HEY EVERYONE! I'm so sorry that this took forever but to make it up to you, this is the longest chapter I've ever written so maybe you'll be a little less mad at me. I love you all and appreciate you reading my little story, it means a lot to me! So enough distractions, lets get back to Topeka.

-Topeka, Kansas. Big city filled with lights and drama like any other. But something that Topeka was filled with but wasn't known for was its horrific crime rates. Each year ascended the next and the police force wasn't holding the bastards down. But as melodramatic it may seem, there was one beacon of light. One single light that illuminated the streets of each dark and violated alley. His name was the Trickster and this is the story of the Tricksters rise and fall.

Gabriel awoke to ringing in his ear and at first; he tried to ignore it to stay close to the warmth that resided behind him. But the ringing only grew louder and louder until Gabriel opened his eyes and huffed while getting up. He glanced at the clock, which read the numbers 5:20 AM on it. Someone better have a really good reason for being so Goddamn annoying so goddamn early in the morning, he thought bitterly. Gabriel found the source of the ringing and answered it.

"Hello?" He asked while his eyes were hardly opened as they fought against the tempest, sleep.

"Where the hell are you?" The familiar voice of his cousin replied. Well looks like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed today, he thought to himself.

"Um- I'm at a friend's house, catching a few Z's. Why?"

"The city is burning, you ass. Criminals are raiding the streets, three blocks have been burnt down, countless people have-"Gabriel's back straightened automatically and his eyes widened.

"Where?!" he said, scrambling to his feet within seconds.

"Downtown, it's difficult to miss."

"Where are you?!"

"At your family estate, looking for you. Where are you?"

"I'm- out."

"Gabriel, it's four o'clock in the morning who could you possibly be out with?"

"Just a friend."

"Gabriel, you hardly leave the house besides work. Who are you possibly acquainted with?"

"Cassie, I really think that that is the least of our problems at the moment."

"Fine but I won't forget. You need to get your ass over here." Castiel sounded pissed but Gabriel couldn't worry about that at the moment.

"I'll be there in two minutes."

"I'll time it."

"Come on, Cassie."

"You now have one minute and fifty eight seconds to get here." Gabriel sighed and then nodded.

"I'll be there." Gabriel said before shutting his phone and scrambling to grab his shoes. He remained standing as he put them on, struggling to maintain his balance as he tied the shoes on. He then grabbed a sheet of paper and pen before quickly jotting down a quick note that read;

Dear Sam,

It's me, Gabriel. I'm sorry that I had to leave early but there was a last minute disaster over there! I will make it up to you with a complimentary breakfast I swear! I had a great night, I'll call you later!

-From, Gabriel

Gabriel smiled at his note before setting it down on the counter. He then turned back toward the bed, patting down his pockets and his eyes landed on Sam. Sam was sprawled across the bed on his stomach with his right hand and left leg hanging off the bed. His chestnut hair was covering his face but Gabriel could tell that his mouth was held agape. Despite the fact that he looked like a mess, Gabriel found something peaceful in the sight. He felt something warm bubble in his chest as he looked at Sam but he brushed off the warmth by clearing his throat. He then went to the door and within minutes, he was out in the streets. The wind blew against him with such force that it felt as though they were trying to pull him back, to keep him away. He ran down toward the estate, he continued running until he was sure that he lungs were about to burst out of his chest but luckily by then he was at his own front door. He futzed with the door until it opened. The warmth of the house engulfed him but he didn't allow for himself to think of that. His eyes locked on Castiel and he cracked a grin.

"Sorry, I'm late." he said in a joking tone but Castiel didn't seem to appreciate it. He simply frowned and narrowed his eyes.

"This isn't amusing, Gabriel. This is serious. I have already got out your uniform, unfortunately we still don't have the wings."

"We will survive." Gabriel said with a nod before collecting his uniform and heading toward the bathroom before Castiel cut him off.

"Wait- I've got these for you." he then placed a small headset on top of the costume. Gabriel furrowed his brow at them before gingerly picking it up.

