Hey, hey, hey! Two finals are done with two more left, and now I'm taking a break this weekend! This short was suppose to be posted months ago, but this idea has been put on the back burner, still stewing and nothing coming to mind to get this finished. So this is a preview of what I had in mind when I heard the song Because I'm happy!

Pretty please give me your thoughts, and I will try to type faster...

*The setting is just before the incident with Elsa and Anna, and in this short, I'm twisting up Daniel's story. Read and find out what...

Elsa POV

With a kick in her step, Elsa bounced up the giant staircase and happily skipped into her room, flopping ungracefully on to her bed. The blonde princess had just finished her ballroom dancing lessons along with her usual studies, reading, writing and history. Honestly, why the eight year old princess had to learn ballroom dancing now she would never understand. "At least mom and dad are letting me learn ballet." Elsa smiled, remembering her last ballet lesson. The blond princess had passed through the basic moves and had quickly moved into intermediate level within the first year of trying ballet. Elsa loved dancing in her ballet shoes, the feel of the wind dancing with you as she hop and twirl across the dance floor. It sure beat ballroom dancing. Elsa giggled, remembering having to practiced on her instructor's big feet. He wince and cried when she pressed too hard. Anna had fun dancing on Dad's feet too. The eldest princess was done for the day until dinnertime, so what was the princess to do?

A knock came from her door before it opened up to the strawberry headed princess who peeked inside.

"Elsa, you up?" Anna whispered spotting her older sister and jumping onto her bed. The eight year old sighed, no use in a nap now.

"I am now Anna, what are you doing in my room? Did you run off from your lesson again?" Elsa sat up to sit across from her sister who giggled into her hands. She shook her head, her braided pigtails swinging with her.

"No, but I had a surprise for you. Come on! It's outside!" Anna grabbed Elsa hands and pulled her towards the door. The poor blonde was confused.

"Outside? What surprise could you have that's outside?" Elsa slowly slid off her bed but didn't move closer to her bedroom door. Anna struggled, but Elsa wasn't budging. Anna sighed loudly.

"It's a surprise! I can't tell you unless you go *grrr* open the door and see for yourself!" Anna went behind her sister and pushed her closer, but Elsa gave her younger sister a hard time restraining slowly from her pushes. Sighing loudly, and making Elsa giggle, Anna stopped her and crossed her arms. "Okay, then he's gonna leave and not come back." Anna sighed even louder sounding so disappointed that Elsa wasn't going outside her room. Elsa jerked up and looked over her shoulder.

"He?"

Just then, the door clicked opened, and a cold breeze floated past the Arendelle girls, blowing snowflakes into their faces. Just the sharp cold jolted Elsa from her guarded pose to a joyful smile. Immediately, she ripped open the door and ran into the body waiting outside giggling with joy all the way out.

A booming laugh echoed down the hallway joining Elsa in her merriment.

"It's so good see you Frostbite! I thought you would be coming in next week?" Elsa questioned the giant of a man, standing easily seven feet tall. The gruff man was well built man who was almost into his sixties. He wore a well pressed suit decorated with a few metals of honor, but still held on to his blue kilt stationed right on top of his uniform pants being held up with an impressive golden belt. A gold ring rested just above his right chest pocket holding onto a blue cape that draped over his shoulders and stopped mid back. While his right arm, that held the small princess to his chest had only a golden arm ring just below his armpit, his left arm was encased in shining silver armor all the way up to his shoulder engraved with sharp swirl designs.

"Is it bad that I wanted to surprise you earlier than planned?" Frostbite chuckled, squeezing the little blond princess gently and soon was tackled by the youngest one to his leg. Quickly the elder man scooped up the youngest one, earning a squeal in surprise, and hugged the girls all three now laughing. Once laughter died down, Frostbite got a good look at his young student. Elsa's cheeks were a little red but she was all smiles and radiating excitement on what fun they were to do today.

