Author's note: Thank you for all the lovely reviews! I'm glad y'all enjoyed the fluff. There will be much more fluff of course, because we all know I'm the unofficial queen of Puzzle fluff. 8]
It took me a week to update! *is proud* Also I just found out this story is almost a YEAR OLD. Holy cow, how did I not notice this sooner. I feel old.
Anyway, enjoy the new chapter~. It's slightly longer this time. Contains pointless humor, angst, slight fluff and more angst. You have been warned. xD
"…" Yami awkwardly reached for the strap, wrapped his index finger around it and lifted up. The pink lace made his left eye twitch. There was a tiny purple ribbon between the cups with a rhinestone on it. He looked over his shoulder and yelled, "Mana!"
Said person stopped the shower. "What?" was the muffled reply from the bathroom.
"Would you mind not leaving your bras on my bed?"
"Oh, is that where I left it? Would you mind handing it over to me? I forgot to bring it."
With a small sigh, Yami walked over to his bathroom and knocked.
"Close your eyes for a second?"
"Yeah, never mind. Pick it up yourself." Yami dropped the bra on the ground on quickly walked out of the bedroom. He really didn't have to see that. Amaya was sleeping peacefully on the couch, oblivious to the comedic scene.
It had been one week since the rumors had started spreading. During that time, the chaos had died down a bit (meaning that the paparazzi was tired of trying to find out who Yami was) and the bright sparkle in Yugi's eyes had returned as well.
They had finished the single, with Yami's help and it was that time to start rehearsing again. Kaiba wanted to hear it today and if he approved, he would sign the contract, meaning that Yami would officially be a band member.
Just when Yami was about to leave, he heard a knock on his front door. Mana walked out of his room, drying her hair off with a towel. Fortunately she was already dressed. Or at least, wearing a simple blue shirt and boxers. His boxers.
"Why are you wearing my boxers?" Yami's left eye twitched again. Living with a girl was harder than he thought.
"Because um…" she trailed off and her lips curled into a sheepish smile. "I've been too lazy to do my own laundry like you told me to. So I ran out of clean underwear. I will do my laundry today! Please?"
Yami rolled his eyes. Of course he didn't mind, but this was all just a bit weird to him. She put the towel on her shoulders and walked over to him.
"You expecting someone?" she said with a cheeky grin, obviously trying to change the subject. After telling her that he wasn't expecting anyone, they both stared at the door, wondering who in their right minds would come over at ten in the morning.
"Did you forget to pay the bills?"
"No."
"Do you think it could be Anzu?"
Yami raised an eyebrow and looked over his shoulder at his best friend. "She's not in town anymore, remember?"
"Well, I'm out of ideas. Just open up."
"Yami?" an awfully familiar voice spoke from the other side of the door. It was definitely a woman's voice, but not Anzu's. Mana blinked confusedly, poking his shoulder blade when Yami stayed silent. "I can hear you. Don't pretend you're not in there."
Then it hit him like a brick in the face. His eyes almost popped out of his head when he took a step back.
"Mai." Yugi and Jounouchi had told him everything about what happened and the nice vibe he had gotten from her was gone. He had lost all respect for her after that conversation. His protective side was showing and he refused to talk to her.
"Just open the door, please?" Mana was about to walk over to the door, but Yami grabbed the back of her shirt and dragged her back to his chest. She looked up at him worriedly and was about to complain but he quickly shushed her.
"We'll wait till she leaves," he whispered in her ear. "I don't want her here." Mana squeezed his arm and nodded. Mai continued to knock on the door, calling out to him and he noticed that Mana didn't like this one bit.
"She seems desperate," she murmured, looking back up at him pleadingly.
"Fine, at least hear me out," Mai said, clearly annoyed. "Jounouchi won't pick up his phone and I gave up after calling him at least a thousand times. I need to thank him for what he did. I was wondering if you could talk to him for me to see if everything's okay. Or is this his way of dumping me?"
Yami frowned at the door. Either Mai was really good at acting, or she really did not have any idea what was going on.
"Dumping her…?" Mana said quietly, wanting to walk towards the door again. Yami rolled his eyes and looped an arm around her waist so she couldn't get away.
"I'll tell him he's a true gentleman. You can leave now."
"Is there a reason why you're letting me talk to a door?"
"Yeah, Yami," Mana said stubbornly, trying to wiggle out of his grip. Of course Mana had no idea since Kaiba suggested not telling her about it and Yami had kept his word. "It's not nice to leave a woman at the door. You should know that by now."
