Marik hummed to himself as he walked leisurely on the alleyway of the town, he stopped when he arrived in a big house and jumped to the second floor's balcony. Inside, he saw a boy with dark green hair and a pair of grey eyes scribbling something on a scroll, he smirked and knocked on the door. The boy jumped and looked at him before he sighed, "You always like to scare me to death, don't you, Marik." The 15 years old boy said as he stood from his chair, "The usual?".
Marik grinned, "That's right, Noah." He answered as he leaned on the door to the balcony, "We received a news that there would be two Magic Users arrived soon, we planned to buy them tonight".
Instead of buying the slaves at day time, they had changed it into night time since they nearly come across with High Priest Seth a few times already. It's safer to buy them at night, Pegasus had agreed to keep the Magic User slaves for them anyway.
"Hm, you will need to have at least 10 gold coins for each then." Noah hummed as he pulled out a bag of coins and gave it to Marik, "There's about 30 gold coins inside, keep the rest to buy them clothes or anything, do as you like with it".
Marik grinned, "Thanks." He said as he accepted the bag, "Seth and Atem haven't found out about this, right?".
Noah shook his head, "No, I act and think like I don't know what happened, even Akhunadin's Millennium Eye wouldn't be able to know since I never think about it around him." He answered with a confident smirk, "They were pretty confused that Sakuya and Ishtar suddenly showed up in the Palace, but since the twins are a pretty strong Magicians, they just accept them as long as the twins wouldn't do anything suspicious".
Marik nodded, "Alpha had heard as much." He answered with a smirk of his own, "Thanks again for the money".
Noah laughed, "It's nothing." He answered, "Seth and Atem probably thinks that I used the money to buy some jewelry again, they know that I love food and jewelry so much." He the turn serious, "Any news on Libyan?".
Marik sighed, "I heard that they are building their Army, the recuits increased since last year." He said in annoyance, "If this going on, it might be as Alpha said and they would attack Egypt since Egypt is closer to Libya than other Countries".
Noah sighed as well, "Atem and Seth wouldn't even believe me if I told them this, they are focusing on searching for who had destroyed Japan." He said with a shake of his head.
"Japan?" Marik asked in confusion.
Noah nodded, "This Morning Seth invited me into Breakfast together, it's turn out that Atem had something to announce. There's a few survivors of Japan hiding in the Palace, the Prince and his friends if I remember it well. Because Atem was engaged to Japanese Prince by peace agreement, he want to search for whoever destroyed Japan, in secret though." He explained, "But don't tell anyone about this, okay? He said that it's better for the survivors to keep hidden for the time being, or their life might endangered".
"I know the risk." Marik said calmly, "And it's true that it's better to keep them hidden, let them do as they like. But, I still have to inform Alpha and Beta about this, it's not like they would do anything to endanger them anyway, we have our own plan to do." He grinned, "If we found a clue on who destroyed Japan though, I will tell you about it".
Noah nodded, "Understood." He said and walked back to his chair, "Now, you better go, I need to do something else".
"Such a busy kid." Marik teased before he jumped out of the balcony.

"Ah, welcome." Pegasus greeted them as he, with his cloak on, and Akefia entered the Black Market, "The slaves that I told you about are at the back, I need to hide them from the people after all." He said as he led them to the back of the building, where they have a jail like place to locked the slaves.
"Where did you get them?" Akefia asked casually as they walked.
"The family of Tomb Keeper, caught them when they run away, seems like their family killed by the tomb robbers and they were on the run, too bad they fainted from light heat stroke and found by the hunters." Pegasus explained lightly like it's an everyday talk, well, maybe to Pegasus it was.
"How much for them?" Akefia asked again, he was the one in charge of talking since Marik could be found out if Pegasus recognize his voice, so Marik acted like he was only accompanying Akefia and provide the money.
"Well, they are not that healthy, so they only cost 7 for each, too bad." Pegasus said with a shake of his head.
"Well, we will see them first." Akefia said in business like tone.
"Sure." Pegasus answered and stopped in front of one of the cell, "They are inside".
Inside the cell were a girl about 19 years old and a teen boy about 16 years old, Marik was surprised that the girl looked so much like High Priestess Isis and the boy looked so much like him, like a softer version of him. They appear to be not talking, but Akefia and Marik could hear them just fine.
"Do you think they would buy us, Big Sis?" The boy asked in a really soft whisper, "That white haired guy looks like the Thief King".
"We couldn't do anything about it." The girl answered, "Even if that guy indeed is the Thief King and he bought us, it doesn't change the fact that we are slaves now".
Marik and Akefia shared a look, with that kind of ability, it's clear that the two of them were not human, the boy and the girl, possibly siblings, were Nekos for they could talking in a very small voice. They nodded at each other, "We buy them." Akefia said as Marik pulled out 14 gold coins and handed them to Pegasus.
