A/N: It's becoming very difficult to get these chapters out. I would have stopped, but I just love writing this story so much, and getting all your encouraging reviews. Tanya is back! Once Tanya and Kate were settled in, the doorbell rang again. I was introduced to Rosalie, Emmett, and Jasper.
Rosalie was tall, blonde, and one of the most beautiful people I had ever met. Her boyfriend, and Edward's brother, Emmett was very large and muscular. He had deep brown curls and dimples. Jasper, Alice's boyfriend, was lean and blonde, Rosalie's twin brother, actually.
Edward stood by my side, avoiding Tanya, for a while. Alice had decided we would all play truth or dare. I took Edwards hand and we took our place at the circle on the carpet. Tanya gave me a dirty look as I was sitting down, and I returned it. She eventually took her eyes off mine when Alice said she would start.
"Edward, do you pick truth or dare?" Alice asked, sitting down in the circle. Edward thought for a second before choosing dare.
"Ok, Edward, I dare you to give Bella a piggyback around the house while singing 'Barbie Girl'!" Alice squealed. Edward grinned once at me before getting up. I blushed again as Edward slung me onto his back. Before Edward started to run around the house, Tanya gave a loud huff, which I ignored. I clung tightly to Edward's back, pressing my face into his shoulder, laughing at his beautiful voice singing the preposterous song. When we got back, Alice was holding her sides, rolling with laughter. Everyone was laughing, except for Tanya that is. Edward carefully pulled me off his back and kissed my head lightly before we rejoined the circle.
"Truth or dare, Rosalie," Edward asked Rosalie, who was still giggling.
"Dare, of course," she said, rolling her eyes and catching her breath.
"Ok, Rosalie, I dare you to wear Emmett's clothing for the rest of the game." Rosalie gasped in shock, clasping her hand over her mouth. She huffed before getting up and disappearing into the room where they had left there suitcases. A few minutes later, Rosalie came out wearing an oversized t-shirt, and baseball PJs. Everyone laughed at her appearance, even though she still looked like a model. She rejoined the circle, giving a Emmett a kiss before she spoke.
"Jasper, truth or dare!" She said, smiling evilly at him.
"Dare." He replied quickly.
"I dare you to massage Emmett's feet." She laughed darkly.
"Hey!" Jasper and Emmett cried simultaneously. After Alice had explained that a dare was unbreakable, Jasper eventually complied. He scrunched up his nose and rolled up his sleeves as Emmett took off his socks. Two minutes later, Jasper had had enough. He ran to the bathroom and washed his hands vigorously with four types of soap. He rejoined us with a disgusted look on his face before he shot a glance at Emmett.
"Emmett, truth or dare." He said, smugly.
"Dare, obviously." He replied, grinning.
"Ok, I dare you to wear one of Alice's dresses." He said cautiously moving away from Alice. Alice squeaked in horror before smacking Jasper on the back of his head.
"Ow! I'm sorry, Alice. A dare is a dare remember?" He replied apologetically. Alice crossed her arms, and stuck her tongue out at Jasper. A few minutes later, Emmett emerged from across the hall. Everyone started laughing uncontrollably, and Jasper had tears in his eyes. Emmet was wearing a strapless beige dress with pink polka dots. He had even put on lipstick for an extra effect. He modeled for us while Alice mumbled in frustration.
"That was one of my favourites! I'm going to have to burn it now!" She yelled, eyeing Jasper again and turning her back on him. Jasper kissed the top of her spiky head and wrapped his arms around her.
"Alice, truth or dare?" Emmet asked after he changed back into his clothes.
"Dare. Do you even have to ask?" She said, dramatically rolling her eyes.
"I dare you to not go shopping for yourself for a whole week!" Alice gasped in shock. She wrapped her arms around Jasper's neck and mocked sobbing. A minute later, she pulled herself together.
"Kate, truth or dare?" She asked.
"Truth," she replied. Alice gave a look in my direction. She winked at me, I was a bit confused.
"Tell us one of Tanya's most embarrassing moments." Alice snickered. I would enjoy this. Kate smiled before spilling her sister's secrets. Tanya turned paler and shot a hard glance at Kate which she didn't notice.
"Well, most of you were there," She said, looking around the room. "It was that one year we came to visit during Christmas time." By this point, Tanya had become even paler. She looked like a ghost.
