AN: Note that this is not a full chapter, just an interlude. And there will be a big choice in the end of this interlude that will help me steer the direction of this story and help me to update faster...hopefully.

The Nrvnqsr

A stolen name I got from a character in a franchise, become the name of the group I founded and lead. There are several reason I pick this name really, but at the core of it, I pick this name because of its sheer awesomeness.

A petty reason don't you think?

What of its member you ask? Well….including me, there are currently 6 member of this group.

One is obviously me, Valdus Gremory. Your everyday normal guy who was suddenly being reincarnated to a Highschool DxD world even though he's not dead yet. Instead of enjoying the fact that he was reborn in this awesome world full of beautiful women though, he instead choose to forsake it all in hope to achieve his dream, his dream since before he was reincarnated.

Next is Raiser Phenex, a guy whose original role is supposed to be the early arc villain, but in this world, he had the misfortune of meeting me. Compare to his canon self though, I can safely say that this Raiser is much, more, powerful than him. Even among the entire Nrvnqsr member, I can safely say that Raiser is the one I trust most.

Third, we have Ronove. An extra demon that never even appear in the canon story. An extremely powerful devil easily on par with the Maou-class. I once made a deal with him, in exchange of his service and loyalty, I would give him something that he desire most.

Fourth is Paimon, an aide of sort to the former Lucifer. Now she has sworn her loyalty to me. You could say that my relationship with her is similar to Grayfia and Sirzechs . But rather than maid, it's closer to say that she is my bodyguard. As for our relationship….well, let's just say Rias aren't exactly wrong about her assumption.

Fifth is Anna, a former human and the previous 1 in 100 years . By chance, I meet her back in the time while Witch-Hunt still exist. She's a sweet and kind girl, some say she might be naï , she's also a person who can wield a holy sword without the aid of enchantment or help whatsoever. In fact, my previous project, Holy Arm, can go that far is thanks to her. Well, the project turn out to be not worth the hassle so I sort of abandoned it.

Last but certainly not the least is Luna, the RPG wizard. Why do I call her RPG wizard is pretty obvious if you look at how she dresses and act. She's also a pure human, meaning that she is not reincarnated devil or whatsoever. But despite that, in term of AOE attack, I can safely say she is the best among us

And that is the member of my small but probably powerful group, some of them follow me out of their loyalty, some because I promise a reward to them, and for one mischievous wizard it's because I seems fun enough.

So what is my goal you ask? The Goal of the Nrvnqsr itself?

It is simple of course, to go to another world.

Of course, by this I mean that ever-smiling bastard Rizevim. The biggest help and obstacle to this grand plan I called mine.

"You never pick an easy target huh, sempai" A sigh come from Raiser as he run his hand through his hair. I only reply him with a grin that he immediately greets with a scowl.

"Well, what's the fun of picking easy target ?" I said to him

" It offers us a bigger chance of staying alive, My King" Paimon answer from beside me

" Plus we didn't have to get serious" Added Luna

"And there's also the fact that we can finish it faster, your majesty" Ronove finish with a smile on his face

They sure love ganging up on me don't they?

"Ano…Lord Valdus? "

Among the vicious voice ganging up on me, Anna shyly raise her hand as she called me with a soft voice, all pair of eyes instantly gathers around her as she flinch, so suddenly have the attention of everyone in the room

"Yes Anna?"

" I also don't like picking an easy target" She meekly said.

Hearing that, I can already feel tears forming in my eyes. Finally! Someone who is taking my side in this petty argument!

"Have I mentioned I love you Anna?" I jokingly said to her.

Of course, when she heard this, Anna's face instantly turn bright red, "Fuwehh-?! Tha-that's-!" As Anna tried to form an answer while fighting to keep herself from fainting, I can only laugh seeing her antic, she really is a pure girl.

"Back to the topic, we still have some time before we go and kill Rizevim and that damn Qllipoth of his" I offhandedly said to the member of my own little group,

"Oh? And how long is this 'time' if I may ask, your majesty?" Ronove ask the question on everyone mind.

I shrugged, "Don't know the exact time but it should be close after he obtain a part of Ophis's power"

Everyone nod at this, not even a bit of surprised after I casually said that Rizevim will get a hold of the Infinite Dragon's power.

"Will it really work though sempai? Your method?" Raiser ask me. For once, instead of carelessly answer him, I take some time to think about the answer.

"…..Maybe, maybe not. It's only a speculation after all" I finally answer after a couple minutes of silences, not only to Raiser, but to everyone in the room.

"Even if it's fail. I still be able to use Rizevim's plan as a backup so you need not to worry" I continue . In here, I allow a smile to form in my face

"After all, with the power of The Infinity Dragon, The Apocalypse Beast, and even The Great Red himself combine into a single being, who could possibly hope to stand in our way?"

AN:

Now here is the choice i was talking about. Since this story has pretty much gone into AU as hell, i present you dear reader, two different choice

1. IS that we continue to read the adventure of Valdus in his quest to achieve his dream. SO that mean that the future chap will only contain little of what the Original Novel does. Sure there is a mention here and there to let you know what volume we currently in but it's only that. This choice will mean that we're gonna see Valdus's story in DxD world, away from the main story

2. We stay close to the original source. So that mean while Valdus still hope to achieve his dream, he will participate more and/or have bigger roles in main story.
