A chapter that almost took me a month in the making! with all the real life stuff and work I had, I barely found the time to write this!

Chapter 10
All the summoners have gathered at the main courtyard around a large stage platform, donned in black robes they all come to pay their last respects to their fallen arch summoner. Tenshin was placed on it dressed in white robes, his arms on top on each other at the center of his chest.
At the stage stood Rain, Skarf, Katy and Savos, Rain while usually goes hoodless, no covered her head with her robes hood, her black hair falling out of it, as the summoners and champions have gathered, Rain caught their attention and began to speak.
"We have gathered here today, to say our final goodbyes to our master, mentor, for some of us even a father-figure…." She said loud enough for all of them to hear, her voice was filled with grief.
"The attack on the institute has cost us a great price, chief among them…. Tenshin…. murdered by the assassins, along with our fellow summoners
"Carry Tenshin and our comrades in your hearts…. Know that their deaths will be avenged…" she said this as if it's was a certain promise, but some things are better left unclear.
"And now, our newest Arch-summoner will say a few words as well, please…. Arch-Summoner Skarf" she opened her hand in an inviting gesture towards Skarf who approached and took her place as she backed away toward where Diana and Esdese stood.
"I know it was not easy for you…." Diana whispered as she hugged Rain, Esdese followed her by rubbing Rain's back "we're here for you my dead master"
"First Salazar died… now Tenshin murdered…." She held back her tears and broke of the hug softly, trying to be as strong as she can be, like always…
She looked at Skarf and waited for him to finish his speech and give her the sign to light the fire, as he finished addressing the summoners, saying his own words about Tenshin he turned to her and said softly.
"Rain….if you please…"
With a gentle smile, she turned towards Tenshin, her hand began to light as a torch and as she touched the woods, the fire began to spread.
"Find peace in the embrace of the gods…." She said warmly and bowed her head down, as well as the rest of the presents, for the moment of silence.
The councilors sat in the office along with Rain's companions; none has said a word to each other for a few minutes, as Rain and Skarf were too busy looking at the map of Ionia trying to think where the assassins might have gone with Syndra, when suddenly there was a knock on the door.
"We said we do not wish to be disturbed!" Savos said with a hostile tone.
"I apologize, but we must speak with you urgently" the voice said as they came in to the council chamber.
It was Karma, along with Soraka, Irellia Shen and Akali. Karma had a worried look on her face as she began to speak.
"I come here as a messenger of the Ionian elder council, this latest incident was not of our doing and had hurt us personally as it did the Institute."
Rain looked at her annoyed "Karma, words of apology will not bring Tenshin back, words will not bring me my Syndra back…" she said as she rose up and began to approach her, making everyone in the room slightly worried.
"Deeds! Not words! So unless you have something useful to say, like the location of these bastards, see yourself out!" she screamed and the room shook slightly.
"Karma came here to offer her help in any kind" Akali came to her defense.
"Don't throw your failures on us, giving how easy it was for us to get in here now-" Rain began to chuckle
"Oh this is where you're wrong Akali….
"This time, both Skarf and I are here….. There is no better defense than that…." Her voice filled with hostility made Akali back a few steps.
"Rain…. Please…" Skarf quickly calmed her down, and she withdrew.
"Karma what is it that you want?" Skarf inquired.
"I took the liberty of notifying the Kinkou order of this incident, and have them search for any traces of these assassins"
"Thank you, but that could take days; we need to act quickly if we are to rescue Syndra before they'll succeed in gaining control on her."
"Skarfy is right, we need to start thinking where could they hide and operate without any problems" Jinx suddenly showed up from behind Skarf and made everyone jump.
"Oh come on, don't tell me you aren't used to it by now"
"We need a map of all the Kinkou bases" Savos grabbed everyone's attention again.
"Savos is right, with this kind of map, you guys can tell us which bases are truly your bases" Katy explained.
"I suppose it's true…" Irellia agreed.
"There is also another way, while you check the map" Esdese stepped in.