"I had some spare time and thought that it would be beneficial so you and I can communicate without threat of being tracked."

"Did you make these yourself, Cassie?" Castiel merely nodded in response.

"I had a flexible schedule today."

"Thank God for that, Cassie. I'll be right out." Gabriel said before going inside the bathroom and changing into his suit. I'm going to need to come up with a better name for it, Gabriel thought to himself as he changed. Everything was the same as the last time minus the mask, headset and a belt filled with useful things like rope, pepper spray and who knows. Gabriel had finally gotten around to creating the coyote mask. It wasn't his best work but it worked. The last thing that Gabriel threw on was the headset that he treated with extreme care. There was a green light on the right hand side of the set as well as a mic that could be pulled down. Gabriel pulled it down and raised a brow.

"Hello?" he asked into the mic.

"Gabriel, it works. You need to go now. Things are getting worse!" Castiels voice responded from the other end of the mic. Gabriel nodded and then rushed out of the bathroom. Gabriel rushed out of the house, hardly paying any mind to Castiel as he went. He was back on the streets, running toward downtown. He could have taken Castiels car but that could easily be tracked back to him. As Gabriel ran, the smell of fire grew more and more potent while the sounds of chaos reigned the night. Gabriel made a sharp left and his eyes widened on the sight.

It resembled something in a disaster movie with the fire that shrouded the streets and everything in its path, the screams, the car alarms, crashing, burning. This ends now, Gabriel thought to himself as he ran forward. He felt like he was going into autopilot as though his body were a machine. His eyes locked on his first target as he advanced he reached into his belt and pulled out the first thing he grasped, in this case it was pepper spray. I'll make it work, somehow, Gabriel reassured himself. His target couldn't have been any older than twenty five with blonde hair and brown but his age didn't justify him as he tried to pound in a television shop window with a crowbar.

"Hey kid!" Gabriel shouted just seconds before sending a side kick across the kids face. The kid fell to the floor with a loud thud, which gave Gabriel the perfect amount of time to spray the kid in the eye with the pepper spray. The boy hissed in pain as his face turned beat red while he clutched his eyes.

"NOT COOL MAN!" the boy hollered but Gabriel just chuckled.

"I'm not a man, I'm a trickster." he said with a smirk before grabbing the rope and tying the kids wrists together before tying his back up against one of the television sets that he was in the process of stealing.

"And that's all folks!" Gabriel said with a chuckle before running off once more.

Gabriel's eyes scanned the area for more threats and with each step, he found more and more of them. Target number two was a girl with dark black hair and green eyes. She probably would have come off as harmless if it weren't for the pistol she had trained on a family of four as they tried to escape the street. Gabriel paused and then looked around for the easiest solution and VIOLA there it was. Gabriel grabbed TV guys crowbar and then ran to the fire hydrant that was directly across from target 2 (AKA Cruela Divile). In a moment of adrenaline, he managed to pry open the fire hydrant that sent a powerful stream of water straight toward Cruela Divile. She screamed a bit as she was sent crashing against the brick wall while the hydrant lost its steam.

"Run!" Gabriel shouted to the family before running toward her once more. The family ran faster gold medalist cross country runners. Gabriel watched as they disappeared from sight before springing back into action. He may have taken a few seconds too long on watching them go because when he turned to Cruel, she was already standing. She looked more than a bit angry as well.

"Wow, is that steam coming from your ears?" Gabriel teased with a chuckle.

"I'm going to murder you!" she shouted before springing forward. She tried to punch Gabriel across the face but he ducked just in time.

"You missed me, you missed me, now you gotta kiss me." he teased with a smirk.

"Kiss you, my ass." she hissed before sending a punch square onto Gabriel's chest. Gabriel gave out a small groan while stumbling back. DeVile tried to take the upper hand but Gabriel took his chance by stomping on her foot and then pushing her back. He pinned her down with one arm before grabbing her pistole and hitting her over the head with it. He made sure that he didn't use too much force but just enough to knock her unconscious. She fell to the floor and Gabriel bent down to tie her hands together, sitting her upright before leaving. He ran down the street faster now until suddenly Castiels voice began to speak from the headset.

