"You're late," Rachel said.

Santana just rolled her eyes. "Whatever," she said. It wasn't anything out of the ordinary, but Santana's eyes told another story. Rachel could tell she was hiding something from her.

"We've got two songs to write Santana," Rachel said.

"Something tells me you've written three already," Santana said.

"That's not relevant," Rachel said.

"Well let me hear something," Santana said. "It's got to be better than My Headband."

"Your wife loves My Headband," Rachel countered.

"Yeah, but I'm not my wife," Santana said.

Rachel wondered if this was a good idea. Rachel and Santana had always seemed to clash.

"Fine," Rachel relented. At least Santana's suggestion was kind of productive.

Rachel sits down at the keyboard and starts to play a melody.

"Call me crazy, if you want to
I've been waiting all this time for you
Remember when we used to find ourselves
Never wanting to come out of our shells"

Santana hadn't told Rachel to shut up yet, so Rachel assumed it was good so far.

"You know I never, thought this day would come
I thought you'd always be forever gone
And now I find you smiling back at me
And I'm praying that it's not a dream"

When I'd talk about you, you were somebody that I used to know
It hurt to say that, but I'd try to never let it show
Come back to me
Come back you'll see
Just how much you mean to me
Come back (you should)
Come back (for good)
And I promise I won't let you go
I never want you to be somebody that I used to know"

Santana held up her hand and Rachel stopped singing. Rachel couldn't help but wonder if it was any good. She'd only thrown this together in like twenty minutes the other night, but she had been inspired after discovering that she would be singing duets with Santana.

"It's for Q, right?" Santana asked.

Rachel nodded. Common ground.

"I hate to say this," Santana said, "But it's perfect."

Santana grimaced at Rachel's mega-watt smile.

What do you think? Please review.

I know it's short, it's mostly filler.

The song is Somebody That I Used To Know, written by me.
