STEVE'S P.O.V.
The water was cold then I surfaced gasping for air. I looked around looking for land when I saw this hammer thing coming towards me. I tried to swim fast as I could out of its path. Then a hand grabbed my shoulder I tried to push it off and fight. That was when I realized it was Thor.
"Aye Captain I may say that was a risky move!" His voice was almost British or Scottish.
"The plane was crashing and I was not in the mood for another nap."
"HAHAHA Captain you have a good sense of humor!" And his voice is very loud like he is shouting but I think that is just how he talks.
"Do can you get me out of the water it looks like we are nowhere near shore."
"Aye captain it would be my honor to help you!"
"Thanks- WHOA!" He grabbed me and we were out of the water in no time. Next thing I know we are flying towards the shore at record speeds; I don't know how he is flying with this hammer thing. It took us not time to be back on land and with the rest of the team. "Fury what happened to the plan?"
"The plane was hit a metro magnetic field so we lost power and had to crash land. But my question is why you jumped off the plane?"
"I didn't want to take another long nap."
"Ah you don't want to go to sleep cause then something could happen to your soulmate if you were to be asleep. Plus then you wouldn't be able to say 'hi' to an old friend."
"I thought everyone I knew was dead?"
"How about Margaret Carter, the founder of SHEILD? She is here she had to make sure that one of our best agents got home safe and sound."
"Sh-She is here?"
"Yes at our base a little ways from here."
"S-So I can say hello and get to talk to someone I actually know?"
"Yes captain, now we better get going before we get spotted." I nod my head as we walk towards two blacked out SUVs. I get into the passenger seat of the first one, or whatever they call these things and this seat. It's confusing to be so out of time, but Peggy and my soulmate are going to help me through it.
We finally arrived to the base but I didn't look like any base I have ever seen. I looked like weird old almost like a 1 story business office. We walked in and took a hidden elevator down to where the real base. It had lots of what they call computers with tables and chairs, there were many doors that had names with a glass you couldn't see through. Then I saw the one that had Peggy's name on it, it was nice to see something familiar in this new world. I knocked on the door and I heard it voice, to me it had felt like only a day or so had gone by but in reality it has really been 70 years.
"Come in!" I opened the door, she looked a lot older and she also looked really tired. When she looked up her facial expressions became almost sad but very happy. "Steve?"
"It's me Peggy, I'm really here."
"You look just the same as when I lost you."
"You are still so beautiful. My I ask why you are here?"
"One of our top agents had gone missing, Natasha Romanoff also known as the Black Widow."
"That is ironic."
"Why is that?"
"We found out Natasha is my soulmate, funny how small the world is."
"It seems like it, I'm happy for you that you get a chance to have a person you love like me. After you crashed the plane I meet my soulmate in my work place. I know have two children and my grandchildren."
"I'm happy for you and I want to keep getting caught up, but I need to make sure that Natasha is safe first it's my top priority."
"I understand that, we have been pulling up satellite images to see if we can find her."
"And, do you have anything yet?" I didn't want to be so rushed with her but Natasha could be in danger and I cannot let myself no she is in danger.
"We saw movement of two people, but we also saw people moving in on her position. I'm sorry to say but we think she and the other person she was with were captured." It hurt when she said that what if they killed her I promised myself I wouldn't let anything happen to her.
"D-Do you know if she is still okay?" I was tense and shaky because she was in danger and right know there is nothing I can do.
"We have been following the car she was taken in. The good news is that we think the other person may have gotten away."
"Why is that good news, the only good news I want to hear is that she is safe and sound."
"Steve... I know this is hard but right know you need to keep a clear mind we can only help her by being patient."
"You and I both know when it comes to someone being captured there is not much time. For all we know they could already be torturing her."
"If we get to the person she was it we may be able to find her location."
"Then let's go get her I will get the team ready to move you keep us informed." She nods her head and I get the team back in those black SUV thing and we speed of to where that person was last seen.
We finally get to the location, we don't see anyone yet but then Toby pulls out this weird machine. It starts beeping and then it looks almost like a human body that is red and yellow.
