Hey guys! I'm so sorry for updating the story this late. I'm having a bit of writers block for this story. It's not really panning out how I first thought this story would go. I keep having new ideas for it and I try to recollect how it should come across. On top of that I have so many stories that I'm writing here on fanfiction and original stories I want to publish in the future. It's a constant back and forth. I'm trying though.
Please enjoy :)
Judy and Fiona made it down the bridge as far as they could to climb over the rope holding it together. They jumped down, Judy landing on her feet and Fiona lands in mud. Fiona couldn't keep herself steady and fell into it face first.
Judy starts to chuckle and tries to help her out. "Ew! I really really hate this place!" Fiona said spiting out dirt from her mouth.
"Come on Fiona lets get you washed up." Judy whips her muddy hands in the air laughing.
"This is not funny. Judy I know you hate me but we are not in a good position at the moment." Fiona crawls her way up.
"I don't hate you Fiona." Judy said going down a trail and Fiona follows. "I just don't like you with my brother is all."
"Well if it makes you feel any better I'm not liking it either." Fiona said.
"Oh? So why not break up with him then?" Judy asks.
"It's not as simple as you think Judy." Fiona heaves. "Cassie caught me with another guy back in France." Judy stops turning around looking dead in Fiona's eyes.
"It wasn't my idea though." Fiona continues. "It's my father's, he wants me to date an artist, if not he'll cut me off."
"Why would he do that?"
"It's a tradition in my family. If I don't follow it and don't end up marrying an artist who makes a lot of money then I'll no longer be a member of the family in his eyes I assume." Fiona tears up a bit.
"Does my brother know?" Judy said.
Fiona shakes her head. "I didn't want to because I didn't want him to think that it wasn't real at first. But I fell in love with someone. But that someone isn't who my father wants me with. But, I will tell Peter. Either way I lose my family and a good friend."
Judy only looks at her up and down in disgust and keeps walking on the trail. "Lets just find Peter and Cassie."
Fiona follows a little close behind in tears.
It was starting to get dark and Cassie agrees with Peter that they should find a camping ground soon. They came to a hill area that looked secluded of any wild creatures.
Peter started a fire as Cassie gathered more wood for later. "How's your side?" Cassie asks him.
"It still hurts but not as bad." Peter said trying to lean back against the stone wall. Cassie noticed the pain must have been worse and that he just lied. "Can I see it?" Cassie said.
Peter gives her a baffling look but he lifts his shirt up. At first Cassie noticed his abs. Wow someone's been working out, she thought. Then her eyes darted to his side. It was from the top to bottom a purple and blue bruise. "God, Peter?" She looks up at him with wide eyes.
"It's not a big deal." Peter told her. "I don't feel anything broken."
Cassie rushes over to his side slowly touching an area where an organ is. "That doesn't matter. You could be bleeding internally. This is all my fault."
Peter laughs. "Cassie, how was that on the bridge your fault?"
"If I hadn't of picked up this stupid game on the beach then none of this would've happened."
"Cassie," Peter flinches at the pain as he was trying to get her to stop. He holds her face with his hand. "None of this is your fault. It is just a stupid regular looking game. All of us didn't know that this would happen. Okay?" He reaches up to kiss Cassie on her forehead.
Cassie didn't say anything else. She only stares at him as he is looking into her eyes, really deep as if staring into her soul, her soul that cares about him so much. Cassie smiles at him. Peter caresses her cheek and goes in to kiss her. Cassie kisses him back. "But..." Cassie said into the kiss and Peter breaks away. "Fiona?"
Peter made a face when Cassie said her name. "I know. I was catching onto it actually. She and I are never together much anymore, plus she's been distancing herself lately." Peter smiles at Cassie. "I was wanting to see you. You've grown up very beautiful and smart and I wanted to know if you still had the same feelings for me."
Cassie bit her lip smiling. "Peter I've always loved you. That should tell you right now."
Peter pulls Cassie into another kiss. They are kissing harder and rougher now.
"Peter?!" A voice shout out.
Cassie and Peter stopped kissing. It was Judy's voice from below.
"Cassie?!" She shouted again.
"Judy we're up here!" Cassie shouted to Judy.
"We thought we lost you guys for good!" Fiona shouted.
Judy and Fiona can be heard climbing from where they were.
Judy goes up to both Cassie and Peter hugging them. Peter and Fiona only smiled at each other.
"Peter?" Judy said examining her brothers wounds. "These look awful."
"I'm fine." Peter kept telling her over and over again.
"Well the good news is that Fiona saw where the bridge ends." Judy said. "It should take just three hours to get there back."
"Yes I want to get rid of this game as soon as possible." Fiona huffed.
"I think Peter needs to rest." Cassie said. "We'll see how his side looks in the morning and we can head over there."
"I agree Cassie." Judy said.
Everyone went to go get comfortable turf and grass for bedding to sleep on and they all fell asleep quickly.