"Esdese and I can perform…. A blood ritual involved with soul essence…." Rain completed her.
"What do you mean Rain...?" Skarf asked slightly afraid of the answer.
"I can track Syndra by using blood magic, her blood is in me, and my blood is in her…." She answered rather embarrassed.
"Then it's settled, you and Esdese begin the ritual, while we look over the map." Skarf declared.
"Very well, Esdese come."
Somewhere in Ionia
Syndra was strained to the wall; chains at her arms surrounded by sealing runes to keep her at bay, as Elder Kion approached her and slammed her head with his fist.
"Not so tough now are you sovereign?!" he roared as she looked at his with a mocking gaze, causing his fury to build up even more.
He was prepared to hit her again, when suddenly the door was open and a shout was heard
"Enough!"
The Masked Queen approached them with two assassins escorting her "We don't want to damage our prized artifact now, do we?" She asked quietly yet intimidating.
"You play a dangerous game! I agreed to Kidnapping that monster, but killing off the arch-summoner!? This is-" she raised her hand and made him pause
"All was necessary to allow us to reach where we are now, elder" she turned to face him.
"Soon I will have full control over Syndra, and once I do, I shall become a god, and our problems will cease to exist"
"I still have doubts of you controlling this…. This…!" she paused him yet again
"That is why I'm the one doing the dirty work, and you the cleaning, now leave us" something about those peach black eyes of that mask, made Kion feel uneasy…
"V-very well el… I mean Masked Queen, I shall go check the security for now" he collected himself and gained his composure, only to have it destroyed by Syndra's sudden yet wicked chuckle.
"Little Elder~ when these chains come off, and they will, at the first five minutes….you're going to be the first one to die" She looked at him and could tell he was absolutely terrified, as he quickly left the room.
"Now that wasn't so nice, we'll have to work on that….
"We'll have plenty of time for that once I take over Ionia, along with Kion and the other elders." Syndra looked at her; somehow that last detail did not surprise her.
The Masked Queen looked at her "You didn't think Kion was the only elder under my leash did you?
"You made me a lot of trouble over the years…. You couldn't just be a good pet and do what you master told you? If Sahashi would have been smarter that day…." Syndra looked at her shocked.
"Sahashi….."
"Yes, the master who raised you and betrayed you…. My own student nonetheless." The Queen sighed.
"You killed him…. But he was a fool, to think he can control you…. But I, I'm much stronger." Syndra looked down; all her life was a deceiving lie after another, and now this is the person behind all of it….
"Worry not we-" She was cut off by Syndra sudden burst of laughter
"When Rain and the others get here, you will be in a lot of pain…. Trust me, I've seen her angry" she smiled mockingly towards the Masked Queen.
"Oh that's very nice, but there is one slight problem with that; they don't know where we are…."
"Soon….. She'll know….." she spoke as if it was a promise, though the Queen wanted to know more, she decided to let it go for now and exit the room, leaving Syndra to her delusions.
"Rain, how's it going? We-"
"Just be quiet! We got to focus a lot on this!" Rain said as she and Esdese embraced each other in the middle of crimson circle, combined with pale green lights as a result from the soul essence that spin around them, the two closed their eyes and let their mind drift to where the both the blood and essence will take them.
"I see….. A temple, in the middle of the forest….. At the bottom of a misty mountain…." Rain said while trying to keep the link as long as the two could.
"Three tensed souls…. Those three are elders…." She added.
"I count over sixty souls…. And…..I… I…. GAHHH!" Esdese screamed in pain causing the link break, and the two fell on each other, panting heavily.
"Are you two ok?!" Skarf and the other rushed to them, and came to stop as Rain raised her palm and signaled them.
"Esdese…. What did you see…?" Rain said quietly as she lowered herself to Esdese who panted hard, and began to cry.
"Shhh. It's ok my darling, you did wonderfully, it was too much to ask you to hold on any longer" she comfort her as she got up and with Esdese in her arms.
