Chapter 9 Big Sister
Pages from a book are being flipped slowly, by Lance in his personal library.
Then he heard a knock on the door as Lance answers it.
"Come on in." Said Lance.
A maid comes in with a cart filled with snacks and beverages.
"Lance-sama, I have brought you what you ask for." Said the maid bowing to Lance.
"Thank you, you may leave now." Said Lance kindly.
The maid leaves the room as he grabs one of the snacks on the cart which is peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
"So this town is called Colmar…" Said Lance, while he reads the history book.
Lance is currently researching the world, but for now, he has to start with the town he's currently living in and its history.
"Hmm, interesting *Bite*...Hey, this sandwich is good." Said Lance as he took a bite of the sandwich and complimenting it.
"I don't know much about my previous world history since I never go to school but man learning new things is so much fun." Said Lance having fun learning new things.
During his spare time, Lance spends most of it on learning new things from his personal library that his father gave to him when he was 5 as a birthday present.
He doesn't know why they gave him this room but as time goes on, he found out why. It's because his parents saw him as a gifted child.
A gifted child is common in this world, they saw Lance as one because of how mature he tends to act and speak towards them.
So instead of buying him toys and whatever a child of his age would want, they gave him this library to develop his learning faster. Which is a wise choice for them to do, since they also found out later their child loved learning new things.
Although they don't know that their child has a mind of an 18 years-old male from another world they don't know. Of course, Lance hasn't told them about it yet, no he would never do so, to begin with since he threw away all of it and start a new life which is right now along with his best friend Axion.
Lance stood up and grab the book.
"Okay, now, I should-"
Suddenly the door was opened in a fierce way and a girl came in as she spotted Lance looking at her.
"Lany~!" Said the girl as she starts running toward him.
"(Shit?!)" Lance thought, panicking on what to do.
A girl who is currently 10 years old right, charge towards Lance. As he starts to panic, thinking if he should dodge her and let her fall straight to the floor or receive her upcoming running hug and fall down together because of her weight.
As much he wants to dodge her, he chooses the other option.
"Oof!" Said Lance in pain and after receiving her hug.
"Lany, Lany, Lany!" Said the girl snuggling her little brother chest.
"Onee-chan, can you get off me." Said, Lance
The girl sits on top of him.
"Nope~, I haven't seen Lany for a while, why would I end this moment right now~." Said the girl licking her lips.
Lance use his left hand and flicked her forehead.
"Owie!"
"If you don't get off right now, I'll hate you forever!" Said Lance getting angry at her.
"Y-Yes, I'm sorry! Don't hate your big sister!" Said the girl as she starts to get off of him.
Lance stood up and sighed as he looks at her sister, in a state of panicking beside him.
"This big sister of mine. Seriously...really troublesome." Lance thought to her big sister.
This is Lance big sister. Alicia Francis. She's a brocon and deeply likes her little brother. It already reaches the boundary of sexual harassment, without her even knowing.
Although Lance knows it because he has experience sexual harassment in his previous life.
Even though his big sister does this to him, he doesn't hate her at all.
well at first, he did but he just got used to it in the end and must control the situation whatever it happens.
He also knows that his big sister loves him so much, not like in his previous life where his uncle does that to him because he felt like it. There's seriously no love on that.
He grabs some sandwiches and a cup of orange juice on the cart.
"Get up, and have this." Said Lance as he handed her a snack and a cup of orange juice.
"Y-You don't hate me anymore Lany?" Said Alicia.
"How would I hate my adorable big sister, come on stop acting like its end of the world for you and get up." Said Lance cheering her up.
She immediately hugs her brother, while Lance holds the cup tightly before it falls from his hand.
"Oh I love, love, love you so much Lany!" Said Alicia being honest to her feelings as she buries her face to his chest.
"You're such a handful person, Onee-chan." Said Lance, controlling the balance of the orange juice in the cup before it spills on her.
As things calm down the two sit on a chair and talk.
"So why are you here? I thought you went to Frankfurt along with father?" Said Lance questioning his big sister why she's here right now.
Frankfurt is a city from the north of Colmar, It would take you around 3 to 5 hours to get there by train and 2 to 3 hours if you have a car.
