It might be kinda pathetic at this point but I really am tying to finish this story. :)
I might leave this story with this little chapter as an end
...maybe I'll write more...but don't expect too much I guess...
Dimitri POV
I reached Rose her jacket, opened the back door and motioned her to go out into the snow with me. I closed the door behind her again and turned to her. She had a curious expression on her face, waiting for me to talk.
"I want to thank you again for bringing my family here. I don't think that you really and fully understand how thankful my family and I are." She smiled at me with a knowing look.
"I may not exactly know how it feels to love and be loved by your family as you do but I see it in your eyes." She stopped talking and looked deep into my eyes for a short moment.
Of course she did understand how I felt. She always knew.
"You don't have to thank me. It was already worth it to see your face lighten up when you saw your family." she spoke further, smiling to herself.
I put my hands in the pockets of my duster and felt the necklace in my right hand.
"Well, I've got a little present for you too."
"And what is that little something you got me if I'm allowed to ask?" I smiled as she asked curiously.
I stepped closer to a now puzzled Rose. I leaned down to her so that I could feel her sweet breath warm on my face. I hadn't thought about kissing her. I also knew it was wrong to do so but I couldn't resist that tingling feeling that ran like electricity through my whole body. My lips were pulled to her like there were magnets between us.
I pulled her chin up to me and kissed her. I felt a relive when I felt her kissing me back. It was very different from our kiss that we shared back in the gym. This kiss now was still filled with as much passion and release as the one back then but this time there was no anger, there was just love. A love that consumed me. She consumed me. My Roza...it was sweet and slow like we had all the time of the world. I felt her lips soft and warm on mine while I blended out the cold around us. Still kissing her I took my hand out of her hair that had lingered there and carefully pulled the necklace out of my duster. It was hard to not break the kiss and still concentrate on opening the necklace to secretly put it around her neck without her noticing. Somehow I had managed to do so. Now I pulled her one more time closer to me, the kiss heating up a bit before we finally broke apart. We were both breathing heavy when I looked at her, her cheeks pink and her eyes shining even brighter than this morning when I first saw her. I had that feeling that I didn't look any different from her. I smiled at her for a second before I turned around and went inside again.
Rose POV
He turned around to the door, still smiling and went inside. The door closed behind him and I stood alone in the snow. I had really liked this kiss I had to admint. Of course I did. I still felt the warmth of his soft lips on mine. After all the time I knew him I still wondered how such a tall man was able to be so smooth and gentle. Not just his lips but every touch and every movement. It wasn't the kind of Christmas present I had tought he'd give me but I hadn't even tought about him buying or giving me any present anyway. I just really wondered why he would kiss me since he's so strict against it and I understand the reason. It just wasn't very Dimitri-like.
I shook off the thoughts about why he did it and just enjoyed the peaceful moment before I went inside again.
I took off my jacket and hung it back at the hall-stand and turned to the mirror to see if my hair was still in place after Dimitri had ran his fingers through it.
That's when I noticed it. Around my neck was the neclace that Lissa and I had seen on the Christmas market on the day we came to the lodge. It was even more beautiful than I remembered. I took it off to look at it more accurate. I couldn't belive Dimitri would make me such a present. I mean he really was a gentleman but I hadn't thought we had this kind of relationship where he'd buy me a necklace but it had to be from him even thought I hadn't even noticed him putting it on. I turned it around between my fingers and saw something written on the back. There stood in beautiful letters 'My Roza'.
And I know that doesn't sound a lot like me but I might liked it so much that my eyes were getting watery from joy. How should I be able not to love him when he was doing things like that?!
Should I continue so that Romitri REALLY ends up together or do you like the end like it is at this point?
I also got a new idea for a fanfic but live's busy so I really don't know if I'll publish anything...so let me know what you'd think of a new fanfic!
