Sorry, that I haven't updated. But I'm having a serious case of writer's block for this story. Hope this chapter will satisfy you. Again, sorry.
Trina walked down the corridor of the black mansion (seriously, it needs more pink). The only sound was the click clack of her heeled boots. She was sad with her past with Tally. Its not like she wasn't happy that they were that close-and that she was stunning if she says so herself-but it was her demise that sadden her. Now that she knew about her past, she felt... lighter, for the lack of better words. Like the crushing weight of ignorance has been lifted. She views Tally as close friend, closer than Mina and- dare she say it?- Pink-credible ever were.
"Trina?" She turned, bubble gum pink locking with azure blue. "Are you okay? Ever since I showed you your past, you seemed... moody."
"I'm, like, totally fine, Tal." Tally raised an eyebrow.
"'Tal'?" Trina shrugged.
"Yeah. Thought it was about time I, like, gave you a nickname... and junk."
Tally smiled. "I like it."
"So, we need another gig, Lanes." Corey said, his head laying on top of his girlfriend's. Said girl sighed and looked up.
"Okay. I guess we have been putting the band to the side with all the crazy things happening. So where should it be."
"Don't know. Maybe TV will help." Corey threw a shoe at the television and, by with either luck or skill, it hit the button to turn it on. Laney rolled her eyes. It's not like TV helps with every-
"-band needed for the Peacevill Rock Festival." TV mayor said.
Well then.
"Lanes! That band could totally be us!" Of course, Laney thought.
"Well, we have to get it first. Remember the Newmans might be there first. Especially since its closer to their side. "
"Not if I could help it!" He stood up and pointed to the sky. The garage doors opened to reveal the other two members of Grojband.
"Hey my fellow rockers!" Kon said excitedly.
"Did you see the news!?" Kin said, his voice mirroring his twin's excitement. Corey grinned widely and nodded. He jumped up and wrapped his arms around the two.
"Yup! And we're getting that gig!" He looked over at Laney. "Lanes?"
"Yeah, okay. Let's go get that gig!"
"Woohoo!" The boys cheered.
Red eyes looked down at his hands, which were intertwined with another's. A small, barely noticeable, smile appeared on his face as he thought about how much his life changed. It seemed like just yesterday he was living on the streets and fighting to survive on his own. If anyone would have told him a long time ago that he'd meet such awesome friends and be dating a witch, he'd probably send them to a psychiatrist.
"Penny for your thoughts?" He looked down at the blue eyes staring up at him.
"Nothing. Just thinking about how everything's changed." Taylor laughed.
"Yeah. Not everyone wakes up one day to find themselves mixed in some crazy adventures with even crazier friends. Or to find themselves in a relationship with someone who can literally bend reality." To prove her point, she pointed to a red rose that suddenly turned into a dog, a lion, a computer, and back into a rose all in the same second. Sam rolled his eyes, but still agreed.
They were currently at the park, just strolling and being weird(Well Taylor was, Sam was just laughing at her intentional idiocy). As they passed by the center of the park, they were greeted by a stage, a banner that read "Rock Festival", and a bunch of decorations.
"Rock festival? Huh, I can imagine Corey liking something like this." Sam said, more to himself, but Taylor still heard.
"Alright, listen up Newmans!" Carrie yelled at her band. "There's going to be a rock festival today and we have to make sure that Grojband doesn't get to it first!"
"That'll be easy, its closer to us than them." Lenny said boredly. Ever since Kim and Konnie started going out with their rival band's twins, they had a better relationship with them... But that didn't mean that they couldn't have some friendly rivalry.~
"Right!" Carrie said. "So let's go before they get there!"
"Yeah!"
Purple eyes swept over the park. While everyone else saw a beautiful blue sky and a peaceful atmosphere, they saw a darkened sky with ash and ice covering the ground. Fire running wild and rain drumming on the less-than-green grass and pavement.
"We must continue moving." A stern voice said. Nodding, the figure turned and walked with it's companion.
"What a shame." It said, giving a final glance at the now cheery park to it's eyes. "It was such a wonderful town too."
Mayor Mellow looked at the stage proudly. His mama told him to do a rock festival, he didn't know why but he always listened to his mother. Like the saying goes, "Mother knows best." He held the picture of his deceased mother closer and sighed sadly. He knew that she wasn't really there. But it helped to think she was. Especially in the times he feels hopeless.
"Mayor Mellow!" Two sets of voices yelled at him. He turned and looked at the two leaders of the bands he's grown to know. If he didn't know any better, he'd say their twins! But, fortunately, he knew better.
"What are you doing here?! Us? We're going to preform for the rock festival! No we are!" They yelled back and forth.
Why not a band competion, Maurice?
"What a great idea, mama!" The two leaders stopped and looked at him weirdly. "Mama say to have a little completion!"
Winner preforms for the rest of the night.
"The winner preforms for the rest of the night!"
Carrie grinned, Corey mirroring it, and they both nodded.
"Sounds like fun!" Corey said.
"Besides, nothing like a little competition, right Riffen?"
"Totally, Beff." With that, they shook hands and went their separate ways. Maurice's smile dropped and he put an old hand to his forehead.
"Mama, my time is almost up. Soon, I'll be joining you in the stars."
Yeah, so, again, sorry for the delay.
