"Let's just take a quick break guys." Aria instructed after taking a last shot of Caleb and Olivia's pre-nuptial photo. They are in a resort with a beautiful garden set for the shoot.
"Hey Aria, can I see some of the pictures?" Olivia asked approaching Aria, leaving Caleb behind.
"Sure, let me just connect the memory card in my laptop so you can get a better view." Aria said.
"Okay, I'll come with you." Olivia said.
"Follow me." Aria said started to walk to the outdoor table where she placed her laptop and her other photography equipment.
Meanwhile, Caleb walked to the reserved room that they used as a dressing room and make-up room. Hanna was currently arranging clothes on the rack in the right corner opposite to where they placed the make-up chair and tables.
"Hey," Caleb greeted.
"Hi, are you going to change clothes again?" Hanna asked.
"No, we're taking a break for a bit." Caleb said leaning by the table crossing his arms into his chest.
"Uh... Okay." Hanna said continuing to arrange the clothes.
"So, who's the twin in the picture?" Caleb asked looking at Hanna's back while she worked.
"What?" Hanna asked facing him with a confused expression all over her face.
"The twin babies in the picture, in your wallet." Caleb explained.
"Oh... You've seen that." Hanna said.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to invade through your wallet but I just need to, to know who it belongs to." Caleb explained.
"They're my nephews, my cousin's sons." Hanna said nodding coming up with a lie.
"You must've been really close to them." Caleb commented.
"Yeah, those kids are the sweetest." Hanna said smiling.
"You really love kids." Caleb said smiling. Hanna loving kids is one in a million things he loved about her.
"Yeah, I babysat kids in high school, remember?" Hanna said.
"You've been pretty patient with them. Remember the naughty kid that you babysat, who almost stick a gum in my hair." Caleb said chuckling.
"Ben, yeah I caught him about to spit the gum in your hair while you're sleeping in the couch in my house." Hanna said.
"If you don't catch him, I almost have to give up my precious hair." Caleb said running one hand into his shiny longish hair.
"You should be thankful I came to rescue your hair." Hanna said with a little laugh.
"Yeah," Caleb said laughing.
"If you were to cut your hair unwillingly because of the gum, I think you would be crying like a baby while doing so." Hanna said laughing.
"Maybe I would, I would feel naked if I were to cut this off." Caleb said touching his hair while laughing.
"I can imagine." Hanna said laughing with him.
"What are you two laughing at?" Olivia interrupted walking through the door.
"Nothing, just some old stuff in high school," Caleb said.
"Something about his obsession with his hair," Hanna said.
"Oh, you want to know the secret about his hair." Olivia said excitedly.
Hanna just smiled in response. Olivia go on telling Hanna the secret why Caleb maintained his longish black hair as if Hanna didn't knew about it. Hanna just smiled and pretended to be interested with her story while Caleb watched the two girls awkwardly.
"I think I should go out so you two can get change before we start the shoot again." Hanna said.
"Okay, we'll just see you outside." Olivia said.
Hanna just stood behind Aria while her best friend take last series of pre-nuptial photos of Caleb and Olivia. She can feel a fang of jealousy stabbing hard in her whole being while watching how Caleb hold Olivia and how Olivia can freely wrap her arms around him. She used to do that, she used to be the girl who can freely do that. How she wish she was in Olivia's place right now, how she wish to be the girl he was holding and caressing, and how she wish that she's the one he is about to marry. She turned on her heel to walk away and not to watch the love of her life caressing another girl anymore. She took few steps heading to their dressing room, looking at the ground as she walked away. She stopped when she noticed a pair of black leather shoes in front of her shoes. She look up to a tall man with broad shoulders, tanned skin, prominent jawline, wide smile that goes up to his dark brown eyes.
"Penn," She said smiling.
"Surprise, Surprise." Penn said.
"What are you doing here? I thought you're taking care of some things in Philly." Hanna said.
"I missed you already that's why I'm here." Penn said. He lean in and placed a kiss on her forehead. "How about we take Carter to the park before we head off to the get together dinner later?" Penn asked wrapping his arms around her waist.
"Carter's not here, he's spending weekend with his Grandpa." Hanna said.
"So, I don't have to wait 'till bedtime." Penn said with a playful smirk.
"Hmmn... Let's see." Hanna said smiling.
"Hey Penn," Aria said approaching them with her camera strapped around her neck.
"Hi Aria," Penn greeted back.
