Stephen's P.O.V
It killed me to watch as her dad yelled at her for being out by the ring knowing that it was my fault she was out here in the first place .
She just looked so sad as she followed her uncle up the ramp I wished that I could say something to make her feel better but I had a feeling that would only make things worse for her and I didn't want to do that .
she seemed to smile when Alicia said something about 007 and for some reason I got a little jealous like I wanted to be the person making her smile when she was sad and at that moment I knew I needed to do something that would get my mind off of this girl I had to put some space between us before this whole thing blew up in both our faces I mean what was I thinking she was the undertakers daughter I mean that is like signing my death warrant .
I knew it would be hard but I needed to start distancing myself from Kia for both of our stakes I just hoped she wouldn't end up hating me .
ALICIA'S P.O.V
Kia looked so sad when she was leaving that I knew if I told her I would try 007 and tell her about it later it would cheer her up a little at least I hoped it would .
So when I told her I would talk to her later and she smiled it made me happy I knew she liked Stephen and I knew from the way he was watching her leave that he liked her to .
Now if I could only get him to say it and get them away from her dad so they could spend more than a few minutes together maybe her stay wouldn't be that bad at least she would be happy .
"Hey so are you going to tell me what 007 is are we springing her from the locker room ?"Stephen asked me
"No I don't think anything could spring her from that locker room now as much as I wish I could but nope 007 is something different ." I said looking at him
"So are you going to let me in on it or is it a secret ?" He asked
"Nope sorry red but its kind of a girls only mission thing ."I said smiling
"Okay so I am heading to catering want to tag along ?" He asked
"Sure ."I said picking up my hoodie
I had to come up with a plan on how I was going to bring this up without making it look like Kia had asked me to do it I mean I had a feeling he liked her to a pretty stong one in fact but I wanted to be sure before I just outed her like that .
"so Stephen how have you been as of late ?" I asked
"Fine why whats up Alicia ?"he asked raising an eyebrow
"Nothing dang can't I just ask how you've been ."I said
" Okay yes I have been really good even though rooming with wade is getting pretty tiring he keeps bringing a girl back to the room almost nightly and usually has one for me also ." He said as we sat down
"Oh and what you're not interested ?"I asked
"Okay Alicia just ask me what you want to ask mew because you are really bad at acting like nothing is up ."he said putting his water bottle down
Crap I thought so much for 007 but maybe there was still a way I could spin this to make it look like it was me wanting to know and not Kia .
"Okay so I have seen the way you act around Kia and I was just wondering if maybe you liked her like that or not ?" I asked putting all my cards on the table
"I like Kia she is a sweet kid ."He answered
"Okay you're really not going to make this easy are you into her in more than just a friend way I mean would you like to go out with her ?" I asked him
"Wow I mean dang just come right out with it ."he said looking away
"Just answer th question do you like her ?" I asked him
"Yes I do but I can't it would make things so much worse for her than they already are ." H e said looking away
"Why do you say that she might like you to and then she would have something to look forward to while shes here ." I told him
"Yeah or she could not see me like that and I make this whole thing weird for her and then there is her dad and he wouldn't let it happen and then he wouldn't let us hang around each other and then I lose her as a friend also ." He said
" Or he could feel the same way about you and you could come cross her dad when you had to I mean its not like he really pays attention to her anyways ."I told him
"Yeah maybe I just don't want this causing more problems for her."he told me
"Well maybe you should let her be the one to make that choice Kia is a smart girl she isn't going to do something that she doesnt want to do ."I said standing up to leave
"Hey Alicia ." Stephen called as I left
"Yeah ?" I asked turning around
"007 ."was all he said with a smile
"Yeah just don't tell her you figured it out ." I said smiling
"Okay see you later ." He said
As I left catering I pulled out my phone to send Kia a message "007 a go and with a good result =) ttyl -Alicia"
KIA'S P.O.V
I was sitting in my dads locker room fuming as he and te beast sucked face like really they acted younger than I am when I felt my phone go off in my pocket .
When I pulled it out I saw it was a message from Alicia "007 a go and with a good result =) ttyl -Alicia"
That one message made me happy enough to pretend like my life didn't suck right now .
As I was putting my phone back in my pocket I got a message from Stephen saying "hey want to play cards tonight so I can try to redeem myself ?"
That made an even bigger smile come to my face and I sent back a quick message saying that I couldn't wait and quickly put my phone back into my pocket before my dad noticed .
STEPHEN'S P.O.V
I had sent to Kia asking if she wanted to play cards tonight so I could try and redeem myself she answered with a "couldn't wait." I smiled putting my phone back into my bag thinking yeah this is the opposite of what I am trying to do .
This was better though because it's what I wanted to do and like Alicia said I could cross the bridge with her dad on it when I had to for now I was going to spend some time with her if I could make her smile why not .
