The rain was falling down heavily and the sounds of the guns firing at the Lycani echoed through out the whole city , Umbra was taken by Shaw to fight off Shadow Wing, another general class Lycani, The one who lead the current attack.
Everyone else, including Snow were in the safe zone, a special designed place for people to take refuge during such attacks.
Location: White Star Academy , outer walls
Commander Shaw: he looked down Mother of God he was shocked by their numbers Someone give me a report!
Soldier: Sir! The Lycani are trying to break through or climb , but we're holding them at bay.
Commander Shaw: And the Shadow Wing?
A sharp sound echoed through the air
Umbra: he smiled Speak of the devil.
Commander Shaw: What! He looked at Shadow Wing as he was charging at them No you don't! He pulled his battle gloves up and stood in his way.
Shadow Wing collided with Shaw, but the commander stood his ground and did not falter one bit .
The Shadow Wing was a Falcon type general Lycani . His feet were like those of a bird and he had a pair of large wings on his back , the rest of his body was covered in feathers , even his arms were covered to the wrist. It had the head of a falcon. He was almost as big as Umbra , in his Lycani form of course, only about 0,2 m smaller. It's eyes were completely dark.
Commander Shaw: Get…away…from…MY CITY! He punched him and threw off the wall, but Shadow Wing turned around and flew upwards between the clouds
Umbra: he laughed slightly
Commander Shaw: He wasn't holding back…he looked at the arm he used to block That thing is desperate.
Umbra: You don't say he had a grin on his face , as if he enjoyed seeing this battle unfold before his eyes There are some of my EX-soldiers there as well…
Commander Shaw: Are you going to fight or just stand there?
Umbra: Patience…he was looking at the sky, the drops of rain falling on his face He sure chose a good time…he went to the edge of the wall that was facing the city
Commander Shaw: he aimed host gun at him What are you doing? He was ready to shoot
Umbra: Relax he seemed confident for some reason Tell your boys to stop shooting the clouds in hope of taking Shadow down. It's useless and you're honestly wasting your ammo.
Commander Shaw: Then what's your idea?
Umbra: he looked below Every human in the city was evacuated , right?
Commander Shaw: They'll were taken to the safe zones, why?
Umbra: Oh , nothing, I'll just invite Shadow in the city so we can talk one on one , Lycani vs Lycani his expression showed no reaction , but his eyes revealed his wish to kill
Commander Shaw: he was surprised by his words WHAT?! IF YOU THINK WE'RE GONNA LET THAT MONSTER INSIDE THEN YOU'RE NUTS! YOU'RE NOT IN COMMAND HERE! He shouted furiously at Umbra
Umbra: first of all, monster? That hurts. Second of all, I need to fight him on even ground. The army down there would be an issue and since he flies I need to bait him .
Commander Shaw: And what about the ones below?
Umbra: Don't worry…once the general dies they'll run. They will know he smiled, his Lust for blood was already too much And when I put my hand on him….I'LL RIP HIS HEAD FROM HIS BODY AND SHOWED TO EVERYONE IN SIGHT!
Commander Shaw: he was clearly frustrated -What to do….-
A loud sound echoed through the sky, Shadow Wing was preparing for another assault
Umbra: Better hurry….
Commander Shaw: he clenched his teeth then shouted EVERYONE ! STOP ALL FIRE ON SHADOW WING! FOCUS EVERYTHING ON THE ONES AT THE BASE OF THE WALLS!
Soldiers: YES SIR!
THE fire upon Shadow Wing stopped and every single bullet started flying down on the other Lycani.
Umbra: Good his body started blackening Allow me to change really quick.
His body morphed and his appearance totally changed, his eyes did not change though, but he was still, The Terror of the Night
Soldier: The Terror?! He was scared to see it
Commander Shaw: FOCUS ON THE ONES BELOW, HE'S WITH US!
