Bella sat in her room for days, waiting for Paul to come back to her laughing and joking. Charlie peeked in her room and sighed.
"You can't do this to me again, Bells."
"Do what?"
Charlie nodded slowly his eyes dropped, "Nothing, Just go hang out with your friends"
"Sorry, Yea I- I'll go out."
Charlie narrowed his eyes. "Bells."
"Ill call someone, I'll figure it out but I gotta get ready."
She smiled and he walked out her room. Bella sighed and thought about just calling
Paul, "Ill always be there for you."
She scoffed. "If that were true you wouldn't have left me in the first place."
She thought for a moment then smiled. "And now I know how to hold you to that."
She hopped up and put on some jeans and a t-shirt. Charlie raised an eyebrow at her when she came running down the stairs.
"I'll be back." She gave him a quick hug, grabbed her keys and ran out the door. She followed the road till she remembered where she was headed. She walked through the woods till she got to the edge of the cliff.
She closed her eyes, " I hope you will be there for me."
She took a deep breath and jumped. She gasped as someone grabbed her arm and pulled her back mid jump.
"I knew it."
She was spun around, her eyes widened as she was face to face with Edward.
"What were you thinking? Bella, do you have any idea how badly that could have ended?"
"Not you."
He cocked his head at her, "What?"
She pushed away from him. " It wasn't supposed to be you...Paul said..."
"Bella. Did you remember this place?"
She looked up at him. "I don't know, it just popped in my head. I thought it would be fun."
He shook his head. "Come with me."
Bella thought for a moment. Charlie did say go out. She sighed and nodded. He turned out and she got on his back. He took off towards her truck.
He set her down and opened the passenger side. She raised an eyebrow at him but hopped in. He got in the driver's side and chuckled to himself.
"Where are we going?"
"To a different part of the woods."
She watched him as he drove, he would smirk then look at her and smile. He pulled up to the school and parked the car. "Come."
They got out and she followed him down the schools trail till they were deep in the woods. He smiled at her. " Do you trust me?"
She shrugged. "What choice do I have?"
He grabbed her and took off uphill, she held on; burying her face in his back. When he stopped she slowly look up. "This place is beautiful." admiring the purple flowers blooming.
"We use to come here...Its our place."
"And so the lion fell in love with the lamb..."
Bellas' eyes darted to Edward, he cocked his head at her and she smiled. "The lion and the lamb?"
He smiled and grabbed her hand. He walked her into the field and laid down. She stood over him for a moment and laid next to him.
They admired the sky, "I could fall for you all over again." Edwards said breaking the silence.
Bella sighed. "Ed-."
"It was just a thought." He cut in. She closed her eyes and let the cool breeze flow over her. Edward sat up and looked over his shoulder.
Bella opened her eyes and looked at him. "Whats wrong?"
He shook his head. "Nothing." He laid back down and laid his hand on hers.

Paul growled and got low. Jacob ran up to him and shook his head. "Let her go."
Paul watched as Bella and Edward laid down in the grass. "Why is it so hard?" Jacob placed a hand on his shoulder. "No one said it would be easy."
"So he won. After all of that, he won."
"She's not a prize to be won. " Jacob stated.
Paul looked at him then back towards the field. Jacob grabbed his arm and pulled him. "Lets go."
Jacob took off, Paul waited a moment before sighing and running after Jacob.
Sam raised an eyebrow at the when they ran up. Jacob rolled his eyes, "He was watching over Bella."
Sam nodded. "Paul, whatever you decide to do, do it quickly."
"What?"
"If you want her then have her. If you truly are going to let her go dont make it harder on yourself."
"I dont know what I want."
"You need to figure it out quick." Sam turned and walked in the house. Jacob patted Paul on the back. "He's right."
Leah walked up to him. "I hate seeing you like this Paul."
"I can't let her go. I made a mistake."
Paul turned and transformed and took off in a sprint. Leah and Jacob groaned. "Shall we go?" Leah asked.
Jacob laughed. "Someone has to babysit him."
They took off in a sprint and transformed after Paul. Sam and Emily both ran out the house.
"Sam?" Embry called out.
"Let them figure this one out."
The pack nodded, Emily grabbed Sam's hand and squeezed it. "It will work out."