"Who's that other girl, Yami?" Suddenly Mai's annoyed tone melted into a more mature one. "Oh. Sorry if I'm interrupting something. I guess that's your girlfriend whom you were talking about."
"Girlfriend?" Both adults exclaimed. Mana turned around and gave him a confused look.
"You've been telling everyone I'm your girlfriend?"
Yami stared at her, his mouth opening and closing, showing a very good imitation of a fish on dry land. Then he remembered mentioning he had a girlfriend when he and Mai had to practice that song together. She was confusing Mana with Anzu.
He heard Mai snickering on the other side and he was yanked back into reality. He stomped over to the door, gave it a rough pull, revealing a smirking Mai.
"She's not my girlfriend. Now get out before I throw you out," Yami growled. Mai looked at him as if he had just punched her in the face. She folded her arms over her chest and straightened up, taking a daring step closer.
"Excuse me?"
"What is going on?" Mana put her hands on her hips, looking between the two. Suddenly, her eyes softened when she looked Mai up and down. The older woman was dressed in a short blue dress, which reached her things. To cover up her shoulder, she had used a simple jacket and closed the first two buttons. Mana's verdant eyes fell on the other's face. "You've been crying."
Mai was taken aback by that comment and took a step back. "What? No, I haven't."
"Your eyeliner's smeared and your lipstick has rubbed off. You either use really cheap make-up or you've been crying."
Seeing the look on Mai's face, Yami thought it was probably the latter. It was rather surprising because Mai didn't seem like the person who would cry easily. Something was up.
"Why are you really here?" he spoke up.
Mai turned back to him, narrowing her eyes. "I told you. Jounouchi has been ignoring me and I want you to talk to him for me."
"Wait, is she talking about Katsuya Jounouchi?" Mana said, gripping Yami's arm. "Is this the woman he was spotted with at Burger World?"
"Yeah, that was me. I wanted to thank him for covering up my face with his hat. It seems like his plan worked because no one's recognized me," Mai explained. She looked Mana up and down and frowned at the sight of the boxers and bare legs. "You sure you're not his girlfriend? I mean, you're wearing his boxers and look like you just had steamy sex."
Mana's eyes widened and her face was bright red. She quickly hid behind Yami to hide her half-nakedness. Yami's nose had also gone red and he quickly cleared his throat. Mai's grin was about to split her face in half, which made Yami even more pissed.
"No. We're just close friends. She's staying over and she ran out of," he looked over his shoulder, giving her a mocking glare. "clean underwear. So she borrowed my boxers without even asking me."
"Aha," Mai breathed, still giving them a playful look, completely forgetting why she had come here in the first place. "You two must be really close. I mean, if you don't get turned on with her walking around showing off those nice legs." She motioned towards Mana and let out a small chuckle. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say that you're—"
Before she could finish, he gave Mai a shove and quickly closed the door, still feeling the blood rushing to his face. He had never felt this hot before. He hesitantly looked over his shoulder at Mana who had folded her arms over her chest.
"What was that all about?"
"Before you jump to any conclusions," Yami said after he had taken a deep breath to calm himself down. "She was confusing you with Anzu."
"You've been seeing Anzu again?"
"No," Yami quickly said, turning around and raising a hand. "I mentioned that I was dating someone when we had to work together. She had also auditioned for Heavenly Hell."
"Ah." Mana gave him a look, a small smile spreading over her face. "If you say so. I'd better go find some pants. Don't want you to get… turned on." She winked and let out a loud shriek when Yami started chasing her.
Yugi opened the door with a big grin, biting his lower lip slightly. "You're here. Great, we'll start right away." Yami removed the case from his back with a small grunt and entered the hotel room. It looked like everything was set up already.
There was a brilliant drum kit standing in front of the huge king sized bed with the Heavenly Hell logo on it: One huge blue "H" which a slightly smaller "H" plastered next to it surrounded by sharp white lines. There was also a small microphone stand behind the drum kit so Jounouchi would be able to sit and sing at the same time.
Yugi's keyboard was placed a few feet away from it, along with his microphone. Two speakers accompanied the two instruments to make sure the neighbors could probably enjoy the music as well. But the thing that made Yami's eyes almost pop out of their sockets was the microphone stand in the middle, which was probably meant for him. This already looked pretty official to him and within less than two seconds, a huge wave of nervousness crashed into him.
He slowly placed his case on the couch so he could grab his own guitar. His fingertips had fully healed so he was able to play the guitar without any trouble. They had been rehearsing without the guitar part the first few days and the last three days Yami could bring his guitar again.