"Thank you for the deal." Pegasus said and he called one of his men to tied the siblings and brought them to Akefia, Akefia took the rope from the guy.
"Let's go." Akefia said to them with toneless voice, even though he was rather surprised that the two Nekos followed them obediently. Well, obediently until they were out of the building.
"Woah! Calm down, you two!" Marik hissed when the boy nearly kicked Marik's face while the girl trying to kick Akefia in the space between his legs, it's a good thing that their reflex had grew even better after Yugi's training, or they would lose to the two Nekos who seemed like they could fight better than normal guards. Well, they were Nekos so it's no surprise.
"Calm down my ass!" The boy yelled as he move to kicked Marik again.
"Calm down before you attacts people's attention, Neko boy." Akefia hissed at them, the boy and the girl froze, he use this time to look around, "It'a good thing there's no guard around, yet".
"How do you . . .?" The girl asked in shock.
"Explanation when we arrived at our home." Marik said as he pushed the two to the horses waiting for them nearby, "We need to get out before the guards come here from the fuss you made earlier".
They forced the siblings to get on the horses and they rode off to the Oasis, they stayed quiet all the way to the Oasis and when they arrived, the boy and the girl gasped in shock.
'This smell, a Neko!" The boy exclaimed when Marik and Akefia climbed down their horses, he and the girl jumped down from the horses and hissed angrily at Akefia and Marik, "Who are you?".
"Why did you buy us?" The girl asked coldly, "Are you enslaving the Neko?".
"Enslaving him would be the farthest thing we do." Akefia answered with a smirk, he then untied the rope tying the sibling's hands, the sibling were staring at them in confusion.
Marik hummed when he smelled a nice smell from near the cave, "Looks like he had already finished grilling our dinner." He looked at the still confused siblings, "Come on in, I bet you are hungry too." He said as he removed his cloak, making the siblings gasped in shock.
"Save the shock for later." Akefia said as he pushed them forward, "Come on, do you want to eat or not?".
"Wh- why?" The girl asked as they walked to the smell direction.
"What's taking you so long?" A voice asked when they arrived at the front of the cave, "I'm tired of waiting here, and I already make it for the new Magic Users as well".
"Eh? That voice . . ." The boy and the girl blinked before gasping when Yugi came out of the cave, "Yugi?!".
Yugi blinked at them, "Oh, so the ones get caught by Pegasus were you two, huh?" He mumbled, "How in the world you could get caught again?".
"Pegasus said that they got caught in light heat stroke, but strangely they were only cost 7 each." Akefia said as he flopped down near the fire where the grilled fishes were, "I wonder if it's only because they got heat stroke or there something else?".
"Injury." Yugi answered, "I smell blood." He looked at the siblings, "Sit down and showed me the wound, Ishizu, Malik".
They hesitated, "Why would you with the Thief King, Yugi?" Malik asked cautiously, "And why would the ex-General with him?".
"Sit down and I will explain." Yugi said sternly, "Marik, get the herbs and bandage".
"Sure." Marik answered and went into the cave, he came back with a bag and placed it beside Yugi before flopping down beside Akefia.
"Now, explain." Malik said as he looked at Yugi.
"After I treat your wound, show them to me." Yugi countered calmly.
Malik sighed before he pulled off his upper clothes, he showed Yugi his back. There's a big cut on his back, it seemed that it was made by sword, "The tomb robbers got me, in case you are wondering." He said quietly.
"You need more training." Yugi commented as he work on Malik's back, "What happened to your parents?".
"Dead." Ishizu answered, "The tomb robbers got them when all of us were patroling".
"I'm sorry to hear that." Yugi said and finished bandaging Malik's back and torso, "Have some food." He said and picked up one of the fishes, Marik and Akefia followed suit, "Now, I will explain what happened".

"I see, so you are making some preparation in case Libya attack Egypt." Malik commented after Yugi finished the story.
"But why would you work with the Thief King?" Ishizu asked.
"Because he is skillful, not to mention he is not that bad." Yugi answered with a smile, "And he is the Beta now".
"What?!" They exclaimed in shock, "You chose Human as Beta?!".
Yugi shrugged, "You know my rule." He answered with a cheeky grin, "As long as the member care for each other and would protect each other like their own family and friends, then I will accept them as a member of my Pack, human and Neko alike".
They two couldn't argued with that, they know just how easy going Yugi's personality was. Malik sighed and looked at Yugi, "It will take a long time, but I guess I have to get used working together with them." He said as he rubbed the back of his head, Ishizu nodded in agreement.
"What do you mean?" Akefia asked with a raised eyebrow.