"Frankfurt is boring, I don't like it there. I like it here with you Lany~" Said Alicia being honest.
"But, you were given an opportunity to enroll in a private school in that city by fathers effort, are you just going to throw his effort away." Said Lance reminding her why her father took her there.
"If you say it like that…..still I don't want to be separated from you Lany!" She said being stubborn and ignorant.
"..."
"I have no problem If my big sister decided to stay at Colmar and go to school on this town instead of Frankfurt but there's a reason why father did this, and I heard that enrolling Alicia into a private school in that city isn't easy." Lance thought, thinking a way to make his big sister go back there. "I guess, I have no choice but entice her."
"Onee-chan, let's make a deal." Said Lance, looking very serious.
"Deal?" Said Alicia curious of what the deal is.
"I know you don't want us to get separated but if you go back to Frankfurt and continue school there, then graduate. We'll go on a date." Said Lance hoping for this to work.
"Date?" Said Alicia confused.
"Oh yeah, she still a kid, of course, she doesn't know...hmm, should I lie about this?" Lance thought as he starts thinking of another meaning of the date. "Nah, sooner or later she'll find out what the true meaning of the date."
"Date is, where a couple spends time together for the entire day." Said Lance explaining her the true meaning of the date.
"Aren't we already doing that." Said Alicia thinking she knows.
"No this is different, It means I won't stop you if you do anything weird to me." Said Lance kinda regretting this idea right now.
"You won't...stop me...Lany won't stop me...Lany...Wehehe." Said Alicia already thinking of something that would make Lance shiver if he heard it.
"God, I hate this. Father, you better thank me later." Lance thought as he seriously began to regret this.
"So deal?" Said Lance as he reaches for a handshake.
The idea pops from Alicia's head and took the handshake from her little brother.
"Deal~." Said Alicia happily.
"Okay, now go back. It's still afternoon, you can arrive there in the evening." Said Lance, telling his big sister to leave him alone.
"I know, but before I go…I heard that you made a friend...no a best friend." Said Alicia turning her happy face to a grim scary smile.
The room atmosphere turns cold.
"Is this person a female, if so, I can't let you two be together. No, you're always mine Lany, I wouldn't let anyone steal you away from me. Neither do you have a choice-"
Suddenly, Lance flicks her head, interrupting her.
"Owie."
"Onee-chan, what did I tell you before." Said Lance reminding his big sister about their past conversation
"I won't be replaced by anyone." Said Alicia remembering what he meant and pouting.
Then Lance holds both of his big sister hand.
"Yet you still forget about it and let "THAT" control you." Said Lance reminding her mistake.
"I know you're jealous, may think that I have a friend I'll replace you with." Said, Lance
"Heck, you'll even be more jealous when I'll get a wife in the future." Said Lance stating facts.
"But always remember you're my lovable big sister. I'll never replace you even I got those things." Said Lance reminding his big sister that she's special.
"Of course, us two separating each other makes you think I'm lying but I speak the truth and It's what father wanted. You know I can't stop father neither you have anything to stop it." Said Lance.
"All I could do right now is motivate you, by making a deal." Said Lance giving one of the reasons why he made that deal.
If Alicia doesn't go back to Frankfurt, their father will get angry and drag Alicia back forcefully to that city, Lance doesn't want to see that.
"Do you trust me, Alicia." Said Lance calling to her name.
" I trust you, It's just I'm having doubts…" Said Alicia telling her little brother the truth.
"...If you are, then you don't trust me at all." Said Lance standing up from his chair and walks away.
"!?"
"Lany!" Said Alicia as she goes to hug him from behind.
"Don't, don't leave me behind, please...I'll stops having doubts...just don't leave me, please." Said Alicia, as she saw a sign of Lance giving up on her.
Lance put his right hand on Alicia's hands.
"Then trust me." Said Lance.
"Because even their treating you like their own daughter right now, I'll make sure to let that continue and you'll never be outcasted by them again," Said Lance being determined.
"Mark my words, as the little brother you loved. Alicia!"
"Mm..." Said Alicia as she smiles happily.
An untold story is happening between these two, and their family, but now is not the time to learn what it is.
Although we'll eventually find out later as the original story continues.