Soldier: A Lycani? He had a hard time believing alright….he kept shooting
Commander Shaw: You know what you're doing ?
Umbra: Yes…his voice was different in this form , but still understandable Now….HOWL He let out a strong howl
Commander Shaw: Why'd you do that fo-
Shadow Wing showed himself and he charged straight for Umbra
Umbra: yes…..COME ON!
Shadow Wing grabbed Umbra and flew upwards
Umbra: So that's how's gonna be.
Shadow Wing stopped and tried throwing Umbra
Umbra: No you don't! He grabbed his wings and they both started falling
Shadow Wing: He was struggling to escape Umbra's grip
Umbra: he was laughing , as if he enjoyed this This is gonna hurt! He said it with a sick pleasure
The 2 crash landed in a building located in the stone district , it was a apartment building
Umbra: he got up from underneath the rubble Phew! That was one hell of a fall.
Shadow Wing: he shook his head and looked up
Umbra: he smiled Aren't you…forgetting something? He pointed at his back
Shadow Wing: he looked at his back, one of its wings got torn off and it was stuck underneath some rubble
Umbra: Not gonna fly away now…he cracked his knuckles Come on!

Shadow Wing charged at Umbra without hesitation and grabbed him by the middle , he kept running until he went straight through the wall
Umbra clearly felt that , but he smiled . His fangs showing his pleasure
Umbra: Its that all you can do?
Umbra sank his feet into the ground and began to lift up Shadow Wing
Shadow Wing couldn't do much , except to struggle.
Umbra: Going down!
Umbra smashed Shadow Wing into the ground below, making a hole that went down to the basement of the building
Shadow Wing slowly got up from that, but Umbra jumped in and slowly approached him
Umbra: he smiled How do humans say it?...OH yeah….SEE YA IN HELL!
Umbra tried charging in for the final blow , but
Shadow Wing threw a heavy piece of rubble at the sealing above Umbra , making it collapse on him.
Shadow Wing climbed out of the basement and moved the rubble that was on his torn off wing , the wing then moved and turned into a black substance that went inside his body. His wing regenerated
Umbra: ….No you don't!
Umbra jumped out of the rubble and looked around
Umbra: sniff sniff he was picking up Shadow Wing scent Trying to run?
Umbra leaped out of the basement , but as he got out.
Umbra: GAH!
A piece of rubble with an iron rod on it flew across the room and impaled Umbra's shoulder
Umbra: Damn you….
Shadow Wing was standing on the other side of the room, he did not run even though his wings are back. He got closer to Umbra and grabbed his neck.
Umbra: Damn bird….he clearly hated his situation
Shadow Wing shoved his hand inside Umbra and moved it around , as if he was looking for something
Umbra: he could feel his hand inside him, but he slowly smiled Are you...
Shadow Wing looked at him
Umbra: Looking for something? He laughed while looking at Shadow Wing
Shadow Wing backed away , looking scared as if he was looking at a ghost
Umbra: No one….can kill me now.
Umbra grabbed the rubble with the iron rod inside his shoulder and pulled it out
Umbra: That was a good try, now's my turn.
Shadow Wing tried flying through the hole they made through their crash landing .
Umbra: he laughed
Umbra ran towards him with the rod that stabbed him in his hand , but Shadow Wing took off before Umbra could catch him. But he won't escape
Umbra stood outside, the wind howling and the storm picking up , he took aim , keeping his palm on the part of the rod with rubble on it and threw it at Shadow Wing .
The rod did not change its course despite the storm and eventually it stabbed Shadow Wing through his back, just barely scratching his core
At the walls , the Lycani that were attacking from the outside grabbed their heads
Commander Shaw: -What the…he was confused as to what just happened with the Lycani This must be Umbra's doing-
Back at Umbra
Shadow Wing fell from the sky and landed somewhere on the street , he was barely standing and he looked heavily disoriented .
Umbra walked to him and looked at him.
Umbra: he smiled Did I got your core?