"I'm sorry… But, I saw where they are…" Esdese managed to say through her sobs, and grabbed everyone's attention.
"Where?" Rain asked.
"The temple of the pure ones…. I believe that's the name….
"I pried into the mind of that elder….the one they call Kion…" She said quietly
"Kion is a part of it…..no, that can't be…." Karma said stunned.
"Keep it together Karma, Skarf... what's the plan" Rain asked.
"Well for starters we need to make our way there, council members only." He declared.
"You must be a complete nut-job if you think I'm letting you go alone Skarfy" Jinx pouted and Skarf gave her a worried look.
"Don't gimme that, Syndra is my friend and so is Rain, I'm coming. End of story."
"I agree, Rain we're coming too" Diana stated, both Esdese and Lulu nodding in agreement.
"The least we could do is aid you, me and Soraka will join as well" Karma added
Both Skarf and Rain looked amazed as their friends and loved ones were so determined to join the cause of saving Syndra.
"Rain….both Draven and I will join too." Katarina stated placing her hand on Rain's Shoulder.
"Kat…. I…"
"We have been friends since we were kids, don't go emotional on me now" she giggled.
"Plus, no battle is a true battle without Draven!" he declared, Rain was about to say something when Caitlyn and Vi joined in.
"Us too! We're coming as well!" Vi shouted making Jinx look at her stunned.
"We're friends too, and also…. I can't let my sister go alone and have all the fun" Vi said with a slight blush, placing her hand behind her head and looking aside, when suddenly, Jinx hugged her tightly.
"Hey! what are you…"
"I know I'm a pain in the ass sometimes….. But really….thanks sis…" she said with a sincere tone, and made Vi return the hug.
"Oh come, don't get so mushy on me" she said with a smile.
"Ok so we got a team, now what's the plan?" Katy inquired
"Simple yet tricky" Skarf said as a map of the area was forming on the council table.
"We need to infiltrate their base somehow, and according to Esdese it'll be heavily guarded"
"This Road is mostly traveled by merchants…." Karma added when Jinx jumped in
"We could impose as a merchant caravan!" She said excitedly
"You sure this will work, Jinx?" Savos asked.
"I'm known as the master of escapes for a reason!" she said proudly as she hit her chest.
"So that's the plan, but we have to capture the elders alive, so we could reveal this entire operation" Karma stated.
"Not the Masked Queen….."
"She's not walking out of this alive." Rain stated.
"We'll handle her…" Savos Tried to comfort
"No, she's mine to deal with" Rain said with a fierce tone.
"Ok, than we have our plan, let move out." Skarf ordered.
Ionia, Temple of the pure ones
Two guards stood outside the main gate entrance to the temple, they both starched up as Kion arrived.
"All is good here?" he asked rather impatiently
"Yes sir, none came here other than a few merchants that were sent away."
"Good, good. Keep us informed of all activities" he ordered and took his leave, allowing the men to return to their post.
A few minutes after that, a carriage made her way towards the gate entrance, a sole figure dressed in a long sleeved simple red robe a hat and a scarf covering her lower part of the face, making only her eyes visible.
Along with her were two horses, one carries the caravan, the other was led by its owner, with another person laid on its back.
"Halt! This is Ionian government property! Turn away now!" one of the guards yelled toward the carriage owner.
"Greetings mighty warriors!" She said with a cracked imitated voice.
"I do not wish to disturb your mighty task, but I must request that you will give me but a moment of your precious time!" she bowed to them, the two looked at each other; clearly she was not a threat, and lowered their swords.
Jinx smiled, her act was rather convincing, as she expected from a genius such as her.
*flashback*
"So you want to infiltrate their base as Disguised Merchant" Savos asked.
"Pretty much, yeah, I'll use one of us as bait, and lure as many of them out them out, with luck they might let me inside that should let Ladybones enough time to track Ladyball" she pointed at Esdese who got slightly embarrassed by the nickname.
