"So Gray do you think there's a chance we can get to Natsu if we have this scarf" Erza asked
"Maybe, that's the only thing that we have from him. If what you saw was Natsu, then this is the proof that Natsu is indeed alive and if he left this on purpose… well I think he left it for something" Gray responded
"Should we tell the others about this?" Erza asked
"Why shouldn't we? They are all equally concerned." Gray responded
"Well what if he just wants to see me? He doesn't wants to see anyone else… well he left this so I could find it, because of what he probably saw. I don't know, but I feel like if we say this to everyone we will not see him." Erza said
"Mmmm… maybe you are overthinking it, but maybe you're right, we don't know if he wants to see only one person. You said you saw those 3 figures, maybe he was watching you and he wants to tell you something. I think you should try to contact him, but we might need to tell this to another person, or at least the ones that are in the hut. Ultear knows more about Zeref and Wendy is a Dragon Slayer, her nose must be the same as Natsu's, and she might give us a lead on him." Gray said.
"That's true, but I don't know maybe we shouldn't, what if he's around here…waiting for me to go." Erza said.
"I doubt it, it has been some time since that, we don't lose anything by telling them, and what if Natsu wasn't the one who left the scarf?" Gray asked.
"That's a possibility too, but I don't know…Let's search a little bit more then we'll go to the hut, but let's make this private, only Wendy and Ultear." Erza said in a serious tone.
"Mmmm…Wendy won't be that much of a problem, but Ultear might tell her comrades." Gray said.
"See…but if we are telling Ultear you need to convince her not to mention this to anyone….ok?" Erza said in a dark voice. "Otherwise you'll-"
"Ok, ok…I understand Erza" Gray said and then he sighed.
"I'm counting on you gray" Erza said.

"Hey Vexius where's Natsu?" Nezma asked
"I don't know. How did it went?" Vexius asked raising an eye.
"No problem on my side, what about yours?" Nezma asked
"No problem as always" Vexius said in a prideful way.
"Hey, I noticed something strange with the girl I fought" Nezma said.
"What?" Vexius asked
"Remember when we were in the cell with Natsu?" Nezma asked
"Yes…what about it?" Vexius responded
"Remember a girl who visited Natsu before we escaped? A Silver-white haired girl?" Nezma asked
"Oh…yes I do remember the only pretty chick that visited him, hahaha" Vexius said.
"Yes that one, the red-haired was hot as well. My point is, the girl I fought earlier resembled her… she had the same hair color. I asked if she was the one that visited but I was mistaken." Nezma said.
"Ohh… you are implying that there's a connection between them. Now that you said that… if I remember correctly the guy I fought had white-silver hair as well. Too hard to be a coincidence don't you think?" Vexius asked.
"Well… we don't know, but implying that they are connected in some way, maybe cousins or brothers then we might now know why Natsu is late." Nezma said.
"So you are saying the girl that visited Natsu is stronger than the ones we fought?" Vexius asked
"Well she had a stronger magical pressure" Nezma said.
"Couldn't care less" Vexius said as he then sighed.
"But wait…if they are related…then maybe Natsu is going to get angry" Nezma said
"Mmm… That may be true, but why will he get angry?" Vexius asked, then a flashback crossed his mind and he remembered the condition of his opponent.
The same happened with Nezma.
"Well… he said we could do whatever we wanted to. If they are his friends then he should've know. My opponent is still alive, but he won't last too much." Vexius said in a carefree manner.
"You used that?" Nezma asked.
"Uhmm…my pendant? Na why should I?" Vexius responded.
"Not your pendant, but that technique. Remember Zeref prohibited using our restrainers. Unless we are talking with him or training." Nezma said.
"Yea I know… Yes I used the technique… I was getting bored, it was the weakest version of the technique, never thought he was that weak hahaha. And what about you? You used your ring? Or did you used your tedious technique?" Vexius asked
"The same as you. Wait we could've sensed if we used our restrainers, sorry for asking was dumb of me. Yes I used my technique, the chick started flying you know… she was trying to escape." Nezma said
"AHHH, what a pain, common let's go." Vexius said as he then stood up.
"Where are we going?" Nezma asked dumbfounded
"To that girl, we need to wake her up. Remember they might be related to that girl, we don't want to infuriate Natsu." Vexius said.
"Oh, but why don't we let it just like that. What if Natsu gets angry…you scared?" Nezma asked in a teasing voice.
"Not in the mood for your jokes. We don't need to be angry or have any type of resentment, remember we are going to a mission tomorrow. As for your attack, you know only high-end mages can undo that magic, they need a very skilled healing-magician." Vexius said.
"Oh, you're right. The same goes for your technique." Nezma said as he then lead the way.