Kaiba walked around the room, talking to someone on the phone. Jounouchi was sitting one of the other couches, playing with his drumsticks.
The manager gave him a small nod to greet him and Yami gave a small smile in return. That was when Jounouchi looked up and grinned.
"Hey, bud! Glad you could make it. Yugi and I were starting to worry." Yami's smile widened at the simple nickname. During all those rehearsals, the three definitely grew closer. After a couple of rehearsels, he noticed Jounouchi was warming up to him and even gave him a couple of nicknames.
"Yeah, Mana and I were…" his mind went blank. He was not entirely sure if he had to tell them about what happened. Especially the part where Mai came in. Jounouchi wouldn't be too happy to hear that she paid a visit to his apartment and Yugi would be suspicious as well.
"What, having sex?" Jounouchi filled him in, his grin turning into a sneaky smirk.
"What, I thought you two were just friends?" Yugi had apparently joined the conversation and was suddenly standing next to him.
"Guess she's very friendly, then." Jounouchi leaned back against the couch, chuckling. "I wish I had a friend like that. It's been ages since I've had some good sex."
"She's not my girlfriend," Yami grunted, clearly annoyed that this was happening for the second time. "Nothing is going on between us. And I wouldn't even want that because she's like a sister to me. It would feel weird."
"Then who is your girlfriend?" Yugi said, raising an eyebrow. Yami suddenly remembered that Yugi thought he had a girlfriend.
"Why do you even think I have one?" Yami mumbled. "I never said that."
"Mai did when you two had to perform," Jounouchi drawled, making Yami turn to him. At the mention of her name, it looked like Jounouchi's mood had ben ruined slightly. "And you said it's a long story. You never told us that story."
Then it all came back to him. Mai's face when she said that, Yugi's fake smile and his embarrassment. So that was the reason why Yugi believed he had a girlfriend.
"Oh," Yami said lamely. "Well. I had a crush on her back in high school. We dated for about a week, but then we broke up. It wasn't working out between us. I thought I had feelings for her and it turns out I didn't. It's not a big deal."
Jounouchi twirled one of his sticks in his hand, staring at it as if he was being hypnotized by it. "She was that girl you mentioned in your song, wasn't she? You looked pretty heartbroken to me. Sounded like she hurt you pretty badly."
"Well, I'm over it now," Yami said dryly, folding his arms over his chest.
He felt a hand on his shoulder and turned around to look at Yugi, who was smiling gently at them. "Let's leave it alone. We have to convince Kaiba to sign the record deal."
Yugi motioned towards said contract on the table between the couches. Yami carefully grabbed it and quickly scanned it with his eyes. It contained a few paragraphs, his full name, Yugi's and Jounouchi's name, the name of the band, the word "official" and there was a huge line underneath it for Kaiba's signature.
"Wow…" he looked at and felt excitement rushing through him. He was so close that he could almost taste it. Suddenly it was ripped out of his hands and he looked up at Kaiba.
"Let's get this over with before he starts drooling over it. Are you three ready?"
"Yeah," Yami muttered, getting up and dragged his guitar with him. The three took their positions; Jounouchi sat down behind the drum kit and Yugi behind his keyboard. Yami slowly walked over the tall microphone stand and looked down at it, feeling his heartbeat increasing. Before they started playing, he quickly looked over his shoulder at Yugi, who gave him an encouraging nod.
Taking a deep breath and shutting everything out, Yami let his lips hover above the microphone before he started singing. He struck the first few chords and heard Jounouchi giving him a beat to work with, while Yugi played a soft tune along with his guitar.
Yami glanced over at Kaiba before he closed his eyes when he had to sing a hard note and he heard Yugi singing with him in harmony. His left hand shot up and down to press the strings down when the chorus came along and Jounouchi started going crazy on the drums. He stopped singing for a while, letting Yugi sing the chorus, pouring his feelings into the song.
Yami felt himself smiling at Yugi's singing, admiring the ability to be able to sound so fragile even when he was usually such a cheerful person. The song was not exactly melancholic; it sounded pretty catchy, but the lyrics were quite capturing and made one reconsider some of the choices they have made in their life.
There was a solo part for Jounouchi before Yami filled him in, reaching for the highest note of the bridge. He held it for a couple of seconds, pulling back from the microphone a bit and straightening up.
"Yeah!" Jounouchi exclaimed when Yami had managed to sing the high note and continued to play. Yami could not help but grin like mad when Yugi played the last part and softly sang the last few words.
