Epilogue

Everyone was silent, as they all stared at Haruhi with wide eyes, as her saying that she was pregnant, was the last thing they expected to hear, and Hikaru, who was standing right in front of her, looked a little faint in the face.

While Haruhi, who was the one who had said it, just stood there, giving them all a weird, raised eyebrow look, wondering when they were going to say something, at least something to get her out of the center of attention. As though, now that they knew she was pregnant. She kind of knew that her getting out of the spotlight was impossible.

Their friends in the background didn't even say anything and were as still as statues. And Haruhi could have sworn she was beginning to hear crickets. She sighed and looked at Hikaru, who was now current boyfriend again.

Hikaru, looking a little blue, gaped his mouth open. He was still silent for a long time, looking at his girlfriends face, then looked down at her stomach, to which looked just the same as when the last time he looked at it. It was small, and she didn't look like there was anything there.

He swallowed hard.

"You're... pregnant?"

Haruhi merely nodded.

Hikaru still looked confused.

"But... how?"

This time, all of their friends face-palmed, (yes... even Kyouya) from Hikaru's idiocy, not believing that he could really be that stupid. Haruhi's shoulders twitched as she just stared at him, though while looking nonchalant, inside Haruhi had the urge to smack him in the back of his head, just to help him a little to regain his memory.

"Hikaru..." she started, trying to make it easy, as she looked rather flustered. "You uh... you're not serious, right? you do now how... it happened."

"That's not what I mean! I know how it works..." scowling, Hikaru continued to look at her stomach, still not totally sure what he had just heard, even if she had said so. The idea just wasn't sinking in completely. "But... how? we were broken up for over two weeks, how are you...?"

Haruhi wanted to scream. She blamed the hormones... "Hikaru, babe, you do now what we did... right?"

Tamaki looked at his "daughter" completely horrified. "Haruhi! don't say things like that in front of your daddy! I don't want to be apart of any of that information!"

Haruhi didn't even looked around to speak. "Tamaki, honestly, you're ease-dropping on our conversation. Not much I can tell you..."

Tamaki backed away, sulking.

Kaoru shook his head. Honestly, his brother was an idiot. And Haruhi wants to have a kid with... Him? Kaoru felt sorry for his future niece or nephew.

Answering Haruhi's question, Hikaru glared at her stomach now, as if her tiny (not even noticeable) bump, had insulted him somehow. "I-... I know what we did, but... not recently! how are you pregnant? when I haven't even touched you?"

Haruhi didn't even want to reply this time but her blush was clear on her face. "...Because Hikaru, two months ago we were not broken up, which is when... you know, which is when it got there."

Hikaru narrowed his brow at her suspiciously. "If you were pregnant starting as two months ago why didn't you tell me?"

Haruhi closed her eyes. "Because I didn't know then either. I just found out a few days ago..."

"...Why didn't you tell me then?"

"You weren't answering me phone calls! so..." Haruhi shrugged. "I just avoided it. Dad knows, though... now he doesn't like you."

It was Hikaru's turn to face-palm since everyone, by this time, had done it at least once. He looked at her stomach once more time. He felt bad now. He remembered Haruhi calling him three times in one day at different times, but he ignored it, not wanting to talk to her. He pouted slightly, as he looked back up at her face, which looked a little aggravated.

He wondered why.

Biting him lips, he looked over his shoulder, their friends were still there. Kyouya seemed to be writing something in his portable tablet he carried, Tamaki, Mori and Huni just stood there looking anxious to know what happens next, and Kaoru... was still standing there, twitching as he gave him a hopeless expression.

He wondered why to that also.

"He cleared his throat, suddenly his face had drowned in a light blush, just as his... fiancée? was. He turned over and grumbled to the others.

"Uh... could you give us a second?"

At the second he said that, Kaoru was the one to shove everyone away, back into the apartment from which they came out of before running into the couple. Hikaru and Haruhi watched them pushing one another into the building, and watched until they were out of sight before looking back at each other.

Haruhi raised her eyebrow at him, confused as to why he had called them away, as the conversation now seemed more awkward, with it being just them. She caught his weird stare again. "...What?"

He looked at her some more, and his face turned into a disturbed scowl, it stayed as such for a few long moments, until the information that his now fiancée was pregnant, which was then that his face finally cracked into a smile, then a large goofy grin.

