This chapter is split into two perspectives: Allen's and Lavi's, which I thought was a brilliant idea as I'm losing ideas for Allen's perspective. I found that I enjoy writing from Lavi's perspective.

Allen

After we went to our tent, we connected our sleeping bags together and cuddled together beneath the covers and promptly fell asleep.

When we had woken up, everyone had left already, not including Mr Tiedoll, who appeared to have waited for us to wake up. We crawled out of our sleeping bag and the tent and sat by the fire and yawned.

"Good morning you two. Care for some breakfast?" Mr Tiedoll offered a plate of pancakes, sausages and toast. My stomach growled loudly.

"Yes please, Lavi you go first." I told Lavi as I tried to flatten my wild white hair, which was sticking up at all angles from sleep. Lavi returned from grabbing his food and I took the plate from Mr Tiedoll. "You don't want any?" I asked.

"No, no. I already had mine with the rest of the class. If I were you, I'd take a towel and some cleaner clothes. There's a river nearby that is covered well enough for using it as a bathing spot." Mr Tiedoll said and gestured towards the direction that we had come from yesterday. But I had no worries about the spot that we had found yesterday, as it was not connected to a river except for the waterfall.

"Okay." Lavi replied and watched as Mr Tiedoll walked away with his usual sketchbook and charcoal sticks with him.

"So, feel like heading down to the same place as yesterday and using the waterfall as a shower?" I asked Lavi, who nodded and stabbed a piece of sausage with his fork and fed me.

"I say that's a brilliant idea and hurry up and finish your food. I want to take a shower with you~" Lavi sang as he put his empty plate with all of the others by the fire.

"Lavi, grab me a towel and my clothes would you?" I asked as I started forking my food into my mouth.

"Sure thing." Lavi called back as I placed my empty plate on top of Lavi's and stood by the fire, warming my cold butt up. I could feel the sun glaring on the back of my neck, making it hot. Lavi returned with our sketchbooks, pencils, towels and clean clothes, passing me my stuff and taking my hand and leading me to where we were yesterday.

"And the rest of our time pretty much was the same. Rikei told us scary stories every night, but some were a little too scary for me, so Lavi and I left just before Rikei started them." I finished.

"So did that girl and Rikei end up dating?" Alisa asked.

"Yeah, I rang Lavi and he told me that they are dating now. I hope all goes well for them." I took the last slice of cake on the table and finished it in three bites.

"Looks like all the food's gone…" I said and patted my stomach, which was bulging from its fullness.

"I'll take these plates and things back down into the kitchens," Alisa stood up and stacked the plates, bowls and cutlery onto the trolley that was left from when she first entered. "I quite enjoyed talking to you, Allen. How long are you staying for?"

"Until the football rage is over."

"That's gonna be about a week or so," Alisa replied. "If they won a package deal, then it'd be about another week. They usually stay for another week 'cause this city has heaps to explore and they'll probably have a bit of money to spend." Alisa commented. I groaned.

"That's it. I'm calling Lavi to pick me up early tomorrow morning or to at least grab himself a room in this hotel and I'll move off to his room or something like that." I replied and helped Alisa stack the dishes onto the trolley.

"Thank you for helping me Allen, and I'll maybe see you tomorrow?" Alisa asked uncertainly as she walked out the door.

"Maybe," I replied and waved as she walked off. I shut the door and walked to my bed, flopping onto it stomach first and buried my head into my pillow.

Two weeks I was going to be stuck here without Lavi, freedom and peace. Sure, I had certain things to do, but they weren't as entertaining without someone to do them with. Maybe I really should call Lavi to come and pick me up, take me back home and hide out until my birthday.

I pondered over this decision for hours and my train of thought, which was just turning down the 'call Lavi to come and stay in this hotel for two weeks' tracks, was broken when Uncle Neah came by and slammed the door shut. I jumped a little and turned to face Uncle Neah's furious face.

"Uncle Neah?" I asked tentatively.

"Hm?" he hummed as he began to take off the football clothes that he was wearing.

"Is everything alright? You seem kind of angry. Did they lose?"

"No, Allen, nothing is alright. And no, they didn't lose. It's actually your father's behaviour that's pissed me off."

"What did he say? Or, well, do?"

