hey everyone. Here is the new chapter. I am sorry it's short but I had a bit a trouble with this chapter. I am not quite happy with it but it works. I don't think I would be happy with this chapter if i wrote any more. I hope everyone likes it.

Chapter 10

"You!" Liz exclaimed as Max and Milo pushed her behind them. They couldn't believe who it was.

"Guys, she is safe," Francis said as her watched what was happening in front him.

"He is right. I won't harm her. We are all here for the same reason," the man said.

"How did you…? How are you…?" Max stuttered as Milo looked at his brother. He figured Max knew something.

"How did I escape? How am I not dead?" the man said. "Next time, your boss orders someone dead, make sure that the guy he hires isn't working for the man he is trying to kill."

Liz looked confused. "Wait. Why would Sonny want you dead? What happened to the peace, " she asked the gentleman. She didn't understand why Sonny wanted him dead. She thought there was peace between the two.

The man looked at Liz for a minute. He was debating how much to tell her. He looked at Max and Milo. Max was shaking his head no and Milo was looking as confused as Liz. He thought for a second and said. "There was no peace. There was on my part but not Corinthos. He wanted me dead because I found out about some very shady dealings that Corinthos has been doing including what got his partner shot and then Corinthos subpar searching for his partner or his partner's killer," the man said.

Liz was shocked and speechless. She could not believe what she had been listening to. She looked to Max.

"Max, he's wrong. Tell me he is wrong. Tell me Sonny didn't have anything to do with Jason's death," she pleaded with him.

Max saw the devastation on her face and was about to deny it but then thought of what his boss had been doing the last few months and realized that he couldn't.

"I am sorry, Miss Webber. I can't. Mr C had been having meetings and have had Shawn going with him." Max said.

The man started to laugh at Max but stopped when he saw the same look on Liz's face that Max had.

"I don't understand. Sonny is all about how important family is and Jason and Sam just got their son back. Why would he do this? He called Jason his brother. Why?" Liz asked.

"The only thing I can think of why was because Morgan found out what Corinthos was doing. I don't know what Morgan found out but I do know Corinthos is working with someone, I just don't know who," the man said.

"What is Sonny doing that is so bad that he would have Jason killed or have order your death?" Liz wanted to know.

Before the man could answer, someone else came into the room and said, "I can answer that and get out of that chair Zacchara…"