The song ended and the three looked at Kaiba, the two band members giving him an expecting look while Yami looked concerned and unsure. There was a pregnant silence for at least ten seconds before Kaiba started clapping softly. Yami breathed out the breath he had been holding and almost fell over when Yugi and Jounouchi jumped up and patted him the back, telling him how great he was.
"Well done, you three. I really like that song. It's going to be a great hit," Kaiba said with a small smile. "Yami, your voice is outstanding, even though I could hear the shakiness in the beginning. I can tell that you're talented and that you've got what we are looking for. I can give you all the help you need to make you a great artist."
"Somebody likes you," Jounouchi said playfully, smirking down at Yami and punching his arm playfully. Yami chuckled and watched Kaiba pulling out a pen from his pocket and walking over to the table.
It was as if everything else in the world disappeared when the pen hovered over the line. Yami could not believe his dream career was depending on that signature and he waited with bated breath. He barely felt the small hand slipping onto his own and squeezing reassuringly.
The pen touched the paper and moved around to create the curly letters that would change his life forever.
"There. It's official," Kaiba said, turning to them and holding up the contract. "You are a Heavenly Hell band member."
Before Yami could even sputter out a reply, he was being crushed by a group hug. They started laughing as they actually fell over this time because Yami's knees felt too weak to hold himself up. He was being crushed by the weight of the other two bodies lying on top of him, but he couldn't care less. Everything was perfect now.
It was even more perfect when he got up and Yugi put his arms around his neck, almost tackling him back onto the ground.
"Congrats, I knew you could do it," he murmured in his ear. Yami suddenly felt really hot when he noticed that Yugi's shirt had ridden up a bit and that his hands were touching his bare sides.
"Yugi, I think you're crushing him," Jounouchi chuckled, pulling his friend back to his feet. "You have to be careful with him, he can't have a broken arm when we go to the studio."
"You calling me fat?" Yugi said jokingly, giving him a playful glare.
"If you were, it wouldn't be so easy to do this." Yami burst out laughing when Jounouchi picked Yugi up and threw him over his shoulder. Yugi yelped and started kicking his legs, trying to get back on the ground.
Kaiba rolled his eyes and shook his head before he went to the back of the room, grabbing his phone again. Yami rose back to his feet, deciding that he should give Mana a call to tell her about the good news.
Trying to ignore the yelling and laughter in the background, Yami took out his phone, flipped it open and scrolled through his contacts. Since Yugi and Jounouchi were now in a wrestling match and making even louder noises, he decided to leave the room for a while.
"Hello?"
"I did it," Yami said, chuckling at the fact that he hadn't even bothered to greet her first. It was silent on the other side for a while before he heard an extremely loud squeal. He had to pull the phone away from his head a bit and laughed.
"I knew it! I knew you could do it! I'm so happy for you!"
"I'm so happy, too. I'm actually a bit overwhelmed," he replied, feeling that his hand was shaking in excitement and that he couldn't stop smiling.
"Of course! I probably would have fainted. But anyway," Mana said, still sounded super excited. "we need to celebrate. Give me a call when you're going to come back and we'll go party!"
Yami laughed out loud, shaking his head a bit. "Yeah, we should definitely celebrate. How about a movie night?"
"Sounds good! I'll go rent a few of your favorite ones."
They continued to babble for a while. Well, it mostly was Mana rambling on and on about how happy she was for him. It didn't stop until he felt a soft tap on his shoulder. Yugi was standing behind him, his hair completely messed up and flushed cheeks. He had to resist the urge not to laugh at the hilarious sight.
"Hey, sorry for interrupting, but Kaiba wants to talk about us about the photo shoot."
"Photo shoot? Wait, is that Yugi?" Both of them stared at the phone and Yami smiled sheepishly.
"That Mana?" Yugi said, grinning and pointing at his phone.
"He knows my name! You've told him about me? Yami! Can I talk to him?"
She was talking so loud that Yugi could hear everything she was saying. Yami gave him a questioning look and laughed softly when Yugi held out his hand.
"Go back inside while I talk to her." Yugi held the phone against his ear and gave Yami a small push towards the hotel room.
When Yami got back in, Kaiba was sitting on the couch right next to Jounouchi, who was practically lounging. Kaiba looked up at him and nodded towards a chair.