"I never thought you'll suggest a sneaky plan like that Jinx, I was sure you'll want to blast your way in" Katy said amazed to her plan
"ngh…. I want to! But Skarfy said that won't do any good! Meanie…." She looked at him with a disappointed look.
"No worries, worst case scenario, we always have plan B." Rain smiled.
"So wait, Draven is confused, who plays the bait?" he asked, and was answered with a punch for bot Jinx and Vi.
*flashback ends*
"Ugh…..what happened" Draven said heavily.
Before he could even understand what has happened, Jinx removed the sack that was covering his face, and revealed him to the assassins, that were now fifteen.
"Behold! The mistake of the gods!" She declared, the moment the soldiers got a look at Draven and recognized him, they began to whisper among themselves.
"How did you, a lowly merchant managed to take captive the Noxus executioner?" the commander asked suspiciously.
"Oh….. I have found him in my farm. While I was watering my fields of corn, I found him, messing with my crops, I hit him on the head and he passed out" she said while bowing to the commander over and over, she really wanted to punch herself for bowing to this asshole.
"Rather lucky of you" he signaled two of his men to take the prisoner and get him inside.
"Thank you for your service, not get out of here!"
"Jinx it's no good, stall them a little longer" Skarf said trough their mental link
"But…. But good Sir, surely you could help this poor soul….. Maybe buy some of my corn? I keep fresh corn in my carriage!" she tried to buy some more time, but was pushed back by the commander.
"Get out of here. I will not repeat myself twice" Ok, she really wanted to kill him, but not yet.
"Jinx dear, Esdese needs more time…. Try something, anything!" Rain added
As the two soldiers removed Draven from the horse, Jinx got up. Trying to figure what she could do more in order to stall them, she was so focused she didn't notice her words.
"Thank you good Sirs, I shall return to my Cows now" she turned around to the carriage when suddenly she realized what she said, she messed up and to her unfortunate luck, the commander noticed it.
"Halt!" he approached her and she tried to act as calm as possible.
"First you said you grew corn, not you say you grow COWS?" he asked hostilely.
"I….uh I grow them both!" she said
"I like to diversify" trying to find a way out of this mess, with no success.
"Where is your farm exactly?" the commander asked her, and she went wide-eyed; she might be a good at making things up, but she had no idea about the Ionian lands.
"This is bad…..we're blowing our cover…. We gotta hurry" Vi whispered from the carriage.
"My….My farm is just by the river side…. Near uh…"
"Where by the river side?" the commander began to lose his patience
"Uh guys….. We better start rethinking this…." Draven said as the two soldiers pointed their swords to his neck.
"You…. You ask such strange things, I'm just-"
"WHERE IS YOUR FARM?!" he roared as he drew his swords and pointed at her,
"Outsider!?"All his soldiers drew their swords as well, now ready to charge.
"My farm…." This was no longer going to last and she couldn't risk blowing the cover just yet, everything seemed to go out of plan when suddenly Skarf and Rain came up in the mental link.
"Yes! Found her!" Rain declared.
"Jinx…. Go to plan B" under the rugs that covered her face, a devious smile was forming.
"My farm….." the commander got near her.
"Here's my motherfucking farm!" removing her robes she revealed Pow-Pow who formed to his original size, Fishbones at her back. Not giving them any time to react she blast them all in a storm of bullets from her minigun.
"OH yeah baby, come on! Make mommy proud!" she screamed with excitement, as Rain, Skarf and the rest of their companions Got out and joined the fight.
"Attack!" Rain roared as she jumped forward, knocking her enemies with a powerful shockwave.
"Close the gate! Close the-"Draven knocked him out with a styled punch.
"FUUUUCCCCCKKKK YOU!" Jinx came to stop and hugged her minigun, nothing but a few Assassins that were running back to the temple, she shot up, her eyes sparkling with adrenalin.
"I'm a lane farmer, motherfucker!" she screamed.
As they all regroup after the destruction they just caused, the alarm has been sound and the main gate was almost completely closed.
