Naruto Story-

Here you go my poor darlings, have another chapter.

Chapter 10-

I jerked out his dream at once, blushing a deep scarlet and looking at him, waiting for his to jerk out of his dream in terror, like how you wake up from a nightmare, but he didn't, I think I even saw a ghost of a smile form under his mask. I blushed a deeper red, what was going on here? I was a murderer who he was told to capture and bring to justice, why would he be dreaming about me?! I sat still, watching the sun rise, my face still hot. Who knows, maybe there's just another girl out there he likes that looks exactly…like…me!

Yah…that's it.

Or maybe he did flip out when he saw it was me and he's only still asleep because his subconscious created a different girl to replace me, that makes sense too, just not…me…though I have to admit he is attractive and…NO! BAD TSUMI! No having crushes on the man who captured you!

I scowled at my feet, my face still really hot.

About ten or twenty minutes later the ANBU woke Kakashi up, I pretended to be asleep, though I was still blushing, I peeked an eye open and looked at Kakashi and my eyes met his for a split second before my face heated up again and I clamped my eyes shut again.

"When should we be moving out?" one of the ANBU asked.

"Let them sleep for a while longer, how about you four go ahead and inform them Hokage we'll be there soon, she's asleep, she won't be a problem."

"Yes Sir." Then they were gone.

I waited a few seconds before letting my head fall to the other side, opening my eyes and looking at Sasuke, he was leaned up against a tree about two feet from me, one leg knew drawn up and the other stretched out, his arms were crossed and his head hung down in front of him, he still didn't look peaceful, even in sleep.

"You seem to care for him." Kakashi said casually.

"He's my little brother, of course I do." I said softly.

"You could've had a better reunion than being dragged back to the village in chains." He said smartly.

"Yes, I know, but I've already become a killer and I met up with Itachi, he didn't want me to come back with him because then he wouldn't have the full incentive to want to overcome him."

"What kind of brother actually wants to put their own younger brother through all this pain?" Kakashi asked harshly.

"That's Itachi's story to tell, not mine. Besides, what Itachi did aside, he's still Sasuke's brother and he will always be there as an obstacle to overcome." I replied quietly.

We were both silent, I kept my eyes on Sasuke, almost upset that I'd have to leave after all of this was over, unless…

Maybe that would work! I smiled mentally but said nothing out loud, this was once again a plan based entirely on chance…didn't I say I was going to stop doing that? Oh well.

Kakashi pushed himself to his feet with a sigh,

"Well, better get these kids up." He said and walked over to the rest of his team, shaking their shoulders and waking them all up.

I watched him, now seeing him differently….and now I knew why dreams should not be messed with.

Too late.

I once again allowed Kakashi to change my binding and just as he was about to start dragging me himself the ANBU came back. I sighed and they started dragging me.

"How much longer?!" Naruto and I whined at the same time. I shot him an icy glare but instead of freaking out he just blinked.

"That's the same glare Sasuke always gives me!" I sighed, leave it to this kid to have Sasuke's glare memorized.

"Guess it's an Uchiha thing." I grumbled and slipped back into silence.

We were so close now, I could tell, I could sense the guards that surrounded the place, apparently here to greet me. It hit me that I was going back there where their own leader wanted to sentence me to death for something I didn't do and I dug my heels into the ground, leaning back since I had decided I needed to move my legs and started walking.

I stared at the approaching gates that Naruto and Sakura looked ecstatic to see the leaf but I looked at it in horror, leaning far away from them.

"We're here wrench." One of the ANBU snarled. I glared at him before turning my gaze fearfully to the gathering of ANBU at the gate.

I knew I couldn't get away so I took a deep breath, closing my eyes for a second before standing tall and tilting my chin back, hoping the fear wasn't visible in my eyes as I sauntered into the village.

"Is this her?" The ANBU who stepped forward asked. I glared at him, could he have been one of the ones that grabbed me all those years ago? He looked old enough…

"Yes, this is the Shadohato, also known at Tsumi Uchiha." The ANBU nodded, not even surprised when he learned my real name, which made me even more suspicious but no one else noticed though I noticed Sasuke's eyes on me, knowing why I was freaking out but trying not to fully show that he knew, which I thanked him for.

"We'll take her from here, you can take a rest for an hour and then the Hokage wants to see you." Everyone saw the gap in that at once, it was customary for the leader of the mission to see the Hokage as soon as they returned from the mission…so what's so different about…oh…I'm going to see her…great.

I groaned and I was transferred off to the other ANBU, who totally surrounded me, pulling me into the air, not wanting to keep their leader waiting. I last thing I saw of the group was Kakashi subtly restraining Sasuke from stepping forward.

When my feet hit solid ground again I was in a large circular office, in front of me was an extremely messy desk piled with papers and a stern looking woman with auburn eyes and blonde hair sitting with her hands folded, glaring at me. I glared right back, not intimidated by this woman.

"So…Tsumi Uchiha, the last female member of the Uchiha clan." She started out, I dipped my head curly and the woman picked up an old piece of paper that looked like it had been crumpled away and hidden then found again. "You were going to be blamed for the Uchiha Massacre." I winced and nodded, not hiding my disgust and hatred of that piece of paper, that was the order to capture me, no doubt about it. She looked up at me, teal meeting auburn.