"Okay, the plan's changed. I want to do the photo shoot right now and get it published as soon as possible. That way, your fans can get used to the idea and it will probably excite them. I know the whole thing with the rumors was a bad start, but this will soften them up. I mean," he looked Yami up and down a bit. "you've got the looks. They'll love your face."
Jounouchi snorted and covered his mouth, suppressing his snickers. Yami was also a bit surprised that Kaiba, of all people, had actually told him that he was good-looking.
"Thanks, I guess," Yami mumbled, rubbing the back of his neck.
"We'll wait for them to publish the photos and when we get enough positive feedback, we'll go to a studio to record the single. The single will be a huge success, I know that already. And you helped writing it, right?"
Hesitantly, Yami nodded and Kaiba mirrored his action. "Good. This proves that you have good writing skills as well. I guess I owe the other two an apology. Didn't think they'd make the right choice without me and it turns out they did."
Kaiba stood up and walked towards the door. "Let me know when you three are ready. I already made reservations, but the photographer is on a very tight schedule. The sooner we get there, the better."
The ride towards the studio was surprisingly short. They were sitting in a small car; Jounouchi was sitting in the front with Kaiba while Yugi and Yami were squished in the backseat. The windows had been darkened so they would not be recognized and if Yami was going to be honest, he felt a little uncomfortable because of it.
Yugi kept reassuring him that he would get used to it in the future and that they would probably drive around in a bigger car next time.
"I feel so stupid driving this piece of junk," Kaiba muttered for the fifth time, causing Jounouchi to laugh.
"It was your idea. I suggest you stop complaining."
Instead of throwing a remark right back at him, Kaiba sped up and made a huge turn around the corner. Yugi practically crushed into Yami, making him yelp in surprise.
"Oi! Not so fast, those two barely have enough space as it is," Jounouchi said, turning around so he could look at them. "You two okay?"
Yugi was rubbing his cheek, which had bumped into Yami's shoulder. "Yeah, we're fine. Are we there yet?" Yami casually looked out of the window, rubbing his chest were Yugi's elbow had hit him.
"We're here. I want you to get out as quickly as you can. I see people walking by. Yami, you go first, then no one will suspect anything."
"'Kay." Yami unlocked his seatbelt and opened the door, curiously looking around. Like Kaiba had said, there were people walking by in the small neighborhood, but they barely paid any attention to him. He slowly got out and saw a small building in front of him.
Giving himself a small push, he walked towards the glass door and, skeptically, turned the doorknob around. It opened and he quickly looked over his shoulder and saw the others getting out of the car as well. Before anyone could see them, they quickly sprinted towards the door as well and entered.
Yami gaped at the sight in front of him. They were standing in a pretty big white room. At the far back was a, what looked like, huge white paper draped over the wall with different lamps shining on it. There were several white chairs as well (probably for the photographer) and a few desks. There were several women walking around and setting everything up to prepare for the shoot.
"Kaiba-san?" A young adult's voice called out. Yami turned around and saw a young male walking up to them. The adult had the whitest hair he had ever seen and russet colored eyes. There was a big camera hanging from his neck, indicating that he was the photographer.
"Yeah, it's me, Bakura. This is Yami Tanaka, the newbie."
The photographer smiled politely and bowed. "Nice to meet you, Tanaka-san. I'm Ryou Bakura, Heavenly Hell's personal photographer. I've worked with this band since the beginning and it has always been a lot of fun. I'm sure we'll get along just fine."
Yami smiled and bowed as well. "Nice to meet you, too."
"Sorry that this was last-minute, Bakura," Kaiba muttered.
"It's fine," Bakura said, turning around and motioning for them to follow him. "This is a rather small studio, one of the smallest I've ever done a shoot in so you probably don't need a tour. I've got everything we need; clothes, make-up, and the editors-in-chief of several magazines. The dressing rooms are in the back, right over there. I put your clothes over there and labeled them. You didn't mention any theme so I went with some of my favorite designers and categorized them on type and color. We'll start with these simple black clothes and see where we'll go from there."
The three of them looked at the three clothes racks with their names on it. Jounouchi walked over to the rack with his name and shoved some of the clothes aside before he found some black pants and a matching jacket.
"You mean this?" Yami and Yugi followed and grabbed said clothes.
"Yep. Go ahead and change. Tanaka-san, I wasn't sure about your size so I got your clothes in several sizes. You know your size, so pick the one you need."
"Wait." Kaiba stopped before they could go to the back. "There are only two dressing rooms there. Why is that?" Bakura bobbed his head and rolled his eyes, folding his arms over his chest, careful to avoid his camera.