Talk about lighting two candles with one flame.

Haruhi blinked, taken aback by his many facial expressions, so much that she was about to ask what was wrong with him, until she realized that the information was just now settling into his mind. Then she was concerned, thinking that maybe his reaction would turn on her, and he'd be completely horrified that he was going to be a father so soon. (They weren't even married!) As they hadn't ever really talked about children in their future.

Well, you witnessed how long it took him to propose... why would he just suddenly jump into the talk of having babies?

But as she looked up to ask what he though about it, but she stopped herself momentarily, as the look on his face that seemed to stay there the longest, was clearly just joy.

Then, when she wasn't looking, Hikaru suddenly yanked her forward into his arms, forcing her into a sudden kiss of pure passion, even more tenderly then the one before. He reluctantly pulled away from her a few moments later after she was pushing against his chest to indicate that she needed to breathe.

He looked down at her and smiled warmly, still holding her close. "I'm glad... now we don't even have to wait when we get married."

Haruhi snorted, being pulled into another kiss. "I guess not."

"We should name it after Kaoru~"

She rolled her eyes in sarcasm. "Sure Hikaru... whatever you want."

Two days had passed by for the newly engaged couple, and in those two days, Hikaru had to (Tamaki had informed him) get Haruhi a ring, since he didn't propose to her using one, and Haruhi had successfully grown more attention form friends and families then she could care for, being the first one to carry part of the next generation of the Host-club.

Being completely fine with it, Hikaru had a hard time picking a ring that was perfect for Haruhi (Since he bought all the rings the store had that he thought were perfect for his Haruhi) but eventually he found one, with Kaoru's help, since he drug his brother on the hellish shopping spree with him.

Now the couple couldn't be happier, and Hikaru could barely believe that a mere four days ago, he was sulking about not having a girlfriend anymore, when now, he was sitting with his fiancée, who was pregnant. He was amazed at how fast things could change so dramatically in three days.

He was almost scared to see how much things would be different in the next seven months.

He'd be married (hopefully) and be a father.

That was more of a commitment than just asking your girlfriend to marry you!

No he was stressed out...

Sitting on his lap, with her chin cupped between his two fingers, Haruhi held his fiancé's other hand securely in her as he kissed her gently on the lips, repeatedly, having nothing else batter to do he said... She stopped a second she opened her eyes to see a look of discomfort on his face.

She narrowed her brown in concern. "What wrong now?"

Not wanting her to get the wrong idea, Hikaru pulled away slightly and merely shook his head, smiling as he entwined their fingers like lace. "Nothing... I was just thinking."

Making a hum sound to dismiss the topic, Haruhi rolled her eyes as he pulled her face down for one last kiss before he slumped against the cushions of the couch, she snuggled against his chest, laying her head on his shoulder.

"Dad wont be here until morning he said." she mumbled randomly, feeling him lift her hand up to kiss her knuckles. "He doesn't know you're here though..."

"He's forgiven him," Hikaru stated smugly, nuzzling his cheek against her hair as he squeezed her hand adoringly. His face fell. "Under firm circumstances, to which most involve threats, by the way."

"Wonderful," Haruhi mused out loud, taking a deep breath as she laid her hand on her tiny stomach, to which six month old pregnant bellies would put to shame if saw by them. She looked back up at him and questioned with a humorous snicker. "Anyway... Kaoru mentioned that you wanted to move in. You aren't bothered at the thought dad might do something to you in your sleep?"

"Actually, I was thinking we'd move in, in the apartment me and Kaoru are in right now," Hikaru muttered, his breath made her bangs flutter across her forehead. "We'd be next door neighbors with Kaoru. He also mentioned something about him being the best and most reliable babysitter we'd ever find."

Haruhi rolled her eyes, shifting her weight on his lap, relaxing completely when she got comfortable. "I guess that could work."

"And Ranka could come over whenever he wanted, the apartment is only a subway away from here."

"Yeah, he'd be happy about that," mumbling, Haruhi wiggled oddly on his legs and interweaved her fingers through his again, and made a weird face when his hand landed on her stomach. "...Have you called your mother at all? is she already planning on making this glorious wedding dress of the century or something?"