"Dammit! We need to open the gate!" Savos said.
"Leave that to me!" With that sudden declaration, Jinx activated her speed booster, and rushed towards the gate, climbing on the wall by jumping on every rock she could find on it.
"God damn cat…." Vi said witnessing her performance.
Before the assassin could even understand what she has done, Jinx was at the top of the wall, and jumped as high as she could.
Kion Stormed outside to see why the alarms were set "What is happening?!" HE roared and stopped as soon as he noticed the blue-haired Psychopath at the air.
"Behold! My Ultimate…..Creation!" She screamed mid-air as pulled out Fishbones and aimed it to the gate.
"Super-Mega-Ultra-Awesome-DEATH-ROCKETS!" out of the rocket launcher was fire a large rocket making his way to the sealed gate, mid-way the rocket exploded, turning into a dozen smaller rockets, all landed on the gate, blowing it…..and everything else that was near it.
"Knock-knock bitches! Open up!" she screamed as she landed perfectly on her feet, leaving both her enemies, and allies frozen in place.
"Skarf…."
"Yes Rain...?"
"Your girlfriend, is scarcely badass….." She said completely stunned from that little show.
"Tell me about it…." He responded with a small smile.
As they all entered, they were now, at the middle of the full army of assassin that gathered in the courtyard of the temple.
"Kill them! Kill all of them now!" Kion roared as he rushed back inside the temple
"There's plenty for all of us" Vi said clutching her gauntlets.
"May the best champ..." Katarina added.
"Wins" they all said in unison and charged in.
Fireballs and Knifes met bullets and raw force, Skarf freeze dhal of the ground, while Rain sucked the blood out of her enemies, and created spears from it.
"Savos behind you!" Katy yelled as a solider jumped on him, only to fall on the ground, and find out that was an illusion.
"They always fall for that" he smiled as he knocked him unconscious.
"Polymorph! Polymorph! Polymorph!" Lulu Screamed as she kept turning every assassins she encountered into various things.
"Sis! Ten already!" Jinx yelled excitingly
"I'm at twenty-two little sis!" Vi screamed.
"What!? I will not let Fathands out-score me!" she screamed as she launched another missile toward a nearby tower.
"Glad to see you're having fun sweetie" Skarf said as he came next to her.
"Oh Skarfy, the best!" she said as she gave him a quick kiss.
"We got this here Rain, go!" Draven yelled.
"Draven I can't just-"
"Go! She needs you now!" he cut her off
"Besides…. This is where Draven shines!" Rain smile and nodded and began to sprint towards where Syndra was held up, along with Esdese who was a few steps behind her.
As they made their way towards the Main Room, Esdese looked outside the nearby window, and smiled lightly.
"Wow, we're landing quite the strike on them…. Almost makes me feel sorry for them" she said jokingly.
"I meant this attack to be the end of them…." Rain said coldly.
"Well either way dead master, it's working we just-" Esdese suddenly jumped as a group of Assassin caught up to them, armed and ready.
"There's the heretics, kill them!"
"You are really starting to get on my nerves…."Rain charged up a lighting force when Esdese raised her arm to stop her.
"Leave this to me my master, go get lady Syndra" She said as she gave a fierce look to the assassins.
"Are you sure?"
Esdese turned around and smiled warmly to her beloved master "Of course my dead master, I'll be there shortly"
Rain looked at her and nodded, she than turned and sprinted further in, leaving her trusted servant alone with the enemy force.
"Kill this bitch and stop that summoner! The master must not be interrupted!" The commander barked.
"Be grateful you dogs." She spat.
"I spared you a painful death by my master" she added as she pulled the blade of her scythe closer to her face.
"Not that I'm any better…." As she pressed her cold lips to the blade it began to make a soft yet terrifying melody.
This music was cold and fierce; the assassins could only cover their ears as they tried to block it away. The room itself began to become colder and darker and the music repeated itself over and over.