"So Frostbite, what plans do you have for us today?" Anna asked, bouncing on his arm with endless energy she was ready to run off. Elsa just smiled brightly, knowing that whatever Frostbite had planned was bound to be fun! The tall man in question hummed loudly, looking deeply in thought.

"Well I have to see your father about a few things with my document, then there is a lesson I had to teach today as well, hmm-oh I have to go into the town today to pick up a few things, but sadly there is one problem." Frostbite looked sadly, easily making the girls in his arms concerned.

"What? What is it?" Anna voiced for the both of them.

"I need escorts to walk with me pick up a few required items and don't know who to ask..." Frostbite sounded sad, but a small smile slowly created up onto his face when the princesses suddenly squealed in delight.

"We can go into the village with you?!" Anna asked in disbelief, almost shouting with joy. Elsa's eyes gleamed with surprise, thinking the impossible, but after Frostbite's nod, both girls hugged the big man's throat, Anna's grip a little tighter than necessary but the old soldier wasn't complaining.

"Now remember girls, stay with me at all times, understand?" Frostbite gently reminded the two princesses, both still soaking in what the outside world held before them. Still dressed in their everyday gowns but now wearing thin cotton cloaks, Elsa's plum purple and Anna pretty pink, to hide a good amount of their faces and their good royal clothes. Elsa held onto Anna's hand as the wide-eyed pig-tailed girl took in as much as she could of the village outside the grand walls of the palace. The beautiful and clear skies greeted the royal siblings as they walked down the cobblestone streets that bustled with people carried on with their daily lives; from small stores selling their goods to children playing and weaving through the busy streets enjoying the summer weather. Frostbite had the girls walking in front of his feet to keep an eye on them and to make sure Anna didn't run off with her excited nature that could happen at any given moment.

Reaching the destination, Frostbite directed the girls inside a small house that rang a small bell from up top the corner of the doorway to announced their arrival.

"Hello Mr. Frostbite! Right on time! Please come in, I'm so happy to finally meet you!" The voice belong to a medium height woman with short auburn hair, wearing a form fitting turquoise dress that ended just above her shoes. The curvy lady walked into the parlor from another door to the right that must have been the kitchen because delicious aromas wafted out of the swinging door. Following behind her a smaller version of the woman but with longer and brighter auburn hair pulled back with a blue band. Her dark gray and blue sun dress ended just at her calves and her feet were slipped inside light blue slippers. Her face was buried inside a book but bumped into the taller lady not paying attention.

"Mom! What are- oh! Guests!" the young teen finally looked at the huge man standing in front of them. Her eyes grew at the height of this man in her home. "And I thought dad was tall."

"Jasmine, now be a dear and go get your little brother from his room please, and your father too! I know he's downstairs working away on another project." The short haired woman commanded the younger looking girl now named Jasmine. Clearly her throat, the older woman smiled at her quiet guests. "Please have a seat here. Jasmine will have everyone else up in just a moment." she showed them to the living room off to the left and ushered them to the couches. Once Frostbite was settled, he held Anna in his lap as Elsa sat tall and proper next to the older man. "Would you like a snack? I just finished making some blueberry muffins-"

"Mom! Remember the last time you made blueberry muffins? We had to give dad and Danny the special oil to flush it out. I don't our guest want to experience such a fate." a voice shouted from the back of the house, footsteps coming closer. Jasmine arrived back with a frown on her face, but was not alone. Standing next to her side was a small boy with black locks that defied gravity and wide baby blue eyes. His white shirt was covered by a simple brown cotton coat and black pants. He blinked at the new people on the couch with his big eyes not making a sound. Anna, being the friendly one, waved at the boy with a smile and the boy in turned slowly responded with a small wave.

"Hang on Maddie! I think I just got this contraption to start working!" a booming voice echoed from downstairs. Soon thundering steps grew louder as they climbed up and appeared a big man popping out of the swinging kitchen door with a what looked like a rifle. The woman now named Maddie rose up from her spot of the couch and ripped the unknown object from his hands.

