So sorry that I didn´t update in such a long time but my life was rather busy. I had problems in school and a lot of health issues. So again sorry and I´ll update more than one chapter today. This chapter is a little time jump to Regina´s birthday on February 1st. Hope you all enjoy it and please review.

A few days after the incident with Cora the tension slowly began to fade. Regina was calmer and slowly gained her memories of Granny as her nursemaid back. Henry was still shaken though. The young boy never knew about the horrible things that happened to his Mom and now he met Cora.

This weekend was going to be a weekend of celebration. It was Regina´s birthday but no one seemed to know except Henry. This gave him an idea. He would throw her a surprise party at Granny´s. So now he found himself in front of Johanna´s house and slowly knocked on the wooden door. A few minutes later the ginger haired woman opened the door and greeted him with a tight embrace.

"Hello, dear. To what do I owe this pleasure?" she asked as she led him into her small home. Regina had moved in with Archie for the time being since Cora still occupied the mansion. Johanna had been a little upset because she really wanted to be close to her daughter, but she understood that Regina rather wanted to stay with her boyfriend and not her old mother.

"Well, it´s Mom´s birthday this weekend and everyone seems to have forgotten about it so I wanted to throw a surprise party at Granny´s for and Ruby are on bord with it and my family and Archie as well. So I wanted to invite you. It will be on Saturday at 5 pm. Everyone brings something to eat and I already have present." he explained with a content smile and Johanna nodded. Of course she would never forget that day. The day she held her little girl for the first and last time ever. It was such a joy but on the other hand it was the worst day of her life. She would never forget the hurt she felt and Cora ripped her little Rapunzel from her arms. She was happy that Henry was so caring and kind. Regina really raised him well even with Cora as a mother figure,

"Yeah, sounds good to me. I think I already have a present as well."she answered and left the room for a moment. When she returned she had a box in her hands and gave it to the boy. Henry was a little unsure but opened it carefully to reveal a little purple cotton blanket with the name Rapunzel stiched into it. He was a little confused but then saw his grandmother shed a few tears and then remembered that his mother was originally named Rapunzel but Cora changed the name because it wasn´t fit for a princess.

"It´s cute. I´m sure Mom will love it." the eleven year old smiled warmly at the ginger and hugged her. Johanna gladly returned the hug and took in the sweet scent of his dark hair. Although he wasn´t biologically her grandson he still looked a lot more like Regina than he looked like Emma.

"I hope so. What are you going to give her?" she asked and he laughed and whispered something into her ear. "Oh that sounds lovely. I´m sure she´ll be very happy."

At the day of the party Archie took his girlfriend for a hike in the woods so the other´s could prepare everything for the party. It was rather cold so the brunette wasn´t really amused to go into the woods. It was snowing and cold and she was not dressed for a hike.

"You do know what today is, dear?"she asked as they got out of the car and stepped into the giant forest. She would prefer riding over hiking but she knew Archie was afraid of horses. She loved being alone with him though. Holding hands and cuddling into his side because she was cold was the best of it all. Their relationship had developed greatly over the past few weeks and they got closer every day. They still hadn´t had sex yet but Regina was grateful that he wasn´t pushing things like Leopold had done. He was waiting patiently for her to say when she was ready.

"Of course I know. It´s your birthday and so I wanted to have some quality time with my stunning girlfriend." he laughed and pecked her full red lips softly. They took hold of each other´s hands and walked a small distance before something caught the brunette´s attention. Right there in the middle of nowhere was picknick basket with a few fussy blankets around. She was rather confused and turned around to see her boyfriend smiling at her like an idiot.

"So the hike was a truce to get me into the woods for a picknick?" she giggled and grabbed him by his collar before she kissed him hard.

"Happy Birthday." he whispered seductively into her ear and kissed her neck up and down. When they pulled apart he kneeled down and started to pull out all the food of the basket. He even had a bottle of some expensive champaign prepared for her. Regina couldn´t be more content in that very moment. She knew the town probably had forgotten about her birthday anyway, they still hated her and she really didn´t blame them. Since Cora came back she had returned to her old ways and really wasn´t proud of it but now she had Archie.

"A very happy birthday indeed."she smiled and sipped on her glass of champaign. Archie took her hand and kissed it lovingly.

"I love you."