"Take the next left, go down a block. There are three of them." Gabriel nodded.

"Okie Dokie, partner." Gabriel said with a smile before taking a left and running down the street until he saw his newest targets. They were a scary bunch for certain, the traditional scary bunch one of them even had a tear tattoo underneath his eye. Gabriel quietly questioned whether or not he was suddenly a comic book character. The goons were trying to light the post office with gasoline containers to their feet. Now Gabriel loved fire as much as the next guy but when you try to ignite a fire to the post office is another thing. Thankfully the goons were too busy showering the post office with gasoline to notice Gabriel as he slide behind the tiniest of the goons. He grabbed one of the empty gasoline tanks and slammed it over the dudes head. Of course since it was already empty, it didn't do much but to be honest, it wasn't supposed to. It did cause the man to stumble a bit before regaining his footing.

"Opps, did I do that?" Gabriel asked with a tone rich with sarcasm before grabbing the man that he had just struck and throwing him against the wall.

"Hey!" One of the other goons called out before dashing toward Gabriel, who merely shrugged before ducking the mans attempts at punching him.

"Nope, oh so close." He said as he ducked two of the mans punches.

"Wow, you guys are really crappy in bad guy standards-" Gabriel said before being cut off by a sharp punch to the noise.

"Son of a- DAMMIT NOT MY PERFECT NOSE." Gabriel growled, scrambling back and clutching his nose. He quickly regained his composure only to find the largest of the trio, barreling at him. Gabriel smirked And waited till the last second before jumping out of the way, causing for the giant to ram full on into the wall. The giant fell to the floor with an obnoxiously loud THUD as he lost consciousness.

"OLE!" Gabriel said with a Spanish accent before throwing his right arm over his head and his left one horizontally underneath that arm. One down, two to go. Gabriel then grabbed the other two, pulling them apart before bringing them back together and causing for them to bud heads. They fell to the ground and Gabriel took the chance to tie them together.

"Thanks for wasting my time, dumb and dumber." Gabriel said with a chuckle before running back off. He was only on the road for five minutes until Castiel called in.

"The police are reporting to the bank and the fire fighters are heading toward the northern apartment area. Crap, shit, I see a huge cluster of criminals by the eastward Paradise Mall. Lilith is there." Gabriel's eyes widened.

"She is? Is anyone with her?"

"At least ten other men and women, who were also on the list I gave you earlier."

"Okay, I'll handle it."

"No, you will not. There are too many and at least four of them are armed. I'm coming to get you and Ill help."

"No way, no, no, no, no, no! You haven't trained for this besides that Kung fu class you took in third grade." Gabriel said as he began running toward the complexes. Gabriel could practically hear Castiel roll his eyes.

"Gabriel I am capable of defending myself."

"Not the way I can, you're staying there and that's final."

"You aren't my boss, Gabriel, nor are you my father. I will not be taking orders from you."

"I'm not giving you a choice on this one!" Gabriel shouted. There was silence on the line until finally Gabriel heard a sigh coming from the other end before replying.

"Fine."

"Good. I'll see you soon." Gabriel then pulled the mic away from his mouth before coming across the Paradise Mall. It seemed quite so Gabriel thought that perhaps Cassie had given him the wrong address but then there was the unforgettable blast of gunshots. Gabriel would be weak at the sound, sobbing like an infant but the Trickster barely flinched in fact he just ran toward the sound with more and more energy. He needed to get there, he felt as though he was running on pure adrenaline. He went to the parking lot, which had four levels, he didn't even have to check the first three levels because the bullets continued to fire, sending crisp and clear sounds through the air. He eventually reached the ramp that leaded up to the fourth level and slowed down so his footsteps were reduced to simple silence. He heard voices shout at one another, barking orders with a vicious tone. God, is that how I sound when I give orders? Gabriel asked himself. Gabriel then heard Castiel's voice yet again talk in his ear.

