Chapter 10

July 8, 1981

Around six in the evening, Minerva looked up from the page of the book she had been reading. Gathering the parchment she had written the obituary on, she picked up her wand and tapping the page said, "chronikos enviamas" (pronounced crow-kneecos envy-ahmahs).

She then dragged the words that from the parchment through the air and to the mirror that sat upon her desk. Tapping the glass, the words began to flow into the mirror, going deeper into the mirror as the next word followed it.

Minerva closed her eyes and a single tear dripped down her face as the reflection in the mirror began to cloud over. Opening her eyes and recognizing her own object's alert she whispered "apertas chronikos."
