Authors Note: Everyone really seems to want more, so more is what you shall receive :) Sorry for the long wait, being an adult is hard and I will try my best to get back on schedule. Enjoy!

Rory's POV:

*ring*ring*ring*

"Hey Mar whats up? I figured I wouldn't hear from you until later?"

"Can I ask you a favor?"

"Of course. What's going on?"

"I need you to come and help me move my things, sooner rather than later."

"Okay I'll be right there. Why are we moving your things and to where?"

"I'll explain when you get here."

*Later*

"Okay, I see why we need to move your things. But now I have a whole new set of questions."

"Paris. Need I say more?"

"No, no you do not, but it would help."

"I kind of got voted editor of the Yale Daily News today and she thinks I arranged it. And now I've been sitting here with my sad looking books and my other pathetic looking possessions waiting for you to show up and help me move everything. "

"And that leads us to my second question, where are we moving your stuff to? I'm sure there aren't rooms available on or off campus this far into the semester."

"I called my mom and she suggested I call my dad, so I did. His family apparently knows the owner of a building in town and they have an open place I can move into right way. It's a little out of my price range but dad said he's more than happy to cover the rent. And to top everything off I really need a cup of coffee, I haven't had one since this morning and I can't leave to get one."

"Well the brightside is that you will be living in a place of your own, without a Paris or a Doyle."

"I don't really need your optimism right now."

"You're mean when you don't have coffee."

"Only when it's coupled with crazy events. Although it probably is in everyone's best interest if my mother and I were caffeinated at all times."

"It's a good thing I thought ahead then." He walked back down the stairs a little and came back with two coffees and a doughnut. "I ate my doughnut in the car."

"But how did you know?"

"You wanting coffee is probably the safest bet in the whole world. And worst case scenario, I wasted five bucks." I can see that he really doesn't think it's a big deal, but it is to me. Not only did he drop whatever he was doing to come help me, but he also stopped to get coffee for us. Don't get me wrong, getting the editor job was fantastic, but I think this is my favorite thing that has happened all day. Not that knowing coffee runs in my blood is hard, but that he knew I would probably need it. Sure Logan sent me a coffee cart but that was because he wanted me to do something, to take him back. This was an act without any ulterior motive and I haven't experienced many of those lately. Whether it was Logan with his gifts or my dad jumping to pay for whatever I wanted/needed because of years of built up guilt. But this medium sized coffee had no strings, no back story, in fact I'm the one who asked Tristan to help me, I should be buying him coffee. All I can come up with to say is a very small sounding "Thanks."

"Don't mention it. Now, how do you propose we get your stuff to your new place? Divide it all between your car and mine? Or should I go and rent a truck?"

"I really hadn't thought that far ahead. Everything has just changed so fast."

"That's okay. I'm pretty sure that we can fit everything in our cars, and if not then we can do it in loads, with one of us staying behind with what's left to keep the doo-wop group away."

"Hold on, my phones ringing. 'Hello. Okay. You are? Okay come on up.' That was my mom, apparently her and Luke drove up as soon as I called them. Luke has a truck so getting everything in one trip shouldn't be a problem."

"If I told my parents my roommate through my stuff out, they would assume it was my fault and just hire someone to come help me. Is your Dad on his way too?"

"No, I'm sure he's not. The only time he dropped everything to come see me was when I had broken my arm in a car accident and that was years ago. But that's okay, Luke is here with mom and I'm pretty sure he would have come, with or without her." Tristan just nodded, I could tell he was recalling the night we had stayed up talking and how I spent a large period of time talking about Luke. I hadn't really had a chance to discuss him with anyone since the engagement. My mom was too emotionally involved, my grandparents didn't approve, I never get to talk with Lane anymore, and I hadn't really talked with Logan about anything serious in a long time. Suddenly we are interrupted by my moms voice.

"Wow. When did you get so much stuff? Didn't mommy teach you anything about less is more?"

"No, she taught me how to be a hoarder and I'm pretty sure I only own about a 4th of the amount of things you do."

"You both have to much damn stuff."

"Say Luke, what is the difference between stuff and damn stuff?" Mom really knows how to push his buttons but I could see the smile he was trying to hid under his annoyed expression.

"Thank you so much for coming Luke."

"It was really no trouble." He always makes his actions sound so minor when they never really are and I hope one day I get the chance to show him just how much his actions have meant to me all these years.

"Where's my thanks?"

"We both know that Luke is going to be the one helping Tristan and I while you just watch."

"Well somebody has to be in charge and oversee everything."

"Luke, Lorelai, it's good to see you again."

"Hello again bible boy."

"Why do you two call him that." This made the three of us start laughing, which made Luke even more confused.

All Tristan could mutter was, "It's a long story but I brought it upon myself."