"Don't move." He said simply. "They have all assembled themselves toward the edge of lot, they're sending orders to those on ground from here so they can make sure that they are doing as told. You need to execute this precisely and patiently. The camera is picking up that they are all wearing headphones of some kind, if one of them messages in a report of you attacking then you'll be under all ten fire, not including those who come in to assist them as well. First, I suggest that you handle the large man with the Scar H in his hands. You can't see him at the moment but he is to your left, behind the rest of the group." The Trickster dared to look past the barrier and lock his eyes on his target. He returned to shelter and then nodded into the mic.

"Understood. Give me two seconds." The trickster then crept his way around the ramp wall, got his piece of rope out as crouched slightly while approaching the man. Gabriel managed to get directly behind him without a glitch so Gabriel wrapped the ends of the rope around his wrists before reaching up and forcing the rope in the mans mouth, efficiently gagging him. The man struggled, trying to aim the gun at the Trickster but every angle that the man tried to use would end up getting him in critical condition instead of The Trickster. The trickster pulled the man back to behind the ramp wall, placing one end of the rope in his mouth before using one hand to grip the mans neck, applying pressure on the specific pulse point. Once the right amount of pressure was applied, the man slowly fell out of consciousness. The trickster knelt down and then tied the mans wrist together after taking his scar H. The man began to groan as he slowly awoke so The Trickster bumped his head with the end of the Scar H, knowing that that should keep him out for at least a few hours.

"Perfect, next should be the short blonde hair women with a standard glock. She's standing at ten o'clock with her back to you."

"How do you even know all of this?"

"I hacked into the security cameras, I suggest that you keep the Scar H with you. You might need it." The trickster disappeared for a few seconds, leaving only Gabriel who rapidly shook his head.

"No, I'm not killing anyone."

"I wasn't suggesting that but perhaps injury would be necessary." The trickster nodded.

"I got it. Give me a second." He said before placing the mic up over his head. He glanced over at the scene before him though it hasn't changed much since he had last taken a look. The Trickster locked his eyes on his target, who was cute if he dared to say so himself with short blonde hair and big brown eyes but it was obvious that she wasn't harmless, her face was stoic and the gun in her hands didn't help either. The trickster snuck behind her with the ends of the rope wrapped around his wrists yet again, he managed to gag her just like before but this one was clever. She caused a scene, she slammed her feet against the ground and failed her arms before firing her gun straight in the air. The other nine criminals heads snapped toward the vigilante and they all aimed their guns at him.

"Flubber nuggets." He whispered to himself before releasing one end of the rope, kicking the blonde forward and then kneeling down for the scar H. He grabbed it just as the bullets began to blast toward him, he ducked his head and rolled out of the way before finding over behind a pillar. He rose to his feet and dared to look past his area of cover to receive a bullet dashing past his head, a mere two centimeters away from him. He ducked back under cover and pulled down the mic.

"I'm going to need some help here." He growled into the mic.

"There's an emergency exit behind you, you can escape through there."

"No, I'm not leaving. These guys obviously call the shots here, if I take them down then I can take everything down."

"It's not worth your life, Gabriel."

"Let me just-" Gabriel explained before being cut off by a rope being wrapped around his neck. He gasped as he struggled, pulling against the rope. Whoever had the hold of it was strong but Gabriel could match their strength. He managed to claw the rope off of his neck, at least enough to help him breath before he eventually managed to slip underneath the rope. He then went behind the pillar and sent an uppercut to the mans jaw. The man stumbled a bit but was still relatively unharmed. The man all but grasped Gabriel and turned him so that Gabriel's back was facing the crowd of criminals. Well I'm fucked, he thought to himself. The trickster struggled against the mans hold but the man was like a brick wall.

"Turn him to face me, Smith." A woman's voice demanded and the human brick wall smirked and did just that. The woman was no other than Lilith, the one who had a mysterious relationship with his older brother, Lucifer. Gabriel hardly knew the woman but after reading her files, Gabriel decided that he hated her. Gabriel struggled more against the man as Lilith came in closer.