"Well, he kept going on and on and on about your relationship with Lavi to Mr Bookman and how 'disgusting and unholy' it is. I'm seriously pissed off at their comments," Uncle Neah looked out the window to find that it was about three in the afternoon. "Allen, grab your phone, wallet and your bag. I'm taking you out for a while; spending Mana's winnings that he oh-so-gratefully gave me." Uncle Neah grinned.

"Is this your way of getting back at Father?" Mana nodded. "I'm in. Let me change first, though." I said and pulled out a few clothing articles and quickly changed into them, running a comb through my hair to manage it a little. Once I finished, I quickly splashed cold water onto my face and slung my bag over my shoulder.

"Ready." I said and followed Uncle Neah out the door. He knocked on another door and chatted to the person for a minute until I realised that Uncle Neah was talking to Father. Another minute later, he's swinging keys around his index finger and whistling.

"I had to get the keys off of him, I am not walking to the other side of the city."

"What's on the other side of the city?" I asked.

"Only the best shopping district. It's full of all these awesome clothing stores, art stores, music stores, food places and a whole lot of other things! I can guarantee that you'll love it!" Uncle Neah chatted enthusiastically the whole way to the shopping district.

Lavi

After Allen passed out, I began to place his things into his schoolbag, ready for him to go when his father came up to get him. I went straight back to Allen after I finished packing his things, pulling his head into my lap and running my hand through his snow-white hair. I hated the fact that we forgot to lock our front door, I hate the fact that Allen isn't eighteen yet and I hate the fact that we have to hide this from our fathers.

I don't know how long Bak and our fathers were arguing downstairs for, but as soon as Bak knocked on our door, I could tell that the argument had not gone in his favour. Bak told me that they wanted Allen downstairs and safely in the car with his belongings. I sighed and lifted Allen into my arms, his schoolbag slung over my shoulder and followed Bak downstairs, into the lobby and then following my father and Mana into the underground carpark.

I placed Allen into one of the seats, clicking his seatbelt in and placing his bag by his feet. I kissed his forehead, nose, cheek and mouth softly, not caring that they were watching. I stared into Allen's peaceful, tear-stained face for a while until my father pulled me out of the way and got into the car. I watched as the car reversed and went up the driveway and out of sight. I walked out of the underground carpark and back into the lobby, where Bak was waiting for me.

"Do you want to come over for dessert? Fou and I have already eaten dinner, and I remember that you just came back from an anniversary dinner." Bak asked.

"Sure, I'd like to get some of my feelings out through eating all of your ice-cream and crying over the death of Mufasa." I replied and followed Bak to his apartment. It was cleaner and tidier than the last time I was here, when we were looking into renting the condo on the top floor, but ended discussing the options we had so that we could buy it.

"Ah, Lavi! It's good to see you again." Fou said as I walked inside and placed my suit jacket onto the hooks by the door. I didn't get a chance to change out of my suit before we were caught by Mana and my father.

"You too Fou."

"Where's Allen?" she asked. I turned away for a second, wondering whether I should tell her or lie.

"Fou, dear, Allen's been… how should I put it…" Bak began, taking off his usual hat and placing it on a hook.

"He was forcefully taken away by his father because he caught me and Allen getting hot and heavy in the doorway." I finished and took off my shoes.

"So I invited him over for dessert. Says he's gonna eat all of our ice-cream and cry over The Lion King."

"So manly," Fou chuckled and walked into the kitchen, grabbing out three spoons and a large tub of ice-cream. "Bak, go put on The Lion King for our heartbroken rabbit." Fou said and pushed me into the living room and sat me on their couch, right in the middle with the ice-cream. They sat on either side of me.

"Let's get this movie started." Bak said and hit 'play'.

Half a tub of ice-cream and the Lion King later, I'm back in my room with my phone next to my head, hoping that Allen would call soon or I would. I eventually fell asleep on the couch in my clothes and in my shoes. It wasn't very comfortable, but I fell asleep anyway.

At about eight in the morning, I was woken by my phone's ringtone of 'Barbie Girl' by Aqua. Lenalee thought that it'd be funny to change it to that, and I don't know how to change it back.

"Allen! Are you okay, are you safe, are you—"

"Lavi! I'm fine, I'm sad and I miss you." Allen cut me off with his reply. I sighed in relief. I've been worried about how he's doing, considering he fell asleep in frustratingly sad tears.

