So, some bad news. I thought about it for a while and decided that I can't fit In Summer into the story. However, I did write you a chapter for First Time in Forever. Is that okay?

Onward and upward!

Dean and Castiel temporarily forgot their argument and turned to the strange boy.

"Who the hell are you?"

"I just told you. My name is Kevin. And I'm an AP student! Who are you?"

"Um…Dean."

"Castiel."

Dean gestured to the horse.

"This is Impala."

Kevin nodded.

"Nice to meet you. So, what are you guys doing here?"

Dean sighed.

"Well, unless you live under that rock, you've probably noticed the fire everywhere"

Kevin nodded.

"It's my brother. He…apparently has fire powers. And…he sort of unleashed them on Lawrence."

Kevin nodded.

"Oh. Would he be that guy who built the fire castle on the North Mountain?"

"How did you know that?"

"Well, he rescued me from hell. I'm pretty sure I would have noticed."

"Wait…you were in hell?"

"Yeah. With my mother. "

"Go back to where he rescued you from hell."

Kevin shrugs.

"There's not much to tell. I was in hell, working in the fields, and then suddenly…I was here."

Dean's eyes widened. "Did you see Sam?"

"Sort of."

"Can you take us to him?"

"Yeah, why?"

"I'm…I'm his brother. I need to see him, bring him back home, and stop the…the…you know, this."
Dean waved absently at the charred trees and glowing embers that bloomed like flowers on the forest floor. Kevin nodded.

"Can I come with you guys? I have to get back to hell."

Castiel blinked in shock.

"Why do you want to go back?"

"My mom. She's still there. I have to help her."

"But what if you cannot escape again?"

Kevin shrugged.

"She needs me."

It was decided that the three of them would walk to the castle, as Impala couldn't carry them all and Dean wanted to avoid fighting over who got to ride the horse when. Castiel offered to fly them, but Dean refused, saying that if Impala couldn't carry them all, a single person probably couldn't. And so, they walked. After about fifteen minutes of uncomfortable silence, Kevin cleared his throat.

"So…how do you plan to make your brother reverse the fire?"

Dean shrugged.

"I'll talk to him. I'm sure that we can work something out."

Cas turned to him, curious.

"What exactly is your relationship with your brother?"

Dean closed his green eyes for a second, thinking of running through the castle with his little brother, watching their parents leave for a hunt, laughing, their easy banter… "We used to be really close, and then…"

"What?"

For a moment, Dean remembered flames and a scream from their mother. The image faded into a closed door.

"He shut me out."

Cas reached forward as if he wanted to touch Dean's arm, but drew back at the last second.

"I'm sorry."

"No, it's fine. I used to get really upset but now…I don't really care."

His companions exchanged a quick glance that confirmed their suspicions. He was lying. Kevin smiled faintly.

"Don't worry! I'm sure your brother would totally love to talk to you. He probably just misses you. He probably was scared you'd hate him because he had fire powers. I bet he's just the nicest, coolest, cheerfulest person ever!"

There was a cracking noise from above and Dean grabbed Kevin, pulling him away from the flaming branch that narrowly missed his head.

"Thanks. I almost got crushed!"

This turned out longer than I expected but oh, well. Reviewers get cookies!