"Anyways, Edward was underneath a doorway talking to Jasper. Tanya had realized Edward was under some mistletoe," She started laughing, recalling the memory. "She ran so fast, trying to… to, kiss Edward, she fell f-flat on her f-face." She managed to say between breathes as she was rolling on the floor with laughter. Everyone joined in the laughter. I burst out laughing trying to imagine it, she seemed so desperate. Tanya turned her face and scowled at me before leaning in to her sister's ear and whispering something. Kate rolled her eyes at Tanya and nodded quickly.
"Tanya, truth or dare?" Kate asked her, smirking at me. This couldn't be good.
"Dare," she replied, not taking her eyes off me.
"Ok, Tanya, I dare you to…kiss Edward." I think my heart stopped. It wasn't fair she got to kiss Edward before I did. Alice had a menacing look on her face. I looked up at Edward who was looking down at me. He looked annoyed. I wondered how many years Tanya had had a thing for him.
As Tanya leaned closer to Edward, while fixing her hair simultaneously, I gave her a disgusted look. Edward raised his hand in front of Tanya's face.
"I'm sorry, Tanya, I can't do that." He said gravely, not taking his eyes off me. I smiled at him and he returned the smile. Tanya pursed her lips.
"Oh, Edward, why not? Alice said so, a dare is a dare." She looked towards Alice for support.
"I think we can make an exception." Alice replied coolly. I smiled at her gratefully.
Edward leaned down towards me. His lips were getting exponentially closer. I moved forward to close the space between us. Just as our lips were about to meet, the devil herself interrupted our intimate moment.
"Bella, truth or dare." Curse Tanya and her blonde hair. I turned around to give her a dirty look. She had a smirk plastered across her face. I ground my teeth together.
"Dare." I replied, with an obvious detection of annoyance and hate in my tone. She had ruined my first kiss, with Edward.
"I dare you to keep your lips to yourself for the duration of my stay." She smirked at me and flipped her hair behind her shoulder. I wish I could've gotten up and ripped the strawberry curls from her head. I looked up at Edward; he was scowling at the air. I supposed he liked the dare just as much I did. I rolled my eyes at Tanya, and she smiled happy with her creativity.
After dinner, Alice pulled me into her room.
"I'm sorry Bella. But this is what I meant. Tanya has been after Edward for a few years now. I assure you, Bella, he likes her just as much as you do. Don't let her bother you! Now we better go back out and assign rooms." She pranced out of the door, pulling me out with her.
We all gathered in the front room. Alice decided to take lead of assigning rooms.
"Ok, people, there are four bedrooms, and there are eight of us. Jasper and I will take the first guestroom. Rosalie and Emmett can take the second. Kate and Tanya can take the third. And, that leaves Bella and Edward to share Edward's room." Alice smiled at me. I felt nervous to be sharing a room with Edward. On top of that, I realized I hadn't packed anything. I pulled Alice aside. Tanya growled at me before picking up her stuff and stomping to her room.
"Alice, I didn't pack anything." I whined to her.
"That's ok; I have that taken care of." She disappeared into her room. She came back a minute later with a bag.
"You're the best, Alice," I smiled at her. I headed to their washroom to change. In the bag was a set of PJs, a toothbrush, a pair of pale green shorts, and a pink tank top. The bag also included my blue swim suit Alice had bought me. She decided to keep them in case I tried to throw them out or hide them. I changed into the light blue PJs, and headed to the room I would be residing in.
Edward was already there, setting the bed.
"Um, I guess I'll sleep on the couch." I headed towards the couch on one side of his room. The other side was covered with a shelf full of CD's. A warm, soft hand held onto my wrist. I turned around to see Edward with an amused expression on his perfect face.
"You're not sleeping on the couch, Bella," He said softly, pulling me closer to his chest. I would've kissed him then, if it weren't for the dare. I sighed loudly.
"Well, I'm not going to make you sleep on the couch in your own house." I said, frowning. He chuckled again, releasing me. Instead he ruffled my hair.
"Bella, I'm not going to be sleeping on the couch either." He pointed towards the bed. "Pick your side," He grinned down at me. I suddenly got extremely nervous. Calm down, Bella! I walked over to the bed, and hopped onto the right side. Edward followed me, resting onto the other side of the bed. He wrapped his arms around me and pressed his forehead against mine. His emerald eyes were burning into my eyes. Even with the stupid dare, this was the happiest moment of my entire life. I stared into his vast eyes as my conscious slipped away.
A/N: Hurray! Tanya sucks, agreed? I have some more fun things I'd like to do between Tanya/Edward/Bella before she leaves. And, as promised, I'll throw Jacob in there somewhere soon. Review please, the more reviews I get, the faster the next chapter will be out!