"Got something?" We get to the person it is a young looking women in ripped clothes that are dirty and have blood on it, an alarming amount too.
I want to make sure she is safe, "Ma'am are you okay? You have a lot of blood on your outfit we're not here to hurt you we also want to know about the person you were with?"
"It's not my blood and if you think you can get me to give her up your dead wrong anyways someone has her."
"Ma'am I don't want to hurt Natasha, she's my soulmate."
"Oh... But her name is my Natasha."
"I know ma'am her real name is Natalia, and I need your help to save her."
"She was kidnapped by the red room that found out she was here. I was supposed to put a bullet through her head but instead I put one in the fake father."
"Ma'am what do you mean by fake father?"
"In the red room he man that runs the program has us call him father. He said he was giving us a second chance on life, that no one apse can love us. Natasha was his right hand 'man' so he was the cruelest to her so she would stay loyal. If she believed that everyone she loved was dead and that no one else would ever love her she would stay. He said no one could ever love a killer like her, I think after a while she started to believe it was true.
"They took her to one of the red room not to far from here but you will have to approach with caution. Oh and last think call me Dakota not ma'am."
"Okay... Dakota, do you know where she could be?"
"Yeah but if we go in guns blazing they will kill her before we get anywhere near her."
"Is there a way we could get in?"
"Yes there are 4 people plus I can, we can disguise as red room people the SWAT kind and save her."
"Can we trust these people how do we know they won't hurt her and why can we not go in to make sure she is safe."
"First you guys don't know red room protocol and second these people will do anything to save her. When she though father killed the 5 of us she was wrong even when she was brainwashed she would still save us."
"Okay, how fast can they be here this is top priority."
"Get us to you base let me make a call you guys pick them up they will bring the outfits and we can move out immediately." I nod my head, that is when it hits me these are the people she loved that she thought was dead. I was happy to know that she was no longer alone, I would be with her no matter what.
"Then let's go make that call we need to get her out of there as fast as we can." I walked back to the black SUVs I got in and Dakota was on the phone talking in what sounds like Russian.
"They are ready to be picked up they are getting the uniforms, they want to know where the point is where we should meet."
That is when Fury answers, "Tell them to go to the park in Volgograd there is only 1, and tell them to be there with the outfits in 30 minutes maximum."
She tells them this in Russian, "They say they can be there in 15."
"Got it, get the car there in 15."
They had Hill go to pick them up; when they finally get here they are dressed in all black very weird uniforms. I have never seen guns like these but I figure that this is the world now.
They come up to me to talk, "Hello, my name is Nicholas. I was told you are my sisters soulmate," I nod my head to let him know that he is correct, "I'm sorry we cannot let you come in tight away but once we clear the room you may come in. We are not only on a rescue mission but we are also going to take down this red room."
"Thank you for letting me comes in with you."
We all get in the car they all head in first they are allowed in because of their card and uniforms I wait till they say they are good. About ten minutes later the machine thing in the car beeps and they tell they have cleared and taken down enough rooms. I walk in with my uniform and shield. I look through the rooms looking for her when we see hear a buzzing sound and grunts of pain. When I turn I see the rest of the team then we are attacked.
"If you try to fight us we will kill the spy." Then they grab Peggy we are pushed into a room.
"I will make you Americans a deal, you may save your founder, or you may save this Russian spy. She is a high ranking KGB and red army officer. She is a very good assassin and very good at her job. You choose save your American or this Russian spy." The deal was not a good one; we couldn't even see the other women's face. None of us said anything right away then fury spoke up.
"We will save the American."
Then he takes off the women's thing that was covering her face, it's Natasha. I want to jump of and save her; she is covered in blood, bruise and dirt. She is paler than I remember and she looks like she had been tortured for a long time. They put her in this metal chair she looks almost out of it. Then he presses the button; her body is trying to get away from it she jerks it away from it she looks like she is in so much pain.
NATAHA'S P.O.V
They had beaten me father had hit me with the metal fits. He wanted me to tell him who and where the Avengers are.
"Natalia do not make me ask again where the avengers are."