"They sure are taking their time." Makarov said.
"Were you very far from here?" Makarov asked Cana.
"No, we were on the outskirts of here. It's like 20 minutes on foot" Cana said as she was asking for another barrel.
"I think we should go and look for them" Laxus proposed.
The whole guild was in awe.
Murmuring could be heard around.
"Laxus is worried?" "That's rare" "Why is he worried?"
"Shut up!" Laxus yelled.
"Yes as Laxus said we should go and look for them." Makarov said.
"The three of us will go." Makarov said as he then dragged Cana with Laxus and him.

Mirajane and Natsu were almost on the floor trying to regain some air.
"Wow, you are a great kisser Natsu" Mirajane said.
"You as well, wonder if I'm your first." Natsu said.
"Of course you are. Don't be silly who else could've been?" Mirajane asked showing some hints of anger.
"Common Mira, don't get angry I was just teasing you" Natsu said as he then gave a reassuring smile to Mira.
"That hurt Natsu. Don't ever say that again. Hmph" Mira said and she made an angry face.
"Ok" Natsu said as he then scratched his head.
"What about you?" Mira asked raising an eye.
"What about what?" Natsu asked dumbfounded.
"Don't play dumb with me. I was your first too…right?" Mira asked showing some concern
"Of course you-" Natsu was saying as he then remembered his kiss with Erza
"Of…Co-our-see... you… w-ere Mira" Natsu said as he stuttered
"Oh…so I wasn't your first?" Mira asked disappointed.
"Don't be like that Mira, you know it doesn't matter if you weren't the first one…ahh" Natsu was trying to think of something.
"What is the thing that matters?" Mira said as she raised an eyebrow
"That… we are sharing a kiss right now, and that was a long time ago…seven years" Natsu said whispering the last part. His voice showed some sadness.
Mira saw through this and proceeded to hug Natsu.
"Seven years huh?" Mira said as she caressed Natsu's head.
"I'm glad I saw you, you don't know how worried I've been. I couldn't stand watching you in that cell. But nothing of that matters anymore Natsu" Mira said as she released herself from the hug and gave Natsu a peck.
"Why?" Natsu asked
"Because we are together again, and now we are more than friends. I'm so glad I ran unto you, Lisanna and Elfman should be on their way. We will clear all the misunderstandings and I will prepare another guild-mark for you. I think you should put one that matches mine." Mira said as she placed her head on Natsu's chest.
"I'm glad I ran unto you Mira-" Natsu said
Mira smiled and gave another peck to Natsu.
"But you know" Natsu said as he then pushed her back.
"I'm not going back with you guys." Natsu said with a serious face.
"What are you-?" Mira stuttered
"It's not a personal vendetta or something like that, well maybe a little bit, but I want to stick with this because I want to know something" Natsu said.
Silence reigned the place. Mira was still in shock, she was not even moving, but her grip was very strong and Natsu couldn't get away from her.
"Look Mira… I know this sounds-"
*Slap* was all that was heard as Natsu was interrupted by a slap on his face.
"What kind of joke is this Natsu?" Mira said with pleading eyes to Natsu. Tears were beginning to form in her eyes.
Natsu just grabbed his cheek and turned away.
Mira grabbed Natsu's head and forced him to look her at the eyes.
"Tell me that again" Mira said in a cracking voice.
"*Sigh* don't make this harder Mira, I said that I'm not going back" Natsu said in a cold tone.
"Y…oouuu… Natsu…w-hyy ar-r-e you…doing t-hiss?" Mira said between sobs.
She thought that with another slap she may wake Natsu from this. It was so confusing and she didn't wanted to hit him it pained her a lot, but she thought it was necessary.
As she readied her hand for a second slap, Natsu just closed his eyes.
*Slam* Mira's body landed on Natsu. Natsu grabbed her and he carried her to the nearest tree and laid her there.
"Let's get going" Vexius said.
"Didn't needed your help" Natsu replied
"Common, tomorrow it's a big day for us." Nezma said.
"You know it's not right to raise a hand on any of my friends." Natus said in an angry tone.
"Huh?" Vexius turned around
"Calm down…Calm down" Nezma stopped both.
"We need to get going, you were not doing anything Natsu… we are not here to play. It was the best decision, and someone is approaching we should be going." Nezma said and Natsu and Vexius just sighed and proceeded to walk.