"W-w-what the hell, are you…?" one of them asked but could stop his shivering,
"I'm a Dullahan, Esdese; first of my sisters, messenger of death and guider of souls….
"And you are but a mere mortal, who stands no chance….." her eyes gleamed and evil gleam as she opened her mouth and began to sing softly.
"~my dear mother, is not pleased at all~"
"~bored for far too long now, can't have that no more~"
"~maybe your souls will please her, I'll see if it's true~"
The melody stopped and with it…..so did their hearts…..
Rain tensed as she stopped in front of the large doors that lead to the main chamber, the most important fight of her life awaited her behind those doors.
"Death, do not take me this day, grant me strength" she whispered, clenching her fist.
Her eyes narrowed as a breeze wafted by her, carrying the noise of what sounded like a haunted chuckle.
She smiled; she wouldn't be alone in this fight.
With a blast of explosive magic, she tore down the heavy iron doors, and strutted into the room, taking advantage of the smoke to conceal herself.
"What is the meaning of this?!"
The first figure she saw, she gripped by the chest.
"Kion" She hissed.
The elder gripped her wrist in horror as a surging pain enveloped him. Trying to pry her off, he was powerless to resist as she poured her dark energies into him.
"Die. Rot, and die."
He watched as his own fingers rotted to the bone. His legs went numb, his mind went blank, and his vision grew blurry.
The last thing he saw was the grinning face of a dark haired woman behind his attacker, cackling wickedly.
Rain tossed the now-hollowed husk of the elder aside, angered that she had used such a powerful attack on a useless servant.
"Rain!"
Her eyes turned their attention on Syndra; her beloved was trapped in magical coils, the type that prevented any form of energy from being used.
"Hold on, Syndra! I'm coming!"
The Necromancer broke into a sprint, darting down the room. Just as she was about to reach Syndra, however, the Sovereign screamed.
"Behind you!"
Rain ducked, and round house kicked backwards.
Her new assailant let out a chuckle as a vicious knife sunk itself into the wall and Rain formed a stance.
"Alas, to have come so far, and for what? To die in misery and agony. Such a shame, too, you could have been a useful slave" the Masked Queen teased.
"I only serve one master, and she does not give her subjects lightly!"
Without another word, Rain broke into a barrage of attacks. Bolts as red as blood and hot as fire shot forth from her hands, while swift shadows with faces like skulls leapt from her feet.
The assailant was not such easy prey, however. With a flick of her wrist, she batted aside the blood magic, and obliterated the shadows with a clap of her hands.
Rain didn't let up. Summoning all her might, she unleashed a torrent of magic, combining everything she knew into a vicious strike, the power of which shook the foundations of the building.
The masked queen retaliated, shooting dark magical projectiles at her as well. Shadow met shadow; blood magic met lightning magic, concussive spells met concussive daggers, until at last both mages were obscured by a thick cloud of dust.
"Come out and play, little Rain, don't tell me you're tired." Her opponent taunted.
From the darkness, a purple and red beam launched itself at her. She grinned as she dodged it rather fast, and followed it to the source.
Within seconds, she had caught up to a now-panting Rain, her beam failing.
Grabbing her by the warms, the Necromancer cried out in pain as she felt her wrists being crushed.
"Now then, I saw what you did to Kion, that wasn't very nice. I'm afraid I'll just have to return the favor by sucking you dry."
Rain went wide eyed with pain as she felt her magic being drained, while her enemy cackled with laughter. Summoning all her strength, she leaned her head back…
And smashed her head into her opponent's mask.
She fell to her knees as the masked queen stumbled back, letting out a cry of pain. Dark, crimson blood trailed the ground from her face, pieces of the mask falling off.
"You little viper" she hissed.
Rain glared at her, and prepared to attack again, only to gasp when the Masked Queen turned around.
"Zelle?!"
"Surprised?!" Zelle asked manically
"Won't be the first time I had to fake my death!"
