Disclaimer: I don't own St Trinians, surprise twist there am I right?!

One never truly appreciates how large St Trinians is until they are looking for something small and hard to find in the building full of young delinquents. Annabelle huffed in annoyance when she looked through yet another classroom door to be met with the empty space, no sign of her hoodie anywhere in sight. It was Friday around lunch time; she had been heading to the dining hall when she received a chill from the traditional British weather. So with a sigh she had gone up to the dorm rooms to retrieve her hoodie, only to find she had misplaced it.

Annabelle did vaguely remember wearing it in one of the empty classrooms when talking to Kelly a few days ago, the thought brought a smile to her face. Ever since she had told Kelly about her past, things had been getting better. She hadn't felt the urge to cut as much, although it was still there and she had a breakdown once that week, but when Kelly found out she didn't judge her, she comforted her. Kelly made her feel special, feel cared for.

Their closeness hadn't gone unnoticed by the students also, they had already heard many rumours about them dating or something secretive, she remembered when they walked into a the Head Girl's room and Kelly's eyes had snapped to the corner, she strutted over and pulled a hidden camera out of a plant pot. She retrieved eight more from that room with an unimpressed eyebrow raise whilst Annabelle chuckled by the door. That didn't seem to help the rumours however as now it seemed like they were trying to hide something.

We can never win with these girls… she thought to herself. Annabelle was forced out of her mind bubble when she heard a loud crash from one of the classrooms, she ran lightly over the floor, her black high tops being almost silent on the ground. She stood outside the door and reached for the handle, but the conversation inside the room stopped her in her tracks.

"I don't ge why you is bein' so difficult abou' this!"

"You don't understand, I can't let my Tribe found out about us! They will kick me out, despite being the chief. And then I'll be left defenceless."

"I'd protect you."

"Sorry hun, but what makes you think your Tribe won't kick you out."

"'Cuz I'm the leader innit? They can't kick me out cause I'm the best out of all of 'em, and they damn well know it!"

"You just… you don't understand…"

"The' tell me so I can!"

The shout was left with no response, and Annabelle felt that now would be the best time to interrupt. She knocked gently on the door, she heard cursing and stepped back enough so it didn't look too obvious she was listening in. It opened roughly and she kept her face blank and expressionless when Taylor glared at her.

"Wot you want Fritton?"

"I was looking for Andrea, have you seen her anywhere?"

Andrea stepped into view, and Annabelle noticed how her normal emotionless face had a shadow of sadness over it, she felt concern for her friend but hid it well behind her own blank mask, one which she had perfected over the years.

"I'm here." Andrea spoke.

"Can I talk to you?" Annabelle asked, this time Taylor beat Andrea to it.

"You best come in then, 'cuz there's no way she's coming out." The double meaning was not lost on Annabelle, and she was able to move out of the way just in time for Taylor to barge past her, storming down the hall.

She looked into the room and saw that Andrea was now by the window, looking out of it vacantly.

"What do you want Belle?" she asked quietly, the sadness was obvious but Annabelle knew when a person wanted to be left alone, so tried to make herself scarce as quickly as possible.

"I was wondering if you've seen my hoodie?"

"What does it look like?" Andrea asked, her voice yet again quiet and small.

"Its got the Batman logo on the front, but the yellow is white and it looks like its sort of dripping down the shirt? And the rest is black by the way."

"Nerd…" she heard Andrea scoff. She shrugged her shoulders and shook her head, "Sorry, haven't really seen it."

Annabelle sighed and rubbed the back of her neck.

"That sucks, it was my favourite as well…" she spoke more to herself than the other girl, but Andrea still heard her.

"Your favourite you say?" she asked, Annabelle nodded with some mild confusion, "Try Kelly's room."

Annabelle nodded with even more confusion and left the room, saying thanks to the Head Emo over her shoulder, and moving up to Kelly's room.

Black was the main part of her clothing that day. Black Batman hoodie (seriously, he's just so awesome), black jeans with the St Trinians logo custom stitched down the right trouser leg in white, a silver wallet chain hanging out of her front pocket and connecting to her back pocket, two studded belts overlapping each other around her waist, her trusty black converse all starts, with a leather bracelet made for her by Celia just being seen poking out of her sleeve, the St Trinians logo also sewn onto it.

