Rin POV

My blonde hair obscures my field of vision. The wind is increasingly getting faster. My heart matches it's pace with the free wind, faster and faster, louder and louder until nothing else can be heard. The sun is creating a glowing effect on Len as he stands there with his eyes piercing through mine.

I take a deep breathe and force my vocal cords to speak. "Len, I have something very important to tell you." He raises an eyebrow.

I let a long pause drag. "I...you have sadly reached 100 and... um...congratulations." I try to hide my face. Damn, why am I regretting this decision now of all times? Concentrate Rin, concentrate.

"Where's the formal confession?"

I snap my head up at him. "Huh?"

"You know in those manga and anime scenarios where a girl calls a boy up to the roof to confess you know what and vice versa." his straight mouth pulls up into a smirk. He suddenly has a cocky air around him.

I heavily sigh. My cheeks are so warm. I stare deep into his glistening eyes. "Kagamine Len, I grant you my feelings of 'romantic likingness' to you. Accept them or die."

He lets out a small laugh. "I guess there's always your weird way in doing things." he runs his hand through his already-ruffled-from-the-wind-hair. "I'll humbly accept them, ex-queen of the throne."

I scowl and quickly walk towards him. He starts backing away from my sudden movement. I abruptly stop in front of him and wrap my arms tightly around him. He sharply sucks in air. His muscles are all stiff. I bury my burning face into his minty chocolatey fragranced shirt. It's such a soothing smell."You idiot King."

Len POV

Rin suddenly walks towards me with an angry face. Her cold blue eyes are contradicting with her bright red face. She wraps her arms around me so tightly it seems like she's purposely trying to suffocate me.

"You idiot king." Rin mumbles in my shirt. I smile. This is pretty nice, seeing the other polar of Rin after all, she is bipolar. I let my arms wrap around her pulling her into a more official embrace. We stand the awkwardly with the wind raging against our bodies. I let my arms fall to my sides. She's still hugging me. She really doesn't know when a hug gets too awkward.

I start pulling away and she instantly pulls into a tighter grip. "Hey hey hey, I know you love me and all but you're hugging a bit too much." She still holds on without a word. "Rin." no reply. "Rin!" I repeat. Her shoulder start shaking. She's crying... possibly over losing at her own game. I pat her head and soften my voice. "There's no reason to be grieving over a lost."

I hear whimpers slowly transform into giggles. She pushes me back and starts laughing. "Man Len, you really are what you claim to be a 'Living God.' How amusing."

I sigh. I pick up my unfinished bread and milk from the ground and start walking towards the door. Before I left, I quickly brush aside her locks of hair on her face and land a light kiss on her forehead. I smirk. It's going to be a blast teasing her all year now. I make my way down the stairs. Over my shoulder I see Rin holding a hand to her head in a daze. I snicker and leisurely stroll back to class.

"Hey Len-kun, what's with that huge smile of yours? Did something good happen?" a friend of mine pops up in front of me. He flashes his usual grin.

"Yeah I guess so."

Rin POV

After what seemed like an eternity the bell finally rang and I quickly gather my stuff. I give a death glare to the open path in front of me as I walk to the shoe lockers. I change out of my indoor shoes and rush towards the door where Len is casually strolling out, tapping on the screen of his phone. I stomp towards him and pull at white shirt.

"Hey where are you going?"

He looks up from his phone. "Home, where else?"

"I just confessed to you and you're not even going to walk me home? What if I get kidnapped or raped? It's all going to be your fault if it happens."

"Haven't I told you? No one will try to rape or kidnap you with those eyes of yours, Miss Ice Medusa." he says as he lightly knocks his knuckles against my head.

We walk along the sidewalk in the cool breeze. I adjust the muffler around my neck. I feel a hot metal brush against my skin. It clinks to the concrete. My necklace.

"Oh how flattering of you. You're still wearing that necklace I gave you." he laughs.

My face instantly turns red. I grab the necklace and shove it in The pocket of my school bag. After the continuous walk, I realize no one is around us. "Hey where are we going?"

"Home. Taking a detour because I don't want anyone seeing us walking home together. Wonder what the buzz will be if people at school saw us. But it's not like they're going to assume that we're dating because certainly who on planet earth would like to date a Medusa?"

I scowl at him. "I hate you."

He laughs as he laces his fingers through mine. His skin burns against mine. I think my heart just died. He shows a charming grin on his face. "Love you too."

Hello readers! It happened... it has finally happened! Whoohoo! I know this is a suckish ending so should I write more chapters after this one? Please let me know! Anyway, I really want to suffocate someone right now because I have so much stuff to do in October and it's coming in a few days. Ugh. Help me.