"Why? So you could attack the Institute without any interruptions?" Rain asked angrily
To that last comment Zelle went wide-eyed "wow….you pretty much summed it up…."
"I 'killed' myself so I won't be bound to elder council and so I could operate more freely in the next stage of my plan, needless to say I was hoping the Kinkou would have found the body before you but…. Having you and Skarf there gave me the perfect chance to strike the institute hard."
"Why are you doing this?! Why go so far!?" Rain roared
"This country was led by fools long enough! For the noxians to think they can come and conquer us like nothing, than after that we must bend our knee to pathetic group of mages who think they found the way for world peace!?"
"I will not stand and let this insolence continue! I'll take over Syndra, and once I do, I will be a god! And crush all those who tainted Ionia! Elders, summoners, all shall kneel to me! The last member of the Blood moon!" this woman was completely mad.
"Have you looked outside the window recently?" she asked mockingly
"Your operation is destroyed, your men are dead, the Kinkou order is on his way here, you. Lost" Rain stated.
"You will pay for their deaths ten times more!"
"But first I shall be rid of you who is claimed to be one of the strongest, just like I killed that pathetic old man you loved so much…." She mocked and made Rain furious.
Rain didn't waste any more time and prepared for another attack, out of her hands began to materialize crimson long weeps, despite lacking any sort of blades the weeps seem sharper than any kind of Blade Zelle has ever encountered.
"I will say this, you truly are gifted, girl
"But that is not enough to defeat me, I'll have beg for me like the noxian dog that you are!" her opponent scream with livid fury.
"Bring it, you old hag"
As they both clashed Syndra could tell Rain was gain the upper hand rather fast, with each attack that Zelle had tried to land at her, Rain rewarded her with twice more powerful attacks.
"I will make your corpse dance before sending you to my goddess!" Rain taunted.
Zelle backed away yet again only to land between two pale green pillars creating a black wall, As quick as she was she didn't manage to escape unscathed, a glimpse was all that needed to make Zelle's arm become feeble and crack.
Zelle let out a maniacal scream as the pain hit her, feeling her own flesh rotting, the process however, was stopped as Zelle didn't get the full effect of the attack.
"Scream! Let me hear that sweet music!" Rain began to scream manically
"You….. Now I see why Syndra is so fond of you, monsters tend to attract other monsters" Zelle taunted.
"Wow, Rain is winning rather easily…" the thought crossed Syndra's mind as she watched her beloved fight with everything she's got.
However, as powerful as she is, Syndra began to notice Rain beginning to tire rather fast, the usage of both blood magic and death magic is putting her under great tension.
"You are powerful girl, but you lack the years of experience I have
"You're twenty-five years too early, NOW DIE!" Zelle roared as she unleashed a storm of daggers towards Rain, and giving the closed space Rain had little place to maneuver or dodge them all.
Trying her best, she charged towards her attacker jumping above her, she used her last remaining force to inflect two large cuts on Zelle's back with her blood weeps before they dissolved into nothing.
Rain fell on the ground panting hard as her opponent, screamed madly from the pain she now received from Rains last attack. Getting up to a sitting position she trying to regain oxygen back
"This is bad…. At this rate I'll be out before her" She thought as she held her side, that last attack may have wounded Zelle rather severely, but at the cost of a few daggers in her and a large cut on her side was a heavy price to pay.
As she tried to get up, she was kicked back down; Zelle was now above her, her sword Aimed at her neck, her eyes burning with fury, her arm broken from the last attack Rain used on her.
"That was a good fight, one of the best I had in years…. But like I said you are nowhere near me…
"Now I'll have you die, Rain Celeborn" She smiled as she was about to strike Rain, when suddenly, Rain began to laugh….
"You Ninjas…" she coughed
"With all your tricks and stuff, just because you knocked your opponent to the ground, doesn't mean the victory is yours" she raise her head to meet with Zelle's gaze.
"I also have a few tricks left…" she said with a dark tone, making Zelle start to puzzle.
"what are you-"
Without even a warning Rain raised her hands and yelled "Entomb!"
