Edward growls and flings himself at Elijah but I telekinetically catch him mid air and slam him into the pavement. Elijah is looking shocked and I yell at him to run. He doesn't. So still holding Edward to the pavement I lift Elijah up, put him in the car and compel Damon to take him back to the house and not let him leave until I get back, using fire magic to weld the car doors and widows shut.
"Why are you protecting that thing?" Edward howls at me, the cracked concrete digging into his jugular. A little more pressure and I could splinter his head from his shoulders and be done with it. But... I'm in the mood to destroy something with my hands so I let him up and blur over. He's in a headlock before he can blink and I flip over the bench nearby dragging Edward's limp form behind me. He struggles lightly but doesn't want to hurt me. Idiot. By the time Silas telekinetically pulls me off Edward his ribs, nose, arms and left leg are broken and there's a jagged and deep gash along his throat.
"Now now little girl" Silas purrs as he holds me up against the Grill wall, a good 6 feet off the ground.
I growl and counter his magic dropping gracefully into a hunting crouch.
"Get out of my way Silas" I hiss and he throws a fireball at me that I freeze mid flight and send the frozen ball back at him.
"Quite the little power pack aren't we Miss Isabella." He grins and the pavement beneath me cracks upwards but I flip up to the Grill roof sending lightening strikes as I go.
"Yes she is, isn't she Silas" a new voice hisses behind him and he spins to see an attractive woman holding a very pointy knife.
"Ketsiyah. How did you find me?" He hisses moving back.
"The travelers gave me another shot at taking you out in return for her" she grins and drives the dagger into his stomach. "But after seeing what she can do I want her for myself"
Silas pulls the dagger out of his stomach "As do I" he grins.
"Don't I get a say in this!?" I yell from the roof and both of their heads snap up. I glare at them, lightening striking the roof and the ground around them. "I don't actually care what you two or the travellers want. I care about me and my friends so suck it up and leave us alone" and with that I flip off the back of the roof and blur to the Salvatore house, where a very unhappy Elijah and a very very pissed of Klaus are waiting in the doorway.
"Hello." I say stopping short
"You really had to weld me into the car?" Is Elijah's only comment but Klaus starts on a tirade the only words I catch being "I'm going to kill you", pretty standard and "Dont ever do something like that again" followed by a hug. That was unexpected. What the hell happened while I was gone?! I mean seriously I was gone for a couple of hours and Klaus of all people is in a hugging mood?
Rebekah appears behind her brothers and she responds to my unasked question. "Haley had her baby. I think it might have broken him"
I pat Klaus' back awkwardly and he pulls away quickly muttering something about my impending death. That's the Klaus I know and loathe. Heading into the living room I see Haley, washed out but smiling holding a tiny bundle with glowing yellow eyes and fangs.
"What's her name?" I ask settling down in front of her chair
"Hope Isabella Mikaelson. After the bravest, stupidest, most insane person I or anyone else could possibly meet" Everyone starts laughing and the baby gurgles loudly at us before passing out. We all just look at her for a long time before we realize just how weird that is and strike up awkward conversations. I start working on some spells with Davina, sitting on Elijah's lap as Damon and Elena appear to eat each other's faces off and so do Bonnie and Jeremy. Seriously the only people not making out are Klaus, Caroline, Matt and Rebekah. Oh wait no, I lie, Rebekah's just kissed Matt and now their at it too. For gods sake what is it about babies that makes everyone's common sense turn to mush.
There is a banging at the door and Klaus returns and says the worst sentence I've ever heard.
"They're here."
Rebekah breaks contact from Matt and runs over to me as Elijah clutches me tighter.
There's a crash at the door and I smell traveler weapons.
"Don't open it!" I scream but it's too late, they've kicked it down. They're everywhere and all I can do is grab the people closest to me and cast a translocation spell before the travellers fill the room. Anyone I'm touching will travel with me, along with the people they are holding onto tightly. We land somewhere is Idaho according to the sign and I look at who I managed to drag with me. Haley and the baby, Elijah, my rock, Rebekah, Davina, and damn it. Klaus.
Davina spins around trying to get back. "That's no good. Only I know how to do a spell like that"
"What about the others? What about Matt!?" Rebekah is screaming at me
"They'll be safer where they are. Matt's human, Bonnie's a ghost and the others are normal vampires. The travellers have no quarrel with them. It's me their after"
"Then why the hell did you bring the BABY?!" Klaus screams.
"Because the travellers don't like new things. They'll experiment on you and on little Hope. And they wouldn't stop" I explain and Haley grips Isa tighter.
"So what's the plan?" Davina asks her eyes hopeful.
"Who said I had a plan?" I say and look around. "I don't even know where we are."