"So this is the pesky vigilante I've heard about, I thought that you would be taller."

"I thought that you had black eyes, after all aren't you a demon?" Lilth's blue eyes hardened on him before she slapped him across the face. The Trickster merely chuckled.

"You smack like a Girl Scout." He joked. She growled.

"What are you? A mutant?"

"No, I'm just your average every day Trickster." He gave her a prideful smile.

"We'll its a good thing that another will replace you after I shoot your brains out."

"Take me to dinner first at least!" The trickster said with a laugh. Gabriel then took the opportunity to grab the human brick walls finger and bend it back until there was a sickening crack. Smithy jumped in pain, releasing the Trickster as a result. The trickster jumped down and then grabbed Smithy's hands, bending them behind his back.

"Now you're going to stop this attack or else I'll kill him." The trickster glared to the the vile blonde villain. She merely laughed before raising her pistol model 27 and sending a bullet flying with a blast. The Trickster ducked and then laughed.

"Wow, you've got crappy aim." Lilth simply smirked before replying.

"You weren't my target, Trickster." Smithy's body then began to fall limb in the tricksters arms as the blood began to flow from the bullet wound. He made a wheezing sound as he clutched onto it before falling forward onto the ground and going still. The tricksters gaze turned from frightened to fatal as he glared at Lilth, who hardly blinked before gesturing to the rest of her goons to raise their guns. Castiel's voice then whispered in his ear once again.

"Get on the railing and jump when I tell you!" Gabriel was going to ask but Lilth made it very clear that she wouldn't give him a chance.

"You just killed a man!" He shouted at her, glaring.

"To be fair, I was going to kill him eventually. He always cracked the most awful puns." She chuckled and her goons chuckled as well.

"You're a monster."

"The most beautiful things in the world always are." She smirked. "Now enough of that pitiful hero complex, say your last words." She then gestured her hands over her head, ready to give out the signal to the rest of her goons.

"JUMP NOW!" Castiel's shouted through the headphones. Gabriel then hopped onto of the edge and then saluted Lilth before letting himself fall back.

"PEACE OUT BITCHES!" He shouted as he fell, trying not to panic. Cas did this for a reason, you're not gonna die, you're not gonna die, IM GOING TO DIE!; Gabriel thought to himself as he fell closer and closer toward the floor. He shut his eyes, bracing himself for his death when suddenly something attached itself to his back and instead of Gabriel falling down, he found himself flying up. Gabriel looked back and sighed in relief at the sight of the two golden wings on his back. Cassie had managed to get them after all. Speaking of cas, his voice then called over the mic.

"Now did you really believe that I would let you fall?" Gabriel could all but hear his smirk over the mic.

"A warning next time would have been great!"

"Now you understand how it feels to have your cousin spontaneously spring information on you." Castiel replied and Gabriel chuckled before asking.

"So how does this baby work?"

"There's a control pad on the side, very much like a video game controller."

"You know me so well."

"Perhaps too well. You better hurry, they're getting away." The trickster nodded and then used the control pad to fly up to the fourth floor. He gave everyone a fright as he burst through sending punches and kicks to the last eight villains. He didn't go in a specific order instead he merely just took targets as they came. The fists came and went, people fell to the floor in pain with Castiel advising Gabriel every so often. Eventually in what seemed like seconds, the goons were laying on the floor bruised and unconscious but one was missing, Lilth. The trickster tied the criminals up with haste, making sure to keep their weapons off of them.

"She's heading toward uptown now, you better hurry." Castiel stated.

"What about the evidence?"

"I will handle that, go." Gabriel furrowed his brow and then ran toward the edge again, jumping off and using his wings to help him fly toward where Lilth would run. He flew until he saw her and he landed in front of her. Her eyes widened and she raised her gun. She fired it but Gabriel turned so it hit the wings, which were made of a specific metal that was practically indestructible. He then turned back and sent a sharp punch to her face. She merely laughed before hitting him in the side with the butt of her gun. He managed to throw her back while hissing in pain.