"Nothing here Erza, he's nowhere around let's go back" Gray said.
"You are right Gray, but…where could he be?" Erza thought
"Erza!" Jellal shouted
This caught Erza's attention and she gave the scarf to Gray.
"I'll go with Jellal, look for Ultear and tell her." Erza said in a low voice to Gray.
"Ok" Gray responded.
"Ultear!" Gray shouted and he made a sign for Ultear to approach him.
"What is it Gray?" Ultear asked.
"Let's take a walk" Gray responded.
"Ohh…what do you want to talk about?" Ultear asked.
"Just come with me" Gray said as he then dragged Ultear with him.
"Helping Erza? Hahaha" Ultear asked and then she giggled.
Gray remained silent and he just waited for Erza to distract Jellal.
"So…what do you want Gray?" Ultear asked
"Ultear… what can you tell me about Zeref?" Gray asked
"Wow! What an unexpected question Gray" Ultear said surprised
"What do you want to know? And Why?" Ultear asked.
"Well, do you know something about cursing?" Gray asked
"Cursing? Why?" Ultear responded raising an eyebrow.
"Do you remember when you met Natsu…what he was wearing" Gray said
"Mmmm…. I remember some things, I don't know him you guys are his friends why do you ask me that?" Ultear responded.
"Do you remember his scarf?" Gray asked.
"Oh, yeah…his black scarf?" Ultear said.
"Black? His scarf has always been white, but now" Gray said as he then showed the scarf to Ultear.
"Mmm…it is exactly the same one he was wearing that day. What do you mean his scarf was white before?" Ultear asked
"His scarf has always been white, but now Erza found it and it is black. Also you saying that his scarf was black...do you know what's going on?"
"Well Gray, with all due respect I don't know why you are making a fuss over a scarf?" Ultear asked
"I don't think he just changed his scarf, it was a very special gift from his foster father." Gray said in a firm voice.
"Mmmm…. Natsu is a Dragon Slayer right? So his father is a Dragon?" Ultear asked
"Yes that's what he said." Gray responded.
"Then this…. This is a great thing Gray…. Thanks for this!" Ultear said as she was admiring the scarf.
"Why the intrigue now?" Gray asked grabbing the scarf
"Don't you see…this is indeed Zeref's doing, this might bring us closer to him" Ultear said showing some excitement.
"This can lead us to Natsu… but why do you say this is Zeref's doing?" Gray asked
"Yes this can lead you guys to Natsu. I don't know why the scarf, but maybe this dragon gave it to Natsu to protect him. He knew something was going on or someone was chasing Natsu, so he gave this to Natsu as a protecting charm or something like that." Ultear said.
Gray took the scarf from Ultear's hands and he proceeded to fold it.
"Well I'm not going to give it to you. Erza was very clear, and she was the one who found it. She also told me to not say anything of this. We decided to tell you because probably you knew something." Gray said.
"Mhmmm…. She's cheating on Jellal. Hahaha. Well if Erza wants to find Natsu, then she needs to do what I say. As I said, we can detect Zeref's magic, and this one… it gives faint hints of magic. It is almost undetectable. Why?" Ultear asked.
"I don't know Ultear. Why do you think Natsu dropped his scarf?" Gray asked
"I don't know Gray. Let me search into this once we get back. Also who else are you going to tell about this?" Ultear asked.
"We were going to ask Wendy if she could trace Natsu with the smell. Or maybe she could remove the curse from it." Gray said.
"I don't know… but this is something we shouldn't say to anyone else ok" Ultear said in a demanding voice.
"Hope you don't say anything" Gray said.