Shadow Wing stared at him , his eyes filled with disgust towards Umbra
Umbra: Don't gimme that look….he smiled , his expression showing a sadistic intent let's have some fun..
Umbra knocked Shadow Wing on his back and ripped off his wings, Shadow Wing screamed , but Umbra quickly grabbed him by his neck.
Umbra: Funny…when we're soldiers we can easily escape such situations, but once we evolve we lose the ability to fully make our body fluid . We're trading that for strength…and we can be broken easily.
Umbra punched him with his fist so hard that it cracked the ground below them , again and again , Umbra's face revealing the thrill and satisfaction he felt as he was smashing Shadow Wing's face.
At the wall
Commander Shaw: Their fight quieted down he seemed troubled for some reason I WANT A SQUAD OF 10 TO GO CHECK OUT THE GENERALS!
Back at Umbra
The Shadow Wing was done for, Umbra's repeated hits broke its peak and he used his claws to heavily wound him, even though he was regenerating , Umbra dug in his chest
Umbra: There you are!
Umbra grabbed Shadow Wing's core and tried to pull it out , Shadow Wing grabbed Umbra's hand trying to stop him, but it was in vain.

Multiple foot steps began approaching
Soldier A: FREEZE!
Soldier: DON'T MOVE- MOTHER OF GOD!
They were both amazed and terrified by the imagine of Umbra slowly killing Shadow Wing
Umbra: Good…a public he kept pulling the core
Soldier A: Good Christ …..he backed away
Umbra: he was ready to completely pull the core Wait he stopped My queen has to see this….his eyes blackened
Location: Safe Zone
Snow: gasp -What…- she was once again connecter with Umbra -What's that….-
Umbra: -This is what your order made possible…-
Snow: -My order….- she was frightened by the imagine before her , the proud general, beaten and dying slowly
Umbra: -Yes, but it has not yet been completed…-
Snow: -What?-
Umbra: -Watch- his hands started to move , one had the core and the other one grabbed Shadow Wing by his head
Snow: -What are you-…-
Umbra: -For you….a sacrifice- he crushed Shadow Wings core
Shadow Wing's struggled before his core was crushed, but now he was completely dead and his body slowly melting
Snow: -You killed him….- she was frightened , her own words brought the end to a life
Umbra: -Now….- he grabbed Shadow Wing's head and ripped off
Snow: -gasp- she let out a quick gasp as she started to tremble at the sight she was witness to
Umbra raised the head , showing who won and who died.
Soldier C: Good….mother of….he was trembling in fear and terror M-monster…
Umbra: HOWL He let out a strong howl that could be heard through out the city
At the walls
Commander Shaw: What the?
The Lycani looked disoriented and started to flee towards the woods
Commander Shaw: Do not let them run!
Soldiers: Yes sir!
They kept firing and managed to kill more of them, but most of them escaped
Commander Shaw: -Umbra must have something to do with this. That howl ….- he activated his clock To the squad present at the Terror's location, capture him, alive.
Back at Umbra
Soldier: yes Sir! He just received the order Everyone! Get him!
The soldiers pointed their weapons at Umbra
Umbra: -Snow?-
Snow: she was completely shocked and scared out of her mind by Umbra's actions -I…..-
Umbra: -Snow….do I go willingly?-
Snow: -I….can't do this…-
Umbra: -I'm just asking, by your order I could kill them-
Snow : -NOOOOO- She screamed -No more….death….-
Umbra: he seemed disappointed , then he turned to the soldiers and put the head down , he then put his hands up I'm all yours.
Snow: -What…. – she was surprised by Umbra's actions
Soldier B: Did he just….talk?
Soldier D: Doesn't matter! Let's put him away.
The soldiers surrounded Umbra and escorted him back to his cell while pointing their guns at him, ready to shoot at any time. Umbra did not resist or even talked during this and so he ended back up in a cell.
