" I haven't been out long but I know I've bossed you around." She said

" hm? That was Luisa and regardless what she told me to do I was going to do it anyways." He replied.

"That time you hugged her in the forest of doors, you were hugged back.

" again it wasn't you and it was cold obviously, though I couldn't tell cause of my coats." He commented sincerely " next time I'll lend Luisa my coat." He joked

Alessia was about to comment but stopped when the blade was pressed into her neck the tip breaking skin as a drop of blood started to well up over the tip. She glared at him but all Ace could do was smile arrogantly, he was waiting for her to say something even if it risked deepening the shallow cut chuckled with his simple back talking of defending his knightly honor to contradict what he said about Vivaldi, maybe it was just Vivaldi in general and if so what did he categorize her under. He pulled the dagger away the privacy or lack of Alessia commented on in her mind was continuing waiting by the entrance Blood stared with a smug demeanor. Oh the comments he wanted to make was flowing through his mind,Alessia stared at him but was too embarrassed suddenly to saying anything, if Blood cared any then this would definitely be an awkward situation, she warned him to stay away which he clearly did not heed and now caught Ace and her doing...whatever Blood wanted to suspect them of doing, seriously there was no talking since to this guy.

" well well I had some questions from what we discussed awhile back but it's seems I'm intruding on something kinky." He spoke sarcastically.

"This is what you're into now Alessia, I might have to get in on that." He teased. His tone dripping in dark humor.