"We parted ways here" Cana said to Makarov and Laxus.
"But, where are they?" Laxus asked
"The battle might have ended." Makarov said.
"Do you think they won?" Cana asked.
"There's that possibility in which they are reaching the guild by now, or the other possibility is that they lost and they need our help" Makarov said.
"Do you remember anything Cana, in which direction did they went?" Laxus asked.
"Mira was the last one to leave…so I think she headed that way" Cana said as she pointed towards Mirajane's direction.
"I'll go" Laxus said as he dashed towards where Mirajane was supposed to be.
"Never seen Laxus so worried before" Cana said.
"He only does that because he cares a lot for them" Makarov said.
"You mean *her*" Cana said as she then giggled.
"Anyways, let's split up and search for the others" Makarov said.

"Hey Erza…things have been a little awkward between us since that-" Jellal said, as he then blushed because he remembered the kiss.
Erza was stargazing and she wasn't paying attention.
"You know Jellal… how did you got back to your normal self?" Erza asked
"Oh…that's an unexpected question…but I don't know maybe because Ultear removed the mind-control for me. Also because deep inside I wanted to see you again…Erza" Jellal said as he then looked at Erza who was still looking at the sky.
"Mmmm… So wanting to see your friends, that's what got you back." Erza said as she then smiled and looked at Jellal.
"We should head back Jellal, it is getting late and we need to get ready for tomorrow." Erza said as she proceeded to walk away.
Jellal just nodded and followed her.

"What the…Lisanna! What happened!?" Cana said in a desperate tone.
Her friend was all bruised and it showed no hints of waking up anytime soon.
"Elfman?" Master said as he then approached what appeared to be him.
"What!?" Master said as he rushed towards Elfman.
The sight was impressive. His son was all battered up. His arms were broken and blood was all over his body. He showed no signs of life anymore. He immediately transformed and ran towards where they were supposed to meet.
"Cana! Laxus!" Master was shouting.
Few moments later he heard something.
"Master?" Cana said as she moved slowly towards him.
"We need to go… is that Lisanna?" Master asked
"Cana, Gramps" Laxus said as he was carrying Mirajane bridal style.
"What the!?" Cana yelled.
"Elfman?" Laxus asked as he saw his guild mate in that condition.
"I know" Master said with tears forming in his eyes.
"Cana" Master said coldly
"Yes?" Cana responded.
"Rush towards where Wendy and the others are." Master said.
"Bring her immediately. I will tell them what happened once they arrive." Master said.
"Yes" Cana said as she gave Lisanna to Master and she went as fast as she could.
"Let's go Laxus" Master said as he grabbed Lisanna and Elfman.
"Ok… do you have any idea who did this?" Laxus asked as they were both running.
"I think this is…his revenge" Master replied.
Laxus just nodded and he clenched his teeth.

"So you almost kill those guys!" Natsu yelled infuriated.
"We had to…they resisted" Vexius responded.
"Anyways…remove the façade Natsu, you agreed since the beginning." Vexius said in a serious tone.
"Yes you are affecting our plans here Natsu" Nezma responded
"I never agreed to this" Natsu said.
"Yes you did, you were the one who said that you wanted to get revenge on your previous guild." Vexius said.
"But that wasn't the thing that made me stay" Natsu responded
~What was it then~ Zeref said as he approached the trio.
"Master Zeref" Vexius and Nezma said as they both bowed to him.
~You seem to be having problems Natsu~ Zeref said.
"I came here to get answers Zeref" Natsu said as he approached Zeref.
~Ugh… you are a hot-head, you seem to still be having trouble coping with problems. ~ Zeref said as he then sighed.
~Natsu everyone here is serving a purpose…and you're not an exception. You're a team now, you need to face problems and solve them as a team. ~
"Why are you so interested in me Zeref? What am I? Why are you talking as if you know me from a long time ago?" Natsu asked
~I do know you from a long time, but this is not the time to explain. It is getting late and you need to get some rest. ~ Zeref said as he then turned around.
"Acnologia told me I was the chosen one…Chosen one for what?" Natsu asked in a pleading voice
~You're the chosen one to *end* with all the suffering in this world. ~ Zeref said not facing Natsu.
"End the suffering?" Natsu asked dumbfounded.
~The beginning of the end has begun. ~ Zeref said as he slowly started walking.
~You need to understand that otherwise you'll be of no use Natsu.
In every story and throughout anything else there's always a beginning and an end. I was the beginning of all of this cycle…pain, hatred, sadness…I've chosen you as the one who'll end it all. ~ Zeref said
Natsu was speechless he just stood there silent and waited for Zeref to disappear from his eyesight.
"The end huh…" Natsu thought
"Let's go" Nezma said as he placed his hand on Natsu's shoulder.
"What were you talking about with Master Zeref?" Nezma asked
"Nothing…let's go. I'm sorry for making a fuss." Natsu said calmly.
"Let's go then, but this has been bothering me since the first time you met Zeref" Vexius said.
"What?" Natsu asked
"Why do your eyes change color when you met Zeref, and after a little talk you are calm and composed?" Vexius asked
"It's true, the only times we've seen your eyes change color, was when we approached you, and when you use that mode, but all your appearance changes when you are in that form. I don't understand how if you have your restrainer and you're appearance hasn't changed, why your eyes resemble his?" Nezma asked.
"I don't know, it has bothered me as well, but I feel something that calms me. My emotions don't get in the way, I don't feel any remorse if I hit someone or something." Natsu responded calmly.
"Well…if that's something that doesn't lets you lose your composure, then it is better for me if you stay that way" Vexius said.
"Let's head back it has been a long day" Nezma said as he then approached his friends and teleported them.