"Jack, have you forgotten our meeting with Mr. Frostbite today?" Maddie mildly scolded the grown man, hands resting on her wide hips. Jack looked at the new faces in thought before recognition registered into his mind.

"Oh! Maddie, of course I remembered it was today! You know how absorbed I get with my work." Jack straightened out his jacket and approached the giant still seated. "Mr. Frostbite, a pleasure to finally meet you face to face." a hand was reached out for Frostbite who smiled at the man's cheery mood.

"Likewise. If I may, could Anna go into another room please?" both princesses looked at the giant in question. Maddie smiled at the girls.

"Of course! Jasmine dear, if you could entertain Miss Anna until the meeting is over? It won't take long dear." Maddie reassured Anna before she was lead away from the grown ups. Elsa watched her sister disappear from her sight and looked at the other remaining people in the living room. "Danny come sit next to me dear. I want you meet someone." the boy followed orders without any complaints. Jack took his seat next to his wife and Danny stayed tight lipped, but now his attention was on Elsa.

Elsa wasn't use to kids, she wasn't around other kids in general, other than her sister so it was weird to be stared at. Danny titled his head at the blonde girl before showing a small smile. Surprised that he showed any emotion at all, Elsa couldn't help but give one back herself.

"Now Mr. Frostbite, you have mentioned to us that you could help Danny with his, condition." Maddie mentioned carefully, not seeing her son flinch at the chosen word. His face scrunched with hurt. Elsa became sad herself, seeing the quiet boy so withdrawn. Frostbite hummed before turning to Danny.

"If I may, I want to see what he can do before I make any decisions." Frostbite slid off the couch but stay crouched low, eyes almost leveled to Danny still seated. "Now Danny, if you could try to create something small for me? It's okay, you won't hurt anyone." Frostbite's voice was gentle when speaking to Danny, who looked close to jumping away from the big stranger. Danny's blue eyes darted away to look at Elsa. He looked so scared, but Elsa gave him another smile hoping that encourage him to give it a try.

Seconds felt like minutes, and seeing as Danny was going to stay clamped shut, Frostbite sat on the floor in front of him and lifted his armor encased hand up to Danny's face. Seconds later, a mini frosty tornado appeared, dancing around his wide open palm with mini snowflakes twirling along in the wind. Danny jumped a little, but soon was elated to see the trick and his smile grew big. Feeling encouraged, Danny finally raised his hands and grunted, trying to concentrate on his opened palms. Suddenly, Danny's hands glowed blue, and then his whole body started to glow blue. Maddie and Jack stared awe-struck at their son as he tried to perform a small miracle. Elsa gasped, seeing this new boy glowing blue, and the light was glowing brighter. Frostbite decided to come forth and gently place his hands on Danny's trembling ones.

"Now Danny, I want you to take a deep breath and let it out slowly." Frostbite instructed softly, keeping his eyes on the small boy and his glowing hands. Danny did just that, and the glow suddenly disappeared but stayed around his hands which finally created a small snowball. Elsa gasped at the feat this boy in front of her just perform. Her blue eyes grew with excitement.

"Danny, he has ice powers like me!" Elsa looked at Danny's face, who looked tired from hard concentration, and beamed a bright smile when his own blue eyes met hers.

"Good job Danny. That's just what I wanted to see." Frostbite smiled with warmth. Before he could utter another word, Elsa climbed her way into Frostbite's lap and sat in front of Danny who kept his eyes trained on only her. Raising her hands, she formed a snowflake then made it grow bigger just as Danny's eyes grew as well. A giant hand touched Elsa's shoulder but Elsa didn't flinch from concentration, in fact, she felt encouraged to show her teacher how well she was progressing. Making the snowflake dance around in her opened palm she created extra smaller snowflakes that twirled along in their own dance. Danny's face lit up like a bonfire, watching the little show in Elsa's hands. This was the first time Danny had every smiled that big.

