Getting disguises from the facility was the easy part. Blending in? Whole 'nother problem.

As we walked among the goons, we were discussing what to do. As we talked, I ran into a guy. Not a goon, just a guy who lived in the city. As he recovered, he saw the uniforms and began to panic.

An idea came into my head. I took the guy aside, saying, "Stay calm. I have to talk to you."

We took him over to an alley and let him go. He fell forward and looked at us, fearing the worst.

He stayed on the ground, so I knelt in front of him. "Scared?"

He nodded. "You're taking over the city. Of course I'm scared!"

I looked at my group, then back at him. "We're not. We're trying to stop them. Call us…" I tried to think of a good group name. Then it hit me. "…the Revivers."

He looked as us a little oddly. "The Revivers? Never heard of you."

I shrugged. "Figured. We're new. But back to business. Their boss is in the Radio Tower. We take him, they leave. You know how to get in without getting seen?"

He thought a minute, then shook his head. "No. All the streets are uncovered all the way to the tower. Although…"

"What?"

He gave me a smile. "Everyone here hates these guys. Suppose…I fought you?"

I was curious. I told him so, and he told us his plan.

A few minutes later, some Nevermore guards overheard the following:

"Get away from me! None of you can stop me!"

A man darted out of an alley, followed by four Nevermore goons.

Their leader stepped forward and said, "Yeah, we can stop you and your whole rebellion!"

The guards overhearing were interested. They got a little closer, about three of them.

The man looked shocked. "How did you find out about that?! That was a secret!"

The leader laughed. "We have many ears. You shouldn't be surprised."

The man regained his determined look. "As long as I'm alive, it'll never die!" With that, he ran, followed by every Nevermore goon around.

Well, except us. I turned to the others and said, "Man, he's a good actor. Let's go!"

We started running towards the Radio Tower. At the door, though, we were stopped by some guards.

Before they could ask, Eoniai said, "Let us through! We have news for Lord Allan about a revolt!"

The guards looked at each other, then opened the doors and gestured towards the elevator.

"Thanks," Eoniai said. We entered the elevator and started going up. About halfway there, I transformed so I was ready for Allan.

The doors dinged. They opened, revealing Allan standing in front of a wall to wall window overlooking the city.

He continued gazing and said, "What is it?"

All of a sudden, Tardon said, "Roll with it," forced my arms behind my back, and walked in, saying, "Lord Allan! We have captured White Fury!"

He whirled around. "What?! Let me see!" He walked over to us quickly and examined me in detail. He stepped back, surprised. "This is truly him. Well done, well done indeed!"

Tardon nodded his head. "Thank you, milord. What shall we do now?"

Allan gave a wicked smile, pulled out his pistol, and pointed it at my head. "Watch as I exterminate the single greatest threat to the plan!"

"Yeah, good luck with that," I said, then rushed towards him.

"What?! What is this?!" He started shooting, but thanks to ExtremeSpeed, no hits. I got close to him and said, "Well, bummer for you."

He scowled, saying, "You sure?" He whipped his wings towards me. I ducked, but the feathers grazed my arm, surprising me by drawing blood.

I stepped back, wondering how this had happened. Then I looked closer at his feathers and saw the gleam of sharpness.

He gave an evil smile. "Gotcha. Also…" He swung his arm, and some of the feathers flew towards me. I jumped out of the way as they hit the window, shattering the window where it hit.

I looked back at him, my mind going a mile a minute. How to beat this guy?

Looking back on it, I should've seen it coming. The others went up behind him slowly, and Eoniai hit him over the head with a pipe he had found. Allan collapsed, groaning.

I looked at him. "I had it covered."

Eoniai shrugged. "Yeah. Sure."

As we were about to take Allan, he slowly got up, looking at all of us in turn.

"Nothing that weak can knock me out." He gave me a death glare. "Next time, White Fury."

He ran towards the window and jumped through the already-weakened panes. We ran over to the window and saw him flying over the city.

Tardon looked upon this and muttered, "Wings actually work…damn."

I swore. So close! Next time, Allan…next time…