"So, are we done?" Hanna asked brunette best friend.
"Yeah, It's pack up time." Aria replied.
"Good, I'm tired." Hanna said leaning her head on Penn's arm.
"I thought Hanna will be dateless with me this week?" Aria asked looking at Penn.
"Well, he came back earlier." Hanna said.
"My dad is an ass so I'd rather be with my girl than to deal with him." Penn said.
"I guess, I would be the seventh wheel this week." Aria said.
"Where is Ezra?" Penn asked.
"Book Launch in Cali." Aria said.
"Oh... Don't worry, Toby and I will try our best to keep our hands off of our girls so you won't get out of place." Penn joked that earns him an elbow from Hanna.
"Thanks." Aria said chuckling.
"So, where are the love birds you are taking pictures of?" Penn asked looking around behind Aria.
"Probably changing and preparing to leave." Aria said.
"Do you bring your car here?" Penn asked Hanna.
"No, I ride with Aria." Hanna said.
"Good." Penn said looking at Hanna. "So, can I steal her away?" Penn asked Aria.
"Nope, not until you guys help me pack up." Aria said shaking her head side to side.
"Penn, can do it." Hanna said smiling widely while pushing her boyfriend away.
"Let's go big guy." Aria said pulling Penn by the arm.
"Now, I've just realized that it's a bad idea missing you and coming all the way here." Penn said looking at Hanna.
"Too bad, you can't back down now." Hanna said chuckling while watching Aria and Penn walk away.
Meanwhile, Caleb is watching Hanna and Penn in the distance. He was really jealous of Penn having an amazing girl like Hanna. He was just such a jerk for letting her go but maybe if he didn't let her go that time he won't be able to still live and see her again. God knows how much she wanted her back into his life but he doesn't know how to get her back.
-Flashback-
It was the night Caleb and the other kids that are part of the curse finally broke the curse. Caleb was watching as the spirits trapped with the curse have been set free and vanishes through the air. He smiled and tear up at the same time realizing that everything was over. He can finally get back to Rosewood and win Hanna back. He can finally come home to her. He doesn't know what her reaction will be but all he know is he had to win her back. He looked around as Remy and Luke hugged and kissed. Olivia was standing behind him with her arms crossed to her chest smiling while tears streamed down her face.
"It's finally over." Olivia told him smiling while tears continue to fall out from her eyes.
"Yeah finally," He said awkwardly.
"I'm sorry again for what I did, that cause you and your girlfriend to break up. I really am sorry but everything is over now you can go back to her." Olivia said.
"All is forgiven." Caleb said.
"You deserve to be happy." Olivia said enveloping him into a hug.
"You too," Caleb whispered.
"Hey Guys." They were all startled with Miranda's ghostly voice. They all face where the voice came from.
Miranda is standing in front of them smiling. "Hi," they all greeted back.
"Thanks a lot for everything. You guys you make me feel that I belong for the first time in my life even I don't have a life anymore. I may not be able to live again but having real friends like you guys are the best thing that ever came with all this curse and scary stuff." Miranda said.
"We'll never forget you." Olivia said.
"Yeah sure, you won't I'm remarkable." Miranda said chuckling.
"We will miss you especially at times that people thought we were crazy talking to someone they can't see." Remy said.
Miranda let out a little laugh and turn to face Caleb who is staring at her intently. "Caleb, thank you so much you have no idea of how grateful I am to know you and when you come home to Hanna tell her I'm grateful too to have known her. You two deserve to be happy." Miranda said and her ghostly hands touch Caleb's forehead the way she did when they first met. Caleb just smiled at her. Miranda took a step backward and gave them a last wave before she vanishes together with the other ghosts.
Caleb bid Remy, Luke, and Olivia goodbye before hopping in into his jeep. He can't wait much longer to go home and see Hanna. Two years has been long enough to see her, he can't waste another minute going home to her. He drove as fast as he can to Rosewood. The sun is already rising when he passed by the welcome sign. He smiled widely continuing to drive knowing he was near home in the arms of the love of his life.
Upon seeing her home, Caleb pulled up in front and got out of his jeep. He ran to the front door and pressed the doorbell. He waited for few seconds but no one answered. He pressed the doorbell again in his frustration and still no one answered. He went down the front step and ran to the back door. He turned the knob but it's securely locked. He heard a car pulling up in the driveway in front of the house so he ran back in front and saw Ted and Ashley getting out of the car.