I just stared at him he punched over and over again not only to my face but to my stomach. Than he grabbed a knife and jabbed it into my leg a winced in pain; but again I would never give them up they were my family they are my family.
"You know how this goes Natalia I keep I keep hitting you and eventual you won't be able to tell what is reality or not and you will tell me everything. Including what SEILD knows on the red room everything you told them."
Now he was getting calm which meant hell like the old saying it gets very calm before it all goes down.
After about 10 more hours of this I still wouldn't give him anything. Then I heard something it sounded like someone is trying to break in. Either that or I really am in for a ride, but he better know that even if I am not w good person I won't sell out the people who got me out of this hell hole.
Then they put this black thing over my head and I hear him talking to people about this deal. Then they take off the mask and I see everyone I know in the room. Apparently they choose Carter over me but at the same time she is a lot better of s person than me and they didn't really know who I was. Then they put me in a chair its metal and cold, yes I have been in one for a while but I was just cold and wet because when you're on metal and wet it makes electrocution a lot more painful. So I figured it was electrocution chair plus they poured water on me. Then they pressed the button I tried to get my body away from it I arched my back because of the pain. I have been torture countless times but it's been a while sense it's been this brutal. Then they did it again and again, I notice how everyone looked like they were having a hard time watching then I saw Steve, my soulmate. He looked like he was ready to get up and fight. I looked straight into his eyes those blue eyes. I could see color I could see everything in color.
Then father had someone bring in a tv; why would he be bringing out the tv are we going to watch a tv show or something? "I think I should let everyone in here know who the real Natalia is, the person behind the 'Black Widow' mask." Then he started playing a video it was… me but I was a child I was running and laughing I looked so innocent. "How about the child that innocent child she was so young and free."
Flashback
"Natalia my daughter come on lets go its getting dark and I don't want my daughter in danger." it was my father Vladimir Romanova; I turned and saw my mother.
"Mama come play with us." My mother was Alianovna Romanova they said she had the same color hair as me nut my green eyes come from my father.
"No my child we must go inside and get ready for tomorrow it's the gala don't forget. Oh and Nicholas don't forget to be on good behavior." Nicholas is my twin brother he has black hair like my dad and his same green eyes but he looks like my mother with his very pale skin like mine. We have been best friends sense we were born well him and a few others.
"But mama Dakota, Viktor, Sofia, and Anton are coming over."
"Please mama and papa we want to play with our friends."
My father smiles at us, "Let's let them play for a little bit longer eh?"
"Fine you two have 10 minutes to play then you must come in for diner."
"Yay!" we both shout in unison as we run towards our friends.
"Talia, Talia, Talia lead us your Royalty!" They all shouted in unison. All of us someday would lead our country my brother always said I would be the good leader but I always thought he would be better suited. But then again all of are only 5-8.
Then father showed pictures from my first kill mission; I was only 7 when I pulled the trigger. They showed a clip I was in all black to stay hidden, it was night and I was a sniper on another building. I don't remember why but I had to pull that trigger. They showed when I got back and I cried and yelled and asked them why I had to kill the man. He had a family and they had to and his body.
I still told him nothing even when he was sharing everything that I had spent the last 10 years hiding. Then father pressed it this time it was very high and my head fell-
STEVE'S P.O.V
They kept pressing the button putting her in more pain, I hated watching it.
Then she looked me straight in the eyes those sparkling green ones. Now I could see everything in color I could see all the red covering her face all the blood? How bad they really did beat her with all the bruises except they were more a bad red they were split so bad. Then the man they said was father pressed the button and her head fell and she stopped moving and I could no longer see color.
I whispered just loud enough for a few to hear but not that man "no, no, no, no..." I kept repeating it I was so angry this man took her from me. I was pulling on the chains I wanted to break loss so I could break his neck. I was filled with rage but also with absolute pain; I could no longer feel her presence I wanted to just yell and cry. It hurt so bad that I became numb; I was like the room was spinning or someone had given me drugs. I just looked at her tears slowly forming in my eyes. Natasha was the only one let that I could love and now she is dead. That is when I knew that if she did not leave this room this man wouldn't either. He was a coward and he shall pay for what he did to her.