"I think Kaoru is going to have to wrestle her to be the one to do that," Hikaru snickered, nuzzling his nose to her ear. "She'll probably have to settle for bride-maids dresses and honeymoon gowns, and stuff like that."

Then, just as if it were on cue, Hikaru's phone buzzed angrily from the coffee table in front of them. He scrunched his face up as the nice moment between them was suddenly interrupted, and was even more perturbed to have Haruhi wiggle out of his grasp to fetch it for him, because she knew that if she didn't, he'd just ignore it.

'It's your mother." She said in amusement, holding the phone out to him until he took it, and was about to sit back down to sit next to him, but Hikaru pulled her by her waist and sat her right back down on top of him.

Rolling his eyes in wonder to why he couldn't have any personal time with his girlfriend, Hikaru waited for the ringtone to last a little longer before sliding the lock on his phone, answering the call. silence came from the other side.

"Wonderful timing as usual, mom." He sighed exasperatedly, putting the phone call on speakerphone. But silence was all they heard. "...Mom?"

"Oh hi honey," Yazuha's cheery voice piped up form the speaker, her voice became a little muffled as she seemed to be talking to someone else, but she quickly focused her attention to them again, after saying something along the lines of ' no, no, no, the colors all wrong. it's suppose to be pink, not maroon'. "Sorry, mommy working, Kaoru just told me that you guys have something important to tell me, so... I called."

"Of course he told you that," Hikaru grumbled, picturing his brother and mother gossiping about weddings and babies. "It's kind of important I guess, uh... me and Haruhi...er-"

Haruhi rolled her eyes. "We're getting married."

Hikaur shot his fiancée a harmless glare and pouted when his mother on the other side, squealed loudly into the speakers, causing a ripple of static to be sent trough the couples ears. He sighed and held the phone away from both of them, glaring, waiting for his mother to stop talking to her employee's about what they had just told her.

Gossiping, as you can see, runs in the family.

After a few long moments, Yazuha returned to the phone, snickering as one of her employees began to talk about wondering what to Hikaru so long to finally do it. Apparently everyone was waiting for him to do something for a long time. He sighed.

"I'm so excited! Hikaru I've been waiting for ages for you two to get hitched." his mother said, and she began on a long rant about wedding clothes, and what she was going to wear to it, and especially what Haruhi was going to wear to it. "Goodness, I though Kaoru was going to get a girlfriend and get married before you even proposed. Hahaha!"

He didn't think anything was funny.

Then there was silence. Before Yazuha's voice slowly crept back to the phone.

"...Haruhi's pregnant, isn't she?"

Hikaru was horrified.

"What!? mom! n-... no!"

"..."

"..."

"She is, isn't she?"

"...Yeah."

This time, Hikaru didn't even bother to move away the phone, as Yazuha squealed again, and her voice was muffled once more as they heard her tell her workers that she was finally getting a grandbaby. Haruhi overheard her and flustered massively.

"Mom..." Hikaru tried to talk to her, but she wasn't listening, as she continued to babble uncontrollably.

"I can't wait to finally release the children's line I've been working on! I've been working on it for ages."

"...Mom."

"Ooooh, and Haruhi's reception dress is going to be so pretty! lot's of glitter, make it like dark blue or purple, it'll math the brides-maid dresses."

"Mom..."

"How far along is Haurhi? is the baby going to be there for the wedding? should I start on it's outfit too? what is it, a boy or a girl? mama has to know theses things."

"Mom, could-"

"Oooh, and when it's born it'll probably be pretty little at the wedding, it'll be so cute! If its a girl I have the cutest ideas-"

"Mom!"

"What?" Yazuha muttered irritably, annoyed that she was interrupted. "Hikaru, don't raise your voice at me young man, I brought you into this world and I could easily take you out of it just as fast."

Not even going to apologize, Hikaru shook his head and held the phone tightly in his hand, rubbing the bridge of his nose with his other, hearing Haruhi's muffled snort from beside his face as she got comfortable in his lap again.

"Actually mom, we weren't planning on the baby being there," he grumbled, laying his hand over Haruhi's, which was placed delicately on her tiny budding stomach. "I wanted to ask you something else too..."

She got interested. "Hmm~?

"...How fast can you plan the wedding?"