Miss Fritton had said that they needed to wear the school logo but she didn't say it had to be on the uniform, a loop hole Annabelle felt she left for just the reason for the girl's to 'express themselves creatively'.

Kelly wore her usual uniform, dark blue, almost black pencil skirt with the white blouse tucked in neatly, black bands around her wrists, blue striped tie hanging from her shoulders with her barbed wire necklace around her neck. The weather was surprisingly nice for once, and Annabelle hated to admit that the sun was actually hurting her eyes with the brightness.

"What's wrong?" Kelly asked from besides her, they were on coaches on the trip to the small town, that seemed to fear the St Trinians students greatly, Annabelle found out, and was secretly looking forwards to seeing.

"It's weird isn't it?" Annabelle said, looking away from the window and leaning towards Kelly, "We moan whenever the sun is away, saying it never comes out. And then when it does we complain it's too hot or it hurts our eyes."

Kelly raised her eyebrow, bemused, and nodded slowly.

"Yeah, because that's why Britain is so amazing."

"And indecisive." Annabelle smirked; Kelly returned it and moved her own eyes out to the window, taking in the rare sight of a sunny day in England.

The town was quite a nice looking place, small white picket fences around the well kept gardens of either two or three story houses. The grass was a lush green with several pieced of garden furniture in front of the houses. Children and teenagers from the local town school were around and about the streets, laughing and messing around with their friends, there was a river running through the town which had a bridge going over it with ducks quaking happily underneath it, and elderly couple sat together on a bench with bread to feed them contently. In the very centre of the town was a statue of the town's founder, a rather plump man in a tight suit and a positively amazing moustache that seemed to defy gravity. He had a top hat and an eye glass to finish, his entire body a bronze colour.

This was a proud town, filled with calm and relaxation for all who lived there, that is when they forgot the building up the hill from their homes, and the students who lived there.

But it seemed they would not be able to forget about them this day however.

The children in the street froze when the school busses drove down the street; the teenagers tensed and gravitated towards the centre of the town by the statue, for safety in numbers. The elderly couple ditched the bread and ducks, standing and making their way back to their house as quickly as possible, a man stood outside of an ice cream shop with his child by his side, the boy asked why he was so afraid, to which the man squealed, picked up his son and ran home, his ice cream crushed on the ground.

"Wow. They really don't like you girls huh?" Annabelle stated, Kelly smirked and nodded over to the statue.

"You see that?" Annabelle nodded, "They have had to replace it fifteen times in three years because of us. Its accidents of course, but they still don't exactly like us."

"Yeah, accidents, I so don't believe that."

"Yeah well, probably best you don't actually." Kelly winked at Annabelle who grinned and shook her head, watching in amusement as another man tripped over his own feet whilst trying to make distance between himself and the busses.

"This is gonna be fun."

The busses all pulled up in rows, taking up an entire street. The towns' people watched with barely contained horror as the doors opened in the middle bus and out of it stepped the older girls, Taylor, followed by Andrea who was followed by Chelsea with Celia right behind her. After them some members of their tribe trailed after them, Annabelle stepping out after them. Kelly was the last to step off of the bus, stepping next to Annabelle in the row of the older St Trinians teenagers. She surveyed the people for a second then brought her hands together in a single, loud, gun shot like, echoing clap.

Like it was choreographed perfectly the doors to the busses opened and the students of St Trinians piled out of the busses, yelling and screaming in excitement as they flooded into the streets running to shops and down the streets in their usual manic way.

Annabelle was watching with a light grin when she felt a hand brush against her elbow gently.

"Coming?"

She nodded and followed after the taller girl, their hands barely brushing against each other as they walked causing shocks to travel through her body.

"So what would you like to do?" Kelly asked after they had been strolling down the street casually, ignoring the gawking people as they saw the infamous Head Girl and the frightening person walking next to her. Annabelle shrugged and rubbed the back of her head, when an idea struck her. She saw the sign for the shop not that far ahead, and smiled.