"Wendy!" Gray shouted
"Yes, Gray?" Wendy said timidly.
"I need to ask you something" Gray said in a serious tone.
"What… May…that be?" Wendy stuttered as she was getting scared.
"Come with me" Gray said as he then grabbed her and Ultear saw them pass by.
"Do you recognize this scarf?" Gray asked
"Uhhmmm… yes it is Natsu's, but why is it black?" Wendy asked as she grabbed the scarf.
"That's what we want to know. We think it is Zeref's doing and I was going to ask if you could trace Natsu with this." Gray said.
"My nose is not as effective as Natsu's…. I'm sorry" Wendy said in a sad tone.
"Oh… well do you think you can revert it to its normal state?" Gray asked
"I don't know, I can try, but I don't promise anything" Wendy responded.
"Wait" Ultear said as she took the scarf from Wendy.
"Don't do anything yet, let me have a look, if I don't find anything then you can try and take off the curse" Ultear said.
"Ok" Wendy said shyly
"You have until tomorrow" Gray said
"Where is Meredy?" Gray asked
"Uhh, she was worried and she went to look for you guys" Wendy responded.
"Oh, maybe she found Jellal and Erza. Do not say a word to anyone…ok Wendy?" Gray said in a menacing voice.
"Y-es" Wendy responded in a scared tone.
"Where is Carla?" Gray asked
"She's in the hut, when you told me to come with you, I left her there." Wendy responded.
Not far from there Carla was hidden and she had heard everything.
"That's why my premonitions were constantly changing and they were not making any sense" Carla said to herself.
***************Few moments later*****************
"Let's head back to Fairy Tail" Erza said, as now everyone was in the hut.
"You guys can stay till tomorrow, it is late now" Jellal suggested.
"That's true" Gray said.
*SLAM* everyone turned to see the responsible for slamming the door.
*Pant* *Pant*
"Wendy…" Cana said as she was trying to regain her breath.
"You need to go to the guild now, something happened" Cana said as she started dragging Wendy.
"What happened?" Lucy asked.
"Mirajane, Lisanna and Elfman, they were attacked" Cana said
"Let's go" Cana said as she grabbed Wendy
"Attacked?" Gray asked
"Master wants everybody there now." Cana said.
Everyone just nodded and followed Cana.
********************At the guild********************************
"Lisanna is awake" Lucy said to Master.
"Ok, Laxus follow me" Master said.
"Lisanna dear, how are you feeling?" Master asked.
"Uhm…fine I guess… I have something to tell you Master" Lisanna said.
"Go ahead" Master said.
*Lisanna explained everything*
"I see" Master said calmly.
"Get some more rest my dear, Laxus go to my office with Jellal."
"What do you want to talk about?" Laxus said.
"Well, I talked with the council and with the organizers of the GMG, I asked for the participating guilds. If what Lisanna said is true then we might be seeing Natsu in the GMG." Master said.
"Why?" Jellal asked
"Because apparently a guild name Stygian Phoenix took down my son's guild Raven Tail. With this they assured their place in the GMG. I don't know how many members are there, but it is strange because it is their first time appearing in the GMG." Master said.
"If what you said is true…and if he's the culprit we cannot stay quiet" Laxus said while smirking.
"Of course we won't stay quiet. If things get wilder we'll need to take some drastic measures. Well…not a word to anyone about this…ok?" Master said glaring at both.
"Yes" Both Laxus and Jellal said.
"Jellal stay here I need to talk with you. Laxus go and check on Mirajane and see if she's awake" Master said.
Laxus excused himself and went to where Mirajane was.