Out of the ground emerged a giant pillar of black ice, trapping the ninja inside it, a dark smile was forming on Rains lips as she heard the last scream of her enemy escapes the frozen grave.
Syndra looked at Rain with complete and total shock; her brain's still trying to figure out what she just witnessed.
"How the hell did you learn to do that?!" she roared.
"Well….. That's a bit complicated…. I'll tell when we get out of here" Rain said blushing.
She then moved to Syndra and began to release her beloved.
"Let's see about getting you-hurk…" A loud stabbing noise was heard; Rain stopped in her place her eyes shot open from the pain she now received, blood gushed out of her mouth.
"RAIN!" Syndra yelled, out for behind Rain came to view a person she thought to be dead.
Zelle struggle to straighten up, her left arm bleeding, her armor broken, her body covered in cold blue bruises, her eyes filled with fury and madness.
"That… was a good trick; I actually thought I'm going to die…..
"YOU HEARD THAT?! I ACTUALLY THOUGHT I'LL DIE!" she roared as she pulled her blade form Rains back.
Rain turned to try and out-power Zelle, but she was quicker to react, and knocked Rain to the ground with a single punch.
Rain tried to get up, her body was weak from all the power she just used, giving enough time for Zelle to get on top of her.
"We'll have no more of that!" she said as she stabbed Rains arm and nailed it to the ground, making Rain yelp at the pain.
"To go this far…. Who would have thought something like Syndra could ever find a master to keep her on a leash" She mocked as she looked at Syndra.
"Zelle I swear, if you so much as touch her again….!"
"You'll go what? Bark at me?" she continued her mocking as she turned her attention to Rain.
"For what you did to me, I'll pay you the same." She said coldly as she lowered herself and placed her arm on Rain's ribs.
"Now…. Scream….." she whispered as she began to put pressure on her ribs, until a few cracks began to sound.
"GAHHHHHH" Rain screamed manically as Zelle began to crush her bones in her arm and her ribs.
"My….so Rain Celeborn does have human weakness…. Let's see how long you'll keep up" she smiled sadistically.
"ZELLE I SWEAR I'LL KILL YOU! LEAVE HER ALONE!" Syndra roared as she tried to break free of her restraints, the sight of her beloved being tortured was more than she could possibly take.
"Oh please try, I'm going to have you watch how I destroy the one thing that ever loved you, after that, when you're completely broken form the inside, I'll do it harder…. Making sure you're mine for the taking" she said as she grabbed Rain by the throat.
Rain looked at her, shaking from the pain she mustered all her remaining strength and spat in Zelle's face, and made her slam her back to the ground.
"I wonder how long you'll keep that tough act…"
"Stop it…..Zelle…." Syndra said with livid fury….
"I wonder…. How many bones will I have to break until she will start screaming your name" Zelle said deviously.
"SHUT UP!" Syndra roared, at that moment an unbelievably amount of magic burst out of her, breaking her chains and runes that kept her restraint, the room itself shook from the power that gathered around the Ionian witch.
"What the hell…" was all Zelle could make out before Syndra launched herself on her and sent her flying to the wall; she than took Rain in her arms and carried her aside.
"Heh…. Heh heh…. So now we come to this… Very well!" She struggled to rise up as she recovered from that hit.
Syndra placed Rain softly of the floor near the wall, as Rain Struggled to open her mouth and speak.
"Syn…dra…. Run… get away, get Skarf and the others….. leave me" She said heavily.
Syndra smiled at her softly "I'm not leaving you, dumbass" she place her hand on Rain's cheek; her heart was beating dangerously slow.
"This time, I'm the hero and you're the damsel"
"Syndra…." Rain tried to speak, but was interrupted by a quick kiss on her lips.
"It's ok" Syndra said as she rose up and turned to face Zelle, her look became serious the moment her Eyes landed on Zelle's.
"I'll finish this quickly." She stated, as the final showdown was about to begin.