"Don't you care about what a mess you've made?" He growled.

"It's not my mess. I just help." The Trickster furrowed his brow.

"What do you mean?"

"I won't tell." The trickster then growled and sprang forward, catching her arm and twisting it back. She groaned a bit, struggling.

"I'll break your arm if you don't tell me." Lilth merely smirked before whispering.

"Take me to dinner first at least. Lets have some fun." She laughed before sending her other elbow into the tricksters side and escaping his hold. She turned to face him once more, sending a punch to his face before using the butt of her gun to hit the back of Gabriel's head. She then gripped his hair and began to throw his head against the wall until Gabriel caught her hands and tossed her back until she fell against the wall on the other side of the alley.

"Now that's now way to handle a women." She said with a smirk before walking toward him. He adjusted himself, ignoring the blood that trickled down his chin and chuckled.

"I thought that you were just a dude who LOOKED like a lady." He said with a laugh. Her stare turned deadly as she sprang forward. Gabriel ducked her punch and managed to trip her. He then grabbed her by the back of her coat.

"Who's running this attack for Christ's sake?" He shouted to her. She turned back to face him but this time with knife in her hand instead of a gun. She tried to plunge it into his chest but he mangled to deflect it but he unfortunately sliced the side of his left forearm as he did so. Lilth went to spring forward once more as Gabriel clutched his now bleeding forearm but then the sound of police alarms went off. She looked toward their general direction and laughed.

"It was fun while it lasted, hero. But I suggest that we don't let this happen again, you might get hurt." She smirked before kicking him hard enough to send him to the ground. Gabriel's world was spinning around rapidly as he gasped for his breath as he heard Lilth's heels get farther and farther away. Gabriel made a pained noise as he tried to gather the power to follow after her. He had none. Her footsteps were long gone by the time he maned to get up. He used the wings to fly out of town while trying to hold onto his vision as the world darkened around him.

"Just a little longer, you're going to be fine." A few seconds passed and then Castiel talked once more. "you can land right here." He said softly and Gabriel landed in the alley. He leaned against the alley wall, holding onto his bleeding hand until he heard footsteps running toward him. It was Castiel, he always came like a guardian angel. Castiel took his hand and began cleaning the wound. Gabriel hissed and then shook his head.

"No, no, no, don't want it."

"You don't get a choice here, Gabriel. You're not dying."

"She got away."

"We will get her another day." Castiel said as he thread his needle before beginning to stitch up his wound.

"Thank God that it isn't too deep." Castiel said as he continued to stitch it up.

"I'm tired." Gabriel said much like a child.

"You can sleep when we get home."

"When will that be?"

"Soon, Gabriel."

"Okay." Gabriel said before nodding and leaning his back against the wall. Castiel eventually stitched the rest of the wound up, Gabriel changed into a pair of sweats after placing the wings in a duffle before they walked three blocks south to the estate, making it seem as though they were just going for an early morning stroll.

The first reporters were very confused when they came by the nine criminals that were tied up in the parking lot, one dead, one tied individually and seven tied together. They were also surprised to see that the crime scene was soaked though it hadn't been raining.

"Rogers, have you ever seen anything like this?" The rookie, Abrams, asked. Rogers merely chuckled.

"Of course, I have! I do all the time. This is how some people get away with murder, water kills trace evidence."

"But how did he even get it in here?" He asked and Rogers simply pointed up toward the sprinklers that were installed in the ceiling.

"So that's how he did it!" Abrams mused with a grin. Rogers simply rolled his eyes before he heard his name being called.

"Rogers, check this out." His buddy, Richardson, said so Rogers followed and in front of the seven tied up victims. There was a note, written into the concrete with what resembled a knife. It read, "To the police, from the Trickster XOXO". Lets just say that the police didn't appreciate the gossip girl reference as much as Gabriel did.