"Ouch…" Mirajane said as she was waking up.
"What happened" she was saying as she was slowly opening her eyes.
"Natsu?" She turned around and saw a man gazing at her.
"I'm Laxus" Laxus said while smiling.
"Oh…Why am I here?" She asked as she was trying to get up.
Laxus immediately helped her.
"We found you in the forest, you were out" Laxus said in a serious tone.
"Oh….Where are Lisanna and Elfman?" Mira asked.
"Can you stand up? Or do you want me to carry you?" Laxus said playfuly
"Why?" Mira asked
"You guys were attacked, Lisanna is fine she's asleep, but Elfman is still unconscious." Laxus said.
Mirajane immediately stood up, but her body ached.
"Hey, don't push yourself, let me help you" Laxus said as he grabbed Mirajane.
"I can do this" Mirajane said neglecting Laxus's help.
"Oh…ok, this way then." Laxus said as he led the way.
Evergreen was inside and she was crying all over Elfman's unconscious body.
"Evergreen" Laxus said as he opened the door.
"Elfman?" Mirajane said as she ran towards his brother.
"What happened?" Mirajane said as she started crying.
"Give us a moment please" Laxus said as Evergeen acceded to his request.
"Who did this!?" Mirajane yelled while crying.
"You know…Mira. It piqued my interest that when you woke up you mentioned Natsu." Laxus said approaching to where she was.
"What do you mean?" Mira said between sobs.
"Apparently the guy who did this to Elfman is Natsu's comrade. Lisanna explained everything to us and I wonder who the guy that you fought was?" Laxus asked raising an eye.
"I…" Mirajane stood silent.
"I fought Natsu" Mirajane said.
"And how did it go? Because you were unconscious but nothing else? No bruises…nothing." Laxus asked.

"Gray" Erza said as she dragged him and Wendy.
"Where's the scarf?" Erza asked
"Right here" Gray said pulling the scarf out of his jacket.
"Erza" Ultear said as she followed them.
"Hide that thing" Ultear said in a demanding voice
"Why?" Erza asked
"Give it to me. Jellal is going to notice. Can't you sense it? It is Zeref's magical pressure." Ultear said as she grabbed the scarf.
She then did a spell and it concealed the magic.
"Wendy, use your magic" Ultear said as she handed the scarf.
"It is interesting how a few moments ago the scarf showed no signs of magic, but now…what happened?" Ultear asked.
"I don't know" Gray said.
Wendy used her magic and the scarf turned white.
"Oh, impressive… keep it on observation, don't show it to anyone else" Ultear said handing the scarf to Erza.
Erza nodded.

"Ugh!" Natsu said while he clenched his fist and his teeth.
"You in pain?" Nezma asked.
"Yes… what is this?" Natsu said as the pain was starting to fade.
"I've been wondering…where is my scarf Nezma?" Natsu asked
"Oh, Zeref gave it to me in case you went out of control or on a rampage." Nezma said.
"Where's the scarf?" Natsu said.
"It is safe" Nezma said.
"Better be" Natsu responded as he stood up and left.
"Where did you dropped the scarf?" Vexius asked
"In the beach. It is safe, we need him to get used to his power." Nezma said.
"Zeref gave the order?" Vexius asked.
"He told me that we needed to get rid of that eventually…so I did." Nezma said.
"Ok…get everything ready for tomorrow." Vexius said as he then left.
This is chapter 10 guys, it may have been a little boring. I had a lot of ideas, but these were the ones that fitted. When I was halfway through I got stuck, but I think now I explained some things that I wanted you guys to know.
