Hey lovelies! It's been a long long time and I'm truly sorry bout that. However I'm back so no need to worry. And give a big big big thank you to the awesome Queen of Air and Darkness, whose beta skills, I couldn't be without.
Seriously- thank you dollface.

Alrighty. Here we go...
Disclaimer- I don't own anything except my oc's and plot. :(

When Ash and had I started our walk back to camp, my head was held high. But the closer we got, the faster my pulse beat, and when the clearing came into view, I stopped abruptly, Ash stopping with me.

Ash raised a questioning eyebrow and I shook my head slowly. "Just wait one second okay? I don't want to go in yet."

The Winter prince's lips curved down a bit, showing his displeasure at my emotional weakness but stopped nonetheless.

I took a few calming breaths and reminded myself that I was fey and things shouldn't get to me like this. But the memory of crimson hair flashed in my mind and I shuddered involuntarily.

I looked up at Ash and nodded and we approached the campsite, Ash giving me a small, sweet, squeeze. I took my seat next to Meghan and hugged her, resting my head on her shoulder.

She smiled and patted my head, something she'd taken to doing a while back. "Tough day, kid?"

I groaned. "When has it ever been easy?" I asked, and her tinkling laugh vibrated through her body.
I adjusted my face and snuggled further into the Iron Queen, surprised I had gotten away with being so affectionate for so long. Usually Ash would steal her attention the moment they saw each other. I had always been a rather affectionate fey, which had resulted in merciless teasing and a few questioning glances but I blamed it on my warm upbringing.

Speaking of warm…

"Where's Goodfellow?" I said, pulling back from Meghan.
She shifted warily, sparing a quick look at Ash before answering. "He came back a while ago, we talked for a bit and he wandered off." She paused for a moment and then continued, "He should be back in a few though."

I remained quiet and she met my eyes.

"He told you," I said.

It wasn't a question.

"Yeah. He told me. And I don't see why it's such a big deal. Puck is an amazing guy. He's hot. Literally. You want him and he's made it damn clear he wants you. What's the problem there?"

I sat up and wrapped my arms around myself. "I don't know. Nor do I really want to discuss it at this point. I'm still processing what is going on. I've explained this to you before and I thought you understood..."

Meghan's face turned apologetic and Ash appeared at her side in an instant.

"I know. I just, he's a good guy. It wouldn't be bad, you know? He plays around but you realize he wouldn't move faster than what you are prepared to handle-"
"Who's handling what now?"
Goodfellow grinned from where he suddenly appeared, his eyes finding mine across the clearing.

"I hope we're talkin' about what I THINK we're talkin' about. I wouldn't mind seeing what you can and can't handle, Columbia." He winked and my shock faded into annoyance.

Scooting between Ash and Meghan, he wrapped his arms around their shoulders. "Am I right or am I right?"

Without a word, Ash grabbed Puck's hand and slammed it back into his wrist, a loud pop accompanying the motion.

"Oy!" Goodfellow yelped and snatched his arms back, cradling them to his chest.
I smirked happily and high-fived both Ash and Meghan.

"I don't think now is the time, Goodfellow," Ash warned.

The Summer fey glared at Ash before flexing his injured wrist and sticking his tongue out at me. "Gee. Thanks, Princess, you got me in trouble. Will you at least kiss it better?" His eyes widened in mock innocence and he held out his wrist.
Ash's eyes narrowed and Puck's smile faded.

"Okay fine - Sorry AGAIN, Brazil. You people are no fun today, and I'd rather not hang with such buzzkills. So if you'll excuse me I'm going to find people who appreciate my abilities." The redhead stood and brushed himself off. After about 3 steps he half-turned and a sly look graced his perfect features. He licked his plump lips and I felt my eye twitch.

"And no, Princess - not those abilities. Although I'd be more than happy to show you those whenever you want..."

My jaw fell slack and he easily dodged the rock thrown at him.

Meghan glanced at me and her eyes closed. "This is gonna be a looong journey."
