Honorable mention and shout out to the writer Manna who left her short story in the review page. Now to clear things up she earned brownie points meaning that I will update but I will still do it slowly until someone either writes a story the fits what I challenged or points me to someone who already did.

Chapter 9: Diagnose

"We have a new symptom." House noted as he wrote on the whiteboard. Turning to face his team he asked. "Do we have anything new to offer?"

"CT scan was clean," Cameron replied first. "We were able to finish it before he began throwing up."

"Finished testing the hair." Chase spoke up from his chair by the door. "There's nothing in the hair. No dye or toxins."

"White hair naturally?" Foremen asked. "Albino?"

"Likely, pale blues eyes and very pale. He most likely is." Chase answered.

"Do we have anything relevant to the case?" House asked.

"We could ask the dad." Cameron offered.

"The dad?" House asked. "Thought the kid was brought in alone."

"The big Russian guy who caught him in the lobby is the boy's parent." Foremen told House. "And Mr. North is trying to take Jack, our patient, out of here."

"Did anyone tell him his son is, oh, I don't know, sick?!" House asked in a condescending tone.
"We tried to, but he won't listen." Chase informed House.

"I checked his temp when he got out of the CT scan." Cameron spoke bringing the conversation back to their patient. "It was just a little below normal but he said he felt hot and dizzy."

"Hot and dizzy?" House asked.

"Yeah, that was just before he freaked out and ran." Foremen added. As House added "Hot, "Dizzy" and "panic attack" to the list of symptoms. Leaning back House took a second to take a good look at the list.

"I want you guys to check the kid's organs." House ordered.

"Why?" Cameron asked. Chase and Foremen waited for whatever crazy diagnose their boss had.

"Because I think he's having a heat stroke."