"Great fluffy biscuits! This little lady here has these freaking powers too?!" Jack jumped up from his seat, eyeing Elsa with wonder. Elsa haltered with her little show, feeling a hurtful jab from the father. Seeing the blonde suddenly sad, Danny frowned up at his pop.

"It's called ice powers dad, and they're not freaky either!" Elsa looked at the new voice that came from Danny. His blue eyes softened back to baby blues when he turned his attention back to Elsa giving her a sweet smile. "It's beautiful..." Danny had a soft flush of pink after his declaration, even Elsa felt her cheeks warm up, but she smiled back. Frostbite smiled at the both of the children.

"Children, if you don't mind, I would like to speak with Mr. and Mrs. Fenton for just a moment." Frostbite announced, the parents now rising from their seats. Danny nodded his head and hopped of the couch smiling at Elsa.

"Want to play outside?" Elsa smiled eagerly, jumping out of Frostbite's lap and following Danny to the front door.

"Danny! Wait for your sister to join you two on out!" Maddie called out to the running kids, but the words went passed deaf ears as both children were too excited to get outside. Cloak secured around her head, Elsa was pulled outside into the warm sun and cloudless sky. Frostbite smiled from the door, watching them run out. This was the first time in forever (lol) since Elsa had smiled so big and looked so happy. It wasn't everyday that she met someone who had ice powers like herself, especially someone her age. When Jasmine walked passed with Anna in hand, Frostbite stopped her by her shoulder.

"If you would be so kind to watch the kids for a while? I need to talk to your parents about your brother." Frostbite spoke gently to the preteen. Jasmine nodded with a smile and walked out with Anna, who was waving back at Frostbite. "Have fun girls!" Frostbite called out before closing the door and facing the parents. "Jasmine will watch over them, but now I need to talk to you two about Daniel."

Elsa was pulled farther away from the Fenton house and farther down weaving through the small neighborhood a street away. Just like Danny, the kids style of clothes were muted and dull, but simple. Elsa didn't see Frostbite anyway nor her sister, and the ice princess began to panic.

"Danny! Danny wait!" Elsa tugged back against Danny's pull, halting the running boy to look back at Elsa's face.

"What's the matter?" Danny asked, seeing his new friend look scared.

"Where are we going?" Danny smiled, pointing forward.

"To my friend Tucker's house. Maybe Sam's there as well. You got to meet them!" Danny almost began to run again until Elsa shook her head.

"Danny, you're not going to tell them about my powers are you?" Elsa felt like taking flight, and running back into Frostbite's arms. She wasn't ready to face the world just yet, nor the rejection she knew would come with it. Danny shook his head and walked up to Elsa. He graced her with a small smile.

"It's okay Elsa. My friends Tucker and Sam know about my powers and I know they won't tease you about okay? I promise." he gave the blonde girl a small squeeze to her dainty fingers. Seeing how genuine and kind Danny was being, she nodded her head and squeezed back. Danny smiled bigger and continued down his path until he reached a bigger cottage close to the harbor. A small boy with big glasses was playing outside the house, but stopped when he heard footsteps coming closer. The African American boy wore a red cotton cap with the lid behind his head, a yellow jacket with grey pants and brown boots. He put his toy aside and smiled at Danny.

"Hey Danny! You're early today than usua- whoa, dude who the blonde behind you?" the boy eyed the new face up and down with surprise. Elsa hid behind Danny's back, a small feeling of fear creeping up her chest. Danny smiled back at Elsa's shyness before speaking.

"Whatzup Tucker? This is my new friend Elsa. Elsa, this is Tucker, one of my best friends. " Danny pointed to the red cap boy who adjusted his big glasses with a big smile.

"Let's not forget about me!" a new squeaky voice called out to the small group now making her appearance. The voice showed up wearing a simple blouse and skirt combination completed with short boots, but what shocked Elsa was that the attire was all black!

"Wouldn't she not burn up from the hot sun with that much dark colors?"