Okay, to be honest, this story wasn't suppose to be this long, I just meant for it to be a silly little five-chaptered story inspired by the song "Wrapped Around" by the country singer 'Brad Paisley' I didn't plan on having them on a hot-air-balloon ride, and I didn't plan on them going to the river, I didn't plan on Hikaru and Haruhi breaking up, and I didn't plan on Haruhi being pregnant. It was fun to see where the story took off. I enjoyed writing it.

I know there are some minor mistakes throughout the story, (mostly grammar related) but I plan on fixing all the chapters to make sure they are mistakeless in the future, when I have time. A few of you requested a sequel, and I have a tiny idea as to what the story could be about, but I wont write it unless enough people seem interested to actually read a sequel. I don't want a story just floating around that no one is interested to read. If you know what I mean.

So just incase I don't write a sequel, here is a profile of the formal host club members in the future and what happened to them down below, if anyone in interested.

Thank you for reading.

Tamaki - who was mentioned in the earlier chapters, is married, to 'Ayame Jounochi' they are married for three years before they have a son, who looks like the splitting image of his father. Blond hair and deep violet eyes and all, they named him 'Haruo' inspired by his loving daughter 'Haruhi'. He and Ayame contemplated on having more children, and after another year, they had a daughter named 'Kyoko' Her named of course was inspired by non other than his best friend. And when Kyoko was in highschool she fell for Kaoru's son. To her father's horror, he had lost yet another daughter to one of the twins. Making the Suoh's related to the Hitachiin's by their children's marriage.

Kyouya - Kyouya, who hadn't been mentioned to be in any relationship, got married to 'Range Houshakuji' and together they had a totally of three girls, who unfortunately for Kyouya, two of them act just like their mother, being extreme Otakus. After the third daughter, Kyouya, even though he loved them all, didn't want to take another chance, and decided just to adopt a son to pass on the family name. Their eldest daughter named 'Hitomi' their middle child named 'Izumi' and their youngest daughter named 'Kameko' who was the one who respects their father the most and had inherited his personality. They named their son 'Satoru' ~ His second eldest daughter 'Izumi' soon feel for Mori's son, and the Ootori's and the Morinozuka's families became related by their marriage.

Huni - It wasn't mentioned, but Huni was the first formal host club member to get married. His wife being the formal member of the black magic club, 'Reiko Kanazuki'. They had two children together, the first being a boy, who grew up to be taller than his father, they named him 'Ryuu' He sports his mothers looks, and two years later, they had a daughter, who they named 'Hana' who looked like her father. Bright blond hair and a baby face. Hana, when in middle school, fell in love with Tamaki's son, 'Haruo'. Making the Suoh's and the Huninozuka's related by their children's marriage also.

Mori - It wasn't mentioned that he was in a relationship, but he eventually got married to his long term girlfriend from college. They waited three years before having children. They had two boys, their eldest being named 'Shoji' and their youngest son being named, 'Takao'. Shoji, with his fathers handsome features, fell in love with Kyouya's middle daughter and got married right out of college.

Kaoru - After being single for longer than a year, Kaoru finally found his match, after two months of Hikaru and Haruhi's marriage. He got married to a red haired maiden named 'Ayumi' and like his brother, the two of them didn't wait long to have children, as five months after their marriage, They had a pair of twins. One a boy and one a girl. to which they both inherited their fathers look, having fiery red hair. their son was named 'Hiro' and their daughter was named 'Harumi'. Hiro fell in love with Tamaki's daughter 'Haruo'. Kaoru was non the less as horrified to find out that he was going to become related to Tamaki. The last person he'd think he be in-laws with.

Hikaru and Haruhi - After a long, stressful pregnancy, Hikaru and Haruhi had a baby girl, who adopted Hikaru's hair, and Haruhi's eyes. And just as Hikaru threatened, he wanted to name her after his brother until the day she was born, but it was then that Kaoru said that there was only allowed to be 'one' Kaoru, and since she was a girl, they just ended up naming her 'Kaori'. Kaoru said that, that would suffice, and not even a year later, Haruhi became pregnant again. they had a boy next, and they named him 'Yuichi'. After Kaori was in high school, she fell in love with Kyouya's only son. And of course the Hitachiin's become related to the Ootori's by their children's marriage.

And thus the formal Host Club members were all related to each other in the end by marriages.

The End