"Ms. Marin," he called as he walked towards her.
"Caleb," Ashley said surprised by her daughter's ex suddenly showing up.
"Hi, where is Hanna?" Caleb asked.
"She already left." Ashley said hesitantly.
"Where?" Caleb said.
"We just dropped her off to the airport she's going to Paris to study." Ted said standing behind Ashley.
"Can I still catch her?" Caleb asked.
"I don't think so she might already board the plane." Ashley said looking at her watch.
"I'm too late." Caleb whispered. He was about to tear up. He wanted to smack himself for not coming back earlier.
"I'm sorry, she needs to get away." Ashley said simply tapping Caleb's shoulder.
"Thank you, Ms. Marin." Caleb said simply. With that, Caleb run back to his car and hopped back in.
-End of Flashback-
"Babe," Olivia called from behind him, snapping him back to reality.
"What?" Caleb said turning his head to face her.
"Will you help me load this thing to the car?" Olivia asked carrying bags of dresses.
"Sure," he said taking the bags from her.
"Thank you." Olivia said in her tiptoes placing a kiss on his cheek. He just smiled and walked out of the room to his car.
When he walked to his car, he saw Penn already in the parking lot loading some photography equipment into Aria's SUV.
"Hey Caleb," Penn greeted upon seeing him.
"Hi," he greeted back loading the bags into the trunk of his car.
"Can I ask you something?" Penn asked after loading the last of the equipment and closing the trunk.
"Sure, what is it?" Caleb said.
"You've known Hanna since high school right?" Penn said walking towards him while pulling it something from his pocket.
"Yeah, why?" Caleb said.
"Do you think she would like this?" Penn said showing a velvet box in front of him while opening it.
Caleb saw a really expensive looking diamond ring. "Why are you asking me?" Caleb asked looking up at Penn.
"I think if I asked her friends they might slip it up that I am proposing and if it's a guy I ask, sure you won't tell anything." Penn said.
"Wait, you're proposing to her?" Caleb asked immediately.
"Yes, I really wanted too maybe since the first time we met. She's the very first girl who said no to me and that's what made her different." Penn said smiling.
"She really is one of a kind." Caleb said.
"Yeah, she is and I can't wait to be with her and have her forever." Penn said.
"Hanna had been through a lot in high school, she had been tortured and got hurt a lot of times. She had been through a lot as it is, Just please don't hurt her or I'll beat the crap out of you or even kill you with my bare hands." Caleb said looking straight into Penn's eyes.
"Caleb, trust me that is the least thing I would do." Penn said putting back the ring in his pocket.
"Make sure of that." Caleb said.
"Alright, so do you think she will like the ring?" Penn asked.
"Knowing Hanna, she likes sparkling stuff." Caleb said simply.
"Thanks, Man. Wish me luck." Penn said tapping Caleb's shoulder.
"Good Luck." Caleb said hesitantly and secretly wishing Hanna would say no.
"I should get back to them now." Penn said walking away.
Caleb just smiled and wave him goodbye. He turned on his heel about to get back where he left Olivia when he saw her walking towards him.
"I already told them we were leaving. Are you driving me home?" Olivia said.
"I guess I can but I don't think I can stay with you. I'm meeting some friends tonight." Caleb said.
"Okay," Olivia said.
"Let's go then." Caleb said walking to the passenger side of his car to open the car door for Olivia. She hopped in and Caleb went to the driver side to get in too.
He started up the engine and pulled out of the parking lot. He drove out of Rosewood heading to Ravenswood where Olivia is currently residing. It's not really pretty convenient taking your girlfriend home with a long one and a half hour of drive but he could use a long drive, he needs a lot of thinking anyway.
Penn's upcoming proposal bothers him a lot, if Hanna will say 'Yes' it will be the end and he can't afford to lose her forever. He needs to take urgent action to take her back and the only solution is to break up with Olivia so he can be free to have Hanna but it wasn't the easiest thing to do. He glanced at Olivia on the passenger side who smiled at him lovingly. He turned his eyes to the road again and continued to drive. He can't bear to hurt Olivia, she had been his friend since the day he got tied up into a curse with her, they had been through a lot of ups and downs in years that he have known her. She had been pretty patient with him the time that he got really broken losing Hanna. He have to make up his mind before he regret every decision he had made and before it's too late to fix everything.
'Why does it have to be this complicated?' he thought.
