The contest went on without and the talent was pretty amazing and many seemed very well trained but none had caught Kairi, Utau, or Ikuto's interests or met their standards. "None of the contests are what Easter is looking for." Kairi said disappointedly. "Well this last girl will be closer than the others" Ikuto said. "I hope so or else coming here would have been a waste of our time." Utau bit out.

"Oh are you talking about Gin." Amu said which grabbed their attention. "Gin" Ikuto repeated confused. "Yeah, she's one of the new guardians and she's Kin-chi's twin sister." Yaya explained excitedly. "New guardians, really?" Kukai asked looking at Kin in shock, though the boy continued to watch the stage.

"Kin-san…?" Nagihiko called catching the boy's attention. "Huh, is something wrong Nagi-kun?" Kin asked softly. "Are you Kin, by any chance?" Kairi asked adjusting his glasses, again. "Yes and you must be one of the former Jacks…Kairi correct." He nodded "It's a pleasure to meet you Kin-san." And he stuck his hand out, Kin returned the gesture "Likewise."

"Well if you find that my sister should join Easter, don't expect an answer immediately." Kin informed them then turned back to the stage to see his sister be introduced as the final contestant. "It looks like Gin-san is about to go on" Tadase stated happily. "Gin-sempai!" Naomi squealed as her idol walked on stage. Not long after the music began-

Kin's eyes widened in recognition, and his mouth opened in surprise. "Kin-san are you okay?" Naomi asked when she noticed his stiff posture. "I'm okay it's just that," he smiled slightly "it's been a long time since she's sang that song." Nagihiko looked at him, as did the others minus Naomi. "The last time it was sung was when we were five and it was a good-bye song from us to your family Nagi."

"Well wasn't that song beautiful?" the announcer asked and the crowd cheered. "Now let's have all our contestants come out and let the judges decide!" with that the host left to confirm with the other judges.

"So the last girl was your sister?" Utau asked, and Kin nodded. "She's very pretty and has an incredible voice for someone her age." "Are implying what I think you are Utau?" Ikuto smirked. "We all might be having the same thoughts then." Kairi mumbled loudly while adjusting his glasses again.

"Wait, are you guys going to ask Gin to join Easter?" Amu exclaimed. "Why not, she is everything that Easter is looking for in an idol." Ikuto explained bored, then yawned. "If you wish to meet her then I will call her so you can" Kin said and began to walk further to the stage. "Although I doubt she'll actually agree right away." "And why wouldn't she?" Utau nearly screeched but he was too far away.

"You know now that I think about even though her voice and the song held lots of feelings but her face didn't seem to hold some of those emotions." Ikuto deduced from observing her performance. "What do by that?" Rima asked even though she was an actress herself she knew nothing of music or singing. "I understand what he means." Nagihiko spoke; his eyes had a sad faraway look in them.

"You're talking about her expressions, she doesn't show many but there were two that were clearly shown in her eyes and that was sadness and pain." He explained and all he could think of was if it hurt her to share such a personal song with so many people.

"But she could turn around right?" Utau asked somewhat concerned "After all this could be her big break. Why wouldn't she say yes?" "Because she doesn't want to get famous by singing." A new and melodious voice sounded.

"Oba-san, Oka-san, what are you doing here?" Nagihiko asked, he was surprised his mother and aunt rarely leave the house for events like these. Then he noticed Kin and Gin's aunt and uncle Kaede and Makoto Hoseki, the owners of the Flower Letter hotel. "I'm glad I got to hear her sing that again it's been years since we've heard her sing." Makoto said happily as his wife sobbed silently in happiness.

"As for why we are here, your principal called and said that a certain guardian would be participating and I just couldn't miss out on that." Nagi's mother said happily.

"It looks like they're about to announce the winner" Rima said. And the now larger group along with the audience silenced themselves to wait for the winner's name. They were all hoping for Gin but this all depends on who the judges believe deserves to win.

"Okay and our winner is…" the host began "Hitomi Sazuki who sung My Boy!" The audience cheered for her and Gin made no move to look disheartened or upset. Her friends however were quite the opposite.

"H-how did she lose?" Amu stuttered. "Yaya-chi thinks this isn't fair!" Yaya cried. Rima nodded her head but she looked angrier than the others. "But this doesn't seem right to me." Nagi's aunt said in gloomy tone. His mother agreed as well, but Nagihiko just stayed quiet while everyone voiced their disdain about the results.

"I'm not upset" Kaede said softly making all heads turn to her. "She's started singing again even though she might not continue I'm just glad she has again. It's all we've ever wanted for her, she took her parents death harder than Kin, but this proves that she is recovering."

"I was told someone wanted to see me" Gin said as she walked towards the group. "Yes we wanted ask you a question that could change your future." Kairi said professionally. Gin nodded waiting for the question. "Would you like to join Easter as a new idol?" the question caught her off guard. The uncomfortable pause lasted for nearly a minute until her eyes close and she began shaking.

"Gin?" her brother asked panicking as she began crying. "I never thought anyone would ask me that." She said in between sobs. "But yes I'd love to join Easter." She answered with a smile.
