Sakura is Gone: Her Letter

Sakura woke up and noticed Sasuke was gone…again.

Sakura walked out to the kitchen and noticed another note was placed on the table.

She picked it up and read it:

"Sakura,

I'm out early again…I'll come home by 5:00 pm, so make dinner for me,

Sincerely, Sasuke"

A tear dropped on the note.

"I'm sorry...it seems I can't make dinner for you today, Sasuke…"

Sakura wrote a note and folded it up.

She placed it on the kitchen table and smiled sadly.

She packed a few snacks and put it in her bag.

Sakura threw in a few clothes and shoes.

She sighed and zipped up the bag.

She walked out to the living room and kitchen and took one last look around.

"Goodbye…the Uchiha mansion…I hope that in another life…I would be able to live here with Sasuke again..." she smiled sadly and walked out the door.

Sakura look at the house and smiled. "Sasuke…I love you…" she whispered.

Sasuke sighed at Karin.

"Sasuke, you're going already?" Karin pouted.

"Yes, I told my wife that I'd be home by five…" Sasuke murmured.

"Whatever…tomorrow?" Karin pleaded.

"Maybe…" Sasuke shrugged.

"Ok…but I'm hoping!" Karin narrowed her eyes at him.

"Ah…see you," Sasuke hugged her before going.

"Sakura? I'm home," Sasuke murmured and closed the door.

Strangely…he didn't smell any food or feel any chakra presence in the house.

He looked at the table and saw a note.

"…a note…?" he opened it.

Sasuke's eyes widened as he read it:

"Dear Sasuke,

I know…that you're probably very confused right now…but to put it simply, I left. Yes, I left…gone…forever. I just can't take it anymore, Sasuke…I can't keep the promise of being by your side forever. I've waited five years for you…suffering in pain. And there you were…after five years, asking me to marry you…but…I thought it would be a happy life. I was dead wrong…I was hurt, in pain, I cried so many tears for you, and my heart was shattered so many times. I was so stupid to not notice that…well, I did…but I decided to marry you anyways because I wanted to help you rebuild your clan. But what bothers me…is that…I'm not the one…I'm not the one you want, not the one you desire, not the one you love. I know what you've been doing behind my back, Sasuke…and…I just hope you'll have a better life without me stopping you and her. My last wishes for you are that…I hope you'll be happy, and realize what you really want in life…and…I know that I've said this many times to you, but…I love you.

Love,

Sakura Haruno

P.S. I also hope that you'll be happy with Karin…yes, I know her name. And again…I'm really sorry…and I love you so much, Sasuke…Goodbye."

Sasuke stood in shock.

"Sakura…she can't leave…damn it! You can't leave me! I need you, Sakura!" he dashed out into the streets and into the forest.

"Report to the Hokage…Sakura Haruno and Sasuke Uchiha is missing," the jounin bowed.

"What?!" Tsunande glared at him.

"The house is empty and we have no evidence or clue whatsoever," he murmured.

"Send in Naruto and the others, immediately!" Tsunande exclaimed.

"SAKURA AND SASUKE ARE MISSING?!" they all gaped.

"Yes…so Naruto, Neji, Shikimaru, Shino, Choji, Kiba, Lee, and Sai will go on a mission to find them, got it?" Tsunande glared at them.

The girls all nodded.

"Tch…I bet it's Sasuke's fault…" Naruto's fists clenched.

"How would you know?" Tsunande narrowed her eyes.

"You have no clue?! Have you realized how much Sakura endured knowing that Sasuke was cheating on her?!" Naruto glared at her.

Tsunande sighed and shook her head.

"I knew it was a mistake marrying him…anyways…at all cost…please, find Sakura at least…" she murmured sadly.

Naruto and the boys nodded.

"Dismissed…your mission starts now," Tsunande waved her hand.

The boys all dashed out.

"Sakura chan…" all the girls stared down sadly.

"I knew something was wrong…" Tsunande sighed.

"We all did…we can't sense the happiness and cheerfulness in Sakura anymore ever since she married Sasuke…" the girls murmured.

"Well let's just hope they'll be alright…"

Sakura was walking in the forest.

She looked up at the sky.

"Now…where am I supposed to go?" she sighed and sat down under a tree.

"I already miss them...Naruto, Sai, and everyone else…" Sakura's eyes saddened.

"…and of course, Sasuke…" she murmured quietly.

"I know he doesn't love me…I know he hates me…I know I'm just a tool for him to rebuild his clan…I know that I annoy him…I know that he loves Karin…" Sakura's tears streamed down her cheeks.

"Sasuke…why do I love you so much?" she whispered.