"Unfortunately, there are only two dressing rooms available in this building. I would have reserved for one with more, but since you called me an hour ago I could barely fit you into my schedule and this was the only place I could find. This studio is actually only meant for one person." Bakura shot a warning glare towards Kaiba, who gave an even worse glare.
Both of them kept staring at each other, until they turned back to the group. "So two of you have to share one. My apologies."
Yugi and Jounouchi looked at each other, a faint grin on their faces while Yami felt the color draining from his face. Failing to hide his face, he cleared his throat and looked at his feet.
"Jeez, Yami, it's not like one of us is going to grope you, or anything. Relax, man. Yugi and I will share one so you can have your privacy." Jounouchi put a firm hand on his shoulder and squeezed. He leaned forward and whispered. "And besides, there's no need to be embarrassed about your… size." Yami stiffened and felt the blood rushing to his cheekbones. He had not even thought about that and had to resist the urge to punch Jounouchi in the face for saying that.
Jounouchi started laughing his head off, while Yami grabbed his clothes and walked to the back to make sure he would keep control of his temper. He could faintly hear Yugi scolding his best friend for making Yami feel embarrassed.
He kept walking farther to the back until he had reached the dressing rooms and opened one of them. The door was about an inch above the ground so people on the other side would know it was occupied. It was barely big enough for one person, let alone two. It reminded him of the inside of a brown box, only with a small light bulb, a large mirror and a chair. He sat down on said chair, laid his clothes in one of the corners and starting untying his shoelaces, trying to calm down.
Jounouchi was only joking around, but it still pissed him off a bit for saying that. The only thought that swirled around his head when Bakura said that was the fact that it would be pretty awkward to share a dressing room with someone. He was not embarrassed about anything, he was pretty confident about his looks, and yet… The idea of being half naked around them made him feel like an insecure high school girl.
Just when he was about to pull his shirt over his head, he could hear Yugi and Jounouchi approaching.
"Fine, you go talk to him, I was just teasing him."
"What did you even say to him?"
It went awfully quiet and Yami held still, anxiously waiting for Yugi's response. After a couple of seconds he could hear Yugi muttering something under his breath in a very disappointed tone and knocking on his door. Someone opened the door of the other room next to him and closed it again.
"Can I come in?" Yami pulled his shirt back down and said,
"Yeah, sure."
Yugi opened the door and gave him a sheepish smile. He was carrying his clothes with him, and Yami's eyes widened a bit when he closed the door behind him.
"We'll share one. Jounouchi-kun is still a bit grumpy and I don't want him to accidentally smack me in the face," he joked. Yami forced out a chuckle and watched Yugi taking off his shoes. Deciding that the conversation had apparently ended already, Yami continued to undress. It was very hard to resist a glance, for curiosity was practically begging him to look over his shoulder now that he had the chance.
It was wrong, so he told himself not to. Every now and then, they would accidentally touch each other's arms or legs when they reached out for their clothes and mumble an apology afterwards. Yami put on the long pair of black pants and jacket. When he reached for his shoes, he blinked.
They were not there. He glanced around and this time, his eyes fell on Yugi. Said person was only wearing a black shirt and a leather jacket… and some boxers. Yami's eyes traveled down towards his slim legs and they stopped their little journey right away. Instead of the pale skin he had expected, he found some discolorations on Yugi's thighs that went all the way down to his lower legs.
It was as if someone had taken some markers and had drawn random patterns on them. Most of it was red and looked raw, giving Yami the horrifying feeling he could tear it off like paper if he gave the slightest peel. Other parts were purple and blue-ish, with a hint of white. Luckily, Yugi didn't appear to notice he was staring because he was busy buttoning up his jacket.
He pretended not to have noticed a thing and walked over the corner where he his shoes were. They continued to dress up in silence and Yami tried his best to keep his mouth shut about the awful image he had just seen.
Author's note: Lol, Yami found Mana's bra. *snickers*
… Oh right. OOOOH DRAMA. More and more drama, more feelings and more confusion. This chapter feels rushed for some reason. ;_; I'm sorry it's a bit crappy.
I'm hinting at everything so much in this chapter. Them hints are so subtle yet so obvious. Bonus points if you can guess what I've been hinting at for the last few chapters (other than Yami developing feelings for Yugi and vice versa, duh). xD
Next time: Zomg, the pictures are being published, how will the fans react? Mana, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE. A confession, an offer Yami cannot possibly refuse aaand, Mai comes back yet again.
Please review~?