"Why?" I was a little taken aback, I didn't expect to be actually questioned, I just thought they'd throw me away in some cell, never to be seen again.

"Because I was going to be the scapegoat so everyone in the village felt safe again." I said flatly, looking over her shoulder and out the window, over the roofs.

"You got away though." She pointed out. I turned my eyes on her and deadpanned.

"Obviously." I drawled, an angry vein pulsed in her temple but I ignored it. "So I'm off the prison then? Never to be seen again by my brother?" I asked, a tiny hint of sadness leaking into my voice.

"Yes." She answered plainly. I groaned,

"Fun stuff, could I at least get some paper and charcoal to keep myself entertained?" I asked pleadingly.

"Why would you need that?" I smirked.

"I'm an artist, perfectly in between views, I like my art to be admired long enough than to be forgotten." She looked confused,

"In between views?" I waved one hand awkwardly but dismissively.

"Deidara likes to think art should end with a bang, Sasori thinks art should last forever." I explained calmly.

"Deidara? Sasori?" she asked, looking totally confused. I laughed.

"Wow! You people really know nothing about the Akatsuki do you?" I asked with an innocent tilt to my head and a shining smile. She growled and waved her hand.

"Take her away." The ANBU tightened their grip again and pulled me again.

Once again, I hit solid ground suddenly but this time I was in a smelly cold compound like place, I didn't see many doors and each one was heavily guarded. I did as Itachi told me to and activated my Sharingan, a most of them just looked away but finally, the last person, right on the other side of where my ANBU guards stopped me looked out and beamed at me.

So that was the person I was supposed to break out.

I was shoved violently into the cell, my hands still chained but they changed them so there was a six linking chains in between each hand so I could move more but not by much. They locked the door and I leaned on the bars, looking across at the person. They were definitely not what I expected. She was a young looking girl, maybe Sasuke's age, a little older with long golden hair and a sweet smile, of course it was obvious why she was good for the Akatsuki, she was a perfect spy but…the question was…why. I looked at her curiously but she turned away and went back to lay down on her bed. I sighed and looked at the ANBU guarding us.

"Oi! Mask face!" I shouted. " Are we ever allowed guests?"

"Why would anyone want to visit any of you?" one of them spat, "You're all high level murderers." I blinked,

"Huh…well I have a brother in the Village so…"

"No visitors unless approved by Lady Hokage." I sighed and pouted.

"Fine, but I'm bored now…HEY! EVERYONE ELSE! WHO'S KILLED THE MOST?!" I boomed throughout the entire place.

"IT'S ALREADY BEEN DECIDED! KANZO HAS!" a deep male voice shouted back.

"Oh yah?! I bet I can beat your number Kanzo!" I shouted.

"Doubt that little girl. I've killed an entire nation." The voice, Kanzo said, he was in the cell diagonally across from me. I smirked.

"I destroy entire villages as a hobby, I think I've wiped at least one hundred and fifty villages in the past four years…not to mention all the other random missions I go on." I bragged, smiling widely.

The man laughed gruffly, "What do you know, looks like I was just out body counted by a little girl." I pouted.

"I'm not a little girl! I'm twenty-three!"

"Well you act like one girly, what's your name?" I gave him a close eyed smile.

"Shadohato." I said, telling them my alias.

"Hey! I've heard that name! Yah! You've killed thousands!" some other voice called out.

"Glad to know I'm famous." I returned with a laugh,

"I've been wondering, what's with the name? What does it mean?" Kanzo asked, leaning against his own bars, crossing his arms. I got a good look at his face, he looked older than me by about ten years and his face was riddled with scars, I smirked and put a finger to my lips.

"I can't give away my secret with all these ANBU around." I trilled.

"Huh, guess so. Since you're new you gotta know the new gossip of the village, some adviser for the Hokage, Hime something, a real fat guy with a drinking problem died of a heart attack recently. Everyone's talking about it." I raised an eyebrow curiously like it was just what they thought it to be: gossip.

"Sucky for him, but if he was fat I'm guessing he was asking for it." I said with a smirk.

"Okay that's enough!" one of the ANBU shouted. I looked at him flatly, just like everyone else, there was obviously no respect in these cells.

"Uh huh, right, so anyway what is this place? Our special little mass murderer wing of the prison?" I asked.

"No, this is the Nigeban prison." I raised an eyebrow and laughed,

"If you call it that it just makes me want to prove everyone wrong and break out." I laughed.

"Don't try, last monster who did ended up dead." Another ANBU spat. I blinked,

"Monster?" I asked.

"That's what they call us here, for example, I am Monster 7, Kanzo is Monster 6, the lovely Ally is Monster 1 and you are Monster…13 I believe." I frowned

"What happened to 2,3,4,5,8,9,10,11 and 12?" I listed of curiously.

"Dead or transferred." I nodded and yawned, at least these people weren't all bad.

I walked over to my bed and laid down, staring at the ceiling, somehow these people knew the happenings of the city, and I could use that to my advantage.

Thought there was still the problem of Ally…monster number one.