"I have and idea." She said, she took Kelly's hand, once again ignoring the shocked expressions from the towns' people, and led her to the tattoo shop.

"You want a tattoo?" Kelly asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Well I've wanted one for ages honestly, even when I was at Cheltenham. I just held back until I felt like I was ready for it..."

She trailed off and walked into the shop. There were two workers in there flirting over the counter, the woman had her hair shaved off on one side of her head and covered was in tattoos, the man was balding but still had a charm about him despite the rather threatening tattoos on his neck and arms. They both looked up and smiled at the two girls, the man straightening up to his impressively tall height.

"Hello Kelly, here for another one?" he asked amusedly, Kelly shook her head and nodded to Annabelle.

"She's the one who's interested."

The man nodded and introduced himself as Shane, he asked if she knew what she wanted and Annabelle nodded in response.

"Do you do semicolons?"

Kelly noticed that Shane's eyes seemed to soften for a second before becoming blocked off again, she guessed he knew what it meant.

"Sure, go take a seat over there 'kay? Jess will sort ya out."

After spending an hour in the tattoo shop, staying afterwards to chat with Shane and Jess for a little while, the two girls left, Annabelle with a piece of white paper over her wrist to cover it whilst it settled.

"So what does the semicolon mean?" Kelly asked when they left, Annabelle looked to her covered wrist and smiled.

"I am the author of my own story, and a semicolon is used when an author could have finished the story, but didn't. It symbolises my control I have over my own life, and how I can't end my story, not when it could have so many happy endings."

She reached out and took Kelly's hand in her own, squeezing it lightly.

"I don't plan on ending my story anytime soon, if I can help it anyways."

Kelly smiled back down at her.

The Twins were hyped up on sugar. Their pupils were wide and their heads were spinning. They ran out of the novelty shop, Tara had a packet of large helium balloons with strings attached in her arms while Tania had a helium canister in her own arms.

They ran down the street to a bench by the river where the elderly couple had been sitting. Tania pushed the lever and inhaled some of the helium, swallowing it and turning to give Tara a serious look.

"Luke. I am your father."

They broke out into loud rambunctious laughter when her voice came out several octaves higher than normal, Tara snatched the balloon away and inhaled some herself.

"You're only supposed to blow tha' bloody doors of!"

Their sides were aching with laughter as they repeated the same thing over and over, only stopping when Tania noticed an adorable Yorkie dog approaching them.

"Hey look T!"

"Tania don't touch it."

"I'll touch it if I want!"

"Tania…"

"Ouch! It bit me!" Tania recoiled and held her hand away from the growling dog.

"Oh doggie… do you realise what you've done?"

The dog stopped growling and whimpered a tiny bit when the two girls grabbed onto it, sharing evil smirks.

"Hey Kell, Belle! What up?!"

"Hey Taylor." Annabelle greeted, crossing her arms to hide any chance of Taylor seeing the white paper on her wrist, wanting to keep it a secret a little while longer.

"Where's Andrea?" Kelly asked, Taylor huffed and crossed her own arms also.

"Why does every one keep askin' where the coffin shagga is? Why shoul' I know?"

"Maybe because you've been attached to the hip since the pair of you returned from summer break, despite your obvious attempts to hide it from other students."

"Whaevs Kell, I was just commin' over 'ere to see if yous wanted to come to the cinema with us lot? Bunch of us is meetin' there in ten."

Kelly looked to Annabelle who tilted her head in an adorable fashion.

"To see what?" Taylor scoffed and Kelly kept her expression as blank as she could, "What? Did I do something?"

"Does it matter what's on Belle? 'Member you're a St Trinian naw, and do you fink we go by the rules?"

Belle shook her head and decided not to ask.

"Sure, whatever, I don't mind."

"Sweetness, see you two latars!" Taylor then waltzed away; the two waited a second before Annabelle spoke.

"Okay, there is defiantly something more than friendship between her and Andrea."

"She has eyes ladies and gentlemen."

"Shut up." Annabelle scolded, despite there being a humorous grin on her lips, she swatted Kelly and the two of them made their way to where the cinema was, not even realising that they were holding hands as they walked up the hill.