"That's good… in a way. I miss you heaps, Bak's worried about you and so is Fou. I haven't told Lena-lady yet, but only if you want me to." Truth be told, I was going to tell her anyway. I heard Allen sigh and sheets being ruffled.

"I don't mind, but if you do, try to calm her down. I was just remembering when we went to the art camp a few weeks back…" Allen trailed off, changing the subject.

"Yeah, that art camp was fun, except for that scary story that Rikei told," I shuddered and remembered something. "Hey, did you know that that girl and Rikei actually got together?" I asked, giddy about this. The girl that had a crush on Rikei was a good friend of Lenalee's, so I knew her a little.

"What! No way. They're good together. She loves horror and Rikei is good at stuff like that too, isn't he?"

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure he is," I quickly left the phone conversation and scrolled through Facebook to find Rikei's status about he and that girl being 'in a relationship'. "Aha! They did. It's posted on his Facebook page. 'In a relationship' it says. I'm happy for them." I replied and I was truly happy for the new couple. They needed love in their lives.

"Aw, well, at least their relationship is going better than ours as the moment. Being separated and all." Allen mumbled sadly. I wanted to hold that boy and comfort him, but alas, he's stuck in a hotel about twelve hours away. I stood up and took my shoes and jacket off.

"Yeah," I sighed and fell back onto the bed. "I miss you. I know I've said it already, but I do. A lot." I whispered affectionately.

"I know, and I do too. It's hard not being able to feel your hugs or your kisses… It's going to get worse over the next few weeks… I'm pretty sure I'm going to be put on house arrest and being forced to go to church…" I want to fucking hug and kiss this boy senseless right now.

"You probably are. I know my father might force me to go, but he can't control me anymore." I replied.

"At least you're free. I have to wait another month." Allen groaned and I heard something grumble.

"Are you feeling okay? You sound sick." Concern was evident in my voice. What if he caught something?

"I'm fine. Just really hungry; I threw up on the way here." He replied. That's it, I'm going to go get him, whether he fucking tells me or not.

"Oh dear, I hope you don't have a stomach bug. When you get food, try not to over eat anything and be sick again. Call me if you are sick again, and I'll come and rescue you." Too late for that, I'm gonna leave ASAP.

"You're making me sound like a captive princess, in which the first half of that is true and the other is not, as I'm not a princess. And I'll make sure to call you, so you can rescue your captive prince."

"To me, you'll always be my prince. Before I decided to ask you out, I deemed myself unworthy of your attention. But…" a muffled knocking sound stopped me mid-sentence.

"-om –vice!" the muffled sound said.

"Sorry Lavi, I have to go. I'll call you later." Allen said.

"A-alright," I gulped. "I love you." I quickly said and hit the red phone button on the screen. I dropped the phone onto the bed and curled into a ball. I can't believe I said it! I rolled around on the bed until someone was knocking on my door.

"Coming!" I yelled and jumped up off of the bed and ran to the door, yanking it open to find Lenalee there.

"Hey Lenalee!"

"Lavi, hello. May I come in?" she asked and I nodded, stepping out of the way and letting her inside. She took off her black boots, placed them next to the door and hung her jacket on the hooks by the door. She then walked into the living room and sat on a couch.

"Do you want anything to drink?" I asked.

"Sure, tea would be nice." She replied and I made us both tea and myself some toast with Nutella on them. I gave Lenalee her tea and sat down across from her.

"What brings you to my humble abode so early this morning?" I asked as I took a bite from my toast.

"Well, I was wondering if you could take me into the city today? I was going to ask Kanda, but he was busy with his sword tournament today." Lenalee asked.

"Sure, I was going to head there today anyway. Do you want to go by plane or car? It's a twelve hour drive or a four hour plane trip." I asked.

"Let's go by plane, even though it's pretty short notice, I'm sure that they'll find us a spot." Lenalee replied and drank some of her tea. I nodded and grabbed my laptop from the coffee table and flipped it open, going to a website and purchasing our tickets and printing off the e-mail that was sent ten minutes later that had our tickets, departing time and our seats. I handed Lenalee hers and quickly ran upstairs and got changed, packing a quick bag of clothes, my phone and its charger.

"Oh, if you're going to ask me if I'm staying there a couple days, then yes. I've planned to stay with my brother for a while, so I'll call the airport and get them to change my departure date." Lenalee said as I ran down the stairs and finished my toast.

"Well, let's go then." I said and walked out the door.