"We are from Knight's Bloodline." Ishizu answered, "We are the ones born carrying the duty to protect Neko from King's Bloodline like Yugi".
"My parents and Yugi's were good friends." Malik added, "When Yugi was 2 years old, 5 years old for me and 8 years old for Big Sis, we were promised to protect Yugi as his Knights, but since you killed Yugi's parents 5 years ago and Yugi disappeared, we stayed in our home even though we had reached adulthood".
"What do you mean promised?" Marik asked in confusion, Malik and Ishizu stared at him and he gulped, "Well, it's not like Yugi ever told us anything about Neko aside from their ability so we could differentiate between a Neko and a human".
"Knight's Bloodline is the family of Neko who inherit the best ability to take up the position of Knight, just like a family of Royals got to be a Royal, the Knight is the same." Yugi explained, "The King's Bloodline is like the family with the ability of ruling over Neko population, which were not even half of human population, and blessed by either Wisdom or Quick Wits." He looked at Marik and Akefia, "One from the Knight's Bloodline being promised to one of the King's Bloodline means that the parents had agreed to let the Knight to pledge loyalty to the said Neko from King's Bloodline. Both Malik and Ishizu had already taken by my Charm as they said it and wanted to pledge loyalty to me when they reached adulthood, so their parents agreed to their wish and promised them to me".
"Your charm is your kindness, right?" Akefia asked.
Malik scowled at him, "Yugi's charm is not only that!" He argued, "You don't know a feeling of a Neko like us when we met Yugi, he is the best among the best in King's Bloodline, The Pure Blood!".
"Eh?" The two humans asked in confusion.
Yugi sighed, "Malik, Ishizu." He called them, they looked at him, "Did your house get robbed?".
"No." Ishizu answered softly.
"Then we will go there tomorrow to get anything you want to here, then we will take your Basic Neko from there." Yugi said with a smile, "Since Akefia and Marik are both humans, they need to learn everything from scratcth if they want to keep up being a member of a Pack".
Akefia and Marik sighed heavily at the mention of study.
"To make it easier for you to understand." Ishizu started to gain their attention, "Even in King's Bloodline, there are those with Pure Blood or those with Normal Blood. Pure Blood is when a Neko born from two Nekos from King's Bloodline, while the normal is when a Neko born from a Neko from King's Bloodline and normal human or the other type Neko. Yugi is a Pure Blood, meaning he is a Royalty among Royalty".
"That's one point of his Charm, the one taken the attention of Neko right away." Malik continued, "Since Yugi is Pure Blood, he also have more blessings than the Normal Blood, but depends on the Blessing his parents have. Yugi's Mother had the blessing of Quick Wits, and his Father had the blessing of Wisdom, so Yugi got both Quick Wits and Wisdom in him, those are his Charm too. Not no mention Yugi is so Kind and Gentle, he also has a very good Leadership and very good at Judging character, very Perfect to be an Alpha!".
Marik and Akefia looked at Yugi in pure shock, "Don't you have weakness?!" They asked in shock and disbelief, and their mouth were gaping like fish as well.
"Of course he has!" Ishizu answered confidently, "A perfect Alpha doesn't mean to not has a weakness at all, but he has a great weakness that he had managed to overcome, until that weakness become his charm as well." She explained when they shot her a confused look, "Yugi's weakness are . . . One, he is too lazy to study uninteresting stuff to him like politics, a really important part in ruling, whether of a Country or just a group of people. Two, he is no good with counting at all".
Yugi blushed in response and looked away from them.
Akefia and Marik looked Yugi, "Really?" They asked together, Yugi nodded, "How did you overcome them?".
"I'm pretty good in making clay pots, I was the one who make the pots for the Pharaoh in the past." Yugi answered, "I use them to my advantage".
"Really?!" Marik asked in surprise, "You were the one making the pots where Mana hid herself?! . . . The one with many strange symbols on it, right?".
Yugi nodded, "It's not symbols, it's Japanese writing." He explained, "Because I heard that Egypt and Japan were having peace agreement with arranged marriage between them, I thought I would make something that have Japanese smell on it, to help the Japanese Prince to feel at home. I don't like to study at all, so I practiced making clay pots and then engraved the Japanese writing on them, so many times until what I engraved on the pots had been engraved in my brain as well." He rubbed the back of his head, "I couldn't count something difficult, so I end up making games on the pots which requires me to count something, I played those games myself until I understand how to do it properly".
"Wow." Marik and Akefia breathed in awe.
"Now, you understand our feeling when we met him the first time, right?" Malik asked cheekily, "You have to be grateful that Yugi accepted you as a member of his Pack".
"Well, it's late." Yugi reminded them, "There's much for us to do tomorrow, so we better rest so we could do what we have to do".
The rest agreed and went to sleep.
