A/N thank you everyone that has shown renewed intreat in this story. It has been very hard to decide where to go from where I left it. I didnt want to go cliche but I also wanted probability. Well I hope this tiny bit keeps you eanting more. Ill be back to it soon.

B'Elanna rushed into sickbay in her robe. Kathryn lay on a biobed the doctor trying hard to stop her convulsions.

"Doctor what can I do?"

"Get on the bed Lieutenant. Try holding her head still."

She climbed on the bed throwing one leg over Kathryn's and pulling herself flush against the red heads side. She wrapped her arm around her head holding it to her chest.

Kathryn's convulsions slowed to minor tremors.

"I thought this was over. I thought after making love to her she would be alright."

B'Elanna stroked her lovers cheek.

The Doctor shook his head.

"I thought the same Lieutenant."

He ran his tricorder over an unconscious Janeway and sighed.

"Her body temperature has returned to normal. I am going to run a scan on her brain to make sure there was no damage done to it. Maybe I can find an explanation."

He looked up at a now exhausted Klingon.

"I am going to keep her sedated at least until I find whats going on."

" I am not leaving her doc. Not now."

The Doctor nodded as he pressed a Hypospray to her neck.

"I wouldnt expect anything less."

Kathryn was deathly still as B'Elanna fussed over her. The Doctor was unsettled by the sight. Well, as unsettled as a hologram can be.

"Lieutenant I need you to tell me precisely what you both did today."

B'Elanna blushed slightly.

"Well. Um. After you left we uhm. We made love and then went to the mess hall for lunch. Then Chakotay stated in with his shit which im sure stressed her out. She has some wicked physical strenght Doc. She got a hold of him and he could not get her hands off of his collar."

"Ah. Lets run some scans."

He passed the tricorder over the still woman. Her breathing was shallow but steady. Her heart rate was normal. Her hormones however. That was a diffent story.

"Her hormones are all over the place. Shes had a spike in her testosterone level; which would account for the strenght. Her estrogen is fluctuating rapidly. Was she calmer when you got back to her quarters?"

B'Elanna nodded.

"She felt exhausted and had a serious head ache. We were in the bath when the tremors started again."

"Well im not seeing any physiological changes but i want to keep an eye on her tonight."

I would like you near by Lieutenant just in case."

"Of course. I wouldnt leave her now anyway."

The Doctor continued his scans checking all vital organs for any damage. He halted as he got to lower abdomen.

B'Elanna looked up at him. She could feel her stomachs drop.

"Whats wrong Doctor?"

The Doctor looked momentarily stunned. He handed B'Elanna the tricorder keeping the wand hovered over Kathryn's abdomen.

There were tell tail signs of another heart beat. B'Elanna's jaw slacked.

"How is this possible Doc."

"I have no current explanation. Perhaps its time we wake the Captain. I would assume she will want answers."
